My friend and I came for tea here on a Friday night, we had prebooked and was shown to our table straight away & offered drinks promptly. We ordered from the happy hour menu - spicy prawn / goats cheese starters and a bbq pizza / pollo pizza main with an extra side of chips to share. Food was lovely, arrived quickly and the staff were on the ball with service. Would definitely recommend! Only dislike was that it was a little cramped due to the table layout and the other tables were rather loud (which can’t be helped by the staff or service).

Huge Menu Choice..... Huge Helpings too. Ensure You are truly hungry !!!! The quality is good. I struggled to decide what to have as there were so many delights on the list. Would gladly recommend.

Lovely food service excellent as usual couldn't fault anything

Met friends for lunch and sat outside as it was a lovely day. The waiter was friendly and chatty and made our meal very enjoyable. Will definitely recommend here and will certainly come back ❤️

This was once my favourite eatery in the North East but the high standards it was known for and the quality of food have long seen better days. Ordered my favourites from times gone by and was presented with watery soup and inedible pasta, so bad in fact that after one spoonful it was returned to the kitchen. The pasta sauce was watery and blanketed in salt as to make it totally inedible and the manager responded with the excuse ‘we sometimes make mistakes’. He really couldn’t care and what once was the best Italian restaurant in Darlington with outstanding service is pretty much ‘Joe’s Cafe’ level of garbage now. Sad to see such decline, beforehand it was such good food for so little money and now you get exactly what you pay for. My advice would be to go to a real Italian restaurant as Uno Momento used to be and get real Italian food that is cooked by someone who can actually cook.

Went for my daughter’s Birthday . It was packed . The noise was unbelievable loud . You couldn’t talk to one another . Tables were sticky . There were children screaming and our ears were ringing it was so loud . Tables are very close together . The food is beautiful. Just a shame the atmosphere put us off .

Waited 40 minutes before anyone took order starters were ok but mains were terrible calzone was raw onion and packet ham nothing like it shud be we had a large table and 1 meal did not arrive with others and they had to wait wine was very low alcohol and cost a fortune so disappointing will not go back

Food was lovely, apart from they forgot parts to it and never offered seasonings like they used to. Even when I asked for black pepper etc they said they would return and didn't. Service was slow compared to what it used to be to. Felt we waited too long in-between courses and noone asked if we would like refills on drinks, we kept having to shout someone over. It was far too slow for young children as we found out, too long waiting for anything!

Quality ingredients usually make their very good and tasty pizza! Unfortunately today pizzas were undercooked so not as good as usual when we received it! Still nice and warm and good delivery service, just hope that in the future pizza baking Quality override quick delivery on busy days!

The dough was soft and chewy, but the cheese was a bit disappointing - the tartness of the Marinara sauce came through too easily. The pepperoni was good but I would have preferred it more done and slightly thinner. The potato wedges were too thick and not a replacement for chips - wish a garlic dip came as standard and I thought I asked for one but didn't insist when I received it. When I phoned up to order, the menu differed completely from what was offered on UberEats so shame on them for not working with the restaurant in a more professional manner. The service was impeccable, with 2 pizzas and wedges ready in 15 mins, and the waiting staff were really polite.

Previous reviewers must honestly be on glue with outlandish comments such as best Italian food in uk etc. honestly come off it. Lovely welcome, friendly pleasant staff, then it all went wrong, inside is so loud and think it’s probably table after table competing to be heard over the random music what plays overhead, too many people due to poorly laid out tables, staff are all over the floor doing best they can. Food was absolutely shocking, we had one pasta dish where the mince was clearly old it could have been easy 3/4 days old. Another dish was swimming in oil which had split the sauce. Pizza was passable, chips were great. Overall experience was a disaster and I would have taken just as much pleasure with a m and s ready meal and one of there pizzas for less than £10 instead of £70. Would not return and this is me trying to be fair in terms of a review. It wasn’t a bad night etc this is how it is.

Lovely lunch sitting in the outside area. Service was very good and Panini lunch was lovely, especially the home made wedges. What was really disappointing was paying £2.95 for a large blackcurrent cordial with tap water. The tap water was free so that is a huge mark up on a splash of cordial. This really ended our nice lunch on a bad note.

Service very slow had a long wait and food was not to normal standard I ordered last night and was very disappointed ordered pasta with a creamy sauce with buffalo cheese and tomatoes that is so not what I got I paid £8 for plain pasta 😫 will not be going back when I phoned them they said thats what I ordered it doesn't say plain pasta on my receipt

Mediocre. Pizza and bruschetta were nice. Chips need soaking a bit longer and cooking in a different oil to make them fluffier and tastier. Diane sauce tastes bland. Had better Italian meals in Darlo but is an ok value for money.

Arrived 70 mins after the expected delivery time pizza was cold, Parmo was Luke warm, once food was reheated it tasted really nice

Pre-booked birthday celebration. Hugely disappointing wait time to place order (45+ mins), only to be told after 80 mins that our order hadn't "gone through" and we had to re-order. Started were eventually served after 90 mins and then we re-ordered out mains as starters were being served. Mains arrived after 2 hours, with an additional wait for one meal of a further 5 mins. The young chap and lady servers were faultless but the manager full of poor excuses. Food very average. We will NOT be returning. Other tables walking out and not paying fully for meals says it all.

Just went in on the off-chance. I had a huge pizza with plenty left. Waiter was very good and helped my GF/non-Dairy wife find a nice pasta.

A pleasant surprise. A lovely loud Italian restaurant. Service was attentive & unobtrusive. I wasn't overly fond of my 1st choice of main course, the head waiter was lovely, he suggested a change at no extra charge, which was greatly appreciated. Portions are huge! Be prepared for a carb overload.

Food was of a high quality. I had the Calamari for starters and then a BBQ chicken Pizza and Spaghetti bolognaise for mains was well presented cooked to a high standard and served promptly. The staff are friendly and very accommodating

Great food, good prices, only downside it is a little cramped in the restaurant, we often get put on a small 2 person table and there small, even when it's not busy 😉

Disgusting, almost like microwave meal, will never ever use their delivery service again! All meals went in the bin, refund wanted!!! Not at all the same as the food from the restaurant!!!

Excellent. Haven't got a single complaint! Food was great, service even better. Great value for money. I even broke my record and gave a 20%+ tip - must have been the good wine! Toilets spotless. Everyone looked happy with their food and all quick to be delivered. I only gave a 4 for atmosphere. Doesn't bother me at all but some might be offput by crying babies but this was a weekday lunchtime.

Awesome pizza and great value for money! Starter and huge pizza were only £12.95. The bolognese pizza was so delicious. Wait staff is very sweet and friendly. Definitely going back!

Popped in today June 6th with my partner, first time in here and will not be the last. Service was good & friendly, food came out quick but not too quick & I must say it was bloody lovely.

My husband said the order was very late, the driver said he was the only one and said not to bother ordering in future which we won't.

The starters were great the low review is for the main were bland and the time before that the desserts were frozen in the middle.

The meals were lovely, definitely recommend the chicken with peppercorn sauce. The restaurant staff were fabulous and friendly. The kids meal was about £8 and it was a full pizza, drink and desert. They loved it.

Went on Friday with 5 friends and all 6 of our meals were delicious. In fact it was that good I went again Saturday! The fillet steak was amazing. Also fantastic service from Ibi - thank you ☺️

Love this place, I go everytime I'm in Darlington. Good value, nice food, great staff.

Massive portions. Our son ordered garlic bread and a pizza. He was so full he took half of the pizza home. He's an 18 year old, 6ft 5 lad, and we can pack food away. Indeed, we find it difficult to fill him. He couldn't finish it. And didn't eat breakfast in the morning. . It was tasty too. Restaurant was busy. Lots of take away boxes seen on the way out. Enough said.

Estimated delivery was 30-45 minutes but was then extended to 1 hour and 35 to 1 hour and 55 minutes. I phoned to chase up the order due to 2 children getting very hungry. The man I spoke to was polite but was told that the food hadn’t even made it out for delivery yet. Spent just over £50 and was very disappointed in delivery time and quality so unfortunately, I wouldn’t be ordering again.

Great place for a meal. The food was very tasty. Good value for money. Friendly staffs. Cannot fault and we will certainly be back.

Several of us came for lunch on Easter Sunday, booked in advance. Seared in the front window downstairs. Lots of staff who were friendly and helpful. Tje food ce quickly and was absolutely beautiful. Cooked to perfection, portion size was large and we all left some. Great value and great food. 👍

Great food at great prices! Food was lovely and service was great well done!! Gluten free pasta was lovely , which is why we ate here. Pizza’s are huge you could share between two.

This place is an insult to Italian cuisine. I had the goats cheese and halloumi to start with, which wasn't horrendous. My partner had tomato soup which had a metallic taste, and some strange tasting stringy cheese inside. My partner tried some but couldn't carry on and asked for it to be taken away as the smell was making her nauseous. Credit to the waiter, as he said he wouldn't charge us for the soup and he didn't. I had the lasagna for a main course and my partner had a pizza. She said the pizza was edible in comparison to the soup. My lasagna was some disgusting slop. I am not a great cook, however I could make a lasagna 10 times better than this, with my eyes closed and standing on one leg. Firstly there was some very thick stringy cheese on top, the type that you have to chew a hundred times over if you don't want to choke on it, and underneath, rather than pasta sheets there was a sloppy liquid with bits of mince and god knows what else. I lived in Italy a while, and they take their food very seriously, and if I took them to this restaurant, they would either role on the floor laughing or scream in anger at the absolute cheek of calling this Italian food. I left this restaurant £30.00 short and very very hungry.

Waited an hour for 2 main courses have thertre tickets. This is the second time this has happened. Not good enough other people have come in well after us and been served.

A little treat for the grandchildren turned out to be a big disappointment. Arrived at 5.15 and was in well over 2 hours for a basic 3 courses of pizza, pasta and ice cream!. Served by a very surly male waiter then waited over 20 mins for a garlic bread starter, waited another 30 minutes for a bland pizza and pasta and waited another 25mins for the children's ice creams!. Politely asked about the ice cream to 3 different members of staff and eventually told because it was busy the kitchen staff were refusing to serve it......Really!. Complained about the service on payment and the surly waiter responded by saying if you want Fast Food go take them to Mcdonalds. In truth I wish we had done that.

All the food was smashed up the toppings where off the pizza when it came and all in the corner of the box and the pasta was leaking out the bent box, also was late

One of our favourite family places to eat. Great food, attentive service and lovely home cooked food offering great value for money. We called here in the off chance we could grab a table in a Friday night. We were shown to our table, shortly followed by our drinks. Staters arrived quickly and were deliciously hot and a huge portion size…… a round pizza style garlic bread that was hanging off the plate! Great for sharing 😉 Mains arrived although mine was only like warm and Hubby’s were hot. We sent mine back and an instant apology was made. A fresh new plate was presented with piping hot food. Cannot fault the service, delicious food or value for money.

We ordered out food to be delivered at 10pm as we were both traveling home from work and we're due to get home at 20 to our ring door bell alert told us our food had arrived 40 minutes before it was due and the restaurant wasn't answering my calls so disappointed

We had a good experience, the service was very efficient even though there was lots of people the atmosphere was great for a Saturday lunch time. The food was good calamari very good very tasty burger and a great tuna panini . One problem was that neither of the two toilet doors would lock in the ladies toilets staff were very friendly

Came here early on a Saturday lunch time. Quite surprised how many people were already in having a meal. Quick and friendly service with drinks arriving soon after ordering and food following. Two pizza's one pepperoni and one chicken. Very large and good value for the price. Would definitely come again. 5*

We were recommended this restaurant by a manager in Pizza Hut (Hartlepool) and he definitely didn’t let us down. The service was delivered with professionalism and in a friendly manner that actually made you feel like you were eating with family. The food was cooked to a high standard and tasted absolutely amazing, plenty to choose from and a bill that couldn’t break the bank. We stopped off on our way to a show, and were very glad we did, we will definitely be back next time we’re in the North East

Service was slow and not very attentive, just wish the staff were more bothered about service than smoking. You’d think this time of year they need as much custom as possible but you won’t get it like this.

Came for a bite during a shopping trip. Partners calzone was so big it turned heads lol! And it was awesome. Youngest had carbonara which she enjoyed. I had a Parma pasta combo. My Parmo was really really good and I love the chips. I didn’t enjoy the pasta as much as last time, it was very peppery (I’ve had it better before) I still enjoyed it. Our starters were good too. Just take care with understanding the specials, I’d misunderstood that my starter was not included whilst the others at the table were. When I questioned the bill at the end I was met with real attitude. Comments such as well the order is clear, if you were unsure you should have asked, really aren’t helpful when I didn’t know at the time I’d misunderstood the offer. I did not appreciate the comment, well it’s on £1.25 (Or so) different when actually it was nearer £5. This just put a bit of a dampener on our experience, there was no need to be so rude.

I had a very good experience here I thought the food was lovely big portion sizes which is great also the staff were lovely and polite and very likeable people I would definitely go there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good resteraunt.

My partner and I walked in at lunch time and were immediately seated with no waiting. We were served straight away and our starters were served promptly. Soon after, our mains arrived. I ordered a hot calzone and I received ham and mushroom but this was quickly rectified by the waiter who apologised and brought the correct one out. The was a lot to choose from on the menu and the food tastes good. And at 2 courses for £12.95 was extremely good value.

Be sure to ask for no black pepper on your food unless you like your food loaded with it. Ordered carbonara for my son and I and we could hardly eat it for the amount of black pepper on it, no where on the menu does it state that it comes with copious amounts of black pepper, it certainly never used to. We called the server over who told us that's how it comes 🤷‍♀️ and that was it. Then a male server came 20mins later to take our bowls away and asked was something wrong to which we told him that the amount of balck pepper was unbearable and he offered us new ones to take away but we didn't take him up on this off and were still charged full price.

I regret to inform you that our recent visit to Uno Momento was nothing short of a culinary disaster. The food served last night not only lacked flavor and quality, but it also resulted in a severe case of food poisoning for our party. This experience has left us utterly dissatisfied and questioning the hygiene standards of your establishment. We strongly advise against dining at Uno Momento and hope that others can avoid the unpleasant consequences we endured.

The food wasn't great, they also the garnish was unsuitable, they served lasagne with potato wedges another dish of king prawns came with rice and potatoe and my chicken with mushrooms also potatoe wedges but one was rotten. Service was friendly, prices on the high end considering the location.

Have eaten here on many occasions without any issues until a recent visit when we ordered omelettes which were very oily and overcooked. Gave the benefit of the doubt and made another visit ordering pizzas which were cold, tasteless and devoid of topping. For £10.00 each they are really poor value for money. All in all a bad experience and we won't be returning.
