Tasty Pizza and salad but they automatically applied 20% service charge to the bill with no option to change (unless you ask) which is not acceptable

I had a meal with a few friends. The pizza was nice, it was a Smoke & Ham pizza, although I must say not impress it came fully loaded with chillies and I don't remember seeing chilli warning in the menu. The service was OK, the place was very busy so it wasn't very fast, but also not too slow. The waiters were generally very nice. And finally 3 stars for the atmosphere, sorry. They had the music way too loud for a restaurant so you could barely listen to each other. I get Shoreditch is an area with a lot of night life, but this is a restaurant, not a disco. I wouldn't advice coming here if you want to have a meaningful conversation with your friends.

Unfortunately if you have allergies (especially nuts) I wouldn’t advise eating here. As nice as the food is, they don’t advise you properly that their deserts contain nuts and then despite sharing your allergies, they serve the food and then offer to order and ambulance after you’ve eaten… not service expected.

Had the best quality provided and the service provided by Alex is way and beyond the any ones else...been in a loads of Gordon's places and each time I've been all of them, somehow Alex been working there...he is so professional, attentive hard working person, a real asset and he remembered even my favourite drink. Hopefully he is appreciated and recognised for his excellence in Gordon's standards...millions of thanks Alex for everything you do!!!!

The senior waiters definitely earned their tips with very smooth, courteous service. I recommend the 'doughnut' dessert but share it as it is huge! Nice mellow background music for a Sunday afternoon in a loft-chique setting.

This resto-bar knows how to satisfy! PizzaEast serves up amazing pizzas with a perfect balance of flavor and texture Sree is an outstanding bartender, creating both classic and innovative drinks with flair. Always attentive and personable, Sree makes you feel like a regular on your first visit!

The pizza is bigger than the plates? Difficult to cut without the food making several contacts with the table. There was a pit still inside one of the olives on the pizza that nearly took my tooth out. It's a big establishment that wasn't nearly full, clearly understaffed as the (very kind) waiters could be seen frantically rushing around for the duration of our meal. Id suggest hire more people. Otherwise decent enough for a quick pizza pitstop, if you're happy to muscle your way to attention to order food. Good music.

Food and drinks ok. Kids eat for free on weekdays but they did try to charge us. When I made a comment once we received the bill, they immediately wanted to reimburse, but once again they tried to reimburse one kid only instead of two. Wont come here again, you expect people to be honest versus making additional tips on your back.

The music is horrible. So loud, it’s like being in a cheap club. Barely able to speak to anyone on your table due to it. They also billed us for a beer they never brought (£9) Put ice in my whiskey (x2 at £11) and then instead of pouring another just removed the ice and topped it up. Also forgot to bring our lasagne and had to ask for it. Annoyingly as we were a group of 8 the guy paying didn’t realise this issues. So he was down £31 for no reason. Never going here again. Shame the pizza was quite nice.

Food quality, preparation, service, and presentation all has gone down hill. Once a great pizza establishment, now it tastes of the stale, chewy, floppy crust of a 2 day old dominoes. Portion size has diminished as well. Thanks private equity!!!

Pizza was very dry so didn’t enjoy and I got Mushroom pizza which is usually a winner. Service was quick at least. Nice dim lights but too loud to hear others talking.
