I recently had the pleasure of dining at Authentic Italian wine bar and restaurant, and every moment was a delight. We started with the amazing mushroom soup incredibly flavorful and a perfect way to begin the meal. For our main courses, the mushroom risotto and tagliatelle al pesto were simply outstanding, with rich, authentic flavors and perfectly balanced textures. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the fresh tiramisu arrived to finish—it was light, creamy, and the perfect sweet end to our meal. The wine selection is top-notch, with excellent pairings for each dish, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Authentic Italian restaurant truly captures the essence of Italian cuisine. Highly recommended for an authentic and memorable dining experience! Thank you!

Came here for a birthday celebration on Saturday. Lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed the food and drinks. Thank you for the great service.

The food is okay. The service is a little bit ignorant.

Unfortunately, my friend and I had quite an unpleasant experience. We came to this restaurant for a quick bite and some wine but were met with very scattered and superficial service. We asked for one bottle and they didn't have it, asked for another, ordered food and water with it, waited about 20 minutes to then have the server (in a suit? A manager?) come back to tell us they also didn't have that other bottle. 20 minutes later... My friend made a comment about it, to which the server replied "it is what it is". At this point, we had been seated for half an hour, we hadn't even gotten any water on the table and we were being offered other wines that we already had said we didn't want. It felt very much like they didn't want to deal with us. I understand it might be embarrassing to say no constantly, but it is worse for the customers, empathy is important, just show it... We ended up having aperol spritzes with the food, which they told us would be on the house. They weren't. We did get a sort of apology towards the end and some limoncellos and I was ready to let this go as both my friend and I work in hospitality, but when I saw the bill with basically everything on it I was so disappointed... (why telling us they were on the house?) Customer service training is needed... hope you take this review as a chance to improve on that. Good luck!

The best cozy restaurant with the most welcoming service and staff. Food perfecto. Make sure not to miss this place during your London visit! We enjoyed the best of the menu: lasagna, risotto, pesto tagliatelle, house wine etc. The pics tell the story. We will be back.

Terrible service - after waiting 40 minutes for our starter I asked how long our food would be as we had a show to get to and we only had another 25 minutes, was rudely told our food would not be ready in this time and that we should’ve told them we had a time limit. I said we ordered on the express pre theatre menu so I assumed the food would be out within an hour to which he retorted it was “busy” (we were about the third group in at 6pm) and still our fault for not telling them. I’d have thought it was more standard practice to let people know if their food was going to take 40+ minutes. Rude and unnecessary, he didn’t need to leave it on that note

Loved this place! It is located in the yards shopping area and the place has an outdoor seating area and a glass front which makes the indoor area feel bigger. The service was top notch and the wine selection is very good. Even the house wine was great tasting. I had the Tagliatelle al Pesto with basilico & pine nuts - very good - the pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavor of the sauce and nuts was subtle but very nice. I would definitely come again.

Very tasty Italian food and a great selection of wines. Relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden.

We had our first date here 5 years ago and have been coming regularly ever since. The sommeliers are exceptional and always deliver fantastic recommendations. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We have never had a bad experience and recommend highly to our friends all the time.

Empezó bien, luego empeoró cada vez más. Un montón de personal inteligentemente adecuado rondando sobre hablar entre sí, pero todavía esperamos siglos para pedir y luego para nuestra comida y la factura al final - todos parecían demasiado preocupados por verse elegantes e italianos para servir a los clientes. I’ve been here several times over the last few years. The wine bar has remained a favourite for me, and whenever I’m in central I make sure to stop by. The prices are considerably lower than you would expect when you realise you are in the heart of Covent Garden. The quality of service and the extensive wine menu have continued to nail the bar as a staple in Covent Garden. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to drink good and eat well for a reasonable price—make sure to stop by.

No volveré después de la experiencia de anoche. Esperamos 30 minutos para nuestros entrantes compartidos de solo focaccia y burrata. Las porciones eran pequeñas y no sabían mucho. Los vinos eran muy caros, así como la comida. La factura llegó a £ 124 por 2 por 2 copas de vinos cada uno y la comida mencionada anteriormente, así como una pequeña ensalada de filetes (tajadas).

No había estado en Dalla Terra durante siglos, así que estaba anticipando otra gran experiencia. Fue tristemente muy decepcionante. Sentado en la barra, asumí que la persona detrás de la barra, sería útil. A pesar de varios intentos de llamar su atención, en realidad nos ignoró y tuvimos que llamar a un camarero de la multitud de camareros cotilleando juntos en la puerta para obtener otra mirada a los menús y pedir más vino. Finalmente decidimos compartir un filete, que posteriormente nos dimos cuenta de que era una ensalada con una pequeña porción de filete - que no era evidente en el precio ridículo cobrado por lo que llegó. El camarero amablemente sugirió que nos mudáramos del bar a una mesa para esto, pero luego no nos ayudó a mover nuestros vasos de agua existentes, focaccia inacabada y San Pellegrino, que finalmente recuperamos nosotros mismos. No es lo que espero en ningún lado y especialmente no a este precio.

The staff are always welcoming, friendly and charming. Beautiful atmosphere as always whether we dine in or out on the terrace. A favourite spot for sure!

Mi novia y yo estábamos buscando un lugar para comer en Covent Garden y mientras caminaba por Dalla Terra nos llamó la atención. Parecía tan acogedor desde el exterior como se veía limpio y acogedor. Francesco nos dio la bienvenida y fue fantástico en todo momento. Su conocimiento del vino y el menú era increíble. La comida en sí era impresionante, todo estaba cocinado fresco y por el precio que pagamos era muy razonable teniendo en cuenta que los ingredientes utilizados eran de un nivel muy alto. El menú no es muy grande, pero aparentemente cambia a menudo y prefieren servir de calidad sobre una mayor cantidad de platos. Toda la experiencia fue perfecta y volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Londres!

Firstly, would love to come again had a great time. The "Rigatoni Al Ragu D Anatra" was brilliantly done compliments to chef. The place has wide range of wines. Cherry on the top was "Sasha" excellent service by him.

Literally my favourite place in London. Myself and my girlfriend eat out a lot from sushi samba to Hakassan, Amazónica or sexy fish. We both absolutely love this place. Part of me does not want to do this review as it is almost a hidden secret in London. The food is so good here they have ruined Italian as wherever else I go the food does not compare. The bruschetta and burrata are something else. The restaurant always has a sleek seductive understated vibe. From the candles to the incredible wine selection it has such a simple yet luxurious ambience. As for the service all of the staff are incredible and are part of what makes the experience. Literally the most attentive and friendly staff in London, knowledgable for making a recommendation around you wine tastes to ensuring you feel a personal touch with your dining experience. Special shout out to Flo. I sort of didn’t want to do the review as it is currently a hidden secret place of ours but the place is so amazing the review was necessary on a point of fairness to reflect this hidden dining dream.

My wife Christine and I have been coming to DT since 2012 when it opened. We visit on average 3 times a week. The wine is fantastic and the selection impressive. Personally I love the Amorone. It has a great atmosphere and unusually for Covent Garden a sizeable terrace space in Slingsby Place - feels like a piazza. The staff are great - know their wine stuff and very friendly. Now summer is on the way, there’ll be live music (Sundays in the past).

Always a wonderful evening with attentive and helpful staff. A great selection of Italian wine and delicious food. Makes me feel like I’m back in Italy. One of my favourite places to drink and eat in London. ❤️

A hidden gem of a spot. Excellent service, great cocktails and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The music is at the right level that it fits into the atmosphere without impairing your ability to have a converstion and the staff were friendly, warm and engaging. Great for dates and meet ups with friends.

A superb bar (that is what it primarily is) and restaurant in a great central location. The food and service are excellent - we had bruschetta and pasta, all served with aplomb. Atmosphere is also very good with a nice mix of locals and tourists. The one minor downside is that the music is slightly too loud; that is all that keeps this from being 5 stars across the board.

So recently we had an opportunity to visit this beautiful bar and trust me, we were not at all disappointed. Food was simple but delicious, especially Tagliatelle al tartufo. The staff is very courteous and always on their heels to help us with anything we required. From wine to the pasta, all were suggested by the staff. We were new to Italian cuisine and wanted guidance, we had Sassha to our rescue. Absolutely a saviour for us. So definitely a special shoutout to him, Thank you Sassha. A 100% recommended place for authentic Italian experience. We were so engrossed eating and enjoying the delicious meal, we absolutely missed clicking pictures, but next visit, we are clicking all aesthetic pictures first.

We got two glass of Malbec and a Coffe and the bill was 46£. Call me crazy but except they're bringing the Malbec swimming from Argentina it feels a bit of a rip off...

After a great afternoon at The Playhouse for Cabaret we were hungry and looking for good food. After dismissing lots of places we happened on Dalla Terra. Amazing service, attentive staff, delicious food, excellent House Red, wonderful ambience. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend and will definitely return when next I visit London

Per prima cosa debbo levare il cappello per il servizio impeccabile di Francesco. Un gran professionista e un Grand'Uomo. In secundis, la cucina era semplice, ma ottima, presentata molto elegantemente. Last, but not least: la carta vini. Una carta vini importante, deliziosa e curiosa, in cui poter bere sia vini sorprendenti a prezzi accessibili, sia le grandi e rinomate "bombe a mano". Non vedo l'ora di tornarci, solo se c'è Sir Francesco.

First I have to take my hat off to Francesco's impeccable service. A great professional and a Great Man. Secondly, the food was simple, but excellent, very elegantly presented. Last, but not least: the wine list. An important, delicious and curious wine list, where you can drink both surprising wines at affordable prices and the great and renowned "hand grenades". I can't wait to go back, only if Sir Francesco is there.

I've been coming here for many years, drawn by their great selection of wines and lovely staff. Ive had some really special bottles here, from my favourite Nebbiolos, Barolos, Super tuscans and even some surprises from the New World. Fully recommended. Im a big fan of the lasagna and their antipasti platters are visually beautiful and a nice treat!

Per toeval kwamen we terecht in het steegje waar dit restaurant gevestigd is. Wat een goede verrassing. We hebben hier echt heerlijk gegeten en heerlijke wijn gedronken. Samen met onze zonen (16 en 13). Heerlijke pasta’s, antipasto en tiramisu. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was echt prima. Ze hebben een hele uitgebreide wijnkaart. De inrichting is erg sfeervol.

Met up with some friends for dinner as it is one of their favorite restaurants for Italian food. Reservation was made for 6:30 PM. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't over crowded. Had a very welcoming environment and friendly staff to greet us. They have an extensive selection of wine for those who fancy it. The service was a bit on the slow side, but the staff did inform us about them being short staffed. However, it didn't affect our overall dining experience in any negative manner. The food was great and prepared fresh. The only disappointment for us was the tiramisu. For some reason it didn't live up to the standard of the other dishes we had. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We certainly had a nice experience dining here. Nice ambience combined with delicious food and great service. Certainly recommend if you are in the area.

Food on the pricey side but not too bad, found the wait staff to be extremely rude and uninterested in our table, there was an extremely noisey table that was near ours we asked one of the waiters if it would be possible to be moved to another further away one only to be told the table was already booked we stayed another two hour throughout that time no one came to take the table that was booked, all in all would avoid.

Title: A Charming Dining Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and wanted to share my thoughts. The quality of the food is undeniably excellent, with a special mention for the delicious rigatoni with duck ragù. While the portions may not be overly generous, the flavors more than compensate for it. The service, on the other hand, was a bit slow, which was a minor drawback. However, the staff was exceptionally courteous, making us feel welcome and at ease throughout the meal. The elegant and well-maintained ambiance added to the overall experience. We started with a delightful appetizer of focaccia, and the cotoletta alla milanese was a scrumptious choice as the main course. To complement our meal, we opted for the house wine, which turned out to be a great decision. All in all, it was a memorable dining experience in a refined setting, despite the slightly smaller portions and the leisurely pace of service.

I have been a patron of Dalla Terra for quite some time when it was under Italian staff, and it has always been a delightful dining experience. However, the new staff is a big NO for this restaurant. The primary issue that marred our visit was the abrupt and unwelcoming manner in which the staff handled the dining time limit. Even as we were still enjoying our meal with food on the table and there were a lot of available tables, a staff member came over to inform us that the table was reserved for a maximum of 45 minutes. Just do not go there.

Stumbled across this classy place and both tried a glass of wine (red defo nicer than white!), food was lovely but very pricy! Although I would say we weren’t a fan of the parmesan crackers, mains were nice though. Waiters were friendly too.

Secluded, quiet, a few outside tables. The form comes at a price. A live singer adds a touch of elegance.

Do not go there. Does not worth at all. After spending 45 minutes at the restaurant, one of the staff members approached our table and informed us that we needed to leave because the tables were only reserved for a 45-minute duration. What made this situation particularly frustrating was the complete lack of communication beforehand regarding this time limit. This employee, who was the most discourteous person I have encountered in a dining establishment, handled the situation poorly. The abrupt and disrespectful manner in which we were asked to vacate our table left a lasting negative impression.

Stylish venue with live entertainment.

The menu had four options for dinner… pretty much says it all. I asked for a side of red/marinara sauce and the restaurant said they had no sauces. Service was slow and food was overpriced.

We had drinks only and sat inside, there is seating outside. A nice and relaxed bar round the corner and a few metres from Dishoom. Good selection of wines and drinks list. Maitre d was welcoming. It’s in a nice plaza , bit of a sanctuary just off Long Acre, Covent Garden with several restaurants.

I come here for years now for a break from shopping, as well as dinners, lunches and wine with friends. They are pricey, but with the location and consistency it’s worth it. Their life music evenings are great! However, today I was refused from sitting down for a coffee and quite rudely lectured by a waiter that ‘This is a winebar and they don’t serve coffee’, unless I want to stand at the bar ‘and only if I drink it fast’. So surprising, as with my parents we have done it many times in the past and at the time half of the outside tables were empty. Disappointing!

We discovered this beautiful wine bar restaurant and we had an amazing dinner, the gentleman with the bordeaux suit give us top recommendations and make our experience perfect, he showed gret knowledge of their selection of wines and perfect maridage.

The food was decent and great ambiance. Mocktail was alright. But the head serveur was very persistent of telling us continuously that we need to give up our table at a certain time. Which is understandable but I think we got the message the first time. My friends that were visiting felt it was a bit unwelcoming. Not quite the British hospitality I was hoping to show them

We visited as a party of friends, I have never experienced so rude . Inappropriate behaviour And Unprofessional staff . The staff got very rude telling us to leave after an hour and a half of having table as booked out for other clients but I think there was of a more appropriate way to suggest guests to leave as to swear at them !!!!! I will never return and I suggest staff are trained in customer service in order to promote the business .

Really enjoyed this space. Wine was wonderful and service was prompt. We sat in the courtyard which was wonderful with the sun beaming down. We only intended to have a glass but stayed for more and some snacks. Upon leaving the hosts provided us with complementary lemoncello. The perfect send off to a perfect wine bar. Bravo 👏

Posto incredibilmente fine ed elegante che ben si adatta a chi desideri concedersi un momento di pausa in cui poter sorseggiare un buon vino. Il manager, Eros, saprà consigliarvi nella scelta, nonché mostrarvi quel connubio di gentilezza e disponibilità che chiunque entri per la prima volta in un locale mai frequentato prima, spera di ritrovare in colui o colei che lo accoglie.

This is a really nicely presented wine bar, but, and it’s a big enough but for me not to return and also to take the time to write this review. One of the servers/ waiters is utterly rude. Terrible approach to customers. Honestly, find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money and do not line the pockets of these snotty individuals. They really do not deserve it!

Great spot! Wine by the glass was so good we stayed for dinner. Ordered the lasagne and sea bass - both were excellent. The service was really great as well - the guy with the transparent glasses was very nice. There was live music (piano / singer) which created a great vibe. They have an outdoor and an indoor area - highly recommend!

Wandered in during a typical London summer storm without a booking for a late lunch.... Greeted by the absolutely professional, friendly and utterly gorgeous French/Italian staff. They were unbelievably accommodating. Simple quality authentic Italian cuisine. New bartender pulled out the stops with perfect drinks. So flexible about menu substitutes. French manager was so knowledgeable and experienced. Very friendly as all the staff. (And easy on anyones eye) Styled decor. Good value. Booked our next meal on the spot.
