I was quite surprised by the deliciousness of the food because I’m generally underwhelmed by chain restaurants! We ordered one of the specials and it was absolutely phenomenal. The service was amazing too! The restaurant itself was busy and quite crowded on a Friday evening, but not terrible.

We went in just before the place closed, and they took us in. They were fast preparing 2 pizzas and they were really tasty. The prices were ok too. The place itself cute.

The food was so good for the perfect price, and the staff were lovely. The Tiramisu was delicious and huge! Perfect to share between the two of us.

That was the best pizza I have ever had Everything in the menu is so tasty and fresh. The beer is great too. The staff are amazing and I recommend without doubt.

Below average in every way. Pizza dough was decent but dry and overcooked. Not enough cheese relative to size of pizza. Tomato sauce was bland and unseasoned and too little. The most annoying thing was that they don’t slice your pizza, leaving you to cut through that tough base and make a mess of the toppings. Staff are not particularly welcoming or knowledgeable. Brought water glasses to the table holding them by the rim, where I’m then supposed to put my lips and drink. Buffala mozzarella was supermarket quality and by that, I mean Tesco not Marks & Spencer’s….dry, tasteless and inauthentic. Prices are relatively low, but what’s the point if the food tastes so bland ?

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price! I find the price point the best virtue of this restaurant as you won't spend more than you would in some fast food place. Only downside is that it is a bit cramped inside, it's a small space.

Friendly service & excellent pizza. My wife wanted some pizza late in the evening, so I looked up the closest places and decided to go with Franco Manca. The gentleman who greeted me as I walked in was very friendly and helpful. It’s more of a sit down place, so I asked if I could take pizzas to go, and he said of course. We ordered the #2 (Margherita) and the #6 (pepperoni) and both were great. I only waited 10 or so minutes and was out the door.

Myself and my friend went for lunch here today, we walked in and got seated straight away, we also really like the pizza and it’s great value. When the bill came at the end, it stated “optional service charge” we are both on low salary jobs and couldn’t afford to be going over £20 each for our lunch so we asked them to take it off and split the bill in half, the waiter then disappeared and was chatting to they’re colleagues for 5+ minutes, and kept staring and pointing at us. The manager eventually came back to our table and confronted us on why we didn’t want to pay there service charge, at which point we explained it wasn’t to do with the service, we are just young girls living in London on low income jobs. We eventually said we would just pay the service charge as we felt so uncomfortable. There was no gratitude or even any conversation from the manager, they then went and changed the bill, came back and charged us. As someone who has worked in hospitality for many years, I know what when people take off the charge, it is unfair to confront the customer. We left feeling incredibly guilty and uncomfortable.

On the other hand, London is not very close to the places of origin of pizza, but Franco Manca's restaurant in South Kensington, thanks to the expertly selected ingredients but above all to the warmth of Manuel, the young restaurant manager, has been able to keep alive that true and essential original to be able to offer a product like pizza. Now straight to the technical notation with the usual judgment parameters: Setting, processing, ingredients, service, prices (1-10). Setting 7 ½ Located in a city like London with one of the largest gastronomic scenes in the world, and above all with a product, pizza, offered in all sauces and varieties among the endless pizzerias in the city. Franco Manca's venture in South Kensington is a successful one from the moment you enter the rustic environment welcomed by an excellent Manuel who makes you feel at home. A place for families but also excellent for couples who love Italian style. Process 6 ½ Dough with the right flavor, and with wide margins for growth and improvement. Ingredients 7 Very good, and different from other pizzerias Service 8 It stands out for something more than the others. Real Italians, cheerful and excellent advisors, especially the excellent Manuel Prices 7 ½ On average I was 1 to 2 cheaper than the prices of other pizzerias and I don't know if they offer pizzas Overall rating: 7 ½ Choice: Marinara, margherita with anduja, and a red one with salami, beer and water Minimum spend 3 people >€35

Ordered a take out Pizza, love the sourdough there. Tasty as always.

Unfriendly and grumpy staff, very abrupt in tone, need to work being accommodating and polite. In addition to the attitude problem half of the order arrived late, there was no apology. Half of the order that arrived late, arrived cold so was sent back. This was all without apology or acknowledgement. I will not go there again. All the best visiting this establishment, hopefully when you go there the people that served us will not be serving you.

Great pizza chain for the price and somewhat authentic pizze. However their app to collect coupon is very disappointing. We have lost so many points we could have collected because the app was down or the codes did not work... this is not fair and there is no way to contact their support other than by filling an online form they never reply to. Disappointing as it is a recurring issue.

Thank you Orges for the sincere apology and quickly fixing things. A rare thing in London when something happens. We had asked for our table not to be cleared while myself and my 5 year old went to the bathroom. We returned and everything on the table was gone. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how they're taken care of. Orges immediately & sincerely apologized, took responsibility and fixed it by replacing the food that had been take away (at no cost to us). No defensiveness and no excuses. A rare thing in this city. I used to work in restaurants, so I know these things happen. Thank you for the excellent service!

Do not go with babies. Rang ahead to confirm we could bring two prams, were told that we’d have to leave a sleeping baby outside, and repeatedly told to collapse the prams (bassinets so do not collapse). Extremely unwelcoming - avoid

Went for a dinner as was staying in the hotel nearby. Great pizza and what even more impressive, fantastic customer service. Our host was Michele and he went above and beyond to make us happy. Definitely recommended!

I had a fonduta as starter and then a pizza margherita. Both good and good size for the price. The waiters were busy, it being a Saturday night, but you could clearly tell the effort they put in to be attentive to each and everyone of their customers. Thank you to Orges and Michele.

We came in just for a little nibble and still the feeling we got and service was very warm and professional. We ended up staying and having desert and coffee. Enjoyed the whole experience. Michele is a wonderful host.

Table far to close together. We were made to squeeze uncomfortably into a corner by the door, and yet half the restaurant remained empty! Food was great as always.

Great sourdough crust. Thin yet flexible. Nice char from wood fired oven. Nice selection of toppings. Normally I would have given a four rsting but I could not find an area needing improvement. Fair prices. Nice cozy ambiance.

Great sourdough pizza with really affordable prices! One of my favourite pizzerias in London. Their tomato sauce and sourdough are solid enough. Tried their 2024 Veganuary vegan special - miso aubergine & vegan cheese pizza. Aubergine on pizza always hits the spot. I’m not a fan of the crisps on top, but the whole pizza still did not disappoint!

This was my Uber eats order on New Year’s Eve. I had paid priority but frankly the pizza looked like it had been made hours ago. I paid £20 (inc tip) for this monstrosity. It was so cold and hard. I tried a little then trashed the rest. Uber refused to refund me my money.Do not place an order here . Pizza is below standard.

Arrived late On a weekday and knew exactly what I wanted. Burrata, pizza and salad and tiramisu / coffee. Which is what I always have at these amazing restaurants with friendly staff.

Buena comida, buen ambiente y buen precio. Tienen pizzas SIN GLUTEN(+2'35£), riquísimas todas. Comer 4 personas 4 pizzas deliciosas con jarra de agua del grifo que allí se puede beber perfectamente, total 52'08£. Cuidado con el aceite picante que es muy muy picante jajajaja. Camareras rápidas, cocina rápida, local bien climatizado, baño gratis.

The manager needs to find another job or not work at all! Rude! Racist comments! Couldn’t be bothered to face customers but instead stayed behind the restaurant and screamed at customers! Also don’t bother with customer service, emailed them to let them know the issue as I didn’t want to leave a negative review here but they couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge the email! Its a shame this place is no longer what it used to be!

I am very disappointed with Pizza bars in UK . Here it is all about the gooey half cooked base & hardly any topping. I have enjoyed other Pizzas on a well cooked base and loads of topping so that the hungry eater can enjoy the experience 😀

Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere, along with reasonable prices makes for a fabulous time. The pizza dough is amazing, very fresh and home made, and fired in a wood burning oven. The ingredients are high quality and you can taste it. We will definitely be back!

Arrived at 11.57 to be told off for walking in to the restaurant, that there's a sign to wait by the front and nothings ready yet. Not the best start. Pizza was good though.

Food is not the same as it was in the past. Toilet sink has utterly disturbing mold all around it which ruined my appetite completly! Get a domestos it costs 1£ and pour on it for heavens sake.

Service was horrible, the food was cold and tasteless, the staff are not particularly nice either. Wouldn’t bother. Used to be an okay place but now it’s going downhill very fast.

I was left standing, waiting to be seated, for far too long. Members of staff acknowledged I was there and waiting, but no one came to seat me. I left after being fed up.

Kids menu very good. My pizza good not best. Reason is salami with strange skin on it. It was pulling during eating. Rest was pretty good. We had luck finding a place to sit. Later people had to wait.

Very good location and cozy venue. The food was good and at good price. The staff was very attentive especially Maria, the Portuguese supervisor. She was excellent, very prepared and smiley. Gave us very informed suggestions and was a nice chat as well!

Great pizza, good value and a nice cosy atmosphere. Went with all my friends for a catch up dinner and we loved it. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area of South Kensington.

First time trying Franco manca pizza and it was amazing. The pizza was incredibly delicious, service from the staff were very nice and helpful. I couldn’t decide which pizza to try so one staff recommended number 7, a spicy salami with caramelised onion, wow best pizza I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend to anyone who’s never been.

Took over an hour for our 3 pizzas to arrive. 2 sets of customers arrived, ate & left at the table next door in the time we were waiting, and everyone else seemed to be getting their food quickly. There was no apology when we asked if our food was on the way after 50 mins, we were just told the restaurant was very busy. It arrived about 20 mins later. We would have appreciated it if they acknowledged the long delay rather than implying we were being impatient. Pizza was delicious!

The pizza was undercooked, chewy, poorly topped. They forgot to put peppers in my veg special, they added them later but the result was an unfortunate mix. I wasn't impressed with the pizza at all. I won't go back.

Small cosy pizza place. The pizza is good and cooked in a wood-burning oven. Prices aren't that expensive either.

Great pizza option for those that are gluten/dairy free but can deal with cross contamination. I am not a vegan so it’s great to be able to have a pizza with meat on but still have vegan cheese all on a gluten free base. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was great!

Nice Pizza place near to South Kensington Station. Ordered 4 pizzas, all of which were superb. Waiting time was acceptable and the general layout was nice and clean. Only criticism is the lack of proper glasses. They advertised and sold Prosecco but it came in a small water glass. They literally have one style of glass for every drink. If I’m going for Prosecco or a cocktail I expect it to come in a proper glass. The server was obviously a trainee and fairly new. Service was good but could have done with a bit more personality and friendliness. The main manager was very good and clearly customer focussed. Overall very nice. Great food and the price was reasonable too. Would return if we were in the area

Ordered a single basic margerita pizza for a takeaway. Was given an estimated preparation time of 10 mins. Got my pizza after 40 mins. 2/3s of an hour of me waiting for my pizza! Dine-in customers were given preference. Waitors were not so approachable (when I simply wanted to ask about my pizza's ETA). Probably a busy time which I totally understand but why false promise a customer and then sort of ignore their concerns?

Fabulous pizza, great service and atmosphere. On a Monday night it was really busy and lots of locals which is a good sign for any restaurant.

The purpose of this is to make a serious complaint about a staff member at the South Kensington branch. At about 3pm ish today myself, my 6 month old daughter, my friend, her partner and 6 their month son entered the premises to have lunch. There was only one group of people sat eating and the rest of the restaurant was empty. We asked the lady which i’d describe as white with short dark hair to be seated in which she was completely rude and shocking towards us complaining about us having prams and that other customers wouldn’t be able to sit because of them! Now firstly I was in actual shock. Since when in 2023 is it an offence to have prams and children? In the past 6 months since having my baby I have received nothing but help and sincerity when trying to find the best positions for prams. Secondly there was only one group present. It wasn’t busy at all! She then offered us seating but said we could only stay for an hour! What absolutely disgusting poor customer service is this? Since when are you restricted to eat because of prams! I told her how she treated us was rude and dismissive and we would be leaving. She did not care! I’m not to sure whether she was having a bad day but it was not appropriate to speak to two parents like this! What makes it even worse is that it wasn’t even busy! We was looking forward to having our lunch here. She completely ruined that and the rest of afternoon. I do hope to receive an apology for such poor service! I look forward to hearing back from you and most definitely from her. I do hope this prepares any families for making any plans to attend this venue. I cannot comment on the food as of course I didn’t even get a chance to order.

A truly wonderful pizza at great value in central London. Service was a bit slow but they were rammed and South Ken is a really small restaurant compared to Kilburn

Went there after a while but it seems the place is getting worse. First, we had to wait almost 40 mins to be served, with all the deliveroo drivers getting priority. Moreover, the quality is not the same and prices are up. Not sure I would go back, fyi we were in South Kensington, London.

Tried a couple pizza places while in town, and this place was delicious, probably the best crust we had. The sourdough flavour is subtle yet present with every bite! I dont remember the name but there was a mushroom pizza white a white base that knocked my taste buds out of the park!

Can't say I've ever had a bad experience at Franco manca, and this was no exception. Lovely pizza at affordable prices. Perfect!

Je vis dans le quartier et je trouve que les pizzas sont pauvres en ingrédients. De plus, ils servent le vin dans des verres à eau. Piège à touristes. Je vous recommande de plutôt aller à l’Italien de Glendower street à 100m.

The prices are very fair and the pizza was tasty!! you won‘t have any problems getting something vegetarian as well:) you can get tap water for free💕 the music was quite loud, so if you are looking for a really quiet place for some deep conversations, consider going to another restaurant :) but all in all we had a great time 🌟

I went there with friends and family. We sat at table 1 We have ordered pizzas and salad The salad was delicious and worth every penny but the pizzas were burned and dry. The waitress gave us a bill for table of 12 at first and didn't even us about service charge.

Il locale è piccolino e lo spazio tra un tavolo e l'altro è davvero minimo, ma la pizza è buona per essere a Londra, quindi se qualche volta avete voglia di pizza e siete in zona, il locale è da provare.

Me encantan estas pizzerias, la conoci en Bristol y ahora en Londres, la comida es muy elaborada y ves como estan haciendo tu pizza, el personal muy atento, te ponen tu botella de agua gratis algo de agradecer. Tienen variedad de pizzas, pasta y antipasti. Muy recomendable, es un acierto ir a Franco Manca

The pizza wasn't hot and the flavors weren't really there. It was better in other branches though. It was quite noisy as well but overall it was fine

La miglior pizza VERAMENTE italiana a Londra. Molto molto buona. Per i turisti italiani, il pizzaiolo è dei nostri e molti dei loro camerieri parlano anche italiano :) Anche le schiacciatine sono più che consigliate!
