Ante todo. .

15 minutos después todavía no había llegado.

Great spot for a leisurely Friday night dinner! Service was friendly and attentive, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. Quality of ingredients really shines through, with incredible olive oil and balsamic used to dress some of the dishes and really elevating them. The burrata was delicious and creamy, and meatballs flavoursome - firm but juicy. The menu is seasonal, so it changes often - we will definitely be back to sample again! We splashed out on a delicious bottle of wine and the bill was still very reasonable considering we were too full for dessert.

No esperes a prisa y salir.

‘Italian tapas’ is a recent invention of London’s restaurants and a prerogative of Venice only in Italy. Here it is done with inventiveness and good ingredients. How can stuffed mushrooms be amazing? But they were and so was the duck spread and the tagliatelle spinach and almonds. One criticism to the menu was the lack of meat/fish dishes (only 2 amongst 20sh). Service was attentive. The place is cosy as all Brixton village restaurants are but the owner should sort out the extractor fan because by the end of the dinner our eyes were read from the fumes coming from the kitchen and the clothes totally smelly. Excellent value for money though.

We stumbled on this place in Brixton Village on a Friday night and it is fantastic! The restaurant only has a handful of tables so book if you can. It's an intimate, cosy atmosphere. There's a great selection of small plates to choose from, with plenty of options for vegetarians. For me, the aubergine dish was the highlight but the tortilla topped with a fresh egg was incredible too. The wine list is small but well-picked so you can't go wrong. Food is cooked to order in a tiny kitchen so be prepared for a bit of a wait but this allows you to savour your time there

Visited last night, a nippy November Friday and had some fantastic little plates. As the three of us are non meat eaters we repeated a couple of dishes, and they were so good. The star of the table for me was the white lasagne, wild mushrooms and truffle oil, it looked a miniscule amount, but was rich and well flavoured, a luxurious mouthful. Stuffed squid with polenta chips was more substantial and the mushroom millefeuille was a deconstructed riot of truffly greatness . We drank a lot - a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of red between 3, because the charming service was chaotic, we waited too long for food to arrive and the prosecco actually was better chilled after sitting at the table for an hour than it was when it arrived. They reckoned it was a very busy night, but there were empty tables and not the usual queues, as it was a cold night, I think it just got a bit disorganised. However would love to go back as the quality of the cooking was impressive and delicious and the chef checked with us how we'd enjoyed her work, Made me smile inwardly that we were told the kitchen was closing in 7 minutes when we'd waited upwards of an hour for food, a bit 'wait and then hurry up' but do give this a visit, they're lovely people and great scoff. On the pricey side for small dishes - but if you want something exquisite, this delivers.

Just had an espresso, aragostine and sicilian canolli. The coffee was perfect, literally - strong and balanced, with none of the bitterness and grainy aftertaste you might get in other cafés. The Italian pastries were so fresh, the crunchiness exacerbated the delicate taste of pistachio or hazelnut. Friendly, warm, Mediterranean (in a good way) service, without pretence. Will deffo go back. And the whole experience only cost £5.80 for 2!

This is a lovely little cafe/restaurant in a prime location in Brixton market. The cafe menu has a nice selection of sandwiches/salads to choose from and all sound very tasty and look delicious, however, it is let down my terrible service. We had to ask for menus and table water, after being given those we were moved tables to the 'restaurant' area (which has a different menu despite us wanting something from the café menu). When the waiter realised this (despite us previously asking for food from the café menu) we were moved tables again back to the café area. This makes no sense - the two areas are next to each other and not marked, it just created extra hassle. We then waited ages and eventually had to ask for our order to be taken. Both the drinks and food order were incorrect. We had to ask for cutlery but were given no knives. We asked for knives and had to wait 5mins while they were washed up. The food was tasty but this place seems seriously understaffed making the service very slow and inattentive.

Some of the worst customer service I've had in Brixton Market! We wanted brunch, the menu looked good and there were only 3 other tables currently eating. The waitress walked past 6 times before we managed to grab her attention, we ordered our drinks then she started to walk off, had to call her back to take our FULL order which included brunch. After umming and ahhing she eventually said there was only one chef in the kitchen so the food may be a little delayed (10-15 minutes), which is fine and understandable. Our tea came out, my order was wrong, and the waitress got all huffy when I pointed this out. The milk offered was warm not cold (and when you live in England.. this is NOT OK). My friends tea cup had a large crack all the way down it that was oozing boiling hot tea. Not safe, and again when this was mentioned we received a scowling stare. Then my Eggs Benedict & Ham came out, looked great but since I had no cutlery I couldn't eat it when it was hot. Then my friend Eggs Benedict & Salmon came out, only minus the salmon!! We requested cutlery for a 3rd time before it arrived. Basically, dire service! The actual food was good, but such a shame that the 3 waitresses couldn't get their act together.FYI, on the bill they had written "service not included".. and that was the way it stayed!

Having eaten regularly at San Carlo cichetti restaurant I can say that Casa Sibilla is more authentic, more competitively priced and the portions larger . Reading negative reviews I can only conclude that some visitors are unaware of the concept whereby food arrives when it is ready, is for sharing and will not all come at once! For 5 main dishes , 2 deserts and a bottle of wine the bill was less than £80... Great value for money and lovely service. Can't wait to sample more dishes next time ... Firstly i can't understand the positive reviews on this place as ours was terrible. We've tried a couple of cafe's/restaurants in the area, a japanese one 2 doors down was excellent, So thought we'd try this one as my wife's Italian, and i was hungry this Sunday late in February. We were seated and a young waitress came over and asked us what we wanted to drink, but there were no drinks menu's.... Then when we asked a couple of questions re the food she had no idea, saying she'd get a guy/the other waiter. He then said that this Sunday had been busy and he would get us a revised menu (oh great i thought). the same menu came out blackened out with a marker pen. 75% of the menu. I opted for the prawn balls, wish i hadn't (where were the prawns), the white wine wasn't bad though. My wife ordered the beef arancini was nice i ate my wife's as i was starving. The service was very slow or the kitchen was as a near-by table we overheard complaining... My wife's brushella came out apparently it wasn't bad she said. 15min later my roast pork belly came out dry and a very sml portionsnd at these prices a rip-off.We ordered desserts and the cake was quite dry as well the tirimusu wasn't bad.All in all a bad experience, and as i'm a chef i felt let down and a little riped -off.

I went to Casa Sibilla on a Sunday with my girlfriend. As Italians we don't really like eating "Italian" outside but we were intrigued to test the food at Casa Sibilla as it's known to be not conventionally Italian. We ordered mixed olives, carasau bread, parmiggiana, veggie croquettes, gnocchi and crespelle. I have to say something was even well made (croquettes), however nothing tasted very good, unfortunately. A couple of notes: the cook was really friendly and careful. The service was quick enough but honestly poor: tables were not clean as one would expect from an Italian restaurant and glasses too old... Finally we found it a bit pricey (42 pounds). Also it's cash only! With this said, I think it's worth going once to try..

We chose to go for brunch at Casa Sibilla as it was quiet but we should've realised that this meant something! We both ordered crushed avocado, mozzarella and sundried tomato bruschetta except I asked for no tomato with mine and extra pancetta. We then had to wait half an hour for our drinks to arrive and an hour for the food to arrive! No excuse as minimal cooking was required and that it was not busy. When we asked where our food was they didn't care and just said it was coming. When it did arrive mine arrived without pancetta and with tomatoes - not sundried ones but cherry tomatoes. Apparently they thought that my asking for no tomatoes only referred to sundried ones! The pancetta arrived even later and they only gave me one rasher which cost £1.75. Brixton Village has so many options - go somewhere else!

I've eaten here about 6 times and it's always a good experience. I've brought foodie friends from Switzerland and America, and both have loved it as much as I do. All the dishes are really tasty, individual and surprising. Love the creamy Puglia mozzarella and the pork belly (though the portion is a little too tiny - we had a hard job sharing it!). A request for the tiny lamb meatballs that used to be on the menu to be reinstated - they were delicious. Very friendly service from our sweet Apulian waiter. I'll definitely be coming again.

The food here is lovely - very thoughtful menu and well cooked food. However the restaurant was very cold, uncomfortably so. The portions are also quite small - even for tapas

Nice little restaurant, food good but service pretty awful. Got a couple of dishes within 15 minutes but the rest were more than 45 minutes later. They forgot a drinks order and were not very sympathetic when we said we had to leave to go to a gig. If they sort the service out I would go again, nice food.

SUPERB food, I always want to try the other Tapas bars of Brixton but keep going back to this one as they change their menu so often and the food is truly delicious. We had the most amazing red wine, it was called something 29. best red wine iv had in a very long time.

Cucina italiana molto buona. Prezzi abbastanza moderati. Personale gentile e cortese.

I come from the NE of Italy so this place is like coming back home for me. Nice presentation and tasteful dishes, highly recommended (especially the Burrata in the "chef's specials")!!

Great food, ambience and fabulously friendly staff! Casa Sibilla never fails to disappoint with their flavoursome food. I have been before and will return again! The most delicious parmigiana and gnocchi in London.

I visited Casa Sibilla on Sunday 27th November at lunch, with a friend who apparently is a regular. I truly enjoyed the food, it's a real Italian cooked with love. I was amazed by the quality of the food they offer. We had a young boy as waiter and he was adorable and knowledgeable about the menu. We had to wait a little bit but it was worth it and also I was worried at the beginning before stepping inside the restaurant, but I decided to go ahead. Like I already said, this friend of mine knew how good they are. Definitely going back.

Food looked great. Bit short on staff so mine was not hot and everything took ages. Tasted great though

The service was so bad. There were only two other tables of people when we arrived and the service was incredibly slow - even once ordered we had to chase for bread at least twice before it came about 15minutes later. When asking for drinks these also took a very long time. Our wine arrived after the main dishes, even though we chased twice for this before and the waitress that mostly served us looked very uninterested. It was a real shame!

A very busy, bustling little restaurant in the heart of Brixton Market. Booking is advisable. The food is freshly prepared so it does take a while to get your food but it's worth the wait. Try a few cicchetti first to keep you going. The arancini were very good and the breads excellent - varied focaccia and amazing olive doughnut type balls which were delicious. The pasta is home made and we sampled gnocchi and a crespelle which is a baked dish of filled pancakes with loads of cheese sauce! Well worth a visit and really pleasant staff. You can also have their brunch menu which sounded delicious too.

The food was very good. The service was prompt and very friendly. There was some confusion about a dish we ordered because of language barriers but overall would highly recommend this place.

Where shall I start. If you want to eat on Sunday make sure you arrive on Saturday to order. The waiter was very rude and short with us. When we arrived he shook the crumby table cloth all over us and when we asked which was the skinny cappuccino he replied very abruptly "I don't know". We waited half an hour to order and a further hour for the drinks to arrive. When we asked for the bill we were told we'd need to wait. It's a shame because the food was lovely and one of the waiters was nice.

The food at Casa Sabilio is absolutely top notch, fresh pasta, rich sauces and perfectly cooked. It's a little more authentic then your standard Italian, you don't get your basic Spag Bol here. What you do get is fantastic food that you don't get in many other places; the menu revolves regularly so you can't be sure what you're going to get, but you can be sure that whatever you order it will be good.We made a little faux pas upon arrival by sitting down without waiting to be seated, as a result we didn't get served until we tapped a waiter on the shoulder. Despite the casual setting of Brixton Village, this is still a Restaurant and should be treated as such, so do ask a waiter to seat you so they know you're there. Once we were served, our waiter was attentive, friendly and very able to recommend different dishes to us.Casa Sibilio is a little more expensive then your average Brixton fair, (our bill came to £100 between 4), but it's certainly worth it on special occasion.

Lekker eten, snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Gezellige locatie.

Can’t believe this place is still about!! I found a job through star now as a promoter that needed to be filled in. There was 2 other us before starting the shift the other girl left and I stayed for the shift. I worked there couple years ago and didn’t even get paid AT ALL!!! My messages were completely ignored!! I had to stand out in the cold to promote the bar! On top of that my card was stolen at the end of shift and I was very out of it Kmt. Do not recommend AT ALL.

Busy pizzeria. Excellent food and superb service. Quite noisy, or lively, depending on your preference!
