Had a fantastic lunch at Rocca! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were amazing, so lovely and friendly. We tried the Americana pizza, lasagna, and linguine allo Scoglio—all were excellent, and we highly recommend them. One of the staff recommended the tiramisu, and we’re so glad they did—it’s an absolute must-try! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Definitely a hidden gem , excellent food and service and not expensive

Nice restaurant in South Kensington. Steak was alright, chips were tasty as were the root vegetables as a side dish. Pecan caramel cheese cake as dessert was also decent.

A quick Google search for a fine Italian restaurant, close to South Kensington Tube Station found this little gem. Even though there was a show on at the Royal Albert Hall and the museums were just closing, as this one is a little off the main tourist area, it was not packed out, so we were able to get a table. Great service: attentive, polite, yet humorous. Relaxed, too, as no rush to clear the table for any other diners. The food options were great and extremely tasty. I had the chicken special and my wife had the chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce. Delicious. Torn between choices. And the Tiramisu? Oh. My. Days! Light, tasty and if I had room, I would have had a second slice! Thanks guys. Great find

Visited on Wednesday night and everything from the service to the food was great. We ordered both pizza and pasta dishes as well as dessert all of which were exceptional. The staff were also very attentive and friendly - would definitely visit again!

Everything about Rocca was terrible, the food was badly cooked with pasta stuck together. The service was terrible with dishes served at haphazard times and 15-20 mins between the first and last dish. The staff choose to lie about orders being placed at different times rather than apologising. Truly terrible experience.

Very warming place. All servers were super friendly and weren't shy to engage with clients. When server heard people singing happy birthday, he came and sang too. They joke and ask smalltalk questions. Food was served quickly, and even margherita pizza have been really good. I can also recommend their homemade lemonade. Will certainly go back on my next visit to London!

Excellent site. Charming staff. Relaxed vibe. I went for lunch with a friend. Neither of us were hungry, but the prawns and mussels we ate were pleasant enough. The bread dough was good 😊. Negronis cost £10 and are a bit on the mean side. Recommended for its location and cool, easy going staff. The staff speak several languages; fantastic for tourists from abroad.

Italian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, good treatment from the waiters and very fast service.

Lovely ambiance. Husband got carbonara and I got the rigatoni. We were curious about it as it was near our hotel and we are in a journey to find the best carbonara outside Italy. I wouldn't say it was lackluster but it was not unforgettable that's it. Lovely interior though!

Wonderful - we're going to be in London for a week and I've been there twice. Everything is good - food, atmosphere and service. The most unusual thing was that we went into the restaurant because someone saw us on the street looking at the menu and said: come in, it's really good, my favorite restaurant. It's become my favorite in London too.

Questo ristorante è veramente italiano al 100%! Partirei subito con il fare i complimenti al personale, il quale sa come far sentire un cliente a proprio agio, sia nell’accoglienza che nel servizio che risultano essere estremamente rapidi, curati e disponibili. Il menù è veramente vasto ed include tutte le pietanze italiane più prelibate. Le porzioni sono veramente super abbondanti e se messe a paragone con il prezzo, il rapporto è veramente ottimo! Nell’arco di 6 giorni di permanenza a Londra, ci siamo recate in questo ristorante per ben 3 volte, è stato un vero dispiacere aver dovuto lasciare le loro prelibatezze. Veramente consigliattismo!!! We didn't try the pizza, but the pasta was very good. Highly recommended tiramisu✨

The food was okay. I had the spaghetti and it was good. The service by Salvatore was wonderful. He was attentive but didn't hover. The pizza my boyfriend got was fantastic. We loved the cheese garlic bread and the prices can't be beat. Highly recommend this place!

El restaurante es bonito y tiene un ambiente agradable, pero la lasaña al forno era una broma. Después de que ordené, una cuchara grande de la mesa se añadió a la configuración de mi lugar. Parecía extraño. Cuando llegó mi comida, estaba claro por qué recibí una cucharada. Básicamente recibí un pequeño plato de salsa de carne con un poco de queso encima. NO había ninguna pieza de LASAÑA al horno. Había dos trozos diminutos y vacíos de pasta hervida. Cada pieza era de aproximadamente 1 pulgada. ² La salsa no estaba mal, pero NO había lasaña. La lasaña es una de mis comidas favoritas y la he comido en muchas ciudades y países, pero nunca he recibido nada que se parezca a esto. Nunca recomendaría Rocca di Papa.

Best lamonede, oil and Santa Claus

Went there on a Tuesday without a booking as a group of teenagers and was greeted with such grace and enthusiasm. Didn't feel judged during our entire time there, including when we couldn't pronounce the names of the dishes. The service was the best we had ever had, with entertaining and charismatic staff and the food was amazing. They hand-grated cheese table side when our Lasagna came out, gave pizza oils and seasonings and brought cleaning and shell dishes for the seafood pasta. To end, we had the tiramisu and it was honestly the best I had ever had. The sponge was fluffy and coated in coffee but not soaked and the cream was sweet and airy. Could not recommend this place more, its truly amazing and would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Good parmigiana di melanzane and galletto al mattone. Good burrata but I was expecting it as per the menu with pickled onion and instead it only had half a grilled tomato and grilled sourdough slice on a bed of oil, so much I couldn't eat the bread as it was soaked in oil. I found the menu on the website different from what I got and also different from the downloaded pdf, basically they've got three menus (very confusing if you are planning ahead). Pizza was not Neapolitan style so I didn't really like it, I found it dry and a bit hard to eat. The lobster tortelloni were amazing. The tiramisù was very good and came in a big portion! It's unfortunate that there are some foreign influences (probably to sell more) which make this restaurant a bit on the tourist side and less authentic (e.g., cream in pasta dishes, cheesecake, salad served together with the main in the same plate) which makes sense for the area it's in. The espresso was not bad which is a win in itself. Service was great and very fast (it was not busy when I got there). I would give half a star more but cannot give 4.

We booked this restaurant from a Google search. We knew nothing about it as we were new to the area. What a fab place! Great atmosphere, the food was very fresh. The service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable for fresh pasta and pizza. We would definitely go there again.

Booked early and ate in here after a show at the Albert Hall. A really nice atmosphere with friendly staff taking care of us. Food was amazing, prawn linguine was a special on the day and recommended! Price in here was also a surprise.. Very reasonable for London!! Thanks, and we'll be back again

A nice Italian restaurant near South Kensington station. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is good too. Arancini was slightly under seasoned, but very crunchy and nice. The selection of bread was really good. The pasta with pesto sauce was OK. It was good, but I’d prefer a bit punchier seasoning. But then, I am picky when it comes to pesto. For a proper sit-in restaurant, the price tag is reasonable. I would happily go back and try other dishes.

The food is delicious and authentic, I ordered the calamari, salmon fettuccini and tiramisu. All exceeded my expectations! The staff are friendly and joke with the customers, really good service. Nice atmosphere and it’s very affordable especially for a location like south Ken. Highly recommend

I went to Rocca before RAH and we had a great time. The food was fresh , and there is gluten free options which is great . Ahmed was friendly and great to explain the menu . Definitely will be back when we are around .

Authentic Italian cuisine at the highest order . Simple but delicious and fresh ingredients of authentic Italian cooking. From the appetizers Burrata to Galicia breads to the Italian pizzas , to the Bolognese Fettuccine, some with great flavor. The seafood linguine was also delicious. Overall atmosphere is great with a cozy dining room experience. Has great selection of wines and other drinks . Dessert Panna cotta was delicious as well .

Hi all, this is lovely restaurant with family run vibe. Good service and food as a great authentic italian taste. Visited it twice over two weekends. Not overly priced given you are in south Ken. Recommended.

Beautiful place and service was decent however the food was underwhelming. On top of that there is a 12% discretionary surcharge that is added to the bill. Wouldn’t be my top recommendation however, a decent place for something average.

Lovely place for a tired traveler to come to for a late lunch after a 10 hour flight! Atmosphere is very nice and the food was delicious. Our table had the linguini with seafood, lasagna and risotto and all was excellent. Would definitely come back again.

After lovely time in museum we were walking by this restaurant although from outside it’s looks expensive for our surprise price were very pleasant. It was our first time but for sure not the last one. We tried the special pizza and pasta they were superb and for our little one we had smaller size pizzas . Food was fantastic and also deserts especially tiramisu . Overall atmosphere was amazing staff very welcoming and friendly . Highly recommended We will be back

Excellent dinner place, very nice ambience, loved it!

Dining on a Friday evening meant there was a lovely atmosphere even though we sat down at 5pm. We ate the arancini and the caprese salad, carbonara and spaghetti bolognaise, and shared the tiramisu. The food was nice overall but the caprese salad was lacking - lots of tomatoes but one small slice of cheese with a few olives on the side, they only grated a small amount of Parmesan on the pasta even though we asked for more, and the arancini did not have the cheesy middle I was expecting as is usually the case. Also, although the staff were attentive, as we arrived at 5pm when they were quiet, we were asked 7 times in 10 minutes of arriving if we were ready to order our food although we repeatedly asked if they could slow down. So this was not a great start to the experience. Would recommend, but book in advance.

I was at the science museum with my grandchildren and they wanted pizza so we came to Rocca by chance and was served by A gorgeous Turkish gentleman who not only gave a 100 percent service made us laugh we felt so welcomed , we ask had the Regina pizza which was excellent , thank you so much .

We went there after the show and the place was close to our hotel , the food was really fresh and it felt like we were in Italy, the service was great especially Ahmit made us so welcoming and makes you feel you are at home , definitely will be back when we are in London

Great spot for a late dinner! Every other restaurant in the area was closing (around 9:30/10pm) so we wandered here and were super happy with the food (our favorites were the rice balls, mozzarella, and ravioli) and service. Will definitely go back.

I went there on a Friday. The waiter dropped lasagne on a customer and was not even apologetic. Moreover he gave us half a portion of lasagne and pretended that he didn’t notice it. Even after they bought out a second one which was marginally bigger, the lasagne was very poor quality. It was as if they had bought it from Aldi and heated it up. There were more layers of pasta than beef. I also ordered a crab linguini and there were 5 small flickers of crab in there. They said they can put more crab and admitted that this was not right. After all this they had the audacity go charge me service charge on my bill which I refused to pay. To be honest they should be embarrassed to bring me a bill after the food was so bad and the service so so poor. I have had 2 good experiences here in the past but I will never return.

Visited for dinner on Friday 4th October and had one of the greatest customer service experiences of the year. Fantastic, attentive waiters, with their finger on the pulse looking to make the experience memorable. Drinks arrived swiftly upon being seated, we were offered guidance around the menu and the food was delicious. Exactly what I was looking for, delivering the basics at a high level. Great job. Thank you, we're looking forward to returning in the near future.

Really enjoyed our experience at Rocca today - nice ambience, good selection of food on the menu, and we enjoyed our selections. The service was especially good - the staff noticed our toddler was enjoying a plate of olives we had ordered (with stones, so we were carefully pitting them), and brought a complementary bowl of pitted ones just for him!

We celebrated the birthday of a friend from London as a group. It's probably not the best Italian restaurant in London, but it's one of the good ones. Deep, but pleasant room, attentive service, truly quality Italian cuisine. Good choice of quality wines.

Great food with so many choices!

We were visiting London and were heading out for a pint and some pub grub. Rocca was right down the street from our hotel, and Italian sounded like a nice change of pace instead. Great choice! If you’re looking for white table cloths and expensive bottles of wine, this isn’t it. But it isn’t your average pizza place either. Good food with lots of choices, an outstanding staff, and reasonably priced, considering the location.

This was an okay experience, the food was okay. We ordered a pasta and pizza, both were not impressive but can’t say bad! Service was mixed, a male host was welcoming and nice, then a waiter was very rude with bad attitude! Then we had a very friendly and welcoming waitress looking after our orders. We complained to the male host from the guy waiter attitude, he apologised and I think asked the male waiter not to serve our table. Overall, this was our first time here and I don’t think we will come back.

We went to this restaurant with 5 adults during our visit to London. We ate pasta and pizza. Everyone in our group was completely satisfied with their meal. For my part I was able to eat pizza and pasta and I was very satisfied, very good taste, tasty and very reasonable price for London! Good service and good atmosphere!

Terrible price to performance ratio. The portions were tiny and the food tasteless. I can't comment on the Pizza but the Pasta is shockingly bad (we ordered the carbonara, the tortelloni and a pasta dish of the day).

I got a burrata pesto rocket pizza. The waiter suggested to add mozzarella to it too, and thank go he did. The burrata was more of a ball of bad mozarella…it was not soft or spreadable from the inside. There was barelyyy any pesto either. It was basically just a overpriced margaritas as I spent 3£ extra to add cheese😭 but the staff was friendly
