Elegant. Chic. Tasty food. Lovely place in Duke of York Square where I hosted a small group of two after a business meeting. Staff were very attentive and friendly. They catered for my allergy requirements and vegetarian food request. The wine was extraordinary and we had a very nice meal. Do try the courgette fries on the side. Rare to find these days but they are one of my favourites. Perfect setting for a romantic meal, with friends or business contacts. Would definitely come again soon.

The restaurant came highly recommended and certainly didn't disappoint on any level: quality and presentation of food, ambiance and friendly, warm service. We will be back!

Some of the most delicious pasta I’ve had in London. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, really fine dining Italian. Good size portions even though it is expensive no doubt. I’m not one to splash on pasta but having tried Manicomio now, I may change my mind about this. Very unique pasta in my opinion. Location is beautiful on Duke of York Square, nicer than the one in The City I reckon.

We attended Manicomio Chelsea for a Formal Business Meeting in their private dining area and our experience was phenomenal. Two waitstaff were attentive but discrete, food and menu choices were incredible and the overall restaurant ambiance was impeccable. 10/10 - would recommend

I booked the conservatory for a birthday lunch. The atmosphere, food, wine and service were excellent - can’t recommend Manicomio too highly.

I hosted my 30th birthday at Manicomio Chelsea in the private dining room and couldn't recommend it more! Ahead of the evening they were so organised and couldn't have been more helpful, they had a private dining form where you could pick everything in advance to make the day so smooth, and were more than happy to let me customise the stationary to make it extra special. Everyone raved about the food and the service, it was very impressive to be able to cater to a group of 25 to such a high standard, all with great service. If you are looking for a space to host a larger dinner party, would highly recommend.

It was way too noisy to hold a decent conversation. Really sad because the food was great. Just not enjoyable because of the noise.

Simply delicious. By far my favourite Italian restaurant in London!

Cosy and friendly. The perfect place to meet a friend and catch-up with a friend, plus lovely staff who are also efficient in the true Continental style. And the bonus is that with carpeting and banquets, hearing is not a problem!

The restaurant has just reopened and it was a real joy to return for dinner. The choice of food on, what was called a "Limited Menu", was very appealing and the fish that we both ordered was perfectly cooked - not too much ! The service was excellent with a supportive and charming team. We had a delightful evening there and will return soon.

I ordered steak tartar because I always have at manicomio and it was awful not made as before, it seemed to be just raw mince no flavour. The rest of the meal was good.

A real treat to find an authentic Sardinian restaurant that makes its own pasta. Really tasty food in superb surroundings. A good wine selection from Italy.

Excellent food and service. We usually go in the warmer weather and dine on the lovely terrace. Tonight we dined inside in the conservatory: lovely room. The service is genial and efficient. The food is scrumptious: the seafood saute- langoustine, prawns, baby squid in a slightly spicy tomato sauce-- was outstanding. It's served with a hearty bread for soaking up the delicious sauce. Excellent zucchini fritti. Good and affordable wine list. The best choice if you are going to the Royal Court or in the Sloan Square neighbourhood. We've never been disappointed and will definitely keep going back.

Went there for late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Highlights were delicious carbonara, short ribs, and amazing zabaglione. Wine was reasonably priced, given the location. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

Wonderful meal here. Very attentive staff were happy to seat us outside, contrary to our booking of an indoor table. They customised overhead heaters to suit us in the very pretty patio area. I had a gorgeous bowl of seafood tagliatelle (fresh, not dried pasta) and my daughter had the venison gnocchi which was a lovely rich ragu, but might have been nicer slow cooked and pulled. Good strong coffee too. Expensive fare, due to location too, of course, but worth it in my opinion.

Absolutely perfect lunch with great food and excellent service. I took the linguini lobster that I love, this was absolutely perfect. Their Tiramisu is also one of a kind. I had my lunch outside on the terrace which is heated and this was outstanding.

Unfortunately not what I expected. Service was great, atmosphere beautiful and the restaurant in general is gorgeous. However, the food especially the pasta was dreadful to say at least. We ordered the carbonara dish and it was so overcooked, barely any pancetta, the sauce was unseasoned and just bland. Very disappointing for an Italian place, how can’t you not cook pasta properly? And for the price you are paying it’s just unacceptable, 26£ it’s insane. I wanted to return the dish but my friends stopped me cause I was so mad and didn’t want to escalate things. We also had the yellow tuna fish carpaccio, which was great, and the chicken milanesa which was ok nothing special. Honest we are not talking about an authentic Italian restaurant, but an overpriced restaurant that’s just cute on the paper. Definitely not visiting again.

I had dinner with my girlfriend at Manicomio, we were served by Andreea and she was the absolute best! Food and ambience were very high standard. Andreea made the experience by giving great recommendations; being attentive; and generally very hospitable!

My husband and I just loved Manicomio Restaurant. Everything was perfect. I do recommend it!!We wil come back, for sure!!!

Great spot for a relaxed atmosphere away from the busy Kings Road. Delightful seating outside of Duke of York’s square great menu and very helpful staff even on one of what I expect is their busiest week of the year the service was faultless!

Upmarket Italian restaurant. Food was high quality & service very professional. Prices reflect that and the area so at the higher end. Not the sort of atmosphere for me - a little too formal - but I can’t fault the excellent food or slick service. They’ve got a big outdoor seating area at the front too. Had the king prawn Caesar salad to start. Massive juicy prawns in a tasty Caeser dressing. For mains, the pan-fried halibut was delicious - chunky flakes of well-cooked fish, and a big piece too.

Highly recommend ordering the carpaccio for a starter!

I really enjoyed a Sunday lunch sitting outside, it reminded me home, having lunch in Italy sitting outside in a local square! We ordered some prosciutto and burrata which was great. I ordered lobster pasta which was delicious and very generous with the lobster, but way too much parsley which actually ruined the taste. It won’t stop me going back though- next time I’ll just ask for no parsley!

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting

On the positive side , a convenient and magical location with out door tables and fairy lights . Reasonable , but overpriced menu, but eating on a Monday night, a very empty restaurant , but felt bullied by the officious waiting staff, reaching over to remove glasses , trying to squeeze behind chair to pick up plate or throw down extra cutlery. Very intrusive service - and then a subtle FIFTEEN % service charge for a bit of burnt cauliflower and KFC ! Not good

To be honest I didn’t try the food but the rude hostess put me off. Wouldn’t be coming back there anytime soon.

Great food & service & a lovely atmosphere

I’ve scored this restaurant 3* average as the ladies toilets were a disgrace. They smelt, there were no hand towels, flowers, diffusers in the toilets and the old diffuser that was there was glued to a window sill! The food was average but main dining room was noisy. The staff were simply wonderful, efficient and friendly.

We loved the restaurant, it was great, the food was very nice and the service was fabulous.

I have never seen anyone this rude. Absolutely upset by this type of manner. Never ever going there again and will recommend everyone I know not to go.

Excellent food, beautifully presented. Welcoming and attentive service. If the weather had been a bit warmer, we could have imagined Vermont in Italy... But blankets were provided just in case! A great lunch - to be repeated!

The waiting staff are lovely and the food delicious. Sadly … they were let down by the front of house receptionist who was high handed and frosty. I almost cancelled the booking because of her dismissive air when I stopped by in person to amend the time of arrival. Apparently a salad, fries and drinks does not equal ‘lunch’ and an awkward discussion ensued about her definition of lunch was and what exactly I had to order to justify her permitting me a table for two at midday. Apparently outside tables are only for “guests having a full lunch” A great way to deter customers from returning. I would have been more understanding if they were full to the brim but that wasn’t the case and with the attitude from front of house I can see why. As I said, the rest of the staff including the manager were delightful but really if they have a spend per person then better to be honest and say that rather than have a snooty receptionist tell you what you must eat for lunch!

We just came to have coffee and desert. The place is very nice, team are excellent. Best service. We loved it.

Had the sweet potato gnocchi and I teared up a little bit because it was so delicious. Cannot recommend enough.

Lovely restaurant not far from Sloane Square. Food was ok but did not have a lot of taste, (the monkfish). The truffle pasta was ok. Service was pleasant, expensive!!!

In a nutshell I found the food average. The fact that I also found it over priced wouldn't have been an issue if the food was better. Their flat bread wasn't really bread but instead crispy bits which I wasn't too keen on. Main course aubergine vegan was just o.k and too small. Very few chefs know how to do good vegan food but that's another story. Also noticed portions delivered were different sizes. My wife had chicken which she described as very dry and uneventful. Dessert chocolate caramel: way too sweet. The service was great but I found the presentation of the food oddly dated. They clearly use good ingredients but IMO need to up their game. Just a thought for the future.

The perfect spot for that al fresco lunch when the weather is just right. Glass of Rose in hand, enjoying the freshest ingredients and a spot of people watching thrown in (away from the traffic noise). What more do you want?

Great food and nice atmosphere with an emphasis on outdoor eating. Not a cheap option but what do you expect considering the location. Staff were very accommodating given the volume of people.

Popped here for some cocktails & nibbles and WOW 🤩 the cocktails are devine! Gorgeous table settings and friendly efficient staff! Covered, heated outdoor seats - you can enjoy a few drinks or grub whatever the weather! A great find & highly recommended

Not impressed, ordered cocktails and person who was serving almost poured on us, when I was expecting to receive a freshly made cocktail I received same one with just passion fruit replaced. Service is not so impressive.

A birthday celebration lunch which was disappointing and mediocre . I had the Campenelli pasta which was tasteless despite added Parmesan and pepper. I had passed this restaurant many times and wanted to try it and we wanted to sit outside but we're told it was not possible because of the weather and when we came outside they had seats occupied .

Smooth atmosphere with great choice of drinks and food

Food used to be better. Now its nothing special. I like sitting at garden area and enjoy some drinks with dinner. However they pre cook the meals and keep it warm and then bring it. So its not fully fresh and you can easily tell it.

Love everything about this place. The food, the staff, the drinks, the atmosphere, the location, … everything is perfect to me. Wishing I lived in Chelsea as this would be my local! The specials menu is really good too.

If I could give more stars I would, but to be fare they deserve Michelin star!! The quality of the food is unbeatable, my favourite restaurant used to be Gauchos, but they’ve definitely taken there place. I was greeted by Ronel the host who was extremely accommodating and seated us before they were actually open for dinner service. Her customer service is delightful. I ordered my favourite cocktail a pawn star and I was definitely was not disappointed. My waitress Judyta is instagram beautiful. She was extremely attentive and knew the menu so could answer the questions I had. For start I had the beef tartare with quail egg and for main I had the calves liver with mash and vegetables on the side. The service here is also something that on that alone I will be back. Adam the manager is very personable, we had good conversations and he elevated our experience. I can’t recommend this place enough so if your ever in Chelsea this is the Only place to eat and drink! I would have paid double, best £300 I’ve spent for two people including wine and cocktails. It was the best Tuesday night I’ve had all year!! Can’t wait to go to there city branch.

Terrible for families. They shoved us by the front door in the middle of winter - kids freezing - very indifferent attitude towards a family dining experience- £265 wasted. Loads of arrogant staff - Never again.

Lovely experience eating here. The restaurant clearly has high standards for both it's food and dining experience. It is on the expensive side, however it is definitely worth the money. I look forward to going back.

It is a nicely decorated Italian restaurant with a small beautiful garden. Recommend "Grilled Galician Octopus, Chickpeas, Cipolotti, Chili & Rosemary" as the ingredient combination is perfect as an appetizer. I like it as it is slightly spicy and stimulates appetite.. Pasta and risotto are ok. However, it would be better if the flavor of pasta sauce and clam can be blended into pasta. For the risotto, it is cheezy risotto. it would be better if the flavor of mushrooms can be stronger.

We had a great anniversary meal here. The octopus starter was great as well as the tiger prawn tagliatelle. A lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor throughout. Perfect for a date night with interesting new cocktails
