Decent coffee better than most multiples

Had a bad experience here, food and service lovely but didn’t expect to be harassed by drunk patrons at 10.30am, the man in question was being served alcohol with no food and unsurprising started to kick off. There weren’t enough staff to deal with him so a fellow diner had to take charge and manage to persuade him to leave when upon he continued to rant and rave at us all from the pavement. I don’t know the law regarding alcohol service before midday but I didn’t expect it at this time of day and won’t go again despite the lovely position and food, the management are putting the staff at risk as no one came to assist the two female staff on site.

Eaten here maybe 8/9 times and every time it’s always spot on. Thank you for making my birthday special

With a big party of 15, the staff were fantastic with everything. Mimmo went out of his way to ensure it was a fun & memorable evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and how traditional the small restaurant is, very reasonably priced.I’d definitely recommend Etnas for an enjoyable evening, thankyou!

Still one of my favourite restaurants, but the best Italian overall. Cosy, intimate, great service, delicious food, reasonable prices, what more do you want? Thank you Guys.

I love this wee authentic Italian cafe, great for grabbing a bite to eat and coffee and watching the world go by. Nice coffees, fantastic bakery food and the meals are tasty and proper homemade with fresh incredients.

This was the first time visiting this restaurant. It won't be our last. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much for them. There were six of us in our party, table 5, two of the party were celebrating their 60th birthdays. The staff made us all very welcome from the second we entered. The food was fantastic. I liked the "open kitchen" so it was possible to see the chefs at work. We all ordered different meals, which were excellent prepared, presented and tasted wonderful. We intend going back in the next month or so. Thanks for a great evening with great food.

After a hard week I was really looking forward to going out for dinner but when the person, an older man who is usually ok but must’ve been having an off day ! Just muttered to me from the start & Only bothers to take one step to find us a table when it was obviously not the best one of what was free, just muttering still when I asked for a different table away from the draught of the door & chucking the menus on each table & having the cheek to verbally ask if we were giving a tip at the end ! I know anyone can have an off day but if you do a front of house job, you have to hide it, I have a front of house job & his behaviour spoilt my experience! Other staff were pleasant

What a great restaurant. You are greeted as an old friend, the service is friendly and efficient, the food is absolutely terrific, there is a great atmosphere, and fantastic value for money.

I would like to start to confirm that the food was excellent. The service was poor, extremely rushed and pressured, not an enjoyable experience at all. The sommelier was equally uninterested, not unfriendly but had other things on his mind. Even when we were leaving, the were more interested in queuing up for their own meal than getting our coats which we got ourselves, no goodbye or thank you. Our first time here, not a pleasant experience.

A cosy atmosphere, the best of the prezzos! The loviest staff with delicious food and beautiful decorations. Such a shame it is closing, it will be surely missed, has always been the one to go to for birthdays and special occasions! Thank you to Jane and all the staff.

A real gem in the middle of Crystal Palace. We looked in and nearly left as couldn’t see any tables. Fortunately we went in and asked and they had a lovely downstairs area which was spacious and quieter but still had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were attentive and great. But the main reason for sharing the love in this review was the food. Reasonable priced but authentic and delicious. Every mouthful was heaven. We tried the sizzling garlic prawns, arancini and stuffed mushrooms for starters all 10/10. Mains followed with meatballs, lasagne and a pizza Bella all 10/10 again! We didn’t want to push our luck as everything had been perfect and we were stuffed but saw the tiramisu was a 40 year old family recipe, as my daughter makes it frequently at home trying to create the best version she had to try. Oh my it was the lightest and most delicious version we have ever had. One happy girl! Two limoncellos for us to finish come in iced glasses . Wow just wow.. as we were leaving we told the staff how amazing the whole meal had been and it meant a lot as I can see how much passion and love they put into their food always nice to say thank you!

Last night on our boat we moored in the yard and ventured across the road.. super friendly family pub. Warm welcome , good prices and big portions. Will be going again.

Visited as three couples on a wet Saturday evening. It was busy when we arrived early but welcome was efficient and friendly. We ordered a couple of drinks while waiting for others to arrive. Though the place was very busy we were not rushed to place our orders, which was nice , giving us time to catch up with each other. Extensive menu with many typical Italian dishes and a few less common options. Prices normal for a good restaurant and will happily return in the future
