We had a lovely meal and were well taken care of by Renato. Even though it was busy he made sure we knew he was getting to us soon. Been here a few times and always have a great time.

Sunday lunch - table was booked a couple of days earlier. Lovely, friendly, polite staff, and fast service. The new Venn Street location is great, quieter than the previous Clapham High Street site. Food great. Highly recommended

6 of us with no booking on a Saturday night !!! The manger and staff looked after us wonderfully. We had the last bottle of a certain wine. Manager suggested an alternative more expensive than the other but gave it to us and the 1st bottle price. Food was amazing too.

Renato was super friendly and kind and made sure that we was happy.

I had such a wonderful experience at Eco Restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to Nina. From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations, took the time to explain the ingredients, and made sure we felt completely taken care of throughout the meal. It's rare to find someone who blends professionalism with such genuine warmth, but Nina does it effortlessly. Her positive energy and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience. I had my daughter's First Holy Communion lunch at ECO at it was truly wonderful,the food , the ambiance, the phenomenal staff ,we were really treated like family . They also provided a beautiful Holy Communion cake too .My family ,friends and daughter had a wonderful time. Thank you Sam and ECO team ❤️

This used to be our favourite restaurant when we moved to Clapham! The last place we are before giving birth and the first place we went with our baby! The service was always incredible and food fresh and tasty and managment always happy to welcome us. Towards the end of moving location the quality went down rapidly, lasagne was microwave made (rock hard at places), half cold half piping hot, pizza dough was slimy (how does that even happen?!) and very little topping. We thought it might be a matter of closing down chaos and that in the new location our good old Eco with quality would be back. We recently gave it a try again, but unfortunately it is not much to say.. I hope they figure out the problems because this has been a staple restaurant since living in Clapham for years but after our last visit we sadly would not come back for a long time. I also think it's a bit rude to set up shop next to another pizza local place, but that just might be me. The new location is gorgeous and has so much potential for summer, but it needs work and passion again. Owner no longer checks on your during the meal because he knows.. Hope you guys get it together again. ❤️

Friendly service, and great food! We loved the full English pizza and the aubergine shakshuka which was lovely and cheesey! One of the best dirty chais we’ve had too.

The food trully is pretty good and so are the portions for the price, but the waiter today was pretty rude and i didnt appreciate that, so we ended up leaving, im sure if it was a different waiter wed have a 5 star experiance

Best pizza in Clapham!! There’s a reason Eco has been around for years, the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are fantastic. We had a wonderful meal celebrating my partner’s birthday last night. The staff could not have done more to make sure we had a special evening and we are so appreciative of all the effort they went to. As well as the great staff, the food is excellent, the pizzas are particularly delicious. Also wanted to mention that Eco is very dog friendly for all those pet parents out there.

My boyfriend and I had ham and pork shoulder pizzas, both are great! They are rather similar tho I should have got the mushroom one! Services is great as well I feel like I go back to Italy!

What a wonderful place, I had the four seasons pizza and honestly it’s the best I have had outside of Italy!! The service was fantastic, I never caught her name the Portuguese lady was fantastic very friendly and warm. The bartender Chad was fantastic with the drinks makes a fantastic espresso. Will definitely be back!!!

I came in with my mum on Tuesday. It was quite a nice day and we sat outside and had a nice lunch, £54 with two starters and coffee with some ice creams, was ok, but we enjoyed the food, but one thing I would critique is the battered prawn starter, which had no taste and were like rubber. We both said at the time they maybe frozen, or a cheaper brand as it was a lunch menu. I would like to add the service from an older man and young lady was fab. Forward today, Thursday. The place was empty, all told there were three having lunch. One group left when I got there, so there was me, a chap waiting for a take away pizza. It took me ten minutes to get approached by the waitress today, I think they were not really too bothered about serving me, too busy talking. Anyway, not a biggie, I knew what I wanted, and as it was a lunch hour, I just wanted in and out. I ordered an ice coffee, the zucchini fritters, and a green salad with toms, cucumber and olive. Unfortunately the salad was disappointing, I said after I ate one mouthful I was disappointed there was NO cucumber on my plate, it’s was called a green salad with cucumber. There wasn’t any, so I told the waitress, I did say the zucchini was nice, so they didn’t think I was moaning for the sake of it. She took my plate into the kitchen, then 90 seconds later she came back with my plate of salad to tell me she found one quarter of a piece of cucumber…and she said “ I found cucumber, there is cucumber” . I replied “ok, you found one teeny quarter piece” I was not impressed. And I left it at that. I don’t know why she had to come back and tell me she found a slither of cucumber, maybe she wanted to make me feel bad. I didn’t appreciate it. I didn’t touch that salad and they still charged me for it, even tho I told them there was too much oil on it for me, and mayo, the menu didn’t say it was a dressed salad, most places will say there is a dressing and that’s why I didn’t think to say “no dressing” I feel she should have taken the salad off the bill, or at least the service charge. My family and I have been coming to this establishment since it first opened. I doubt i will be back again, my mother said she definitely wouldn’t also. When I came in on Tuesday the two servers on shift were lovely and friendly and happy to serve us, but today, the vibe was completely different. I even said “thank you” when I left to the pizza maker, even tho I didn’t eat a pizza, he didn’t even respond to me saying “thanks and goodbye” I found this quite rude. A whole miserable experience. I doubt even happy hours 2 for 1 cocktails is enough to get me back again. Ps I must add the blonde lady did say goodbye to me as I left, so at least I appreciatesd that. The other lady wasn’t friendly at all. Not one smile left her face the whole time, and compared to the lovely servers on Tuesday, it was like night and day, it was so different. I asked her for extra ice today, for my ice coffee, I don’t know why but I felt like I was being a nuisance, even tho the place was empty, I got the impression I was being annoying to her for asking. When I come to a restaurant I don’t want to feel like I am not welcome and I don’t want to feel bad for asking a waitress for an extra ice cube. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life, in galleries, museums and historical buildings all over London, I know what customers service is, today there was zero customer service whatsoever. And this is why I only gave two stars today. I’m being generous.

Eco is a beautiful restaurant situated in a vibrant Clapham. As vegans, we had the char-grilled vegetable pizza and the mushroom and truffle oil pizza. Both were great, lovely flavours and amazing good quality knives to cut them. I must admit, I do appreciate a restaurant that has quality cutlery so you don't have to spend half of your time cutting your meal. Overall, excellent location, the vibe and inside of the restaurant is quirky and with plenty of room. There's also seating space outside for those sunny days. I would recommend it!

Extremely rude I came in to have single date by myself and I asked to sit by a plug to have my phone on charge while I ate. The manger put the menu back and told me to leave.

Love that it’s on a pedestrianised street. So peaceful and calm for outdoor dining and a big improvement to previous location. Hopefully more streets like this in Clapham :)

The food is fantastic. It's been a while since I've been. It has been a bit of a wait this time given that it's not been very busy but I loved it. Would definitely come again.

I had a voucher for 1.50 pizza at Eco. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I asked for a recommendation and they recommended the spicy chicken pizza and it did not disappoint. Absolute delicious and I ate every bite. I would definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Valentine's Night was super busy, as expected, and this meant a 10 minute wait at the door, but that isn't the restaurants fault as I imagine a lot of early bookings lingered. Felt a little understaffed, especially given the occasion, and would have had dessert had we not been left with the menus so long, but that being said, the service was friendly and the food was as delicious as ever. Amazing pizzas, pasta was so hearty and filling.

The food was abysmal. The salt and pepper squid was rubbery and chewy, the tempura was saturated with oil that oozed out as soon as you took a bite, and the artichoke pasta was overcooked and cloying. The service was extremely slow. I've been a few times, but since the move to Venn St, the quality has significantly dropped. We will not return.

Absolutely shocking. Served stone cold starters by a drunk owner. I sent it back kindly and then received an even colder plate of food. Ice cold in the middle. We asked to leave and he was drunk and rude. Not much more to it. Been here for years and will now never go again.

I’ve been coming to Eco every few weeks for 15 years - It’s simply incredible. The food is amazing (and even BETTER at the new location!), the service is superb, and the general hospitality is a notch above Clapham’s other restaurants. The chief has his fingers on the pulse and genuinely wants to know his food is up to scratch so will often come out the kitchen to speak to patrons. Can’t recommend Eco Clapham enough. 🙏🏽

Love this place - a local gem and recommend you make a booking! The staff and food are both excellent - thank you Renato for looking after us so well! Excited for the outdoor space in the summer! Also I went with a mate who had the gluten free pasta and she said it was the best she’d tried!

Vinimos aquí para cenar con nuestra hija pequeña y fue un éxito, me quedé impresionado por lo atento, amable y amable que era todo el mundo. Todos fueron encantadores con mi hija, charlando con ella e incluso explicando cómo funcionaban las cosas en la cocina. Múltiples camareros y cocineros realmente fueron más allá y no puedo agradecerles lo suficiente, mi hija pasó la noche sonriendo de oreja a oreja! Teníamos pizzas cada uno y todos estaban deliciosos. Me impresionó el tamaño del menú de los niños especialmente, era básicamente el tamaño de un adulto tan increíble valor. Realmente recomiendo este lugar agradable, fantástico para familias.

In the past me and my family had a good experience at Eco and that is why we dine here time to time. However on the last occasion we were here, we didn’t have a good time as most of the staff were looking at us constantly making us feel very uncomfortable! The only friendly people were the two male chefs. The food was alright but the cheese bread that we ordered for a toddler wasn’t great because it was very dry and wasn’t as cheesy as it is expected. The young waitress knew we were looking for something suitable for the baby and is aware we ordered the cheese bread for the little one but he didn’t make us aware it wouldn’t be suitable for a small child! Anyway we will give Eco one more chance next time for the old time sakes.
