The service is fantastic here. Our waiter, Badir was brilliant. The pizza is simply the best in the UK HANDS DOWN. Nothing comes close and trust me I would know. I did a pizza walk once where we went to 3 pizza spots a day for a week and EVERYONE universally agreed this place is hands down the best pizza in London. Nothing comes close to this place.

The food is very good and fresh, massive thank you to the chefs. The service is outstanding, very quick and everyone is extremely friendly. Especially must mention Dmitrii, very competent and friendly worker, who is always happy to help. However it is difficult to only mention one, as every single one is nice and professional who ensure that you have a pleasant experience. This place is definitely worth a visit, and you will be coming here again and again. Best authentic Italian pizzeria in London!

Used restaurant for a business meeting. Really poor disinterested service. Music at full volume. Asked to reduce so we can talk. Simply ignored. Food - pizza-was bland and lacked flavour. A pity. Avoid business meetings here.

Been here a few times it’s convenient on work trips. Used to be my fave pizza in London (but that’s now Mozza) as unfortunately this is suffering the past year or so. Staff are rushed and as a solo diner am often forgotten. Pizzas tend to be soggy in the middle. Great taste, outside of the dough is great, the place has just ‘gone off’ a bit. And it can be rather loud in there.

So far, the best Pizzeria in London for me. much much better than big chains like Pizza express or Zizzi. Don’t ask for Ketchup! They get pissed off.

I'm from Naples and when I find a great pizza I am over the moon and I need everyone to know about it, but I'm not sure why it took me so long to spend a few minutes and leave a well deserved review for this place. I found out about Santa Maria maybe 4-5 years ago when I used to work in Fitzrovia and had many pizzas delivered at work at the time and I've eaten-in several times over the years as well. Unfortunately I am now out of the area so I am not able to treat myself to their fantastic pizzas often enough, if this place was closer to my house I'd be going every week! *Please open a branch in North West London, I beg you* Now to the actual review: Here you'll eat one of the best Neapolitan pizzas in London that is consistently delicious, you'll be greeted by friendly and thoughtful staff and you'll pay good prices for the high quality ingredients and location. PS Don't miss out and try the friarielli pizza (San Giuseppe I believe}, if you're vegetarian like myself I'd recommend to substitute the sausage with mushrooms.

Beautifuly decorated little restaurant great fast service. The best gluten free pizza 🍕 I have had. My husband had a calzone and said it was very good. Baby changing facilities in women's toilet. Thank you very much 😊 will definitely be back.

Niestety podczas mojej krótkie wizyty w Londynie nie miałem dużo szczęścia do lokali gastronomicznych, tak Santa Maria okazała się miłym zaskoczeniem. Nie spodziewałem się, że znajdę tu tak dobrą pizzę napolitane w przystępnej cennie. Porównując ceny z knajp bliżej ścisłego centrum jest na prawdę dobrze. Nie była to najlepsza pizza w moim życiu ale zdecydowanie mocne 4 gwiazdki. Ciasto cieniutki, pomidory słodki, ser kremowy i delikatny. Jak dla mnie trochę za długo była w piecu ale poza tym okej. Jeśli szukasz niedrogiej i smacznej pizzy to zdecydowanie polecam.

Absolutely delicious and authentic pizza. Indulgent toppings like burrata and buffalo mozzarella. You can also add your own toppings. The dine-in restaurant is a nice modern space. I often get take-out, which they prepare super quickly.

Amazing restaurant and great service. We came across this little pizzeria on our night out and booked a table for 8. The pizzas were awesome & They have lots of choices for vegetarians. We ordered pizzas and deserts we weren’t disappointed. The pizzas were fresh and the taste was awesome.. The staff are very hospitable and look after you well. A special mention for Federica who was awesome the whole night. Thank you for the amazing service and looking after us. Hopefully we get to dine soon at your lovely restaurant.

We really enjoyed our visit to Santa Maria pizza. The atmosphere was buzzing and even though it was busy the service was really warm and welcoming. We were served quickly and the pizza was tasty-we had the San Rocco and Santa Filomena. Would definitely go again!

We had eaten before at their Islington restaurant and we were delighted to find that the experience here was just as good. What we particularly appreciate is the existence of a vegan menu. Very helpful. I recommend the San Filippo and the San Popeye (we shared!). And surely this is the best crostata in town?

I recently visited this restaurant with friends and had an extremely disappointing experience. The incident occurred when a friend found a hair in their food. To our surprise, the waiter with a tattoo made an inappropriate comment, blaming one of our friends for the incident as if it was her hair , later making a snarky comment - “don’t touch your hair”. Not only was this extremely unprofessional, but also extremely rude. I was expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, i was met with an unprofessional response to a hygiene concern by a particular gentleman. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future patrons. Other than that the food was great and other staff were friendly and kind. I highly recommend the truffle+mushroom dip btw

I booked Santa Maria Pizzeria for my work leaving dinner as I read many great reviews online saying the food was tasty but affordable along with the vibrant atmosphere. I was greatly disappointed. I had booked the table for 15 people on Friday 10th November eve, the restaurant called me several times in the weeks running up to the date constantly getting the date / time / number of people wrong and I kept having to remind them. Firstly, they did not reserve a table of 15 for me. A few of my guests arrived late and the waiter rudely refused them into the restaurant stating there was no room - this was because the restaurant weirdly decided to give away the last part of my table to another couple who were dining. Furthermore, there was a hair in one of my friends pizza, to which the waiter rudely commented and made a snide remark suggesting it was her own. Next, this same waiter abruptly took my friends plate whilst there was still pizza on it and he was still eating. And to top it all off, we were told there were only two desserts left to pick from. I highly suspect that this was purely because they could not be bothered to serve up 12 desserts being so close to closing time. The pizza itself was delicious and the rest of the staff were lovely, unfortunately it was the lack of manners and decency of the waiter that let the restaurant down.

We were meant to attend at a reservation made for 16 people although at the time we walked in there wereff 12 people at the mentioned reservation already. The host looked at me and said “well the reservation is already full” after that he was just staring at me and not saying anything which was very bizarre. Like i should have been ashamed that i walked in that pizza place and should turn around and leave - i asked him “okay what can we do in that case and he just kept on staring at me and said well its already full :D (what a legend ) in general we were partly at fault as we were late but this guy didn’t show any desire to help or to even pretend to help us. He was not interested at all. Eventually i said i will walk in anyway and at least check on the group. There wasn’t space for 5 of us thats true but there were alternatives that he didn’t propose. Had a pizza and while i still had one quarter from my pizza in my plate this same guy decided just to come and take my plate away without even asking if thats okay or if i was done or offering to put it in a take away box. I took it a bit personal to be honest. Never seen anyone so incompetent. Food was good. The rest of the staff was friendly but the host was number one in terms of careless attitude. This happened on the 10th in the evening

When I entered Santa Maria Pizzeria Fitzrovia, I was charmed by its cozy and friendly atmosphere. I was served by the very nice Erika. She gave me professional advice on which pizza to choose based on my taste and allergies. The pizza was delicious, but I was also blown away by their desserts, especially the chocolate soufflé with a molten salted caramel core, which was divine. The quality was excellent.

Santa Maria Pizzeria Fitzrovia is a great choice for pizza lovers. I was served by Erika, who was very nice and professional. I ordered the Santa Caterina pizza which was delicious. The dough was thin and crispy, the fiordilatte cheese was excellent and the Napoli salami was spicy and juicy. The pizza was so big I couldn't finish it. The prices were very reasonable and the quality was excellent. I will definitely come back here. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Would not recommend anymore if you’re gluten free. I used to come here all the time - this was the only place in London to do thick authentic gf Neapolitan style pizzas. Unfortunately in the last few months it seems like they’ve changed the recipe to cut costs and not only does it taste like sugary cardboard but it gave me an upset stomach. Will not order from here again.

I've been here twice now and they don't disappoint with the flavour and quality of their pizzas. This feels authentic and the dough is really bloody good. They've got a fair amount of options to choose from (perhaps too many) and I've always taken whatever the waiter/waitress at the time has recommended. They've got a really good mix of classics and some more experimental (at least to me) pizzas.

Nous avons attendu très longtemps avant d'être servis! Plusieurs livreurs sont venus prendre des commandes, mais surtout, les anglais se font servir avant les touristes! Nous avons failli partir avant de pouvoir commander! La pizza sans gluten (et avec) est vraiment très bonne. La musique est trop fort et l'ambiance n'est pas au top. One of the best pizza's in town. We went there without booking but in less than 10 min they offered a table, which was very nice. We had some pizza and drink and I had some issues with mine but the manager/owner handled my complaint very well, with a positive vibe plus pizza was cut off from the bill. Had a great time having a Calzone. However, I was left slightly dissatisfied with the taste of this calzone. Wasn’t as good as when I had it last year in another branch, I do hope to come back here so and give this branch another chance. Staff where lovely and atmosphere was great.

Restaurant closed at 10:30pm arrived at 9:08pm. Asked if they had a table for 5. They did not seem very thrilled about us arriving. We were seated in the back were one of the staff members was eating (I guess on break) he moved and sat his food on the another table and walked away. Didn't seem very happy. I said out loud are they upset ?and one of the lady workers stated no they weren't. There were no words exchanged besides when taking order and getting the check. I didn't feel welcomed or taken care of. The pizza was decent but didn't care for the service. We not did feel welcomed and felt rushed. We hurried and ate our pizza in less than 30 minutes and left. We are visiting on vacation from U.S and wanted to experience different type of pizza and service and didn't get that. I wouldn't recommend just off of the visit.
