Extremely filling and good quality especially for the price

We love coming to Salisbury Zizzi! Paula is our favourite server and she always take such good care of us. The food is delicious.

We are sad to give this review as we love visiting the restaurant but on Sat evening the staff were just too busy. We stood waiting at the door with no acknowledgement of our presence. In the end we were shown to our table but waited at least 20 mins to be served. Could not fault the food it was delicious. Then couldn't pay the bill as the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect to the waitresses mobile terminal.

The service was lovely, as usual. Unfortunately mine and my friend's pizzas were.burnt at the edges, making the crusts inedible. The whole pizza was crunchier than we would have liked. But I have to say that this isn't the usual quality at this restaurant.

Great starter and pizzas! One of the pizzas came to the table with incorrect toppings and was quickly replaced! Staff were very nice!

My friends and I ate here for my birthday celebrations a week ago. The food was amazing but sadly the waitress was possibly the RUDEST person I’ve ever had the misfortune to served by. Her general attitude and service was less than extremely poor and actually put a dampener on the night. It’s a shame the the kitchen staff were let down so badly by the waiting staff and I can only hope that our large tip was shared with them. I wouldn’t visit again if this member of staff was working.

Great food, friendly staff, a little noisy due to some ongoing work, but it wasn't too bad.

Wasn’t great. Starters were ok. Ordered our mains, and they lacked ingredient for my pizza. But instead of telling me that they’d run out of the ingredient they served the pizza without it. When I enquired that something wasn’t right I was factually informed of the omission, as if I should accept it, rather than let me know beforehand so I could change my order. My mint tea was also full of brown leaves. I would’ve been fine had they told me before. We didn’t feel like there was any real focus on the customers aside from having to serve them because it’s the job.

Always have a great experience at Zizzi Salisbury. The staff is very welcoming and friendly that will do their best to accommodate any request. The food is delicious and good portions, specially the kids meals. The atmosphere is very nice and family friendly. Would strongly recommend.

I visited Zizzi on Tuesday after a hectic day. The staff were great, helpful, and pleasant, which was just what I needed. As I was looking for something smaller to eat, the assistant manager Pavla, who served me, recommended Zizzi's special guest dish: the White Garlic and Pesto Bombe, which was just perfect! Thank you very much 😊 I can recommend to everyone !

Good food, if not a bit pricy. Main issue was the lack of sound proofing in the restaurant. With music and a light level of conversation you can hardly hear the person opposite which slightly spoilt the meal for us both.

Felt like we were not welcome. We had £5 offer for a pizza. And our friend had buy one get ond free. So sat together as we just bumped into each other up the road. Didn't realise to get the offers you cant sit together. So i said to the lady we would sit on a separate table. She said that was not possible because we came in together. Ater a bit of a chat and her not understanding what we were trying to do. she said we could sit together. So all good. Until she asked what drinks we are having. We didn't want one. So she was not to happy. Then said what starters are we having. We didn't want one. She was not happy at all. Made us very angry now as we felt like we dont earn enough money to eat in the place. We only wanted a pizza as we were off out for my birthday dinner in the evening. Then i went to pay for my £5 pizza x 2 = £10. Bill was £13.95. As she used the our offer on our friends. She couldn't work it out. Unreal its simple. Made me feel very uncomfortable in more than one way. I feel that people on a budget would feel very uncomfortable indeed. If zizzi doesn't wont the lower class in font do offers. Its not about the money its the principle.

Terrible experience.. food cold, chips not cooked and order not written down and therefore not delivered to requirements. Gluten free pizza just had cooked chicken placed on top of a cold, greasy base. Avoid!

delivery driver had 2 delivery's. ours was 25mins after leaving , it's a 5min drive . it was cold so sent back ... reputable restaurants need to make sure the drivers are doing 1 drop . they are partly responsible for this . just eat also need to sort this out .

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and great with special dietary requirements. They were very diligent about ensuring I knew all the gluten free choices. I ate with 3 friends and enjoyed a 3 course meal. We were not rushed and felt very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely experience. I am sure I will look to return here again.

Not a terrible experience. I had the salmon and avocado salad for main and although it was a large plateful, it was somewhat tasteless and a little bit sad. The dessert however was the saving grace because their zillionaire fudge cake is vegan and delicious. The atmosphere was not great and the poor staff felt rushed off their feet.

I'm a regular visitor to the Salisbury Zizzi restaurant and I'm always very happy with my experiences! Staff and management are friendly, chatty and welcoming. Food is tasty and the menu regular updated, which keeps things interesting! The restaurant is clean and the service is quick - no long wait times for food! Highly recommend Salisbury Zizzi!

When we stept inside, Pavla rushed to welcome us with a bright smile as she was the only waiter in the restaurant at the moment. She then introduced us the menu and recomanded the best choices. As it's the first time when we eat at Zizzi, we didn't know what to chose but she was very helpful! The food was amazing and the cocktails she prepared even better! For sure we will come back!

Turned up with my other half for an early dinner. Restaurant was virtually empty..but no, our request for a quieter table, in a corner somewhere, was turned down due to the fact such tables were seating 4 or more..and there were lots of bookings...really? I didn't see any 'reserved' signs on any tables. Onto the food....one word to describe both our dishes..BLAND....but, I guess, what can you expect from a chain? Really, it all went through the blander and didn't stand out in any shape or form. And finally, the piece de resistance....the automaton that was our waiting person came over with a mobile phone, with details of our bill. He explained the app and the fact it was all on a sliding scale....as far as the tip was concerned...turn the slider left or right and you can immediately see your bill going further through the roof...or not, as the case may be. Finally he pointed out the button that did away with a tip...so I hit that. My big issue with this kind of approach is having a waiting person standing over you pointing all this stuff out...how many people feel intimidated by by this approach..and give in and pay a tip for, basically, someone just doing their job? Still, if you're into this kind of dining experience - fill your boots.

The way the food was packaged, it arrived leaking, the pizza was completely stuck to the box. The drinks were on top of the cardboard boxes, so everything was smashed. Absolutely unacceptable.

Fine for a bite to eat. Service was slow but the pizza was pizza.

Good points: Lovely decoration, pleasant atmosphere. The staff seemed friendly. The starter and pudding were great. Toilets are clean, tidy and hand wash etc are lovely. Lovely 'sticky pig' pizza. Bad points: Slow service, waited 40 minutes between starters and main, with one dish then incorrect, this was subsequently taken off the bill as a non prompted good will gesture. The mushroom risotto was pretty basic, not bad, but nothing too good either. The major concerning observation was that takeaway orders seem to be prioritised over dine in orders, the queue of takeaway collection drivers by the front door could be seen as both a blessing (it's popular) and a curse (too much work, not enough staff). Would I recommend this restaurant, yes but it would be fantastic if these creases were ironed out.

Lunchtime off the cuff . Love the pizza, our favourite wine Nero d' vola and a great pud each. Always good food.

I have always had a good experience at Zizzis but this was far the worst. Firstly there was only one member of staff serving and she was quite short with us. Not her fault she was under pressure. We both ordered the Sea Bass which I’m assuming was deep fried as it certainly didn’t look grilled. Underneath the fish was a selection of mushy vegetables in a pool of water. The potatoes served with it were over cooked. We didn’t bother to complain as we felt it would be a waste of time given the pressure of the server.

Went to use a tesco voucher. We shared a calamari starter. The aioli was v good but the calamari looked aneamic and was a bit rubbery. A vegetarian lasagne and a harissa prawn fresco pizza were both very good. The St Clair savvy and a sicilian Nero d' Avola exceeded expectations. Service was good and the place was busy. May visit again and spend real money 💰

Service by the waitresses was great. Happy, helpful and professional. Problem for me was the food. Not sure if the kitchen forgot mine but everyone else in our group had pretty much finished when mine arrived. When everyone else is eating and then the manager (?) asks what you ordered, you know there's likely to be trouble. Everyone else ordered a pizza, and their food looked great, and they liked it. Mine I think was microwaved. Pasta was sloppy, sauce was kinda like a mush with too many strong flavours competing with each other, trying not to be over powered by parmassan. Left me wishing I had a pizza. I won't be returning if the choice is up to me for the group. I gave 3 stars instead of one or two because the waitresses were pleasant and the rest of the group didn't seem unhappy,

We ate early before going to the theatre and were a bit unfortunate that there was a family group with noisy boisterous children there at the same time as us. There was some veggie choice but not loads. My main (lentil ragu) had a nice flavour but wasn't very exciting (maybe poor choice on my part) hiMy partner enjoyed his (sea bass). The desserts were very rich but tasty. The staff were attentive.

Booked Zizzi’s for my 40th birthday meal as I saw they catered for large numbers. Couldn’t be further from the truth! We were a table of 20 who had all pre ordered to help the restaurant out. After being seated it took 35 minutes before even being offered a drink. The service was so bad, we had one waitress looking after our whole table. She was so rude, to the extent where she rolled her eyes at a few of my guest when they tried to order more drinks. Our pre ordered starters took an hour and a half to come out, just shocking! 6 of the pre ordered mains were unavailable and when those who had to re order did so they were then charged more if the new choice was more expensive than what they’d ordered. The customer care was horrendous. It took over half an hour just to try to pay for the end bill. We were then told we still owed £109, after saying we weren’t paying it the waitress went off and came back to say it’s actually £25! No body seemed to know what they were doing. Absolutely sickens me to know we paid over £900 for the worst meal I’d ever had. I have emailed the head office and explained everything, I’ve told them I don’t want anything in return as I’d never set foot in one of their restaurants again but I haven’t heard anything back. No wonder things are so bad when the head office can’t even be bothered to reply to a complaint.

Great meal here and service is very good.

Pretty disappointing. Seemed to be really struggling on a Saturday lunchtime. They didn’t seem to have enough staff on. The mains came before the starter and we needed to chase them for dessert after 15 mins. There wasn’t a consistent server for us, hence no one really checked that we had our food etc and we had try and get attention a number of times.

Seabass on warm salad was extremely tasty , Sticky pig pizza was huge . Staff were very attentive.

First time coming here and won't be the last. Great food and staff were all lovely and final bill seamed very reasonable.thankyou Zizzi for great dining experience

Excellent meal. I don’t often frequent chain restaurants. I was surprised by the extensive and interesting menu. I was further surprised by the quality which was top drawer. Arguably the best lasagne I’ve ever had. Kids meals were unbelievably good value too. Super impressed, thank you.

Came in for a late lunch, took advantage of the £26 3 course deal, tasty and felt very fully after we left, bit of a mistake while ordering so had to wait for my Aunties order but didn’t spoil anything, it’s not the best italian and a chain but nice for a long late lunch

Visited 3/2/24. We hadn't booked but were still found a table. A large "works do" was in progress and the restaurant was packed. We thought we were going to have to wait for service and food it was that busy. How wrong we were! Excellent service despite the young woman telling us she had only been working there a week. Good food, couldn't fault to be honest!

Pizza and chips tasted like it was heated up after sitting there for 3 days

Lovely food and our server Ethan was so kind, attentive and friendly. The girl server with dark blonde hair and good eyeliner was also really friendly and helpful.

Broad selection of Italian style dishes to suit different tastes and needs. The best information on food allergies I've seen anywhere with a folder showing each dish's details. 7 Staff were friendly and attentive. We weren't rushed and were able take our meal at our own pace. Decor is modern rustic and is well maintained.

Had a Calzone recently very nice except forvthe very top that was burnt 2-3 inches cut it off all good. Cider was nice as well.

Earlier, I'm not sure when, and all sensation of time and space has left me, so futile has perception become, we visited a building in a nearby urbanisation. The door was open, and we were invited to sit, having used the internet beforehand to allocate such a provision for ourselves, that being our family of four. Our intention had been to find sustenance here, of an Italian nature. Who knows what it was that we had. We started by reading some words on shiny paper and then saying some of these words to a person who seemed interested but I don't think was. Shortly thereafter a couple of dishes of assorted matter were delivered, the larger of which went away again soon, as it inadvertently had animal on it, one of our group having used a different set of words to request a dish than the ones used for what arrived. One of the wandering around people looked sad. Time elapsed, as it so often does, and containers came, with no discernible expectation that the contents were edible or otherwise, and no interest from any of the container dispersal team either way. At one point I mentioned that my cutlery might as well stay between container schedules as it was only me that was planning on using it, although that led to those being the only ones that were changed. A mushy texture was observed from an unexpected source, which led to an unnecessarily urgent swap out. The usurping container was tried by all and we noted that our common experience was that it had temperature as a primary characteristic. Eventually we gave them some money and left.

Very busy on the day we were there so it took a while to get attention from the staff, but other than that the service and food was excellent and once ordered the food arrived promptly despite the restaurant being full.

Pizza could have been warmer and was not sliced, but still full of flavour and tasty.

Ordered the other day, wonderful. Since then something awful has happened to the cook, someone needs to check on them. Pretty sure you microwaved the chips today, they were horrific. Missing bits of other dishes. Just all round awful. Never ordering again as you have my money and I have something from a saw movie. Just check in on the cook, they are in pain and taking it out on the world.

Food was just about warm and some of the food looked like it had been heavy handed, messy in the boxes.

Absolutely appalling. My father had booked a table for the family for an early dinner prior to the pantomime. He had thought it odd when they hadn't asked for his name but he was told it was fine as they had his number. We arrived and were told we didn't have a booking. The guy serving us had a terrible attitude - really couldn't have cared less. He disappeared and finally appeared to say there was nothing they could do. No apology or offer to help or a voucher to encourage us to come back. Was absolutely disgusted with the lack of accountability that they had screwed up the booking. We left the restaurant and after a stressful 15 minutes of frantic Googling and phoning, we managed to secure an immediate table in Cosy Club where the service was a polar opposite to that experienced at Zizzi. So, go to Cosy Club instead!

The Xmas meal was really good, and very good service. It was quick.

We went to Zizzi as part of a large group celebrating a family birthday. We normally go to Prezzo or Wildwood, won't be going back to Zizzi in a hurry.... Customer service was poor - staff were slow and the waiter bringing drinks asked who had "the strawberry drink" or the "softtails". He clearly had not learnt the drinks menu. Didn't want to take payment at the end of the meal (more below). They didn't remember who had ordered waht, it was choatic and felt stressful rather than welcoming. Food - distinctly average. My husband had the "tripple pepperoni" would have hated to see a "single pepperoni", very sparse! Two of the guests had the risotto, the rice was hard and there was loads of liquid in the bowl which hadn't been absorbed. For the money it was poor value and should have been cooked properly. Payment - my sister left before we had dessert to take my elderly mother home. She gave me cash to cover the cost of 4 of the party - not an insignificant amount. When the time came to pay I was told cash was not accepted at Zizzi and apparently there was a sign on the froint door. This would be the front door that was wide open against the wall with people in front of it because there was a long queue waiting for our table to be ready! Then we were told that staff wouldn't take payment, that we had to use an app if we we wanted to pay individually. I loaded up the food and drinks from the 4 people plus my husband and I, then the app crashed, this happened a couple of times and after that I insisted staff processed the payment. Some serious quality checks needed on the food before it's served to customers, and some customer service training for the staff is required. There is so much choice of Faketalian available in Salisbury Zizzi really needs to up it's game...
