The mushroom feels like canned mushroom and the ingredients don’t taste fresh. The meat balls are overcooked. But the bread dough is fair.

Traditional pizza from Napoli, it never disappoints!! The crust is so thin and the products feel so fresh and delicious!

Top score for the amazing Samantha. Her infectious smile set up the ambient for a beautiful and emotional dinner between friends who rejoin after a period of 8 months. The service was excellent, the food’s dough engraving the antique essence of the Italian receipt. Thank you for the beautiful night 🥰

The pizza here is one of the best I’ve had in London! The service from the waitstaff was excellent, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The tiramisu had a milder coffee and alcohol flavor, but the cheese taste was stronger. The only downside was that it was a bit warm inside 😂. Also, it’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station.

We visited the Firzrovia branch of this small, but famous chain. Typical Neapolitan-style pizza (big and soft). Great and tasty toppings, but the pizza base was maybe slightly undercooked, which affected the overall experience. Restaurant with a few tables only, no particular decor, but fast and effective service. Prices are lowers than the average pizzerias in London, which is a plus. Several vegan options available. Original idea to call every pizza with the name of an Italian Saint. Apart from pizza, starters and desserts are also available, but selection is poor. Definitely not the best pizzeria In London, but worth to try if you like the Neapolitan pizza.

A great pizzaria off the beaten track means it's quieter even on a Saturday evening. The service is good...and prices decent, and food is respectable. The food selection is somewhat limited...as there are no pasta dishes. They don't serve tea either. When we went it was rather warm inside...which was nice to start with but became too much by the end of the meal. Other than this I would recommend this place. If you don't want to fight the crowds and the noise...this place definitely passes muster.

Good pizzas, fairly quick service, pleasant servers. However, they do not specify in advance that they do not accept cash payments. Too bad for foreign tourists. It is advisable to reserve or wait until the evening because the restaurant is small and a little noisy too.

Second time dining at this restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is definitely great. However, both times the pizza tasted of burned food, despite not being burned. This is likely to be due to the quality of the wood being used or the oven not being properly cleaned.

Was given a recommendation to try this place. Quite the walk. Quite place, had a rucolla salad along with a calezone. Noticed that many places are going cashless, when was time to pay was advised they dont take cash, but eventually they made an exception for me as was traveling. The fresh mozzarella with ricotta cheese tastes just yum

Surprisingly good Napoletana pizza 🍕 This pizzeria doesn’t seem to be overly crowded (or maybe I got lucky) and it’s a humble shop serving extraordinary pizza. The dough is nice and soft with good flavor. It didn’t have much of a crisp but it’s still very nice. The ingredients seem authentic. It’s a nice pizzeria if you want amazing pizza and don’t want to be overrun with crowds. They do take reservations as well.

Only had the pizza and calzone. Obviously not cheap (it's Fitzrovia) but they're great Neapolitan pizzas.

It used to be one of our Neapolitan pizza places but unfortunately the quality has worsened a lot recently. Pizza dough was a bit and my Margherita was extremely dry (there was barely any tomato sauce). I wonder if the place is still owned by people who know what traditional Neapolitan Pizza should taste like.

Arrived at restaurant without booking and had to wait half an hour for a table hence went for a drink just around the corner. Came as as requested and our table was ready and our drinks order was taken promptly. We order some mixed olives as an appetiser and they were lovely. We ordered two Santa Caterina pizza which came with a lot of fresh chilli topping and a Santa Carmela pizza. The pizza tasted very fresh as the to Matt sauce was made from fresh tomato as opposed to a manufactured tomato topping sauce. We also ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc which was a very nice crisp wine. Two finish we had Tiramisu which my wife has never had as she is not fond of Coffee in deserts but thoroughly enjoyed it as the coffee wasn’t over powering. The service was excellent and the only downside was there was a large table of very loud people which in a small restaurant with very little soft furnishings to absorb the noises was a bit annoying. However can’t blame the restaurant for there clientele.

One of the best pizza doughs I ever had in London. Also the ingredients were really good . The variety of the pizzas are not the common ones, so it was fun to experiment with new flavours. The staff were very kind and professional.

I visited for lunch. Since it was a little late, there weren't many other customers. The dough is crispy, but the ears are chewy and delicious. Standard price for pizza. The volume is quite large so I'm satisfied. I will visit again.

Such a lovely early evening supper with my wife and youngest daughter. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The host who seated us and took our order named Daniella has fantastic energy! Vittorio was so attentive. At one point I asked if my 17 month wanted another straw and she nodded. He had already gone before I asked! He was so accommodating. The best thing was that they were happy and smiley and being in this industry you know that this makes any dining experience the best!

A small but cozy place, the waiters are charming and very attentive and the pizza makers can be seen making the pizza. We ordered a bread with oil, the bread is delicious but the oil was spectacular, the mixture of the olive oil with the balsamic vinegar weekend is perfect. For the main course I ordered a burrata pizza and another with ham, mushrooms and cheese. Both are very good but the burrata one stands out. A place we will return to when we are in London.

Extremly rude staff all I wanted was a pizza and saw this place was meant to be the best but clearly not. Customer service was poor, staff member hung up the first phone call I thought it was cut off and then the second time I called she told me this ain’t a Nando’s after being insulted I took my self for a McDonald’s to cheer me up

Terrible service, waitress said there was no salami pizza at all but there there was one on the menu? Totally un interested and couldn’t be bothered to speak. Pizza had burnt crust and it the burnt taste tarnished the pizza.

This is by far the best pizza we have had. The pizza Napoli with tomato sauce as well as the pizza margherita were outstanding. We have been all over Italy and the pizza here was far better than any we had there, so that is saying something, given pizza in Italy is just delicious. The burrata and bruschetta were fabulous too. And we topped it off with an outstanding cappuccino. Highly recommend!!!!f

Exactly a Neapolitan pizzeria, good food, low prices.

Firstly i am a Celiac, so I know my view will be the minority but I just find it a bit silly that they would charge Celiac's an extra £3 pound, when the pizza looks so much worse than everyone else's. I was sat on a table with non-celiac's, their pizza looked amazing, mine came out pale and so lack lustre, if you're going to charge more......it shouldn't be worse, it should be on par. I advise whoever the owners or chefs are to do some market research because i have had way better gluten free pizza's elsewhere, some that me made me and my partner (who isn't gluten free) question because they were that good. If you don't care about the consumer then don't offer a gluten free base worth more money.

Great pizza, classic Napolitano style, fluffy dough. Very delicious. The interior is small and a bit grey and dull.

Absolute joke of a place. Just been forced to move tables in a half empty restaurant because the staff want to sit where our table is. Haven't even had any food and I now don't want it. This is a great example of how crappy service really leaves a sour taste. I don't even care what the food is like now - I just want to leave.

Great pizza (the best) great service and buzzing atmosphere - I loved the previous decor and choice of colours on the walls as pink and green used to make the place bright and funky and fun. Why has this now changed to a dull grey and black? Not the same - the plance has plat a bit of a sparkle to me with the new decor - but just my view….. Love the pizzas always!!!!

The best pizza ever! Try San Mattia, sooo delicious! It was even better than in Italy, just my opinion:) Thanks to the staff for the great service and finding for us a table. Recommend to you book a table in advance. We didn’t know about that and was lucky to have a table.

Santa Maria Pizzeria serves a decent Neapolitan-style pizza, but the heavy dough left us feeling overly stuffed and weighed down, possibly due to an unlucky batch of flour. The waiters were all very polite, and the prices were reasonable, but the unsatisfactory doughy experience put a damper on an otherwise lively setting.

I’m normally visit Fulham brand But I had to say that the pizza, was really delicious too and the service was fantastic too

It was just like that. I didn't know that Margherita pizza doesn't have cheese. Add cheese or order something else. I think it would have tasted better if I had known, so that's my personal feeling. I originally ate it with a dough flavor, but it burned a lot. And if you're going to get a lot of tips, why don't you at least provide wifi? Please note that Wi-Fi is not available.

One of the best pizzas in London and has consistently been for many years. I especially like the calzone, but any of the unique flavours are good. You have the flexibility to build your own so don’t be afraid to go double Nduja.

This place is great for all those who aren't Muslim, but that shouldn't discourage those who are Muslim. They do have a good vegan selection, to allow Muslims and vegans to enjoy their authentic Italian pizza. I do wish they would use animal free cheese instead.

Awful vegan pizza. I’ve been here a couple times before and the vegan pizza was good. This time I got a vegan marguerita and it was very bad - way too much cheese which was not properly melted. When we complained that it wasn’t cooked enough they said it was because of the vegan cheese, but there shouldn’t have been so much on there to begin with. Don’t offer vegan cheese if you don’t know how to cook it! Very disappointing…

Delicious, quick and great value for money

Summary - Nice pizzas Day / time - Tues lunchtime Food - Calzone. Large, filling and very tasty. Noise - fairly loud. Most tables were taken. Atmosphere / decor - Modern, simple. Fine. Service - Good. Attentive waiters. Parking - No. Price - £13 - 16 per pizza.

If you are looking for some of the best dough dough pizza in london at a reasonable price then look no further. Delivers on price and better than any chains around. Only slightly lower marks as lacking ambience could have done with some music and perhaps evening lighting to make 5 stars but overall would definitely revisit !

Good place to enjoy a proper Neapolitan Pizza.

I had high hopes for this place but left disappointed. Bruschetta was disappointing and tasted of nothing. Didn't taste seasoned and the tomatoes were straight out of the fridge so all you could taste was cold rather than lush ripe tomatoes (they were the type you buy on supermarkets prepacked). Had a San Generro pizza that I picked specifically as I love anchovies ( yeah I know I'm weird). Pizza came and looked good. Once I cut into it I found the base was simultaneously burnt and undercooked. Black under the crust but raw in the centre. When intasted the pizza it was very bland. Now this has capers, olives and anchovies on it so I don't know how it tasted of nothing. When I looked closer there wasn't an anchovie in sight. Very disappointed abd when I compare to places like nonna selenas in Bloomsbury there is no comparison. Sorry folks but a poor experience.

A good pizzeria in Fitzrovia. It's quite a narrow restaurant, but with lots of tables and good for both groups and smaller sets of diners. The pizzas are huge, and they come quickly. Very good value, and very tasty. Clearly a good lunchtime and post- work option for the local offices; best to book, esp on Tues, Weds & Thurs

My family and I had the best meal here. This was the best pizza we have eaten. My wife had the gluten free crust and she said you wouldn’t know it was gluten free. My Son and I each devoured our pies. The sauce here is real deal, so simple, so wonderfully bright and yet it had some depth without being too thick. The cheese filling the Calazone was delicious, unctuous, smooth as velvet and played down well with the meats in it. They replaced napkins, and silverware when we finished our burratta and olives with focaciq. We complimented the manager at the end of our meal and he was gracious, humble, a gentleman and absolute pro at running the shop. I asked his name and he said “The Frenchman”. So now he is London legend to our family! The entire staff was awesome and next time we are in London, we will be here. Come here for Pizza and enjoy the quality of great service and exceptional food!

Best authentic Italian pizza I've had in London - me & my colleagues have been here a few times for birthday lunches and the like and thr pizzas are divine!!

I went last night and was very surprised. Very good pizza and the staff was really nice. I will be back soon!
