A lovely building on the King’s Road that we were looking forward to visiting. The outdoor seating area is nice enough. That was about the only good thing. Inattentive staff - one ignored us but greeted and seated a woman and kids that came in after us. We did eventually catch a waiter’s eye and he brought menus, but then just left us. The main issue for us was it was uninspiring. The same old food on the menu, much of which isn’t allowed on the ‘fixed price’. To get the ‘offer’ you have to belong to the ‘club’. We’ve had trouble with that before - where you have to pay the bill via the app - for each person separately. On this occasion the app refused to load on our phones - just a blank white screen despite having good 5G signals. I could login via the website but that was also troublesome. We gave up and left - lunch at the pub over the road was better!

Pleasant Sunday at the pheasant, of musical theatre and my continuing exploration of all the varieties of Duo Romana pizzas.

Service was great, very friendly staff. However, the prices are ridiculously expensive, almost 70 quid for 3 Margheritas and a juice is a total rip off.

Avoid. Absolutely not worth it. Second time I’ve been here, the wait time for food is so long. Order incorrect and not as described on menu. Our waitress was lovely, totally not her fault. Won’t be coming again.

Oh my gosh. Ate here on Saturday and just had the most amazing, enthusiastic, kind and helpful waitress called Desiree... I eat at Pizza Express, like, all the time, and she was just the most top notch person in food service I've ever met... So just thought I'd give her a shout out. A lovely experience all round.

A Pizza Express is a Pizza Express, right? Except this one has a nice alfresco walled garden to dine in, fast, polite service, and great food. Definitely worth a go if you happen to be in that part of London.

We ordered at home for dinner last Sunday. Pizza was cold almost no cheese also they forgot one more layer of pizza under it. I cannot describe enough photo should be seen. We ate half of it because we were super hungry but rest of it went to bin. Sadly!!!

Like this Pizza Express very much and often visit when in London. Pizzas are always good but have marked down food by one star as my husband's chicken salad nicoise wasn't up to the standard we've been used to in our many years of eating in this chain. Quality of food was good but less of everything ie a couple of pieces of anchovy, half a boiled egg, scant dressing etc. Understand this is probably to keep prices down but some of us would prefer a slight increase in price for a more satisfying meal. Still happy to highly recommend.

Nice ambience and good pizza. Loved their pizzas, the pepperoni pizza or American Hot. The place is clean and well maintained. Not much of a wait time for the food; if you are hungry, find a Pizza Express!! Staff here could work some more on friendliness or choice of words. "Busy day" is lovely to hear but by now, it can't be be an excuse for Pizza Express. 🙂

Came here for dessert and cocktails. The chocolate fondant was okay, the ice cream was also okay. Honestly dessert was okay, nothing crazy. Cocktails were very good!!! We got the raspberry spritz and berry mojito. The raspberry spritz was better, sweeter. Berry mojito was still very good but I could taste more alcohol.

Romana style pizza is super good!

We went to the live show at The Phaesentry Club. It’s a small and intimate venue that let you enjoy good live music up close to the artists while eating tasty pizza. A great experience!

Love the venue and breezy outside garden space as we have a small dog. Food is great - staff are friendly and service is fast. We enjoy eating here.

Surprisingly good, but a little pricey.

We visited Pizza Express on a busy Sunday evening. Despite the beautiful ambiance and the wonderful service from a hardworking lady outside we were let down by the awful quality of the food. It's a shame that the beautiful atmosphere wasn't matched by the taste of the dishes at all!!!!

The experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. We waited for 7 minutes just to get a table, and once seated, the service was incredibly slow and unresponsive. The staff seemed unpleasant and disinterested. Moreover, the food was served cold and of mediocre quality, especially considering the exorbitant prices. We even had to ask for our change back, which was unacceptable. Overall, it was a thoroughly unsatisfactory dining experience.

Pizza express never fails to deliver. I’ve been going for over 30 years and holds so many fond memories. Our waitress Anna was an absolute superstar. A warm smile, attentive and paid so much attention to our 11 month old daughter. Made the experience so special and we left with big smiles on our faces. We will definitely be coming back. Another amazing night at Pizza Express Live. The Real Thing - live, upfront and personal. Such an amazing venue, I would never give up my membership to this venue! We are lucky to have this in London, a hidden gem 🍕🎤💕. Atmosphere, simply the best you are gonna get in London. Food - you get the normal Pizza Express menu, which happens to be the best pizza's, and their house Chianti goes down really well 🍷

This was Italy in the middle of London. Pizza was perfect, very hospitable, very loud, which I really liked because the Italian flair really came across, I can recommend it to everyone. The name is a bit strange but the food was very good.

I had a great time for my birthday the food was lovely drinks very reasonable our waitress was absolutely lovely very attentive the atmosphere was fantastic. I really like it here and will definitely be returning.

Everything was ok. The upstairs looked nicer than downstairs. Had to call over waiters a few times. Pizzas were ok if a bit thin.

Great staff in this branch, very attentive waiter, also the Pheasantry is a lovely venue. We had a relaxing 1.5hrs prior to a concert at Cadogan Hall.

This is a 6 star establishment. We did a kids' pizza making party on their 1st floor private room on a Saturday morning and it was an amazing experience. 19 3 year olds were somehow entertained and fed with minimal fuss. The venue was accommodating with us attaching some balloons and bringing a cake. Our waiter Lina was an absolute super star and worked so hard at some point I saw sweat running from her brow. All guests young and old (up to 84 years) enjoyed the party more than they thought possible. We will make this a regular haunt to repay what we felt was exceptional service - and this completely without disturbing other guests on the ground floor!

Update March 8, 2024: I have yet to receive a response from the manager about our unfortunate experience. This silence only reinforces the impression that the customer's satisfaction is not a priority for the management team. --- Update 4 December 2023. Having been asked to contact the manager which I have done I have received no response after 3 weeks! - After a visit to the Saatchi Gallery, we chose Pizza Express for our son's favorite dough balls. Initially, the staff was welcoming, and we placed our orders. Unfortunately, while my son's pizza arrived, the dough balls were forgotten. To add to the disappointment, my wife, Mia, was severely burnt by the extremely hot ham on her pizza, an incident that could have been avoided with a caution from the server. In seeking ice for her burn, I encountered a lack of urgency and empathy from the staff, particularly one who dismissed our repeated requests while prioritizing dessert preparation. When the ice was finally provided, it was with reluctance and an attitude that added to our discomfort. The experience was further marred by overhearing the staff speak negatively about the incident and a palpable unease in their service thereafter. Despite this, we finished our meal, which was average in quality - my pizza cold, my wife's too hot, and my son's mediocre. We left without the initially forgotten dough balls and without any acknowledgment of my wife's injury. I prefer to highlight positives and respect the demanding nature of service roles. However, the service at this Pizza Express was notably poor, overshadowing the cozy ambiance of the place. I'm compelled to warn others and urge management to improve their customer care. Regrettably, we won't return, a letdown in such a reputable area.

I was order again the same pica and is bring the same person which bring few days ago . l open a box in front of the delivery person and he saw it all mess inside and he is told me is like that and is gone . l take a picture of the picca and if you have option l will happy to share with you and see what is going on . till there l will not order any more with just eat as people which is work in delivery don't care how delivery a item . thank you .Edmond

Visited for a live show. On entry it was very chaotic and we were stood outside of the room waiting to be seated for ages while the act was doing his soundcheck, which we had paid extra for with the 'VIP' experience. Very rude member of staff that finally showed us to our table, their attitude was appalling!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this place for a kids party! The service provided was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a fantastic time.

We came for my husband’s birthday because we love the pizza and the Manager, Giovanni and waitress, Francesca, were so warm and hospitable.

Horrible experience. Had my sons birthday party here and towards the end the staff were chasing me for payment while still I was saying goodbye to my guests. Wait until my guests leave and then come to me. I am not going to run away! What a disrespect. Never again. A staff member called Giovanni was extremely rude, very loud voice, zero respect despite having customers and guest are around. I had previously asked him nicely to please wait until my guests leave and i will come to him but he still continued. Throughout the whole party, 16children and over 16 adults we only had 1 waiter, her name is Rocio, she was lovely and tried her best regardless it did mean I also had to get involved as it was too much on her.

We attended a Dean Friedman evening downstairs at the Pheasantry. The waiter, Laila, was lovely, but the prawn starter had no taste at all, and our pizzas were overcooked, dried up and burnt underneath. We could not cut them they were so burnt, we had to use our hands to tear them apart. (I had a four seasons) We didn’t make a fuss because we knew they were busy and didn’t want to be a burden, but our bill was over £110 for 2, so now I regret not sending the pizzas back. Dean Friedman was amazing as usual.

Had a childrens birthday and it was fantastic. Francesca was really friendly and accommodating to our needs. We were lucky to have her support! The recently refurbished venue was really lovely too. Thank you to the managers Sonia and Giovanni too.

We booked an Adult Pizza Making & Prosecco evening. The service was amazing. Really friendly staff, very attentive, made it enjoyable, prompt service and pizzas were amazing. Highly recommend for groups looking for a fun alternative night evening. Our Euston was Giovan. Thanks again.

Literally 1 MINUTE after placing my order on Uber eats, I called them to request to take an ingredient out of my pizza and the man says “sorry already in the oven, can’t do that”. I am literally a paying customer asking you to take an ingredient out. Also you’re telling me that in 1 minute, the chef managed to make the pizza and put it on the oven? Literal jokes. I’d give no stars if that was an option.

Visited for the first time on the 22nd of December, our server was so friendly and attentive - 10/10! Food was very good and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back on Boxing Day.

It's Pizza Express. The UK version of Magic Mushroom. Where else in Chelsea could you get quality food for a group of 7 and not remortgage the house? The wait staff was outstanding. Very helpful and attentive to customer needs

The pizza was truly the worst ever. We were in the Jazz club and the pizza was cold, brittle and tasteless 1:10 poor

i loooved the outside area, even tho it was a bit cold, it looks so gorgeous, i was in love! we had to wait for a bit and go inside to ask if anybody could take our order, but it was totally fine and understandable (and there was a really smiley chef who greeted us and asked manager to come, thank you, you are a star) (i also hope that your managers arm is better now and he is fine, take care) unfortunately i didnt ask for our waitresses name, but she was blond and i would say in her 30-40s. she was super friendly! didnt mind to make separate tables for me and my partner (i highly appreciate that, i know, we were a bit of a headache), served us nicely and when desserts arrived even agreed to add some whipped cream on my salted caramel latte. it was really cute! i enjoyed american hot, and my partner - padana with some jalapeños. thank you so much for serving us even though it was kinda late and we were your last customers!💚

The Pizza Express on the Kings Road is a famous old building and very suitable for a restaurant. Nice outdoor seating and live music at weekends.

Went to The Pheasantry tonight upon request from our son for his 4th birthday dinner and had a fantastic experience. Giovanni the host made it so special for him… got us a table inside even though it was slammed, kept checking on us, and got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday. Our waitress was also totally lovely. I wish I had gotten her name but kudos to the whole staff. Well above and beyond! 👏👏👏

I have been to this branch many times and enjoyed it, however, last night was very disappointing. It was our work Christmas outing and most of us used the Festive set menu as it was excellent value for money. When the bill came it was incorrect. The staff were trying to explain how their system calculates the set menu. We were over charged. The team said there is nothing that they could do. It was a very uncomfortable end to our evening. The manager was not very helpful and quite dismissive. There was also an incident whereby the waiter dropped a whole tray of drinks over me. He apologised but did no more. We had to insist when paying the bill that they should give something on the house. After this experience, I will not be returning. I expected more concidering what happened and the way we were made to feel. Shame on you The Pheasantry Team 😠

The place was very busy, especially since it was a saturday evening in the festive season, but the manager Sonia was doing a good job of keeping the place running smoothly and all the food came out promptly.

The Pheasantry makes for a great night out. Obviously, you have to choose an evening when the music is to your taste - but they offer a wide choice. You get a big welcome and the staff are friendly and obliging. If you like an intimate venue with classy music, try the Pheasantry.

Went here two days in a row, because the food was delicious. The doughs balls are a must have. The space downstairs is super nice. Staff is really patient and kind. For the little ones there's a separate menu with different options. Separate vegan menu also available.

We popped into Pizza Express yesterday for lunch, and due to the excellent service received from the young waitress I thought it would be good to add a review. The restaurant itself was really nice and relaxing with a nice view out of the window to the outside space. The pizza's arrived and I must say they were very nice indeed and topped generously with fresh ingredients, It was like going back years when the pizzas served from Pi,za Express were this nice. Only a very small issue was my app didn't process the bill for some reason and I had to pay at the till which was not a problem. If the pizzas are this good I will defently be a regular visitor to the King's Road branch.

We visited this restaurant a week ago. A lovely guy met us at the entrance. He was supportive and let us choose seats. It was a quiet evening around 9 pm. We were serviced by a nice and kind lady. One thing is we're waiting for our bill for a long time. But it's ok, we came and paid inside. Food was good. We took two pizzas at the Romana base and some drinks. I'd like to say thank you to our servers. Definitely we'll be back.
