Very pleasant and calm atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Food well presented and was extremely edible. Yes i ate too much !

We had Abbie as our server when we visited last night. Our order was messed up in the kitchen and so one of us got food and the remaining 4 of us didn’t. Abbie could not have been more apologetic, she sorted out free drinks for us as an apology and my son got double dinners as his food came out again with the rest of ours, so they gave us a takeaway box to bring this home. It’s so rare these days to have a server who actually takes an interest in customer service! Despite the mix up it was the best restaurant service we have had in a long time. Thanks Abbie 😊

We had an early dinner st Salisbury Prezzo, having never been to that one before. It is a beautiful building and an attractive restaurant inside too. All staff were friendly. Good service. Recommended

We went as a family of 3 on Sunday 27th April. The food was of great quality as was the service. Would definitely go to this prezzo again.

Not worth 1 star most disgusting attitude and rudeness I've ever encountered, if you don't know how to deal with red letter booking references I suggest you learn ,don't throw menus around and don't follow customers in street saying that you need a code so you can get payed,when you could have asked for it in the previous long time we had been sat there awful experience have contacted prezzo head office, not holding out much hope of a response.

Bad experience at the Salisbury branch. Food was was very dry and not very warm. Too busy staff didn't seem to bother had to keep asking where our food was and wrong order came up too had to go back and wait again. Won't be dining there again.

We had a fabulous lunch here yesterday. We were warmly greeted on arrival and our request to sit outside on the roof terrace was accommodated although we had booked for inside ( online didn't us book outside). The waiting staff were very attentive and the service very efficient. The food quality was amazing. I had the Tuscan bbq chicken pizza with a mixed leaf salad and my wife had the chicken bacon and avocado salad. We enjoyed our experience so much we simply had to stay longer and had the tiramisu sharer for dessert. Delicious. All washed down with a lovely pinot grigio rose. Will be back again soon.

Great food and service- however £4 for a small glass of lime and soda is taking the mick. “ we don’t have large glasses” Lunch in a pub and a pint of lime and soda was £1.65.

Food poor to average tonight. When this place opened years ago it was amazing. Last few years it has got worse and worse. Had to leave a review as its now so poor. 20 mins before anyone took drinks order. No pleasantries from staff. 4 different staff served us -all appeared unhappy. Only one other table full upstairs where we were at 7.30 in a sat night. Downstairs full. Starters were cold to luke warm at best. Burger chips looked very plain, poorly presented. Pizzas were hot though and nice. At 9.20 a waiter sat in a chair not far from us on his mobile phone for at least 15mins as if waiting for us to leave. As we walked downstairs at the bottom of stairs it was blocked by high pile of wooden high chairs and bucket of dirty water which we had to move to get out! Staff member in kitchen watched us do this-didnt offer to help or apologise. Loud ‘rap’ style music blaring in kitchen wasnt great either. My friend spoke to a passing staff member as we left to feedback politely that our experience was poor tonight. He was not interested or bothered and just said: ‘ oh well it was busy today’. Ladies toilets had no toilet roll in all evening. My experience in other Prezzos is lovely! We Keep going back to Salisbury hoping its better and its always the same-dire! Wont be going back now. Dreadful place.

This is a convenient location in town. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and well looked after. Our meal was full of delicious flavours.

My husband and friends enjoyed their pizzas, but I have a range of intolerances, which means I have a limited choice, if at all in restaurants, so rarely eat out. I reviewed the gluten free menu on line and found a couple of meals that were suitable for me and was delighted to see that bolognaise with fusilli pasta was available. When my meal arrived, I was given a bowl of dry fusilli and had to hunt for a sign of bolognaise sauce. Buried underneath I found a mere smear of sauce. This is NOT an exaggeration! For this I would have been charged £16! My friend immediately summoned the waitress back who took the bowl of fusilli away and returned with a new bowl. However, although there was a tad more sauce, but not much more, so we summoned the waitress back. I was advised to choose a different meal, so opted for another gluten free fusilli meal with smoked salmon sauce. More sauce here, enough to coat the pasta, but not generous, but edible. For this I was charged £18. I WILL AVOID Prezzo restaurant restaurants in the future. The gluten free bolognaise is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! £16 for a bowl of dry pasta? Are you having a laugh?

Turned up on a Saturday lunchtime for some food and drink. Restaraunt was fairly busy but we stood and waited for 5 minutes at the door and were not even spoken to or looked at. We walked out and will not return.

Fresh and tasty vegetarian meal includ the salad, and very kind and helpful restaurant staff.

Prezzo in Salisbury always delivers. The service is efficient despite how busy they are and the pizzas are nicely cooked and tasty. Great place to go before the cinema as you can get in and out within an hour having enjoyed good food and a glass of wine.

Prezzo was really busy tonight but that didn't stop the service from being amazing and given to us in good time, we didn't have to wait long, the food was delicious, overall extremely happy.

Visited yesterday lunchtime ,service good as was the food, BUT why oh why do you serve pizza on cold plates ??!! halfway through and the meal was cold and I do NOT like cold pizza!! Spoilt the visit. Did not have much time otherwise I would have asked for another one.

Unfortunately didn't get to eat. Booked a reservation online, only to be seated on a slanted floor by a very old window. Although the building is beautiful, the seating area was freezing cold and a draft made it unbearable. The party next to us all had coats on. We asked to be moved, 35 minutes later we were told there wasn't anything, despite plenty of spare tables (we only needed two seats). We left.

Table of 9. Got to the restaurant for 7.15 the time our table was booked for. Was shown straight away to our table which was upstairs . The room wasent very warm. We then waited 20 min before we were asked to order our drinks and food. I ordered garlic bread for starter. Menu said it was soaked with garlic butter. Well couldent taste any garlic. Some some of the other starters were ok but not very much flavour. Main course came out . Which wasent every warm . Not much sauce with the pasta . And very bland in taste. Two dishes were sent back to be reheated to which the waiter sighed at. I would not recommend going here for a meal it was the worst meal out I have had in ages. And it was unpleasantly cold. Very slow service and tasteless food.

I have been eating here for a few years and I was pleased with the quality, portions and service. But last night I was disappointed with the price for very small portions, despite the quality being average. Not going anymore.

Had a recent date night here with a buyagift voucher, we’ve had vouchers in the past at other places where the servers take less notice of you. Complete opposite at Prezzo Salisbury, fantastic service, tasty and plentiful food and great vibe. We will be back!

Another Year, Another Southern Counties Photographic Federation in the Library for the month of January. Lasagne, folded Pizza and a Standard one. All good. Followed by an exceptional Affogato served in a new format. Hayling Seagoon

Pre booked table 7, the table wasn't ready on arrival. Staff were unfriendly, menus thrown in a heap on the table. Large party so wanted to split the bill by item, staff disputed payment and attempted to overcharge. Even when they admitted fault they weren't apologetic and didn't offer to refund the difference. Otherwise the food was good. Shame about the service.

Booked table 4 weeks out! Ended up sat in some back room that had zero atmosphere! Food was good. Service was absolutely shocking. GF menu had no pasta, which is 50% of the menu. When I asked I just got a rude response as in “what you want me to do about it “ rude! Starter was wrong not what we ordered. Main was wrong not what I ordered.. I’ve been to loads of different Prezzos all around the country! This one is by far the worst! Never again!

Expensive rubbish!!! Honestly the menu must have been designed by a 14 year old on their home economics class at school. If you like bland food and stale drinks then this the place for you. Portion sizes are rubbish unless you’re having pasta and tomatoe sauce, and I’ve seen bigger tadpole’s compared to the size of fish on offer. Staff are also non existent, took 45 mins to even get a drink and that only happened after we ordered food. No atmosphere at all and one of the worst meals we’ve ever had when you throw the food back in the mix! not worth the money, and had better meals at Wetherspoons! You pretty much get a wood fired pizza anywhere now, better than the ones on offer here for a fraction of the prize!!!! If you want a proper Italian meal, don’t go here!!!!

Food was stone cold, I now have to wait another 15 minutes to pre-heat my oven to re-heat the pizza - if I had wanted to cook my own l would have have gone to Co-op and saved £20. :-(

I decided to go to Prezzo Salisbury as I had a voucher for a free bottle of wine on the build up to my birthday! I booked a table and ticked the birthday box, and I also printed the voucher which had a big bottle of wine pictured on it with Happy Birthday written on it. I arrived at the restaurant and was shown to the reserved table, and showed the voucher to the waitress. She came back with the bottle and took our order. Later when she came to ask if everything was alright I said that she hadn't wished me a happy birthday! She said she didn't know it was my birthday so I brought the voucher to her attention, and the mention on the booking. In true Manuel fashion she said "I know nothing" It didn't really matter, but we had a laugh about it afterwards!

Service, atmosphere, food was excellent. Watch out for price of wines though. We bought a carafe of wine, 500ml for £21, works out at £10.50p for each 250ml glass. Now that is what we called expensive.

In truth we went for dinner because we had a 50% discount on food but we were pleasantly surprised. The menu has changed since we last went and for the better. Really good choice and we felt the standard of food had improved greatly. Bruschetta and meatballs were delicious to start and pizzas were very enjoyable. Grace our server was exceptional, she did not miss a trick, constantly checked on us and we could not fault the service given at all. Unfortunately we had to listen to the woman behind the bar regale how sick she had been, details about her friend breaking up with his boyfriend and numerous other conversations. Is she truly that daft to not realise customers are near and that she needs to keep her personal conversations to when she has a night out.

Efficient, fast and friendly service, and very tasty Mortadella Mushroom pizza meal. Having often walked past this establishment at whatever time and day of the week, I now understand having eaten in why it always appears to be so busy and popular.

I have been going here for all my life and it remains my favourite restaurant. I came here recently with my family and we were greeted at our table by an extremely pleasant and cheerful young man! He was really lovely so we left a generous tip for him! The food was splendid. I had a calzone and it was just spectacular not to mention the garlic bread starter with caramelised onion and mozzarella! I have never tasted a garlic bread so exquisite. We will definitely be returning soon.

It was a very busy Saturday evening and we had a 50 minute wait for our food, we were in no hurry so this wasn't a problem for us. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant is a little tired and could do with a facelift. The biggest disappointment is the menu - Prezzo have drastically changed their fayre and many of the dishes we have enjoyed over the years have gone. The printed menu is ghastly, it is dull, cheaply produced and uninspiring; it uses two different colours, blocking some dishes in a purple background which makes them easy to ignore. I had a baked potato with my dish, it was cold in the middle but looking at it I don't think it would have been enjoyable had it been hot; there was no problem in asking for a complimentary bowl of fries to replace the cold potato. The puddings were horrible, my wife had a lemon meringue pie and I had the orange cheesecake, they were bought-in frozen catering puddings - lacking flavour and texture. It is quite sad as we have used Prezzo for many years, our local Prezzos in Hailsham and Eastbourne were victim to their recent cull and I can't see how this chain can possibly survive much longer - it feels like an end of an era. I have never understood how a business can succeed when its business model heavily relies on Tesco vouchers.

Right in the heart of Salisbury, close by the Cathedral, Prezzo is a great place to have lunch without spending more than £35 a head with drinks and gratuities. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and both familiar and yet inventive. I had the new Pinsa Chicken Peppers which was delicious and my wife enjoyed a generous portion of Salmon Rigatoni. Our friend had the Antipasto plate as a main course. We all had desserts and the Lemon Meringue Pie was particularly good with an extra helping of Gelato. Great food, good service and a pleasant ambiance.

The delivery time was later than initially indicated, by 25 minutes,, but we did receive an update.

We were asked to move during our lunch so a table of customers could be accommodated. Drinks were slow on arrival so much so, starter arrived at same time. Mains were ok but would not order again. Customers we had to move for were loud and it was impossible to hear what my guest was saying. I asked for a 2nd drink and was given a diet pepsi and not a Pepsi Max. I had to go to the bar area to get my bill but was not seen/heard until I asked a 3rd time. Toilet facilities were well used with toilet paper dispenser in a very awkward position. Very poor experience with very poor service. We went to Prezzo because our usual/local one in Ringwood is excellent.

Lovely meal, service was excellent. staff very polite. Would highly recommend and certainly visit again next time we are in the area.

Arrived about 6 pm without reservation and got the last available table (in the line of traffic, not cozy, but a place to eat - (beggars can't be choosers, my grandfather would say). Within minutes all reserved tables were filled. A fellow visitor to the city was about to be turned away so I offered the other spot at my table. (I had just come from Evensong at the cathedral and I had seen him there - a fellow pilgrim - a little like Chaucer's Tabard Inn. It seemed like the right thing to do. We exchanged stories.) Ordered pasta with chicken in a red sauce. Tasty. A small glass of wine. Dessert was a dense chocolate tort with mascarpone and raspberries, and a cappuccino - good choice. My fellow pilgrim had a gluten free pizza.

Only appeared to be two members of staff on both of which were not exactly talkative or overly friendly. I ordered Rigatoni Alla Rusticana which was lovely if your happy to pay nearly £20 for a bowl of pasta with a little sauce on. Although tasty I must have had 4 slices of peppers and 5 tiny bits of cut up chicken. My husbands meal 3 tiny sausages and some sauce (no pasta) waitress recommended potatoes (lucky she did because he was extremely disappointed with the portion size and would have been starving. My son 12 wasn’t offered a kids menu so guess they stop at 10 or something! He had a pepperoni pizza 12inch and in his words was alright, Wetherspoons one is probably nicer and half the price with a drink too. Our meals plus one drink for me the boys had water came to £65. Will not be returning for limited ingredients, lack of friendly atmosphere and the prices. Surprised people go back unless they had a half price offer. Only reason I would ever return.

We chose the Prezzo because I have a gluten allergy. They also had an allergy menu, which I thought was great. But when we wanted to pay, the waitress wasn't happy at all because we didn't want to order more. It took a while until we were allowed to pay. When we decided not to give a tip on the EC-Gäret (because the service wasn't exactly great) the waitress was pretty pissed off and threw the receipt on the table and was very unfriendly...

I love Prezzo, food is very good, the service very friendly and it is in a such historical building (and that is what attracted me initially 10 years ago)

El lugar por fuera se ve bonito, por desgracia el mesero descarga su ira, cansancio y falta de personal en los comensales. Creo que deben de entender que las personas de llegamos a consumir alimentos no somos responsables de sus frustraciones, que no tiene ayuda o que tiene muchas mesas que atender. Si no puede servirnos… nos paramos y nos fuimos a otro lado, nadie merece ser tratado. Existe una gran oferta de excelente calidad y en 2 segundos estaban disfrutando una velada increíble sin un mesero frustrado.

Lovely Father’s Day meal today. Served by Abigail and she couldn’t be more helpful. As you’d expect, the restaurant was busy as it was Father’s Day. But the service was really prompt and and we didn’t have to wait at all. Food was hot and delicious. We sat upstairs and it’s really cool in there. All old beams and history. Kids meals were pretty good value too.

It all depends on where you are sat. Some areas for seating are nicer than others like establishments. The food is nicely cooked, obviously some fresh and some frozen. The atmosphere is quite essential to what you would expect from a restaurant, the service is of an expected standard. All in all, a nice place to eat for couples and groups.
