Zizzi - Hull in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Was going to go to real China but the queue was too long. So decided on zizzi instead. Was a life choice I didn't regret. Food was incredible. Friendly staff and not a long wait time for food. Would Highly recommend.

Some sort of unidentified vegetable in our salad. No idea what it is, not in the ingredient list, could potentially be allergic, this shouldn't be allowed.

I'm a regular here as I travel to Hull a lot with work so I'm always on my own but the staff here always make me feel very welcome and like part of the family. Especially Kaiya and Caitlin. The food is always great and the atmosphere is nice too.

The non gluten carbonara was lovely, but the garlic bread and pizza were average. Garlic bread had thick black soot on the bottom which made it taste awful. The pinoli had an inadequate amount of toppings and had not been cut. Wouldn’t usually mind but at £30 it ain’t cheap!

lovely place, came here for my birthday meal with friends and wasn't disappointed. ordered the wrong dish but the waiter was very understanding and quickly gave us the one we wanted. very kind staff who asked me about my birthday plans. overall a lovely place with amazing food (especially the lasagne)and I would definitely come again!

The food is fantastic, we had the goats cheese & honey bombe for a starter and it was creamy and gorgeous, all the dishes we had were delicious, 10/10 Yaz looked after us and made sure we were comfortable, she is very friendly and has a sense of humour that instantly makes you feel welcomed in. Highly recommend

Calzone la bomba is highly recommended! The kids meals are always a hit with our kids here. Only marked down for atmosphere because it was very quiet.

After a arduous shopping trip at St Stephens, I was longing for a exquisite but utilitarian meal. I’ve had “food” before, but after the days task, I was requiring an experience and not sustenance. I arrived at the typical meal time hour, it was busy…But the staff were attentive to every requirement I had. I felt as if I had stepped into a family kitchen rather than a restaurant. After the warmth in my heart grew, it was time for it to enter my stomach. I perused the varied and well thought out menu. There are two things in life that I hold dear in my heart, my wife, and pork and garlic meatballs. Now there is only one thing I treasure… After that taste extravaganza, I waltzed onto the main. A chicken milanese. I’m a huge believer in the northern delicacy of the Chicken Parmesan. But this felt like a far more refined experience. A divine gift upon longing taste buds. After the ecstasy of the first 2/3 of the meal, I moved onto my final conquest. Giant festive profiteroles. I ordered these as a little joke to myself, as Christmas had ended at this point, and it felt humorous to order a Christmas item menu after the fact. But a joke it was not. The pastry, light but decadent. The cream…Oh the cream… I think about this meal on a daily basis and what it meant to me. Zizzi, thank you for this experience. I simply cannot wait to return again…So much so, that I’m planning another shopping trip to St Stephens just to visit again

Lovely service, great food. Missed out on a few Christmas dishes but expected. Caitlin was fantastic too and kept us well informed with what was available and offered up great suggestions for set menu alternatives. Looking forward to coming back.

Waitress was miserable and difficult to chat too. Found small black hair as i cut pizza as i removed it i lost it so couldn't say anything . Bread on child's portion dry and didn't feel very fresh . I was waiting for code to come through , told waitress and offered no help …. Uninterested.

Quite possibly the worst Italian I’ve had. The chips come stone cold and then when they did arrive they were the same chips but just chucked back in the fryer or something so over cooked. The meatballs where completely flavour less the sauce was to runny. Open planned kitchen and could hear the chef swearing. Over priced rubbish.

Had a fab dinner tonight at Zizzi in Hull. Food was delicious, we had the festive 3 course meal and our baby had his own little 3 course meal! Caitlin and Abbey were so patient and attentive throughout and so lovely with our little one, they definitely made the visit even better! Thank you so much for a lovely time. Food here was okay, I’d give my pizza a 6/10. The venison and beef stew was good, service not so much. Our waitress barely came to our table at all the check on us, we only saw her when she took our order, and cleanup once we were done eating. She was nice but not at the same time. It was.. unfortunate. We are American 🇺🇸 and not sure if that had anything to do with it. This is how people have been treating us ever sense we got here. The customers here also were giving us dirty looks and literally starring at us almost the whole time, not a smile in sight even when I smiled at them. I wouldn’t recommend coming here as a foreigner, they don’t make you feel welcomed at ALL. Very disappointed ☹️
