By far the best restaurant in Clapham High Street. The Food is Great, the Staff are Lovely and it is Excellent Value for money. No cutting corners here with the quantity or the quality of food or drinks. Renato makes amazing Negronis with genuine ingredients.

We had a great time at Eco Restaurant. Very polite waitress welcomed us and found us a nice table to accommodate our pram. The food was beautifully served and delicious. The team was very kind and caring. A special thanks to Jeck for the delicious pizza ! We will come back for sure ! The desserts were exquisite ! Highly recommended !

We have been coming to Eco for the last 10 years for lunches and dinners. The pizzas are fantastic, a great vibe and always such friendly service. Definitely recommend a visit if you want a great restaurant in Clapham.

This is a fantastic restaurant conveniently located near my home. I love that they offer so many healthy food options. The salad with grilled prawns is particularly delicious, and the guacamole toast is amazing! Definitely worth trying!

Just wanted to share that we had an amazing night at Eco Clapham Common. Great food and service 10/10. We had a larger group but everyone was happy and meals came out efficient. Could not fault it.

Firstly the service was good the staff were really friendly and were happy to take our group photo. The food was also delivered nice and quick, however It was boiling hot inside, they had air con but was apparently “broken”. There was no lock on the toilets but they were clean. For starters I had the garlic bread which I will say was delicious however I then ordered the Lasagna for my main and was really disappointed. The plate was swimming in very watery “sauce”and the lasagna it’s self still resembled the plastic tub I presume it came from, the taste was that of a cheap ready meal. And finally wine was served in just a regular glass but with warm tap water as my other option I stuck to a safe Diet Coke. Sorry wish I could leave a better review.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant eco, my waitress Nina was so lovely and helpful she had great customer service. My experience dinning was immaculate the salad I got was fantastic which is what my waitress recommended. The food was great and it came to us in minutes so the wait time was not long at all ! The atmosphere was very blissful. A lovely place for dinning and the waitresses work really hard, would definitely come back !

Was looking for a nice local Italian restaurant that was good pricing and got exactly that, the food was so flavourful and service was quick and my server (Nina I believe ) was very attentive and efficient! Definitely recommend for a nice dinner if you’re local and want a good option of different foods

If looking for great food in Clapham, here’s your answer. Service can be a bit slow at times, but it’s always super friendly. Highly recommend the Venison Ragu with fresh Pappardelle pasta.

Would not recommend visiting this place. Other than with someone holding a gun to your head. Awful food, the pizza came out with puddles of oil on, burnt crust and the cheese tasted gone off. The pasta came out still in a square microwave container shape and they forgot our sides Intill we asked and they then got delivered at the end of our meal. Felt intimidated when asked to remove the service charge and kindly mentioned disappointment in the food which was completely ignored. Waste of time and money.

We came here for my birthday meal and the staff went over the top to make it special! We also have a member of our group who has lots of dietary requirements and they made sure she was still able to have a fabulous meal full of flavour :)

Love ECO, have been coming for years. However, the ridiculous side salad for £4.95 looks like it's been pulled out of a cupboard and plonked on a plate. Told the manager, and he said, "Yeah, we know. Everyone complains about it". I asked why is it still being served, "It's up to someone else". Poor excuse. Pizza is great; don't have the side salad.

Very nice Italian restaurant great food and service.

Calzone is the thing to have. Very good service and the pizza came hot from the pizza oven within 5 minutes of ordering. Nice touch of a complimentary lemoncello as we finished our meal.

The food at this restaurant was okay, but it took longer than expected to arrive, even though the place wasn't particularly full. The risotto rice was overcooked; ideally, it should be al dente, but that's just my opinion - portions were acceptable. The service was mixed: the waitress who led us to our table was really nice, while the one who brought us the food (Italian, based on her accent) wasn't particularly friendly. Overall, the experience was ok, but there are better and more authentic Italian restaurants around.

We booked a last minute table for 12 people as we had family visiting from the US. From the very start the service was brilliant - having a table with 8 adults and 4 kids is pretty chaotic but the staff were brilliant. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our meals. Thank you so much for accommodating us 1) at short notice and 2) managing the chaos with a warm small, friendly service and in VERY hot conditions. We all were raving about how nice and relaxed the meal was for us. Thanks again!

Went here on a Saturday night, we booked in advance which was a good idea as the restaurant was very busy. Food was great, and the staff very welcoming and helpful.

Good food and friendly environment

27/05/2024 - 13.30ish. Verbally and publicly harassed by manager. Went for lunch. Service wasn’t particularly good and slow, didn’t have a consistent server but very happy with the food, as we’d been multiple times previously, including bringing friends. Asked for the discretionary 12.5% service charge to be removed from the bill. The manager (middle aged, white, blue shirt, balding or short hair) became verbally aggressive towards us. Exclaimed loudly to us and nearby guests that he’d taken it off because ‘specially for us as we couldn’t afford the service charge’ when bringing a revised receipt and again while paying. As we tried to leave after paying, he harassed my wife and I all the way out the door, shouting that if we wanted a discount we should be students and to ask others for discounts. We’d paid full price for the food; a tip is optional based on quality of service. Completely unacceptable behaviour and we will not be returning or recommending again.

This is absolutely the worst food I’ve had in a long time. The calamari was oily with the worst batter, I’m not sure it was fresh because the calamari was so rubbery. The risotto seafood we ordered was tasteless. Just pretty awful for £48. The first waitress was probably finishing her shift so she was just so moody and impatient. Would not recommend going here before 6pm!

Went with a group of gay friends the male waiter was clearly homophobic as soon as he saw us he said there is no available table which was a lie cause there were so many empty tables, we had to wait there and eventually had to walk away we were all so upset. The places like. The people like him should not work in places like Clapham, to my community stay away from this place!

Eco does some of the best pizza around. The staff that work here a super. I highly recommend this place.

Let's talk about it: we went to Eco on the advice of our son who lives in London, and we returned every evening. Welcoming environment, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff (Laura made us feel at home). Excellent quality food, very efficient service with very short waits and excellent value for money. Highly recommended

This was my first visit here, the menu looked good. However I had the worst carbonara I've ever had. I was told it was creamy, but it wasn't. The "sauce" was clumped up. The dish was flavorless. I mentioned it to the server and she said to try another pasta next time. Otherwise the food was hot, the restaurant was clean, and service was fine. Will not be returning.

We booked a table at this restaurant as we wanted a pasta meal before running the London marathon. The food was so good that we decided to go back after finishing as we couldn't resist getting one of their pizzas. The staff are very attentive and the food is great. We will definitely come back again when in the area again.

Almost 30 months since my last visit (10/21) but I took two of my colleagues for lunch earlier today at Eco - an Italian family run restaurant iin Clapham High St. I had my favourite Caesar Salad and chicken and must it was as good as ever - so much so, Ali look forward to my next visit.

Very good pizza and value for money. However we found the service is a bit pushy with wanting you to order quick etc. The restaurant could do with better acoustics.

What a great restaurant! We were a group of five and the host was able to sort us a table at very last minute for a birthday. Food and service was outstanding.

I came here on a busy Friday evening last week with my partner, it was busy but we were seated right away without a reservation. The owners were lovely and polite, the food didn’t take long at all to come out either! Pizzas and a prawn basket were all delicious! I would definitely come here again for pizza and perhaps pasta from the looks of the brake next to us! Thanks again for hosting us a lovely evening.

Excellent food and a good vibe to it

Just had my first brunch meeting at Eco. The service is super friendly. We arrived 11 amish and despite not being ‘open’ we were able to get coffees and teas until we could order food. Music in the background just added to the atmosphere. Will book more of my business appointments in this location.

I booked this for dinner on Saturday for meeting friend’s. The food was really nice, I cannot fault it at all. That’s why I’m not giving one star. However, let’s get onto the service. Firstly, our starter was taken away when it wasn’t finished, it went to fast to even say anything. Secondly, when the bill came there was a service charge which was very high, and I personally like to leave a tip in cash so it goes to the waiter directly who dealt with me, which I had planned to do. When I asked the waitress to remove the service charge, I was asked if anything was wrong, to which I replied no, everything was great. I was asked well why aren’t you paying the service charge? I felt a little uncomfortable to be fair. She then got another man to come, not sure if he was a manager. He said what’s the problem? I said no problem, just asked the service charge to be removed (not law to pay it) at this point leaving a tip wasn’t happening after the way I was spoken to. He then said he needs to know WHY we are not paying it as he has to let the staff know. I felt I was in trouble at school. Eventually he let it go and brought the new bill. I changed my mind about leaving a tip in cash as I was made to feel uncomfortable and it changed my whole perspective of the restaurant . The food was lovely, and the pizza was very tasty. But the service shapes the whole experience, and based on that, I won’t return Please work on customer service training We all work hard for our money, and when eating out we want to have a good experience

this is one of my favourite local restaurants in London.

Dined in here tonight with my cousin and I have to say the food was disappointing. My cousin ordered the lasagna main course and there was hardly any cheese or tomato sauce. When my cousin asked the waitress where the cheese was on the lasangna , she replied “it definately has cheese” . I can tell you now , having worked in Italian resteraunts before there was no cheese at all. I ordered the chicken , ndjua pizza and it was very bland and hardly any toppings on it. The olives I ordered for the starters were showing signs of perishing and browning, the truffle chips and aubergine fritters were good but fat, far too salty. We didn’t pay the service charge, but what is incredible , is the manager didn’t approach us to ask what was wrong with the food , multiple times we complained about the quality of the food and all we got was shrugged shoulders and “oh I see” Will not be coming back here. If you are looking for authentic , Italian cuisine, freshly prepared, don’t come here.

Amazing dinner experience with my family. Lovely starters, great mains and just a super night out. The staff was extremely friendly and ensured we were well taken care of. I highly recommend if you are in Clapham or nearby area. What a night!

Loved the starters. The calzone was okay but wasn't very hot in the middle but the outer crust was amazing. The desert we chose was not very nice at all. Overall a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Have been waiting for an opportunity to dine here, but have a son with autism and need a good reason for him to agree to crowds... so I had my birthday meal here with wife and two teenaged sons just before Christmas. Really friendly vibe (and not just because there were a few Christmas dinners going on). No pretentions whatsoever. Food was good and service came with a smile. We will definitely return. Also my sons and wife gave it the big thumbs-up.

Always love coming here - has quickly become a regular spot to meet friends since moving to Clapham. The pizzas NEVER disappoint, personal favourite is the smoked aubergine and burrata. Service is super friendly, and food comes out fast!

Have been coming to ECO for 20yrs and in those times there has been menu changes, staff changes and the restaurant has had revamps but what hasn’t changed is it’s still great!!! Well done Salah and the team!!!
