The food reminded me of Italy🇮🇹 made from scratch and customer service was on top of everything to make sure we were taken care of. The vibe was romantic.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere - couldn’t ask for anything more. Service was very quick, but didn’t feel rushed.

The carbonara was okay (not worth the price, but okay) but the mushroom risotto was really, really bad. Lacked salt and flavour, the rice was overcooked and all stuck together, it was a terrible experience. It really sucks having to pay for bad food, wouldn't recommend Rocca to anyone.

Very tasty Bolognese & Pannacotta, attentive waiter and great value for money! Fresh Parmesan is grated directly over your plate.

Delicious cuisine. Delicious carbonara legs, creamy lasagna and a very pretty setting. Very nice server. Not 5 stars because I asked for bread and discovered on the bill that I was charged £3.20

Milking the system. The staff is placed to work in very difficult conditions and I hope they get the minimum wage..... Some one is trying to make money with minimum spendings.

With all the great reviews we were expecting to have a better experience but the food was really plain with no flavouring and the pasta was way over cooked and the ravioli were undercooked as an Italian wouldn’t recommend

Was a bit wary upon entering as restaurant was pretty full. This however made no difference. Plently of super efficient staff were working. Food was excellent and atmosphere very enjoyable. One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever come across and bonus since it was my birthday meal. Well done.

Excellent Italian restaurant address

This place leaves a lot to be desired. Popped in with family for dinner after visiting the Science Museum next door. Regrettably the customer service was appalling. In fact, we received better customer service in the cafe of the museum. Two dispassionate waiters asked us minutes after taking our seats whether we are ready with our choices. On one occasion this happened from behind the reception counter without even approaching the table. Staff were continuously upselling to the point of embarrassing. The meals could have turned the experience around, but the food was just a let down. Whilst the service was speedy, all our five meals (risotto, salad and pasta dishes) looked like they had been dished out beforehand and were awaiting service since lunch. I suggest head over to Franco Manca next door for a simpler but much tastier menu and a truly friendly experience.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and nice. I went there with a friend for a random lunch and we were pleasantly surprised! Had the mushroom ravioli with butter sauce which was delicious! Also had profiteroles for desert and those were the best I had in a while! Definitely an Italian place I would recommend.

Favourite Italian restaurant in London. Keep coming back back because of the food and staff. It is worth the 1 hour drive, every single time. Always look forward to eating here and have never been disappointed.

Authentic feeling Italian restaurant with an extensive selection of options. The pizza and lasagna were a hit, however, the ravioli and its gravy-tasting sauce were not great. Overall, some hits and misses. Service and ambiance were great.

We have just had a lovely evening meal at rocca in South Kensington, the staff were so lovely and friendly and the food was amazing. As tourists this really made our little short weekend trip so a massive thank you to everyone working this evening! We had a kids margarita pizza, main meal lasagne and they did a special GF vegan arabiata for me which was lovely. We will absolutely be coming back when next visiting the area!

I went with my two daughters to eat dinner for my birthday and it turned out to be embarrassing and bad experience.I ordered a well done steak and my older daughter a rare one .My steak was burned on the surface and on the inside was not cooked.The recipe was creamy steak and the only thing I did not see was cream ,but instead watery thing moving on the plate .I thought about it not to say anything at all but finally decided to speak to someone so I could order something else because I was hungry .The waiter came and I started the sentence by saying I’m sorry I’m so sorry for saying this but I cannot eat the steak because is burned and not done on the inside can I please order something else instead.He raised the voice by starting to cut the steak with force and anger telling me this is how is done how do u want it what should I do with this now this is wasted and all the tables were looking at us o my good I felt so embarrassed .I asked again embarrassed to a point I was about to cry ,please don’t take it in a wrong way but this smells burned and is burned and the inside is not cooked just don’t worry about it I just want to eat something else .He started to sweat and clean his forehead on top of daughters plate and took mine with such anger and frustration without saying so you want something else?My daughter’s stake on the other hand was all fatty and stretchy she couldn’t even cut the piece ,she felt under pressure about the scene that he did so she ate the vegetables on the side because god no I was not going to say anything this time .I ended up paying 79£ including 9£ service and I went home to eat cos I was hungry .Never going to this place again I’m sorry it used to be one of my favourites but all the staff was changed in there and I don’t think the waiters know how it works being nice with the client .

One of the beat restaurants we have been in London! The dishes were all delicious and the service awesome! I definitely recomend this Italian restaurant to everyone in the area!

Great food....family friendly 😊 Good music and delicious Italian food. Portions were perfect and the desserts were very yummy...the Chocolate cake and Tiramisu are an absolute must have.

Best Italian restaurant in South Kensington area in my opinion. Burrata with pesto and olive oil is my favorite plate.

First off....I'm not a fan of Italian food so the fact its 5 across the board for this place is something in itself. The place is lively and bustling but not uncomfortably so, the staff are extremely professional with quick friendly helpful service. The food was fresh and served promptly and hot even when the place was full. I could not fault the pricing at all, quality at a reasonable price.

We found this place after visiting the museums with the kida . it looked busy bit very accommodating. pizzas are freshly made and calamari is crispy. thanks to Ahmet kids had a little laugh 😆. i would higly recommend this place

Rocca became my favourite Italian restaurant. The most delicious pasta that I have ever tried. I also met Ahmed there who cared for me as a queen. Rocca and Ahmed are the dream team ❤️❤️

Reasonably priced, middle of the road restaurant with very friendly staff, a 'Classic Italian'

Randomly walked in after we have visited the museum. The foods were surprisingly good & prices are reasonable. We had ordered Carbonara, Bolognese, Regina & Americana. I have ordered the pizza and it tasted good!

We were a party of 6 looking for a table at the last minute on a Friday evening, after being turned away from two other restaurants the staff at Rocca had a table for us straight away, although they were busy. The food and service was amazing from start to finish. All 6 of us had different mains and we shared 3/4 starters and 3 desserts, all great. We had children and vegetarians in our group. We had 3/4 staff checking on us regularly, bringing water and bread whenever we needed. Everyone from front of house to kitchen was lovely plus the toilets were clean. I'm so glad we ended up here, have been recommending the restaurant to friends and family, and will come back every time we're in the area for museums etc!

Ive been waiting for this meal with my colleagues for so long. They brought my starter out 15 minutes later than the rest of the table. Then they forgot my main... Eventually brought it and it was severely undercooked that I couldn't even chew through it. The manager offered me more food that would be "cooked properly". But that defeats the whole "having a meal together" considering my colleagues are almost finished. I didn't even receive an apology. I'm only giving 3 stars to the server because I feel sorry for her having to deal with that. Manager and kitchen are terrible. Do better guys, a sorry would go a long way

Had Christmas company lunch here, good portion of food, staff were super friendly and accomodating with spotless service and their home made dezzerts were beyond my expectation!

It was an… interesting experience. The food ranged from very average to not great. Two of us finished our meals. Considering that, very expensive for what the food was. The service also wasn’t great. The waitress forget different parts of our order multiple times, and brought one of the main meals out 20 mins before the others. Also not very friendly staff. The best thing was that it was a pretty restaurant. Overall, wouldn’t recommend!

Rocca is a lovely Italian restaurant with a wide range on their menu. I have never had a bad meal there myself and even when I brought a large group of 20 people, no-one had any complaints. The restaurant is very popular, which is understandable, but also their downfall. You sometimes have to queue if it is busy. Normally not for long but this emphasises their popularity. It is not a huge restaurant and when it is full, it gets equally noisy. There is not a lot of space between tables and you might bump into a waitor / waitress if you go out for some air or to use the facilities. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is merely the noise level and lack of space when busy. However, this could be excused by its own success. If you don't mind a little "background noise" and sitting close to people you will have a great experience worth more than 5 stars. Enjoy 😉

Is a lovely Italian restaurant, but for moments, you are so rushed to eat quickly that you feel as if you were in a crowded Chinese restaurant in Soho! Is a shame... some of the waiters are bossy when serving.. food is good, but it is better at their branch in Dulwich Village..

Lived in chelsea all my life, First time at Rocca, and will definitely be going back for sure, hopefully before Christmas, food was excellent and piping hot. My son’s pizza was lovely, And big thank you to our waiter Armed, great smile and very welcoming.

Very friendly staff that were very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and helped select dishes. Food was delicious, tasted fresh and authentic. Restaurant was very clean and the food was served quickly. Wine was great! The Tiramisu and Afogato were both fantastic. A few minutes walk to South Kensington station so I’d recommend it if you’re in the area or want to try some Italian food.

Went here twice with my sister on our mini holiday, the food was amazing, the staff were great, knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. The place was always busy even mid week. If Rocca was in my neighbourhood I’d be broke from eating there every night. If I could give them more stars I would. If you are ever in Kensington you must eat here.

Wish I got names as the staff were very accommodating, friendly and fast to serve us food even as we came before the kitchen closed. Food was very nice and would love to go again and experience all.

It was okay the price are good but the service you cant even talk to the waiter and he respond really bad. And he trying to use the fact that we don’t speak “well English” to put him a tip !

Service was amazing. I had a very big table of 20 and they constantly checked up on our table making sure everything was okay, the food was amazing and they were very helpful in explaining some menu items. The waitress was amazing, her memory honestly really impressed me because she still remembered everyone’s orders and drinks when they were ready. The only thing that took away a star for me is how noisy the restaurant is. Having a conversation was quite difficult.

I am really disappointed because I had complained to the manager about the pasta they brought me the first time but nothing changed the second time-the same overcooked, overly hot pasta arrived to my table. This is why I decided to write this very negative review because I usually have understanding for busy restaurants but after having brought twice a bad meal. I expected at least from them that they removed the plate from the bill. but they didnt.

2nd time I have visited, the first was quieter and a better experience, the staff looked overwhelmed tonight. Waiting for our booked table a waiter came up to us just saying 'tell me, tell me' and we had no idea what he was referring to. Waited 15 mins total to be seated at my booked table and they tried to put 3 of us on a table for 2. They did give us the bigger table after we refused to be squished together. Most of the food was nice, my pizza was bland in taste. My friend asked for more tomato sauce with her (hot) starter and the served her cold tomato sauce which spoilt the rest of the dish and had to be re cooked. The staff were friendly but as I say, seemed over whelmed, in a rush and perhaps the restaurant being a little greedy, packing us all in. I'd perhaps go back for pasta at a quieter time, definitely not a pizza on a Friday

We Had a fantastic time at Rocca, the food was delicious, we enjoyed the services. We been there at the weekend which was full but we found a table right away. The pizaa was amazing both was good choice specially funghi.

Food was great but staff were arguing very loudly behind us. They also added the table beside us to our tab as we said hi to them, so we had to figure out how much each of us would have to pay as they didn’t warn us they would be doing so. While we were figuring out how much we each should pay the younger (40s brunette man) waiter stood behind us and called us “idiots” and berated us in Italian believing that we wouldn’t understand. This used to be a regular spot not unfortunately not anymore as the staff was extremely rude…

Very mediocre place, DO NOT get the torteloni, it is not worth the money and is too oily, my chest was hurting. The tiramisu was nice but the portion was small and looked sloppy. The waiter was very rude and ignored my requests, I ordered a cappuccino with my desert and did not receive the drink. Overall not worth the price.

Wonderful in every aspect. Excellent pasta dishes (particularly the cannelloni). The restaurant has a very authentic feel, with Italian waiters, as well as a traditional range of dishes. To mention more about the staff, we simply must speak about their attentive and professional, yet friendly and chatty disposition. Excellent value for money, especially in London. Hugely recommended.

My wife and I went here on a Sunday and we quite liked how everything was. Food was good, although slightly less flavoured for Indian taste buds. We customised it by adding chilli oil and salt. The staff are good, although they should smile more, I guess. Why so serious? The prices are affordable (12.5% Service tax extra) and work as the primary attraction. Hope they continue to be affordable.

Very nice place with great pizza and ambiance, specially knowing it’s the busiest restaurant but the cheapest compared to the other italians that were empty. The man that greeted us at the entrance was quite friendly and greeted us with a smile, which is something rare these days. Overall lovely place definitely recommend if you’re around the area.
