Authentic Italian food with fresh seafood , great service Terrific value

Visited on for lunch on Sunday and the food was amazing. Great service - would highly recommend!

A friendly waitress, I enjoyed their salmon salad as I only wanted a light meal. Their pasta dishes looked good. A wider choice of beer would be nice, but a good wine list.

Had been to this restaurant years ago and it was nice, went yesterday and it was really disappointing. Food quality and taste was very average. Sadly doesn’t feel italian at all

The food was super tasty! I highly recommend the linguine with pesto it was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was quick, and the waiters were very friendly. And I can’t forget about dessert I chose the tiramisu, and it was amazing. I definitely recommend this place and would come back without a doubt!

Great italian restaurant in London. A true one

Went to Rocca with my family for a celebratory meal and the food was amazing. They had such a variety of food on offer and the staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will absolutely return.

The Americana pizza was tasty Lasagne al Forno very small portion. The place is very noisy, but the service is friendly.

Quite generic Italian restaurant near South Kensington tube. Food is very average. We all had pasta which was OK, although lasagne was drowning in tomato sauce. Largely reasonably priced, with some very cheap options available (£8-9 for a basic pasta). Service simultaneously quite rushed and also slow, as well as feeling quite confused.

Great atmosphere, a bit cramped! Ate there twice, both times the mageritha was excellent the first time, rather boring the second time!

It's OK. Nice enough inside, a bit art deco. Food was ok, not the best I've had, but not the worst. Pizza was ok, tasted a little bit generic. The bread for the bruschetta was a bit burnt, and tasted burnt. Service was good. Price was reasonable, but that's all I can say really. It was reasonable.

Rocca is always a good idea when you want to enjoy Italian cuisine. Pizzas and Pastas are great and you should definitely try their Tiramisu. Great service with great people

I can honestly say I've never been to a more attentive and tasty restaurant than Rocca The staff are on it... they know before you do whether you need a drink or more cutlery but never over bearing There is also an optional 12.5% service charge - it's the only 1 time in my dining out experience where I would happily give more Exceptionally tasty and brilliant 11/10 service I couldn't recommend more.

had a lovely meal here with my sister i had the salmon pasta, absolutely delicious. she loved her pizza too. we also shared some bread for starters, and that was so yummy! service was lovely, our server was kind and efficient. though the tables were quite close together it was worth it for the great food. well priced too.

Just perfect! I had a lovely dinner here one evening. The service was excellent; attentive, friendly, and quick. There are so many options to choose from, including pastas, pizzas, and meat/fish mains. Plenty of veggie friendly options. I tried the spinach and ricotta ravioli, a little bland, but nothing some salt and pepper couldn't help! I will continue coming back here to try more items on the menu :)

Best place when you don't know where to go. They always have space, so if you're a group of 10 and need to find a nice restaurant that everyone will like without a reservation then this is your place. Loads of glutenfree and vegan/vegetarian options, and something for everyone. Been there 8+ times, never been disappointed. Great price too, for great portuons and options.

Fabulous bustling restaurant with great food and truly excellent service. Bruschetta was totally gorgeous and the pizza was amazing, but it was Vasko that stole the show and made our lunch just perfect! This is my new 'go to' in South Ken. 👍👍👍

A restaurant worth visiting. Restaurant was not busy at the time. Food came promptly and was pipping hot. Sadly the waitress did not hear the order properly and it came without certain extras and we did not want to waste or remake it as it was good anyways. Good portions to the price ratio. A bit too high service charge which I would understand when the restaurant is busy and everyone have to run around and be everywhere, but when there is 3 tables in the restaurant, it should not be accounted Overall a pleasant visit.

We went to eat here with 8 people without a reservation. The staff was extremely nice. Rarely have I seen catering staff laugh so much while they had to work very hard. Real Italian people. The food was also very tasty. I would definitely go back if I had the chance.

Good spot. Nice Italian Restaurant near South Kensington station. Well worked pastas. Steak’s green peppercorn sauce was incredible. Good portions. Tiramisu also very good (albeit could be larger). Prices are reasonable. Staff is attentive and efficient.

Myself and my friend visited this past weekend and we had a wonderful time. The service was attentive without being rushed, friendly and helpful. The good of course was fantastic, super authentic and myself and my friend both enjoyed our food, which was a decent portion and which was excellent value for money. We would definitely return!

Delicious food and great prices, especially considering the location. The linguine allo scoglio was fantastic, full of fresh seafood.

We ordered from the lunch deal menu Bruschetta Classica Americana Pizza Linguine Al Pesto A special wine at £28 a bottle was on the table which was very good. All three dishes were lovely - the pepperoni on the pizza was high end and tasted great. Service was top noch and very friendly staff. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will eat here again next time we are in London.

Good standard Italian food . Excellent if you want a quick meal

A pleasant well-priced restaurant with fast and friendly service. The lunch menu of an entree and a main for 12.45 is excellent value.

Mixed feelings as I have been several times and sometimes the experience is totally worth it and some other times its very poor. The bruschetta is good, never disappoints. As for main curses - they often get my order wrong. When they do they it right, carbonara and the radiatori special are good. I wouldn't recommend the bolognese and the linguine allo scoglio. The bolognose doesn't have any flavour, it's insipid and watery. The linguine are so heavy and the fish never seems that fresh - a pasta like that should be simple and savoury. That one is flavourless. For the dessert they have a good selection, the quality is ok but nothing special. The bill is ok given the location. If it was in a different location the food wouldn't be worth the price though.

The place was busy, incredibly noisy to the point of being uncomfortable. We were brought our main course while our first course was still in front of us. My Wife's chicken was inedible, my seafood linguine was an excessive amount of linguine with seafood of poor quality and of suspect pedigree. The shared salad was largely rocket with a quartered tomato and a few strips of shaved carrot. They boast "the best tiramisu in London" but it was very wet and tasteless. I don't think that we will be back any time.

We went there n Sunday much time even though it was busy we were seated very quickly. Ahmed was friendly and fast and the pizzas are very tasty. Kids can have sma pizzas which is great. Highly recommend

It's a regular haunt of mine and my most recent visit there were 10 of us. We hadn't booked but they were able to give us a table.

Really good, but for me with the Carbonara it could have been a bit more. The wine was good and the meal for four of us was very reasonable.

Booked this place after a visit to a local museum and it was lovely! It felt reasonably priced and food was very nice. The staff were attentive and nice. The food was served quickly and was great tasting. Would definitely come back if in the area!

Had a fantastic lunch at Rocca! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were amazing, so lovely and friendly. We tried the Americana pizza, lasagna, and linguine allo Scoglio—all were excellent, and we highly recommend them. One of the staff recommended the tiramisu, and we’re so glad they did—it’s an absolute must-try! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Por primera vez en mi vida tuve espaguetis « falsos » vongole (vongole = almejas ) : conchas blancas vacías limpias en un lado del plato para la decoración y un poco de carne mezclada con la pasta, probablemente carne de almeja enlatada. Supongo que las cáscaras vacías fueron lavadas de nuevo para el próximo cliente. Absolutamente deshonesto.

Definitely a hidden gem , excellent food and service and not expensive

Nice restaurant in South Kensington. Steak was alright, chips were tasty as were the root vegetables as a side dish. Pecan caramel cheese cake as dessert was also decent.

A quick Google search for a fine Italian restaurant, close to South Kensington Tube Station found this little gem. Even though there was a show on at the Royal Albert Hall and the museums were just closing, as this one is a little off the main tourist area, it was not packed out, so we were able to get a table. Great service: attentive, polite, yet humorous. Relaxed, too, as no rush to clear the table for any other diners. The food options were great and extremely tasty. I had the chicken special and my wife had the chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce. Delicious. Torn between choices. And the Tiramisu? Oh. My. Days! Light, tasty and if I had room, I would have had a second slice! Thanks guys. Great find

Everything about Rocca was terrible, the food was badly cooked with pasta stuck together. The service was terrible with dishes served at haphazard times and 15-20 mins between the first and last dish. The staff choose to lie about orders being placed at different times rather than apologising. Truly terrible experience.

Very warming place. All servers were super friendly and weren't shy to engage with clients. When server heard people singing happy birthday, he came and sang too. They joke and ask smalltalk questions. Food was served quickly, and even margherita pizza have been really good. I can also recommend their homemade lemonade. Will certainly go back on my next visit to London!

Excellent site. Charming staff. Relaxed vibe. I went for lunch with a friend. Neither of us were hungry, but the prawns and mussels we ate were pleasant enough. The bread dough was good 😊. Negronis cost £10 and are a bit on the mean side. Recommended for its location and cool, easy going staff. The staff speak several languages; fantastic for tourists from abroad.

Italian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, good treatment from the waiters and very fast service.

Lovely ambiance. Husband got carbonara and I got the rigatoni. We were curious about it as it was near our hotel and we are in a journey to find the best carbonara outside Italy. I wouldn't say it was lackluster but it was not unforgettable that's it. Lovely interior though!

Wonderful - we're going to be in London for a week and I've been there twice. Everything is good - food, atmosphere and service. The most unusual thing was that we went into the restaurant because someone saw us on the street looking at the menu and said: come in, it's really good, my favorite restaurant. It's become my favorite in London too.

Questo ristorante è veramente italiano al 100%! Partirei subito con il fare i complimenti al personale, il quale sa come far sentire un cliente a proprio agio, sia nell’accoglienza che nel servizio che risultano essere estremamente rapidi, curati e disponibili. Il menù è veramente vasto ed include tutte le pietanze italiane più prelibate. Le porzioni sono veramente super abbondanti e se messe a paragone con il prezzo, il rapporto è veramente ottimo! Nell’arco di 6 giorni di permanenza a Londra, ci siamo recate in questo ristorante per ben 3 volte, è stato un vero dispiacere aver dovuto lasciare le loro prelibatezze. Veramente consigliattismo!!! Excellent Italian restaurant with various options of starters, pasta, pizza, side dishes and desserts🍕we tried the pasta (truffle fettuccine & tomato and basil rigatoni) and I must say that we finally ate Italian after a few days in London🫂 Extremely friendly staff, strategic location if you are coming from the natural history museum or from all over Kensington. We didn't try the pizza, but the pasta was very good. Highly recommended tiramisu✨

The food was okay. I had the spaghetti and it was good. The service by Salvatore was wonderful. He was attentive but didn't hover. The pizza my boyfriend got was fantastic. We loved the cheese garlic bread and the prices can't be beat. Highly recommend this place!

El restaurante es bonito y tiene un ambiente agradable, pero la lasaña al forno era una broma. Después de que ordené, una cuchara grande de la mesa se añadió a la configuración de mi lugar. Parecía extraño. Cuando llegó mi comida, estaba claro por qué recibí una cucharada. Básicamente recibí un pequeño plato de salsa de carne con un poco de queso encima. NO había ninguna pieza de LASAÑA al horno. Había dos trozos diminutos y vacíos de pasta hervida. Cada pieza era de aproximadamente 1 pulgada. ² La salsa no estaba mal, pero NO había lasaña. La lasaña es una de mis comidas favoritas y la he comido en muchas ciudades y países, pero nunca he recibido nada que se parezca a esto. Nunca recomendaría Rocca di Papa.

Best lamonede, oil and Santa Claus

Went there on a Tuesday without a booking as a group of teenagers and was greeted with such grace and enthusiasm. Didn't feel judged during our entire time there, including when we couldn't pronounce the names of the dishes. The service was the best we had ever had, with entertaining and charismatic staff and the food was amazing. They hand-grated cheese table side when our Lasagna came out, gave pizza oils and seasonings and brought cleaning and shell dishes for the seafood pasta. To end, we had the tiramisu and it was honestly the best I had ever had. The sponge was fluffy and coated in coffee but not soaked and the cream was sweet and airy. Could not recommend this place more, its truly amazing and would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Good parmigiana di melanzane and galletto al mattone. Good burrata but I was expecting it as per the menu with pickled onion and instead it only had half a grilled tomato and grilled sourdough slice on a bed of oil, so much I couldn't eat the bread as it was soaked in oil. I found the menu on the website different from what I got and also different from the downloaded pdf, basically they've got three menus (very confusing if you are planning ahead). Pizza was not Neapolitan style so I didn't really like it, I found it dry and a bit hard to eat. The lobster tortelloni were amazing. The tiramisù was very good and came in a big portion! It's unfortunate that there are some foreign influences (probably to sell more) which make this restaurant a bit on the tourist side and less authentic (e.g., cream in pasta dishes, cheesecake, salad served together with the main in the same plate) which makes sense for the area it's in. The espresso was not bad which is a win in itself. Service was great and very fast (it was not busy when I got there). I would give half a star more but cannot give 4.

We booked this restaurant from a Google search. We knew nothing about it as we were new to the area. What a fab place! Great atmosphere, the food was very fresh. The service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable for fresh pasta and pizza. We would definitely go there again.

Booked early and ate in here after a show at the Albert Hall. A really nice atmosphere with friendly staff taking care of us. Food was amazing, prawn linguine was a special on the day and recommended! Price in here was also a surprise.. Very reasonable for London!! Thanks, and we'll be back again

A nice Italian restaurant near South Kensington station. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is good too. Arancini was slightly under seasoned, but very crunchy and nice. The selection of bread was really good. The pasta with pesto sauce was OK. It was good, but I’d prefer a bit punchier seasoning. But then, I am picky when it comes to pesto. For a proper sit-in restaurant, the price tag is reasonable. I would happily go back and try other dishes.

The food is delicious and authentic, I ordered the calamari, salmon fettuccini and tiramisu. All exceeded my expectations! The staff are friendly and joke with the customers, really good service. Nice atmosphere and it’s very affordable especially for a location like south Ken. Highly recommend
