The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Pre booked table 7, the table wasn't ready on arrival. Staff were unfriendly, menus thrown in a heap on the table. Large party so wanted to split the bill by item, staff disputed payment and attempted to overcharge. Even when they admitted fault they weren't apologetic and didn't offer to refund the difference. Otherwise the food was good. Shame about the service.

Although my order from Uber Eats was very disappointing, I want to change my review to a positive one! I called up Zizzi this morning, and the manager on shift (I am so sorry I don’t remember her name) couldn’t apologise enough. She gave me a remake of the order, and a free dessert! The food from the remake was amazing. The issue was handled so professionally, and the manager was very kind. So thank you for rectifying this x

Really special Italian place in London! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was adorable, and the food was really great. The polenta chips in particular as well as the bucatini gorgonzola were so nice, and I loved the desserts too! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Wow, what a place..... Book for 7pm, we were early 6.30 & the restaurant got us seated which was very nice of them. Service was really good, although 1 server was attending us, each other server would politely ask if we needed anything, nothing pushy, never feeling rushed. The food was great & the portions sizes i felt were just right.. Keep it up, and we will return for sure

The Ask chain is usually a reliable bet for a mid-priced Italian meal… but not the branch in Great Malvern. Having booked for an early evening meal (we have small children) before a pantomime at the local theatre, our party of eight arrived bang on time. After 5 minutes looking for someone to seat us (there was no one on the front desk), we entered the main restaurant and asked a waitress for our table. She looked around the restaurant and then asked a male colleague, who told us that they couldn’t seat us because another party “has been here since lunchtime and haven’t left”!!! With no assistance forthcoming, we spent a further 5 minutes Googling alternatives and struck lucky with the nearby ‘Yak and Yeti’, who couldn’t have been more accommodating. I appreciate that around Christmas venues are often busy - perhaps there were issues with being short-handed. However, this was not the right way to treat a family party of 8 with small kids and a booking. “Give us ten minutes, we’ll get you a table” would have been the right way to handle this.

Excellent food and drink choices to suit all our party of 8. Service was good at a very busy time of the day, with good prices too.

Tuvimos una cálida bienvenida encantadora a la llegada y llevado directamente a nuestra mesa. El pedido de bebidas se tomó rápidamente y las bebidas llegaron igual de rápido. El personal con el que tratamos era encantador y amable y la señora que atendió a nuestra mesa era muy amable, servicial y tenía un buen sentido del humor. No esperábamos mucho tiempo por la comida y cuando llegó, no nos decepcionó en absoluto. Toda la comida que vino era al rojo vivo, fresco y sabroso. También tuvimos una inyección de violonchelo de limón gratis, y los fardos que venían con el tiramisú era precioso. Espero visitar de nuevo en el Año Nuevo.

The sqiuid and bruschetta starters were a bit bland, But mains of Tuscan Sausage and prawn pasta were both very good. The salted caramel chocolate bar was a bit bizarre like a confectionery sweet, which was difficult to cut with a blob of cream. The staff were friendly enough, after a rather brusk greeting from the manager, possibly?

Pros: Nice staff + Americana Hot Pizza was good + Penne Capri was okay Cons: I was expecting Penne Capri sauce to be more creamy

Came here on a date and it couldn't have been better staff where amazing the place is beautifully well kept and stunning interior and the food was out of this world if I could give it 6 stars I would 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
