Amazing experience at the restaurant! The food was fantastic, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Flavia. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and her smile lit up the entire place! She made sure we had everything we needed and recommended dishes that turned out to be amazing. A true professional who clearly loves what she does. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was the most tasteless I have ever had, and the caesar salad was the most pathetic thing I have ever eaten. Never again

If 0 stars were an option, I would give it a -1. Service was abysmal, took multiple tries to get anyone's attention. Food was overpriced for what was offered. We received 2 mozzarella sticks for 8.50. Pizza was okay, a little bland and lacked flavor. Restaurant won't honor discount written on their website.

A Must-Visit Spot in Shoreditch Visited Pizza East - Shoreditch recently and was genuinely impressed. The vibe is stylish yet relaxed, with a cool industrial aesthetic that fits perfectly in the heart of Shoreditch. The menu is well thought-out, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor—especially the pizza, which was cooked to perfection. The staff were polite, quick, and clearly well-trained. You can tell there’s solid management behind the scenes—Alex, the restaurant manager, clearly knows what he's doing. His presence brings a sense of order and hospitality that really enhances the whole experience. All in all, a fantastic spot for great food, a lively atmosphere, and excellent service. Will definitely be returning soon.

Nice place, but overpriced and food was below average. We went Saturday evening and whilst a nice vibrant atmosphere is great but you go there for the food. Service was quite slow and when the food came it was luke warm at best. Pizza was very bland tasting and toppings are liberally used, and for a £18 pizza this is disappointing. Wife had chicken parmigiano, again not to exciting tasted ok but still not worth the money ( 20) And it was literally just a bit of chicken with tomato sauce and some pesto. Below average experience won't be returning as there's so many better dining options in the area.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to dine in the middle of a speaker testing facility while eating overpriced food, look no further! Firstly the music was blasting so hard I couldn’t not speak without shouting, and we were sat at a round four people table. I wasn’t sure if I was at dinner or auditioning for a role in a musical about tinnitus. I briefly considered communicating via Morse code by tapping my fork on the table. After kindly asking if they could lower the volume, they informed me that this was meant to be a club-like environment. When asking where this mythical club was, the condescending waitress could not point me to it, saying it was corporate’s decision to have this sort of atmosphere. I thought I was going to eat some overpriced pizza, instead it felt like being in a poorly-lit rave with mediocre food. Speaking of overpriced, let’s talk drinks. £8.25 for a pint of beer so exotic it hailed from the wild, faraway land of… Tottenham. I had to double check if my beer was made in the USA to understand whether paying that much for a pint was a consequence of Trump’s tariffs. The starters were… present. They existed and we bore witness. Although I would have not been shocked had they messed up two dry meatballs in sauce and some fried zucchini. In a fun twist the plates from the starters almost stayed to watch us eat the mains. I would have appreciated if they had cleared the table before bringing the pizza, but in this fun environment I guess I was the customer, the raver as well as the waiter. So immersive! The main event, the pizza. This disc of disappointment was so incredibly average it might has well have been frozen and reheated. The dough was so parched I half expected a UN water envoy to show up and offer it relief aid. Naples may never forgive this betrayal. To wrap things up, the waitress did remove the service charge without protest, which I can only interpret as a quiet act of mercy. A rare moment of clarity and self-awareness in an otherwise bewildering fever dream of a dining experience. Would I recommend it? Not even if it was free.

Great waiter, always available and friendly. However funghi pizza was a bit of a let down, lack of taste! Tiramisu made up for it, that was very nice. The place is too noisy.

The food was good - the pasta dish was great as was the chicken parmigiana. The parmigiana comes on its own so if you want an accompaniment make sure you order a side. The atmosphere was not ideal. It was so dark I could barely read the menu and the music was so loud we had to shout to have a conversation. The other diners were shouting so loud to be heard it was borderline obnoxious, but not their fault as you literally had no choice but to shout. The service. Oh dear. It was non-existent. We had spent a long day being tourists and I was parched by the time I sat down. When the waitress asked for my drink order I asked for iced tap water and you’d have thought I spit in her face. Also, I didn’t get my iced tap water. After serving our food not a single staff member came near us and we had to physically go and find someone so we could pay and leave. I honestly think we could have left without paying if we were so inclined; it was that difficult to get someone to notice we were there. If we hadn’t I’m pretty sure we’d still be there waiting…

Honey, Gordon shrunk the pizzas. Such a shame, a complete shadow of it’s former self. Place was pretty empty and somehow took about 30 minutes to even get a drink, pizzas have shrunk by 40%, they are dry and everything tastes like oil. Awfully expensive way to make yourself feel sick, best avoided.

Came for a light snack with my brother. We ordered two drinks and a starter. The drinks took 30 minutes to come and the starter 40… no one was updating us on anything, we had to get their attention and ask, only to be told that they will check.

Stopped by this place on the last day of my business trip in London and definitely didn’t regret it! The atmosphere is great, and time flew by. The food was amazing, especially the Coconut Sorbetto & Cherry Molasses – a must-try! Special thanks to Daria – she really made our vibe and made the evening even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely return if I'm in London again!

Frustratingly disappointing, I had heard good things about Pizza East, it was painfully underwhelming. The pizza was ok, not very big, expensive and served on mediocre aluminium trays. The music was too loud for a good conversation, it was a club atmosphere with nobody dancing. The drinks are expensive and the staff were slow. Just 100 metres away, Rudy’s and Pizza Pilgrims offer a lot more for less money and in an equally good atmosphere. Without the loud music.

I had a meal with a few friends. The pizza was nice, it was a Smoke & Ham pizza, although I must say not impress it came fully loaded with chillies and I don't remember seeing chilli warning in the menu. The service was OK, the place was very busy so it wasn't very fast, but also not too slow. The waiters were generally very nice. And finally 3 stars for the atmosphere, sorry. They had the music way too loud for a restaurant so you could barely listen to each other. I get Shoreditch is an area with a lot of night life, but this is a restaurant, not a disco. I wouldn't advice coming here if you want to have a meaningful conversation with your friends.

Unfortunately if you have allergies (especially nuts) I wouldn’t advise eating here. As nice as the food is, they don’t advise you properly that their deserts contain nuts and then despite sharing your allergies, they serve the food and then offer to order and ambulance after you’ve eaten… not service expected.

The senior waiters definitely earned their tips with very smooth, courteous service. I recommend the 'doughnut' dessert but share it as it is huge! Nice mellow background music for a Sunday afternoon in a loft-chique setting.

Had the best quality provided and the service provided by Alex is way and beyond the any ones else...been in a loads of Gordon's places and each time I've been all of them, somehow Alex been working there...he is so professional, attentive hard working person, a real asset and he remembered even my favourite drink. Tengo dolor de estómago terrible durante horas: ( Tengo una tienda a la vuelta de la esquina y vine a cenar después del trabajo. Pedí una pizza de calabacín sin gluten sin cebolla y reducción balsámica. Cuando empecé a comer, no se me quitó nada, pero no había un solo trozo de calabacín. Se lo dije al camarero y me dijo defensivamente que no ponían balsámico y pena por la cebolla sin ofrecer reemplazo. Tenía demasiada hambre para discutir o insistir. La pizza tenía tan poco y pedí un poco de aceite de oliva para que fuera más llevadera, pero también era insípida (si es que era oliva). Adivina lo que pasó al final. ¡Recibí la cuenta con 5 libras extra por 2 coberturas! ¿De qué se trata este lugar? Gordon Ramsey necesita hacer trampa? Ruidoso! ¡Antigua! ¡Sin disculpas! Música tan pobre como la comida. Miseria.

Fuimos a cenar temprano 6. 30 domingo ¡Buenos entrantes no tan buenos! La pizza carecía de suficientes ingredientes, carbonizados en los bordes pero mal cocidos en el medio... La berenjena parmigiana era muy salada. No nos impresionó... y los baños de señoras no habían sido limpiados. Tristemente no es la experiencia que esperábamos!
