Really good pizza, really good vibes

We booked a table and were sat right next to the host station in the most inconvenient table. Took over 20 minutes for someone to take our order even though there was about 3/4 waiters/waitresses. Ordered two sets of olives and were given a total of 4 olives with too much taralli. When we asked the waiter why we got so little his response was the manager says it’s right. No actual effort from the manager to come and check on us or anything about the situation. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our pizza, again ignored by everyone. When we finally did get the pizza from the manager we got the response ‘I’m sorry that’s how the olives come’ and no apology for how long we waited for the pizza. It took so long we nearly missed our museum booking. We have come here before and had the same exact awful service but assumed that it was just a one time thing. This has most definitely proved it is not, we were avid fans of Franco Manco before even having the loyalty stamps. But now due to this experience it has put us off all Franco Manco’s. This experience happened in November and as someone who works in hospitality it still bothers me to this day. The only saving grace was how good the food was, but the service made it leave a bitter feeling.

Loved stopping into Franco Manca in Kensington on Monday post the London Marathon. Amazing that they offer free pizza to marathon finishers Sunday and Monday! Atmosphere was fantastic and our server Anayet was the best. The pizza was delicious and the side salad we got before the pizza came was the perfect portion size and the house dressing was so flavorful. Thank you, Anayet, for taking such great care of us!

Stopped by for an early Sunday lunch, the service from Maria was exceptional! She was attentive and funny (big bonus). The food was delicious, possibly the best Franca M I've had! 10/10

Polite staff, clean and nice atmosphere, food didn't take too long to come out.

Took way over half an hour to get the pizza, and only after a reminder. Felt like it was forgotten and ended up being re-warmed, so not really a joy to eat. Was hard to catch waitresses' attention for any cause, and was no sign of being sorry for the delayed pizza. If you are overloaded with orders, way nicer would be to let the customer know right away that at this time there will be considerable delays.

What's there not to love about delicious neapolitan pizza made with quality ingredients? Portions are abundant and everything tastes delicious. We had an appetizer, two pizzas and dessert and didn't break the bank. Definitely would be a regular here if we didn't live in the USA. Please open a few stateside.

Went here after a concert with my friend, it wasn’t too busy once we got seated. The was a pure lack of service along with consideration of my money and time. We waited over an hour for our mediocre, semi cold pizza. It took so long our desert arrived before our main- we had to get up from our seats and ask where our food was. Twice. Not only this but our dessert came with whipped cream which I had explicitly asked not to have on my dessert as I’m lactose intolerant. We couldn’t even ask for a new one because of the lack of servers and their care for our experience. The food was okay but don’t come if you value your time and money.

It's a chain and went in with high expectations. Seated very quickly table for 5. Prices aren't outrageous, so that's a bonus. The famous pizzas - 3 out of our 5 had completely black burnt bases. 2 went back and were happily exchanged, the 3rd person ate half then realised half way through but didn't bother to finish or ask for exchange. The staff kindly removed that pizza off the bill and offered a free dessert. So the issues were dealt with quickly courteously and professionally. But for a chain who's sole raison d'etre is pizza. Well, it's not a good start. Rudy's in Manchester's Northern Quarter is still the UK's best Pizza Margarita (IMHO) London has many decent options. This one didn't perform on this occassion. Worth noting they are a decent size - no half measures. Deserts went down well, I had tiramisu which was okay, but that's it, only okay. Same flavour profile as a supermarket one. Again, generous serving. Recap Prices good and staff are decent, on this occassion pizzas were a let down. I'm sure that's not always the case.

Foods great, the waiters are usually lovely, but the seating arrangement means you will always bump into the person behind you - cutting your pizza, you'll know your elbow with them, getting out, you'll definitely bump into them. It's just not well arranged

I got the sourdough smoked spicy salami pizza and it was very good. The Salami was the perfect texture and flavor. The dough was so thin and tasted very light. The flavors blended extremely well with the basil and carmalized onions.

I came here with my family, and we had an amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was super friendly. A great place to enjoy delicious pizzas—I highly recommend visiting!

I came with my girlfriend for launch on 17 feb during school term so pretty busy time. Great experience, the restaurant was full but they was still able to provide an outstanding service, pizza arrived in reasonable time and cooked to perfection, very good topping quantity, crust was airy and not chewy! As a pizzachef myself and from neapolitan origin, bravi waglioʻ!

Incluso yo solo he visitado un par de ellos, y quizás para otros no son los mejores, ni son realmente una mala opción para este tipo de comida. Hay alrededor de 45 ubicaciones en el Gran Londres y como 70 en todo el Reino Unido. El servicio de Chrystal Faith fue adecuado, la ensalada y pizza estaban bien, nada espectacular e incluso realmente siempre mejorable. Lo recomendable es hacer una reserva previa, el lugar podría estar realmente lleno de cierta diversidad, principalmente jóvenes, pero incluso con niños de mala estatura y padres irresposibles también.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Franco Manca today. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, and the pizzas were truly outstanding. We've tried many Franco Manca locations, and this was definitely one of the best. Highly recommended!

Very good place to eat pizzas. Highly recommended price quality. There were 8 of us and we ordered pizzas, the chicken dish with pesto and the eggplant parmesan dish… and they were delicious. The waiter Orges was very kind to us, he gave us great service. We will repeat without a doubt.

Service isn't amazing. Food is great but even when there are clearly empty tables it takes time for the waiters to seat you. Same goes with ordering and asking for the bill. Overall a pretty good place to get authentic sourdough pizza though.

We really enjoyed our time at Franco Manca South Ken. The first time we came, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming waitress called Maria. She made us feel at home immediately, providing us with efficient and comprehensive service. Honestly one of the best waitresses that I’ve ever encountered. She was always ready to answer any questions and concerns we had and did her best to satisfy our needs. We had such a good time that we came again the next week and luckily Maria had a shift that day! We cannot speak more highly of Maria and hopes she gets the recognition she deserves.

Lovely hostess Maria welcomed us and we enjoyed our pizzas. The place is very very loud though when it is fully booked.

We were welcomed by Maria at around 7 pm when there were no tables available. She was very accommodating and asked us to come back in 45 min - no contact mobile number required as she told us that she would remember us which indeed she did when we returned. During the rest of the evening she looked after us with great care, explained the menu and how to use the App. She regularly checked up on us if we needed anything. Great service by Maria which is why I decided to give the place a 5-star rating for service. The atmosphere is better during lunch time when it is less noisy but that obviously depends on the clientele of the day.

Been a FM fan since the Brixton days. Still the best pizza in town. Lovely service at the SK branch. Maria is always so lovely for all our lunch breaks. And the pizza is still as delicious like in the first days. NO. 3 FOR LIFE!!!
