Absolutely loved it here, courgette fritti were the star of the show and the pizza was amazing! Kamal was a fantastic host, looking forward to visiting again!

Our server was Firat. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. Offered recommendations based on our preferences and likes. Great customer serve and wonderful personality. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Firat

I gave another go to visit another Gordon Ramsay restaurant, the 2 precious ones were total disaster. This time I went for full course to try few items. Burrata with tomatoes for starters with the house salad. House salad was amazing, great balance between flavours, meat and dressing. Burrata was fresh with nice tomatoes. After I jumped to funghi pizza and Nduja and honey respectively. Pizzas were small and the base thinner than expected. I like thin base but it was something like a4 paper, no jokes! £17 for a pizza and the size was incredibly small, very disappointing. For dessert I had afogatto that was really well prepared and tiramisu, Tiramisu was disappoint, lengths to be improved. Place is cozy and customer service is good. Would I go back for the pizza? No! Would I go back just for a drink and house salad, oh yes! Pizzas need big time improvement!

i have a mixed review as i dined in on saturday and absolutely loved it, we thought the food was amazing and incredibly well priced on top of that. the mac n cheese in particular was so nice that i decided to order through deliveroo today, it took an hour for my order to be made (a pizza, side and a dip) and i actually laughed at the portion size of the delivery mac n cheese

Overpriced, poor service, sneaky olives. Pizza was pretty good but nothing special, priced was £13-15 which seems to be the going rate. Everything else was ridiculous prices. £8 for a pint, £7 for a bottle of beer - laughable prices even for London. Not to sound like an old man but the music was far too loud, pumping club vibes all round made it impossible to have a conversation over your delicious over priced meal. Staff were friendly but service was poor. £8 pints were ordered to the table during the meal but they never arrived, they did however remain on the bill at the end which we had to ask to get removed. Beware the sneaky olives. After ordering our food an unrequested ramekin of delicious looking olives arrived on our table. After establishing that no one ordered them we tried to catch a waiter to see if they were complimentary but didn't succeed. Alas we succumbed to the juicy olive. They were not complementary. A mere £5.32 added to the bill at the end for the tiny ramekin. Overall, save your money, your voice, and go anywhere else for pizza.

The pizza and the cocktails were amazing. Made of high quality ingredients. Kamal our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others.

Impressive building / decor / lighting. We were served by Nadia who was delightful...attentive and polite and we had a lovely short chat with her as we paid. The Nduja pizza was very good. Not sure about the music though. I find music somewhat irrelevant whilst eating and would prefer to hear my companion a little more easily. However my companion said it didn't bother her. Would return for sure.

Cozy place despite the industrial style which is usually a bit cold, but here it is really pleasant and well-kept. Excellent food especially the pizza..."truly" Neapolitan. Neapolitan like Nadia the girl who served us. Friendly, available and ready to welcome customers and especially her fellow countrymen with the smile and cheerfulness that distinguishes her land from the rest of the world. Recommended for anyone passing through London..

I was served the most amazing Margareta Pizza by the lovely waitress Nadia. She was polite, smiley, friendly and helpful. I came in ravenous and was served very quickly. If ever I am in Shoreditch again, I will certainly return.

I went to pizza east this week, it was my first and I loved everything, the food is amazing taste like you are eating in Italy (it gives you a holidays vibe). The waiters are so friendly, specially Nadia she is amazing, a lovely server I will come back more often because of the food and because of her.

Cocktails are the only good thing about this place. Pizzas used to be really tasty (8-10 years ago), but now very average. Music is way too loud for a Thursday night. Also service charge is running at about 18%. I had to calculate it myself as the % is not stated on the bill. Sneaky! Don’t bother with this place. Loads of better options in the local area. Also looking at reviews here. Most are fake. Anyone who works in hospitality knows reviews with staff names on are fake. As the manager will be offering 1 staff member a reward for most good reviews mentioning their name!

Went on a Friday night - first time for many years. Food ok but overpriced, the space is as good as ever, staff just about ok, but what’s up with the music???? Poor quality sound system and way way too loud thudding house in a space that's always been very echoey. Every table around us were leaning up close to hear each other. We were a table of 10 and you could only hear the people next to you. One of the staff seemed to be enjoying it - I don’t think anyone else was. Our waiter couldn’t hear our orders. And before the management put it down to age …..the place was a third full 8pm on a Friday and there are flyers in the loo offering discounts to under 30s. So it’s clearly not working.

This was a great time—we had a beer and a wine while we waited at the bar for a pizza to go and Sree made the dining experience so memorable. He was so lovely and accommodating and took a great photo of us that we'll never forget! Because of him I would recommend Pizza East to all of my friends and we will definitely come back here next time we're in London. Also, we are from New York so we know good pizza.

Was looking for something quick and close to my hotel and Pizza East hit the spot. Pizza was quite good and in line with what I’d expect to pay in Shoreditch. I sat at the bar as I was on my own and the bartender (Seem) was great! Pleasant, attentive etc. would definitely go back.

Brought my girlfriend here a couple days ago, the food was amazing, and the whole team in general was amazing. I believe it was armonela who served me at the bar and made sure that we had a good experience and enjoyed our lovely cocktails.

We stopped in for a couple of drinks prior to a dinner reservation nearby. Sree was our bartender and he did a great job, so friendly and made great drinks. The pizza looked delicious, I wish we had more time in London to come by here another day and try the food.

Apart from the decent service, this is the most outrageously overpriced pizza on this side of the hemisphere. £60 quid for a margherita, a Summer Dream (more like nightmare), a Guinness and a peroni and bottle of water (£6.50 daylight robbery). I mean, I get inflation, I get it’s Shoreditch but I also know when I’m being fleeced. Tremendously overpriced for very average pizza. Waitress was very kind though.

Sree was an awesome bartender & server. He made the perfect aperol spritz and was attentive and very approachable. Highly recommend sitting at the bar in order to be served by Sree.

We had dinner there and everything was very delicious. We have tried the Ndaju pizza, vodka rigatoni and Caesar salad. For dessert we had a salted caramel ice cream, Nadia served us wonderfully, a magnificent waitress and very friendly

I’ve been here so many times, it’s a great place for any occasion. I’ve been twice within this month, once for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for dinner with friends. The food is tasty, waiters are helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice, we went last night and was served by Dani (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong hun xx) she’s a delight, banging sense of humour. Thank you for having us, be back soon :) oh and the fungi truffle pizza and GFC dip - I would sell my liver for it

We chose this pizzeria by chance before taking the train back to the airport and after a pleasant stroll through the typical streets of the East End. Excellent pizzas but above all we appreciated the impeccable service and the kindness of the adorable Nadia. Thanks for the ristretto!

Overpriced for what it is. I paid £15.50 (not including service charge) for this tiny thing with barely any toppings lmao. Like what the heck. And the taste was just fine. Nothing special. Honestly you can find pizza that tastes the same literally anywhere else in the area. Pizza Union/Rudy’s/Pizza Pilgrims literally anywhere and for a better price.

Me and my group did not have a good experience here because our waiter was rude to us and kept messing up our orders. She also was basically whispering so it was impossible to hear what she was saying. We did really not like her attitude. The rest of the staff was amazing, but our experience was ruined by the waiter. Food was good but nothing amazing, a bit pricey.

Came here regularly with my boyfriend when we lived in London and back tonight, ten year later with him and 2 kids visiting from Chicago. Thanks Nadia for a great experience.
