The perfect place for a coffee, coffee and a cake or even lunch. Interesting building and a variety of seating options.... Definitely child-friendly!

Asked for 4 croissants, got 3 which turned out to be burnt, empty display, frozen cakes. Really disappointed.

All the different coffees you could want, good size, clean, food pretty expensive, but ok for a quick drop in 20 minute coffee and croissant moment!

Coffee is good, all savoury food on three visits has been overpriced and very poor quality. £6 for a bagel. Avoid.

Lovely and spacious. Good range of sweet and savoury eats and the full range of proper Italian coffees. Always buzzy whilst quiet enough to concentrate on whatever you are watching or reading. Friendly staff too!

I have loved going to Dolcezza in the past and regularly go there. However, I went in today to find that there is new management and they have increased their prices hugely for exactly the same items of food and drink. I don't mind a small increase but nearly a pound extra for a cup of tea which is essentially a teabag and water seems a bit steep. Also no tap water set out anymore so that you can help yourself. Wonder if they want you to pay for that too. What a shame.

I am regular client of Dolcezza, I like so much the premises, the Italian coffee, especially the friendly staff as Marianna and Mirko. Worth it to try the wrap that remind a authentic Italian piadina. I hope you will enjoy spend time in there as much as I do

Having just moved into the area and being a coffee snob, I was absolutely delighted to find Dolcezza on my doorstep. The coffees were spot on and the pastries and cakes delicious. So good that I went back for lunch. Given that my new flat is extremely small, I will most definitely be spending a lot of time in Dolcezza. The service was excellent too. Looking forward to this morning's cappuccino already!!

Love the coffee and the pastries here especially the mignons. They make cakes to order and a small daily changing menu for lunches such as salads or pastas. There are also fresh juices on offer and in summer fantastic home made ice cream.

Every morning I stop in this coffee shop for my breakfast. Always they provide me the same good quality coffee with a smile . I use this place to work with my laptop over the weekend, and it's fantastic cause I'm not the only one doing this. A lot of computers with a weekend dressed people working and enjoying an amazing cup of coffee with tasty sweets. Highly recommendable. Good product with the perfect staff.

Well waiting for a meeting close by we popped into this hidden gem for a coffee. The cappuccino's were great and probably the cheapest in London to boot. The sandwiches were beautifully presented and tasted as lovely as it looked. Their staff was amazing as well

Popped into Dolcezza when I recently attended a course in Oval - despite the building being a little unprepossessing (I wasn't sure it was actually a cafe because the entrance is internal after a kinda empty exhibition space), it's a lovely open space. The space has a large open plan New York loft feel - whitewashed brick, mix of formal table/chairs & mismatched armchairs/sofas.The food feels quite high end European - lots of croissant/brioche options. The sweet treats the cafe is named after looked really appetising.Staff were pleasant, not overly chatty or smiley but efficient and polite.I had a freshly prepared juice (apple, kiwi & ginger). Seemed a little small, but actually just right due to the filling nature of the fruit pulp/froth.They have Internet, a place to charge your phone & it was bustling without being noisy or overcrowded. All in all, a nice experience in an area where there isn't much option for a sit down meal or snack.

I stop by daily to have my flask filled up with coffee and occasionally at weekends. They have now taken on board comments about wifi table hoggers with notices asking patrons to be considerate. Croissants and mignons are all delicious. Personal favourite is the coconut mignons or pain au raisin.

My partner had a sudden craving of cannoncini (mini cone pastry with cream) when he was watching the Italian serie of Monteplano - I found this place by chance. The location is easy to find, between Oval station and Stockwell, on the left if coming from Oval. It is located on the ground floor of what looks like an old, huge factory made of bricks. Outside there is an advertisement for Gym membership and a Tesco express is adjacent to the building. No parking available at the front, even for Tesco store but there are possibilities on the meters on the next street Durand Gardens- free on Sunday but beware of resident parking permit the other days.On entry to Dolcezza, there is a porch with tables and then a few steps up to the coffee shop itself. It was light , bright and massive ! You could peek at the kitchen behind the counter. For the amount of space available , the coffee shop itself was not particularly busy . However, nearly all the seats were occupied and there were not many for such a large space. There were an assortment of comfy bright sofas, low tables , top table with stools and round the corner , a large dining table for sharing.Staff were Italian and very friendly, you order, pay and take your food away to your table. Coffees, hot chocolate ordered were very good. The cannoncinis were delicious. My partner could not resist getting some more to take home and I also selected a mini box of 'mignons'. I especially recommend the mango 'mignon'. It was perfect, the banana was more of a mousse for me but tasted as delicious with a melting chocolate top.We enjoy this great find and would be back again soon . This place also sell delightful full size cakes , tiramisu and tarts for about £22-26 .The only thing which annoyed me was the number of singles perched up on their stools with opened laptops with half empty glasses of lattes. If this place is going to work, they better have more tables and chairs or have a time limit on internet access.

I really like this place but can't help wondering if it will last. It is huge. Including the kitchen basketball court sized, even bigger perhaps. Despite the size there are only ten tables and there is normally one available. I love this space but the rent must be huge. The coffee is better than chain coffee shops but probably not quite as good as some independent coffee shops. It is however cheaper. £1.90 for a flat white compared to £2.50 elsewhere. The pastries look good but havent tried them yet. I would love it if they were a restaurant in the evening. Their kitchen is easily big enough to do pizzas in the evening.

Dolcezza is our great neighbourhood pasticceria. Not only do they serve excellent coffee and seriously delicious cakes and pastries, the space is enormous and you can even access the cafe via a ramp at the back. Even better, Dolcezza is open early (for London) which is fantastic for those of us pushing prams and desperate for coffee. The staff are great and welcoming of everyone and this means they have cultivated a diverse and loyal clientele.

The coffee was nice. The kitchen was closed at 14:30 on a Saturday...??? There were 4-5 sandwich options which all looked delicious, however there was no flexibility when I asked if I could add some meat to one of the meatless sandwiches as the kitchen was closed. Is a chef really required to out a slice of meat on an already prepared sandwich?? The deserts looked very good. The price was average, about £5.50 for a coffee and a meatless sandwich. Ordering at the till is fine, however it would be more polite to deliver the hot food to the customers table rather than the waiter/waitress shout from the till for the customer to return to pick up their food. The cafe looks great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Its very family friendly (read 'lots of kids') Both toilets were out of loo roll and the bins were overflowing with paper towels. All in all, it was ok. I'd return for a coffee but only if I was passing by.

I have been wondering whether to post this as I don't want it to get busy and more expensive! But my altruism knows no bounds so for the good of humanity here's my review. This is by far the BEST coffee in London and it comes in generous quantities. £1.80 for a tall latte! Speaking to the barista, they source it from a elite producer in Northern Italy and you can tell! The atmosphere is lovely and there's a production facility out the back where you can watch all the goodies being produced - ciabattas, cakes, salads etc. Stockwell have got a blinder here. If you're in Clapham or Brixton you should check Dolcezza out before it becomes busier or more expensive. But don't tell too many of your friends please.

As and Italian you grow up with a pasticceria (a patisserie) and a gelateria (and ice cream shop) never far away. In the UK those good habits are difficult to find. But suddenly the Italians open Dolcezza. The croissants at Dolcezza are even first spot with a place in France I go on holiday to (try the one with the cream inside). The little cakes are incredible, freinds brought two boxes last night for dinner, my man was like a little kid, that is how excited he was. They open one if Shoredich too now, coffee and croissant have all a different meaning now. Thank you Dolcezza

Utilising an old print works, with high ceilings and wide open spaces, tables, sofas, books, newspapers ... this is just a great space for friends to meet up. It is child friendly, but so spacious that children need not be a nuisance. You can see into the kitchen where fresh food is prepared using obviously authentic ingredients. The coffee was hot and tasted like coffee. The freshly baked cakes and pastries are almost as good as you would find anywhere, and the value for money of their coffee and cake deal is simply unbelievable. A great discovery.

every aspect of our meal was executed to absolute perfection. I had the branzino and it was perfectly cooked and wonderfully fresh. The service was spot on from seating through dessert. Their wine recommendation was perfect. When I get back to London, I will definitely return. *they typically de-bone the branzino. I requested it as a whole fish.

After a long day of travel, I checked into the Park Plaza County Hall Hotel hoping to enjoy a quick and convenient meal at **ATRIO Restaurant** as directed by the front desk. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected at a hotel of this caliber. I arrived at ATRIO at 10:38 PM, only to be informed that the last food order had been taken at 10:30 PM—barely eight minutes prior. Despite explaining my situation and asking for a simple exception given the minimal time lapse, I was refused service. I was then advised to order room service instead. However, since my family was already asleep in our room, ordering food there wasn’t an option. I suggested ordering room service and eating downstairs to avoid disturbing them, but I was told multiple times that the same kitchen serving room service was the one handling restaurant orders—yet no solution was offered to help me. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was any kind of food. Instead, I was left with no choice but to wander the area on foot for **45 minutes** just to find somewhere still serving food. This experience was incredibly disappointing. The lack of flexibility and unwillingness to accommodate a guest in need felt unwelcoming and unnecessary, especially considering the hotel’s reputation and the resources available. For travelers, especially those arriving late, this lack of support is frustrating and far below expectations. I sincerely hope the hotel reconsiders its policies or trains staff to provide more thoughtful solutions for guests who find themselves in similar situations.

At their new venue opposite the cinema in Clapham Common… Fab restaurant, lovely food … tucked away off the strip and Lorraina was so friendly and professional I had to sing her praises ! Thanks for looking after us and giving us such a positive experience… We’ve been back twice since our first visit !
