We were asked to move during our lunch so a table of customers could be accommodated. Drinks were slow on arrival so much so, starter arrived at same time. Mains were ok but would not order again. Customers we had to move for were loud and it was impossible to hear what my guest was saying. I asked for a 2nd drink and was given a diet pepsi and not a Pepsi Max. I had to go to the bar area to get my bill but was not seen/heard until I asked a 3rd time. Toilet facilities were well used with toilet paper dispenser in a very awkward position. Very poor experience with very poor service. We went to Prezzo because our usual/local one in Ringwood is excellent.

Lovely meal, service was excellent. staff very polite. Would highly recommend and certainly visit again next time we are in the area.

Arrived about 6 pm without reservation and got the last available table (in the line of traffic, not cozy, but a place to eat - (beggars can't be choosers, my grandfather would say). Within minutes all reserved tables were filled. A fellow visitor to the city was about to be turned away so I offered the other spot at my table. (I had just come from Evensong at the cathedral and I had seen him there - a fellow pilgrim - a little like Chaucer's Tabard Inn. It seemed like the right thing to do. We exchanged stories.) Ordered pasta with chicken in a red sauce. Tasty. A small glass of wine. Dessert was a dense chocolate tort with mascarpone and raspberries, and a cappuccino - good choice. My fellow pilgrim had a gluten free pizza.

Great fast service and really nice food. Warning, no healthy sweet options, all very naughty.

Only appeared to be two members of staff on both of which were not exactly talkative or overly friendly. I ordered Rigatoni Alla Rusticana which was lovely if your happy to pay nearly £20 for a bowl of pasta with a little sauce on. Although tasty I must have had 4 slices of peppers and 5 tiny bits of cut up chicken. My husbands meal 3 tiny sausages and some sauce (no pasta) waitress recommended potatoes (lucky she did because he was extremely disappointed with the portion size and would have been starving. My son 12 wasn’t offered a kids menu so guess they stop at 10 or something! He had a pepperoni pizza 12inch and in his words was alright, Wetherspoons one is probably nicer and half the price with a drink too. Our meals plus one drink for me the boys had water came to £65. Will not be returning for limited ingredients, lack of friendly atmosphere and the prices. Surprised people go back unless they had a half price offer. Only reason I would ever return.

Busy but chilled atmosphere . Delicious food , great flavors- we had the prawn chilli spaghetti and crusted de Gallo spinach pasta with peas & cheese ( was yummy!) and great service with Alfonso and all the team .

We chose the Prezzo because I have a gluten allergy. They also had an allergy menu, which I thought was great. But when we wanted to pay, the waitress wasn't happy at all because we didn't want to order more. It took a while until we were allowed to pay. When we decided not to give a tip on the EC-Gäret (because the service wasn't exactly great) the waitress was pretty pissed off and threw the receipt on the table and was very unfriendly...

I love Prezzo, food is very good, the service very friendly and it is in a such historical building (and that is what attracted me initially 10 years ago)

El lugar por fuera se ve bonito, por desgracia el mesero descarga su ira, cansancio y falta de personal en los comensales. Creo que deben de entender que las personas de llegamos a consumir alimentos no somos responsables de sus frustraciones, que no tiene ayuda o que tiene muchas mesas que atender. Si no puede servirnos… nos paramos y nos fuimos a otro lado, nadie merece ser tratado. Existe una gran oferta de excelente calidad y en 2 segundos estaban disfrutando una velada increíble sin un mesero frustrado.

Lovely Father’s Day meal today. Served by Abigail and she couldn’t be more helpful. As you’d expect, the restaurant was busy as it was Father’s Day. But the service was really prompt and and we didn’t have to wait at all. Food was hot and delicious. We sat upstairs and it’s really cool in there. All old beams and history. Kids meals were pretty good value too.

It all depends on where you are sat. Some areas for seating are nicer than others like establishments. The food is nicely cooked, obviously some fresh and some frozen. The atmosphere is quite essential to what you would expect from a restaurant, the service is of an expected standard. All in all, a nice place to eat for couples and groups.

Brilliant service. Promptly seated and the food was delicious. I ordered the Salmon Rigatoni and it was amazing.

Toppings on pizza and garlic bread had come off and stuck to the packaging. Very greasy as well. Temperature wasn’t great either.

It wasn't 5, because it took them a long time to give us a table even though it wasn't full, but the truth is that it was the fastest we found, I get the impression that turtle attention is common in the town, but once we We sat down, the service was quick and the pizza was very delicious. I recommend it if you go on a group tour. The other places we went to ask even to talk were slow

We needed to eat something quickly, since we didn't have much time to go on a tour, however here they treated us very well, we drank some good, cold beers (it was hot) and an excellent margherita pizza that we shared (the large size was good for 2). Recommendable.

On a Monday we find a full and cozy Italian restaurant Prezzo in Salisbury. Delicious food, alert and friendly service. Recommended!

Excellent service from the team especially Alfie, Basil and Abigail. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

I ordered for 7:40pm and it came way over an hour late

We arrived as a party of 8 taken upstairs and our server was the most surly person I have known . We had to ask for my grandson garlic bread and his dessert.I only had water and had to ask for ice twice .My husband visited the gents toilet.the seat was off and stuck down the side of the toilet and the smell as my grandson said was worse than a hundred cats had weed . The ladies also smelt of wee . We asked the waiter if he could split the bill as their were 3 different parties,he refused and told us it was up to us to work it out .The cherry on top was the service charge .My husband I had a pizza , lasagna and an fizzy drink and tap water .With the service charge the bill came to £42 ,we will not be going back , definitely not worth it

Cosy restaurant, great food and attentive service.

I had the Tuscon sausage, what a mistake. The first plate bought out to me was cold, so it was sent back. The second was better but the 3 chipolata sausages that were burnt to a crisp was sat on a sludge of undercooked lentils. I've never seen such a crappy looking meal. I would not recommend this restaurant, what a let down.

As a vegetarian I was horrified that was was fed a meat dish that was partly eaten. Maybe the kitchen staff was distracted with the young children walking around the kitchen playing with their tablets. I wont be returning back to Salisbury Prezzo. Front of house staff were very apologetic but damage done and felt sick all evening!

Avoid at all costs if you are gluten free. The GF pizza is good if you are 4 years old. You can’t ask for a bigger one because if you are GF it automatically means you are less hungry according to Prezzo. They only have the tiny pizza base. To top it all they overcharged us by £40!!! Good job we noticed!! Ended up going to get a GF pizza from Sainsbury’s as we were still hungry

I wasn't advised that there was no beef burgers available when I was sat down by the waiter. Spent 20 minutes in the restaurant before I was told that it wasn't available. Absolute shambles. I will not be returning.

The service was a very nice young man from Poland. 10 out of 10. The food terrible. We had a great time because we were with old friends lots of wine £340 for 4 of us. Food you could not make it up came out very hungry.

Visited for Bottomless brunch and i would not reccomend to anyone. The menu for food choice is limited to only pizza but the pizza's we did order were enjoyable. The drinks menu was great a good choice of cocktails but when you have staff that dont like to make these its a waste.The staff didnt smile once seemed very annoyed at us when we ordered drinks. Barged between us a few times to collect items off our table instead of making us aware they were trying to do this. Never once come to ask if we was ok or needed anything we had to get their attention and a few times you could see they were blatantly ignoring us. We felt like an inconvenience and we dont understand why the restuarant offers the bottomless brunch when they dont have staff that are willing the work the table. When paying the bill we decided to leave a tip in cash but we had to pay by card due to their rules and as we started to pay the waitress very rudely said.. did u see the service charge!! We was shocked and a member of our group did rudely reply Yes but we arent paying that!! which was just a reaction as we was going to leave a cash tip. Cash tip was left just not as much as it would have been.

Ordered an evening meal for my family here to say I am disappointed is an understatement. For order came to £84.98 and when delivered it was stone cold!. On calling the rude person on the phone didn’t want to know, so we went down. Because we were in a busy restaurant they tried to quiet us down. They put our food in the micro and sent us packing. Absolutely shocking service no chance of refund as they blame Deliveroo! Won’t be back here ever !!!

Me and my boyfriend came here for birthday meal, we were surprised of the portion, our main look like a starter, the waiter didn’t do check back or ask us for a dessert or second drink, totally abandoned us. We left very hungry, we will not come back and definitely won’t recommend to friends and family.

We booked to visit Prezzo in Salisbury (SP1 2PF) on Saturday 27/01/2024 as part of a weekend break away. We chose this restaurant due to the 2 for 1 tastecard offer. When asking for the bill we were made aware that the Salisbury branch did not accept tastecard on Friday or Saturday. Upon looking further, we discovered that although the tastecard app says “Available on Monday - Sunday” it mentioned further down the page that this extended Friday and Saturday offer is unavailable in Salisbury. We have a problem with this as the tastecard listing for the Salisbury branch has conflicting information which appears to be misleading your customers. In one place it says it is available all week from Monday to Sunday, but further down the screen it excludes Friday and Saturday. The exclusions were also hidden away in ‘Venue details’ that you needed to click to reveal. This is undoubtedly conflicting information. As the text ‘Monday to Sunday’ was more prominent (ie in ‘The Important Stuff’ and above the page fold), we feel that the restaurant should have accepted our discount code. Unfortunately, they refused. The Advertising Standards Authority and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, sets out a series of rules intended to prevent misleading information. Part of this includes whether an ad is likely to mislead the average consumer and whether it is likely to cause them to take a transactional decision that they otherwise would not have taken. In this instance, I can confirm that we feel misled by the conflicting information and would not have visited if we had seen that this offer was not available on Saturday. Unfortunately we did not scroll further down the app, due to see ‘Available on Monday - Sunday’ in ‘The Important Stuff’. Our waitress kindly pointed us to the Prezzo website where we were able to find a smaller discount. However, even with this discount it is more than we would have paid if they had accepted our tastecard

We went on a Tuesday night and managed to book a table online easily for 2 people. The restaurant is easy to find using Google. Lush House car park a few minutes walk away which is free in the evenings. The car park was busy but we managed to get a space. On a busier day it may be difficult to park here as space is limited. There is also the Multi Story car park about the same distance if required. When we arrived, outside the restaurant there was a group of 4 people smoking right outside the door. As non-smokers we did not enjoy this but ignored the horrible smell and went in. The entrance area was sealed off from the main restaurant with a thick, heavy curtain to help stop the draught coming in. Walking into a small, dark space with only a hand sanitiser dispenser present was a surprise. There were no signs or indication on what best to do (it sounds odd to say but it did have me confused for a few seconds) before we parted them and stepped into the restaurant. The restaurant was busy but we were see to quickly by the very friendly and helpful waitress. We were seated quickly . Our seats were by the door which I woukd recommend avoiding on cold nights or if you do not like the smell of smoke whilst you are eating. Every time someone came in or out of the restaurant, I had to get up to close the curtains to stop the cold air and nicotine laced draught from blowing directly at us. There were no signs to instruct people to close the curtains and staff were too busy to notice themselves. We did move seats eventually but it was still not enough to stop this from happening. We ordered drinks, unfortunately there were no hot drinks available due to a broken coffee machine depsite it being below 0° outside. Apparently the art of making hot drinks by hand has been long forgotten in most places that now rely on pre-programmed machines. This was a shame. Despite it being busy, we were seen to quickly. The service was excellent. Our food arrived quickly and whilst it looked lovely, the quality just isn't there. For starters I ordered fried mozzarella. Unfortunately, the dish was bland and required the side portion of tomato relish to liven the affair up. My wife ordered Beef Ravolini which was also bland and watery. Very little beef flavour to speak of and the wet pasta added nothing but disappointment to the experience. For mains, I ordered a Gorgonzola truffle burger which was a fairly simple affair and whilst it delivered what it said on the menu it was certainly nothing to write home about. The quality of the food has more in common with large chain restaurant food now than we have previously experienced. Whilst filling, it was "ok". My wife ordered a pizza and it is the first time in 17 years that I have seen her ask for ketchup to put on her food to add flavour. The food just wasn't up to scratch. Had we been paying full price, we would probably have complained. Thankfully we weren't. We both ordered drinks which were recognised brand alcoholic drinks. Mine came in a bottle with a glass and my wife's in a can with a glass. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem with pouring my own drink but the prices that these were coming in at (even in today's environment), I was expecting more than a bottle being placed in front of me! We ordered dessert. I had tiramisu which was nice. I have certainly had nicer and once again it was clearly a bought-in, ready made affair plonked on to a plate. It was however the tastiest thing I ate that evening. My wife ordered an orange cheesecake which was again a pre-prepared affair and was dry and powdery. When the bill came we were surprised as to how expensive the meal was. With everything coming in at just under £45 each! Our waitress was lovely and very efficient and was probably the highlight of our evening. Unfortunately the drinks were expensive, the overpriced food was poor quality, the restaurant was cold, it stank of smoke and any sense of the restaurant being anything other than another chain has sadly gone. We didn't take pictures as we were keen to leave.

Sadly this restaurant - where I dine regularly - has just lost a star. I booked a Table for 4 @ 4.30pm on Friday 5th. Circumstances changed, so I called to move to 5.00pm. The contact said he could not access their system. I called a few days later and another staff member said it had been changed. We arrived in Salisbury at 5.10pm, delayed by traffic and had two parcels to drop off. I called to explain only to be told there was NO RESERVATION under my name! I dropped my 3 colleagues at the restaurant whilst I went to park. They managed to negotiate a table upstairs. This booking system needs a serious review. Many restaurants now confirm reservations by sending a text. Then both parties have an audit trail. As to the meal, two had Lasagne, one Sea Bass and one seafood. All good. Two opted for the semi fredo dessert which was delicious. The Sicilian Lemon Meringue Pie was decidedly average. Hayling Seagoon

Friendly delivery service food wasn’t the best

Prezzo Used to be he best Italian in Salisbury, it was that good we had our wedding exception there 20 yrs ago. Went there last night for our anniversary and food was well below the usual standard. Starter was garlic bread but didn’t even taste of garlic so they brought me small portion of garlic🤪. Main course was ok, then sweet was so dry we complained and were told that’s why you have cream with it.. so try it if you want to chance it, I would spend your money elsewhere. They need to look at what they are doing. And that bloody curtain is a nuisance just get another door fitted and do it properly you charge enough for your food.

Estaba todo delicioso y el ambiente era muy confortable.

It took 2hours to be delivered and I had to put it in my air fryer it was so cold. My drink was also missing.

Main course portion sizes for the spaghetti bolognaise and mushroom risotto were too small and not particularly tasty. We went home hungry. There are better restaurants in town.

Very cold upstairs had the chicken in sage butter picture on front of new menu looks amazing sadly that's just for show cabbage was grey slimy my hassle back potato was not at all roasted it was cold and parboiled waiter took it back and did ask if it was better I said yes but it was hot then but still no sign of any colour as it had been reheated it was mush I left it my ham had disappeared with a tiny bit left I assume it became to chrisp and was removed the sage butter had all dried into the chicken I did eat that as I was starving we declined pud n coffee and a portion of cheesecake was produced with 3 spoons as a sorry which was nice however I was very disappointed won't stop me returning however next time I hope my food will be of a higher standard Hannah dredge Salisbury Fri Oct 27th

Me and my daughter came for her birthday lunch yesterday and it was lovely! The food was delicious!! My daughter ordered her dessert and the lovely waitress brought it over singing happy birthday to her! I didn’t ask for this so it was so nice they just did it themselves! I didn’t catch her name but she had pink hair =) Thank you so much!

Delish and great lunch before our visit near the Cathedral. Had a great pizza and fresh salad before we visited the Cathedral for the tower tour and then an Evensong. Delicious, fresh, comfortable seating. Very reasonable prices.

Disappointing experience, grumpy staff, portions ridiculously small and bland, salad served with no dressing, absolutely nothing special, a shame for Italian cuisine. The wine was served chilled, which was good.

Chicken truffle burger is to die for, l have never made so many noises of pleasure eating any other food, great food and great service.

We went here for a meal and the food was really good. Initial service was a bit slow but once we ordered, everything moved along fairly quickly. The waiter was helpful and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.

Portion sizes have decreased since last time I have been here, Staff are polite, but the building is small For the money you spend here you should get more money!

Had a delivery this evening, driver dropped the sauce but still gave it to us with no lid, ordered goats cheese pizza got chicken, phoned restaurant and the man who answered the phone didn’t want to know even though it was there kitchen that messed up the order. Found him rude and unhelpful. Never using them again, which is a shame as always went to the restaurant for celebration, not anymore Prezzo shameful customer service!!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. We were welcomed by the rudest member of stuff who after asking if we had booked (to which we replied no - meanwhile the restaurant being almost empty) he rudely told us to sit down and took our order. He then served us the smallest glass of prosecco (for 7 pounds) which was visibly much smaller (almost half) of what other tables had. Customer service non-existent.

Food was delivered on time, but it was cold on delivery. The garlic dip I paid extra for was also missing.

I was hugely disappointed that prezzos tries to refuse cash. To embarrass a young girl in opinion is poor. No signs!! Cash is king!!!

Had a celebratory meal for our daughters GCSE results today. We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always great with brilliant service, to the point where they even tell us what we are having as starters 😂

Pricey Italian food but okay if you want a quick meal.

I ate here with my family of 4. The food was great, and the service good until we finished our main course. I then ordered a coffee and was told the coffee machine had been cleaned and turned off for the night. Unbelievable when there were still customers eating!! People were coming in and asking for tables and being turned away before 9pm. The staff were cleaning and closing everything down while we were eating our desserts, and then sitting drinking and chatting to friends and completely ignoring the fact that we wanted the bill. It was like once it got to 8:45pm no one could be bothered with anything apart from the thought of finishing for the night. What started out as a great evening ended up with us feeling really fed up and annoyed.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here for a family get together in this historic building. The gluten free menu was good. There was so many choices it took us ages to decide what to have. The GF garlic bread with mozzarella and balsamic is the size of a full pizza and delicious. We should probably have only ordered 1 between four and of us! Pizzas and pasta dishes, even the risotto were excellent. Half way thorough, I accidentally knocked my glass and soaked my husband! Staff immediately turned up with rolls of tissue paper and made us all laugh. They even replaced my drink. Our waitress was also great fun, and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed huge sweets too and left, totally stuffed, after a very enjoyable evening. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

We stopped by Prezzo while in Salisbury to have a couple of glasses of wine. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was nice. It was warm inside that day, so we were a little bit uncomfortable. Overall, the food we saw looked very good. If we hadn't already had dinner reservations at our hotel, we would have enjoyed some pizza there. Cute place.

We arrived late, and they warned us they were very busy and service might be slow. However I found the service timing to be fine, Food to be delicious, and the waitress was an absolute delight!

A large group of us (originally 25) booked a table and had a meal here. When we got there we were warmly welcomed and seated. More people than expected turned up (31). The staff were very accommodating, getting more seats and cutlery and moving us around to fit us all in. I’ve worked in hospitality before and can appreciate how frustrating this can be! But the staff were great (even if they may have been secretly annoyed). We all ordered drinks, which was quite a feat but the man and lady were attentive and the service was quick. We ordered food, he checked it all over and made any changes to meals if people requested it - very accommodating and patient. The food came and amazingly they could remember what most of us ordered which was amazing and sped up the service. There was a very short wait for food in relation to our table size and variety of orders. The food came out altogether which wasn’t expected but it was a brilliant surprise. All the staff really pulled together to make our experience great. Thank you to the servers, front of house and chefs!!
