Beautiful restaurant on a fun street. Fresh Italian pasta and friendly service. This restaurant is well worth the visit just for the beauty,

I decided to come here based on some of the reviews but was a little disappointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming and quickly found us a table. We did not have to wait too long for our food. However some of the food was not so good. The deep fried Mozzarella was clearly not deep fried and was lukewarm when served. Pasta dish was okay but average. However the pizzas that were being served at the next table looked better, so maybe I'll just stick to the pizzas next time.

We didn’t bother saying anything because we were so hungry- but this food was absolutely disgusting. It was over cooked (from frozen) and it came out 3 minutes after we ordered. I feel truly insulted that somebody would give me such terrible food and think I wouldn’t notice.

Very excellent Italian restaurant just off the main drag. It's a real mom and pops place, but fills up quickly.

Great food, great service and great staff! The staff made us feel welcome from the start! There was a little queue but they made us aware of how long it would take from the beginning and it was accurate. Being Italian I have high standards when it comes to Italian food, if you order anything with tomato sauce ( pizza or pasta) you’ll be sorted! Great tomato sauce😍

Charming waiters Mayfair prices Reheated pre-made food. I am pretty sure that the melanzane alla parmigiana That I ordered was made by tipping some watered down industrial tomato sauce, onto some slices of aubergine, and then chucking some Parmesan blend on top and microwaving. In fairness, they agreed to replace that dish with some thing else so I chose Burrata and rocket salad as I felt they couldn’t mess that up too much. The portions are skimpy to put it mildly. And when the manager came to ask me if everything was all right, then I had the audacity to tell him that the first dish had been disgusting and I truly meant it in every respect. Not just that it wasn’t tasty but that it was such a blatant cheat. I asked if they were actually chefs in the kitchen or if they were just reheating stuff and he claimed they were chefs, but I find that very difficult to believe.

It is so cozy! The white sauce pasta with mushrooms and chicken was so good and the risotto.

100% would recommend this restaurant. They quickly made space for the 4 of us and the atmosphere was amazing with a cosy vibe, very friendly waiting staff too. I had the risotto with courgettes, peas, spinach and broccoli which was incredible, wish I lived closer to go back regularly! I also had the king prawns as a shared between the table which were amazing as well. The rest of the order included two pizzas, tagliatelle bolognaise, olives and cheese garlic bread. All of us said how much we loved the food and we will come back when we next visit London!

Disaster as for such prime location... The food is not better than from any average corner fast food. The interior has cheap rusty decors, squeaking floor, very cramped and loud, waiters not really communicative.

Lovely Italian right in the heart of the shopping district. Very friendly staff, prices are reasonable. Food was excellent . Peroni on draught hit the spot.

Love this Italian restaurant, just off Oxford street in London

The meal was okay, nothing special. I would have given a 3 star but my friend got a big plate of pasta spilled on her and the restaurant wouldn’t apologize or take responsibility. She ended up withsauce all over her head and the restaurant said it was the “customers” problem. I get accidents happen, but to have a customer leave crying and you do nothing is really poor service. I wouldn’t eat here again and recommend you not do so either.

In the tumult of James Street, the food is not quite that "of the gods" promised in the name but certainly reliable even if the menu is rather suspiciously long and suggestive of a vast deep freeze; we were warmly welcomed, swiftly served perfectly good food and pleased with, by west end standards, a small bill; crowded tables so keep your elbows in but it makes for atmosphere ; we will be going again

My family and I have been coming here for well over 10 years. It is out go to if we have been shopping in the Westend and I have also come up to the Westend to meet friends to come here. Since discovering this place I have introduced it to many people and we always enjoy it. The staff are amazing and know us and the food is always nice. I recommend.

Good italian place, a bit pricey but that's what you pay for the are you are located in. Had the 4 stagioni pizza which was pretty good, thin and crispy crust with a nice tomato sauce. Proper italian pizza. We also had a parmigiana di melanzane for a starter, which was pretty good... People I was with had the Carbonara, they enjoyed it but I didn't try it. I'd definitely eat again in there as my office is located nearby.

Horrible experience. When i actually think now i don't even know why we stayed to eat there. Waited long to order. The server wiped the table with hand so people could sit on table next to us. One dish was to greasy. Food was not good. Not for the money u pay for. Nothing was good!

The have a menu saying manager things, however truth is its quite far from it. The carbonara The brought, was with cream and some cheap Bacon, yet their MENU SAYS, pancetta, eggyolk etc. When i askel for tais, only reply was that Yes, The dont have it.. Its a Basic turisti trash place.

The outdoor seating area is just amazing. I ordered tomato soup which tastes great, and seafood rositto, but then I stopped everything when I found a long hair in the risotto 🤢. I know it's a mistake but it's a terrible mistake when a dish is served to a customer before it is being checked at least taking a quick look at the surface of the food. So, I ciuldn't complete my eating and left. However, the place is great, staff and waiters are friendly I hope they pay more attention to my disgusting remark. I didn't want to take a photo of the hair but I changed my mind so my comment comes valid. I am definitely not coming back. Thanx any way for the friendly atmosphere.

One of the best Italian restaurant in London

Ristorante di ex Italiani, oggi di proprietà Turca. Mi sono trovato davvero malissimo in quanto i piatti descritti sono Italiani ma sono effettuati in maniera errata. Ho dovuto farmi cambiare il piatto quando mangiai la Pasta all'Arrabbiata in quanto piena di aglio. Spero in un cambiamento di materia prima e formazione per il personale su piatti Italiani, per il bene della compagnia e dei futuri clienti. Avvisatemi se apporterete modifiche in modo da tornare e riprovare i piatti.

Väldigt god lasagne och deras hemmagjorda lemonad var helt fantastisk. Synd att man hittade denna restaurang sista dan. Rekommenderar denna stort.

Muy cociná muy buen servicio y mejor atención

They shouldn't call themselves an italian restaurant!!! The food was really disappointing, I ordered a carbonara and I got pasta with cream. Although, in the menu they don't mention cream so they let the customers believe that they make an authentic italian carbonara, when they clearly don't. The explanation that I got when I asked if that plate contains cream it was that customers prefer it, instead of eggs. I felt like staff didn't care enough so instantly paid the bill and left. One of my worst experience by far!!!

I don't recommend this place. The garlic bread was dry and the pasta dish had hardly any pasta. The food was overpriced and they included a service charge of over 10% which we didn't pay as the food was disappointing and the waiter was very rude.

My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday night. Sat inside. Service and food were both excellent. VERY impressed by the friendliness and competence of the staff. Special thanks to Birol…. This is not a fake review - check my other reviews…

We arrived a couple today at the Italian restaurant, it is located in a nice hideaway near Selfridge in London, a cute Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere, I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and mozzarella, and my partner ordered ravioli with cheese and basil, the pizza was excellent, the pepperoni was a little less spicy and unrelated To the peppery taste known to all, the dough of the pizza was baked almost perfectly, the sauce of the pizza a little less delicious but the cheese was excellent, the ravioli was perfect, the only thing we did not like was successful, at no point in each serving, none of the waiters had a smile Guests were 3 waiters and all with a sour face, the meal cost along with a drink £ 41.24 Reasonable price for the food, just a pity they did not smile it would give a better feeling, it is recommended to come to the place warmly ...

The Tortellini Formaggio was delicious. The spinach and cheesy cream sauce was perfect. Good service and fair prices. I would definitely go back!

Abbiamo appena cenato qui e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene! La lasagna, le penne Alfredo e la focaccia al rosmarino davvero molto buone. Consigliato!

There are hundreds of small Italian restaurants in London but this one is well above average. The quality of the cooking is excellent and the dishes are very tasty. This prices are modest given its location in London. Thorough recommended.

Went here for a quick supper and we all had pizzas which were very tasty and reasonably priced. We intend to return to try the pasta dishes as they looked very good.

Second visit here, first time in July ‘21. We were impressed that time so decided to book a table for the last Saturday night in January. A very pleasant corner table was reserved for us and the friendly staff looked after us very well. Food...

Probably the most racist place to go too… they have an Indian waiter that is extremely rude and very pretentious and only caters to white people, don’t advise , go somewhere else!

Very poor staff with poor attitude

My complaint is around service charge and Tipping. We had a lovely meal and the service was good. Due to the poor lighting, I asked the waiter whether there was a service charge included in the bill, so I gave him a cash tip. On returning home, I checked the bill and was amazed to see a service charge £21.36 was included. I phoned the restaurant and they said the service cha went to the compwentcha

Went here on a Friday lunchtime. Both had pasta and garlic bread. Good portions and very tasty. Prices reasonable for central London and service very good. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it really frustrates me when restaurants automatically charge a 12.5% service...

Small Italian restaurant with diverse menu. You have options of indoor or outdoor tables. We went for fried chicken scalp with spaghetti 🍝 it was delicious and brochette. I would come again to try other menu items. يسكر الساعه ١٠ بليل كثير ناس جوا بعد عشره و ما دخلهم المطعم.

Great Italian restaurant with very nice Italian food.

We stopped here during a shopping trip down Oxford Road. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Calzone, it was perfectly cooked and very flavoursome. The service was also excellent - although slightly let down by the waiting staff looking rather sad!!

Gorgeous restaurant I have visited solo and with friends. Service and food always great and whilst I had every intention of going again today, I was on my way to an appt and I always drink too much wine at Ambrosia but I’ll be back...

Didn’t clear our table before we sat. Staff did not communicate to each other, so when one of our meals didn’t arrive after around 50min, the other server literally told us “I have absolutely no idea what you ordered”. Seriously!! Get on top of it. Food was average nothing special at all. Never coming back.
