We went there for special occasion and picked lunch time when restaurant offers lunch set menu. Food was delicious and presented beautifully but the service is always the key and us girls did feel we have been looked after. Definitely coming back.

Service so slow! We arrived at 6.30 and left at just before 10! My friend ordered a Calzone which I’m assuming takes a long time to cook as both my friend and I were served cold pasta and pork belly. I sent mine back and it came back 10 mins later with the plate hot like it had been in the microwave, I was so disappointed, we were really looking forward to it but the food and service were just shocking! We won’t be back! :0(

Lovely classy restaurant but with a relaxed feel. Waiting staff friendly and helpful. The food was all delicious and arrived quickly as I stated we had a theatre booking . I has seafood pasta which was really tasty and was a large portion and finished off with my favourite desert - tirimasu. One minor complaint, my friend wasn't keen on her espresso martini, it tasted rather bitter but the bottle of rose prosecco was delicious!

We went there with my wife as a closing to our after-wedding euro trip. The food was amazing and Carlos delivered an excellent customer service explaining the allergies to my wife, assuring we get everything correctly. I definitely recommend to visit this place if you fancy some great Italian food!

Following a friend’s recommendation, my wife and I chose this lovely venue for our anniversary. Starters and cocktails were just amazing. The carbonara I had reminded me a great one I had many years ago back in Rome when I visited. We also shared this magnificent Tiramisu and we enjoyed being served by this enthusiastic young waiter named Carlos. What a memorable night! Thank you for this piece of Italy at the very heart of London.

Staying at the ME and concierge recommended this restaurant. We went. They didn’t have the wine we wanted on the menu. They don’t have the chicken we wanted. The appetizer we ordered had no flavor. Daughter ordered a burger and fries. Was cooked poorly and they had no katsup. The service was very poor as well. No clue we were dissatisfied. Out of four meals one was ok. The salad. Would not recommend this restaurant. I really think the only reason it survives is because of some relationship with the ME hotel. Lots of choices in this part of London. This would be last on my list.

Just very average. My Mum loves Italian food and we had been to the theatre and thought it might be fun to try Luciano. We shared a Bruschetta to start, not much flavour but ok. My mum had the tagliatelle with basil pesto and prawns, this was far too oily and lacked any real flavour apart from oil. She left quite a lot of the pasta, the waiter asked if she wanted it packed, she said it was too oily and he just shrugged. I had the pasta Alla Norma, which was nice but nothing spectacular. I had ordered a small glass of wine but when the bill arrived they had apparently given me 175cl which is not a small glass! I had drunk it so not much I could say but I felt this was a bit cheeky, the waiter specifically asked if I wanted small or large and I had said small! All in all I have had far better Italian food and actually better service in far cheaper restaurants, so won’t be back!

We went there after a play. The decor is really nice and we went with another couple and our 5 children. The service was great given the number of kids / pre teens. The food was amazing, we really loved and Amanda our waiter couldn't have been nicer. The food exceed our expectations and the kids menu was solid. Very good.

Valeria greeted me at reception,she was very welcoming. I was then served by Camilo, Renato, Daniel. They was very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. The service was fabulous they was very attentive. Everyone had such positive personalities which was so infectious.

2nd visit to this lovely resraurant, and it didn't disappoint. Service was impeccable and all servers had a smile, 5* We had minestrone soup and carpaccio to start, both were very tasty. For main a delicious lasagne and crispy pork belly with beetroot and new potatoes. Simply delicious. Tiramisu to end the meal was divine. All in all a wonderful place to dine and experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic dining experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cozy ambiance made it even better. We had the “piatto di dolci” and it was amazing! A little of every dessert. The drinks were delicious and when requested the spicy margarita a bit more sweet, it was graciously achieved by the bar team! Great service! All the staff were very attentive starting with the lovely hosts who welcomed us very nicely and walked us to our table and made sure to accommodate our requests. To our great server Renato who was very attentive and helpful, who also made sure to fulfill our request, and Carmine who was also very helpful and kind! Absolutely amazed by how all the staff made our night very pleasant!

I came here for lunch with my mom and she loved it so much that we came back the day after. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance by a host who took our bags and coats and stored them in the cloakroom; after that, a waiter took us to our table and briefly introduced the menus. Atmosphere is great - Italian songs in the background definitely a plus, my mum loved that - service is outstanding and staff is polite and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Gianni and Renato for the recommendations: I am not gonna lie, as an Italian I was quite sceptical about the “Risotto Carbonara” but I really enjoyed it. Really good food presentation as well - see pictures attached. In general, the place is great, food portions are just fine (I do not understand the reviews complaining about that) as well as the prices (if you don’t want to spend money for good food, there’s plenty of fast foods in the area!) so I will definitely recommend it!

Great restaurant for pre-theatre dinner - menu is varied and had some great specials as well. Had Scallops for starter, followed by Sea Bass (Branzino) - both were excellent. My daughter had Linguine Vongolle which she gave 10 out of 10. Desserts were very tempting and had a giant profitterole. Nice buzzy atmosphere, very good service, no issue having 3 courses pre theatre in about 90 mins.

I visited this place with my husband and both ordered pasta for mane - over salted . We left plates full. Starters calamari was good but arancini over cooked . Paid £110 for nothing .

We happened upon this place by chance and I had the best eggplant parmesan of my life. It was DELICIOUS, and even the relatively small serving was adequate and so rich and delicious. It should come with a bit of bread for the large amount of pesto on the side. I would go back again if I am back in London. The pasta bolognase was also yummy. Dessert was the cheesecake and good, but not the star of the show.

This place is more style over substance... lovely looking establishment, but the tables are so close it was like the next table we're eating with us. The service was poor, from the hostess who just points to a table; no pulling out a chair or anything like that, to the waiter who grumpily brought tepid water to the table and told me my burger came well done - end of. However, the food was hot and tasty, although slow to arrive.... which is a shame.

Friendly and amazing staffs and it has such nice vibes! I only went for some drinks but I had a great time:)) Next time I definitely want to try some food too!😋

Reduced to one star as you asked me to email, which I did, but you didn't take the time out to acknowledge or respond. A really average dining experience. Service slow and inattentive, food bland, unexciting, poorly cooked. Not what you expect at this price point.

Great service, delicious food and big portions! We were so full after our three starters, our mains and desserts! We had a consensus on the parma ham being the best starter and the chocolate tortino being the best dessert! The piccante pizza was actually spicy too, which was great to hear! If it wasn't for the minor problem of me being lactose-intolerant I would've given it five stars!!

Amazing restaurant with great ambiance and super friendly, professional team. Welcomed by Valeria who ensured we had a special treat for our anniversary. We had the tuna steak and the carbonara which was very flavour and delicious and we even tried their best desert Profiterole Siciliani with a "Happy Anniversary" plate on a side. I recently had dinner with my brother at Luciano by Gino D'Acampo and I was very impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service the very good work environment can meet the Runners as I remember Amanta, Daniel, Alan and Eva The menu offered a wide variety of innovative dishes, with a mix of bold flavors and beautiful presentation. The attentive staff, especially Denisa, who is part of the bar staff with excellent cocktails, Ugh, I was amazed by the quality of the cuisine. The well-informed Chef Lester made sure that our meal was memorable, offering us excellent recommendations and guaranteeing our satisfaction. The food It was fresh and delicious, and the best thing was that the chef sent us a dessert. We were very pleased with Carmine the Manager, a very nice man.

We have come back to Luciano’s 3 years in a row when visiting our daughter in London and had a fabulous meal. To add to our memorable experience we had the same waiter ( Gianni ) who recognized us every visit . Until next cheers

Very good meal, and beautiful restaurant, I only wish the service had matched the quality of the food. Took an absolute age to get a drink, whilst waiting for our table, despite a member of staff polishing glasses right in front of us… we were literally ignored! Luckily a very attentive manager noticed us, and eventually served us instead, otherwise I think we would have been waiting a lot longer! I don’t mind if people are busy, but at the very least acknowledge us and let us know you know we are there! The food was excellent and we definitely will return as we really liked the restaurant, so hopefully next time will be different!

The food was superb. But the service was even better. We where met by a very lovely head of the waiters and our waiter was super. The bartender was in a world class making the best cocktails. We had the best evening in a long time.

Absolutely loved this place before a show at the theatre. Carmine was our server and he was amazing.

Poor service, very bland food, only the decor was pleasant. Food looked pretty, made for social media not for eating, tasteless. Most staff were absent, only one lead host was decent. They were appalling with handling dietary restrictions, unclear about the ingredients and reluctant to clarify with the kitchen. Very disappointed as we had booked a large group for a £60 per head and it was an entirely lacklustre experience for that price.

I came with my partner. We had carbonara and the meatballs and it was tasty. The wine recommended by Roland was delicious.

We had a good experience in his restaurant in Liverpool, so we wanted to try this one. I liked the decor and atmosphere, the staff were very polite and tried their best to accommodate our needs. Some small improvements are needed, wine glasses should be removed from the table as soon as possible upon establishing customers are not drinking wine. Menus must be collected after orders of main courses are taken. A cocktail we ordered tasted different than the same one we had earlier, upon inspection we noticed the piece of fresh lime and dried lime were both missing, we brought it to the attention of the staff and it was replaced with a new one. As for the food, it was above average, but not spectacular.

Special treat for our 5th wedding anniversary. Lovely looking restaurant, beautifully decorated and clean. Not much ambiance but restaurant was only about half full, it was a Tuesday night. The main let down was the speed of service, it was ridiculously slow, really felt like the kitchen were unable to keep up with the demand but the restaurant wasn't busy! There were loads of staff but I'm not sure what a lot of them did as a few just hid in the staff room/area clearly visible from our table, it only appeared that 3 maybe 4 members of staff were doing something, these staff were excellent, professional and polite and seems embarrassed at the speed that the food came out the kitchen explaining that they had a big party to deal with (a party of 9 adults ! Not big in my opinion) The food when we eventually got it was good Italian food, nothing mind blowing but perfectly acceptable quality. The time between ordering and getting our food was so bad that we didn't bother with a dessert as the thought of an hour long wait was just to painful. My mother would describe this place as 'all fur coat no knickers', that's exactly what it is. Busy because it trades under the name of Gino D'campo and not because it's an amazing experience with food and service to match. Not a place we would revisit.

Me and my partner dined here before going to see Mamma Mia the musical and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and was served very quickly. The service we received was excellent and our server, Camilo, was very attentive. We would most definitely return here again. 100% recommend.

We arrived with high expectations. My friends had great meals in Gino’s restaurant in Liverpool before and decided to take us here. Everything about the venue looked immaculate, but the evening was let down by the service and the food. To be fair, there’s nothing terribly wrong with anything. eg. the cocktail immediately got replaced when it was pointed out one was different to what was ordered. We waited over 10mins just to get our cocktails (we can see the drinks were made and were sitting at the bar…) However, the price and the venue suggested a higher quality service and meal. For the main course, I went for the seafood risotto (for 2). It was a huge helping, so much so that I have no room for dessert. However it was very salty. I continue to feel thirty even when I got home. My friends were very disappointed, simply because they expect much more.

I went there for lunch on Saturday and I had a great experience. Food and service were both incredible. Thank you to Renato for making the experience so memorable. We had the Antipasti to share, I definitely recommend the king prawn bruschetta, 10/10. We then ordered the seafood pasta, the prosciutto Parma pizza and the chicken filled with Pesto and Pomodoro. Everything was super good. Definitely going back!

My husband took me to Luciano's yesterday as a birthday treat and pre-theatre lunch. We both thought the ambience was wonderful. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the decor was absolutely amazing. We weren't rushed, the waiters were very attentive, and the food was good. Only one small criticism, I had the Trofie smoked salmon, although very very tasty, it was slightly too salty for my palate. We hope to return sometime soon.
