Well we had a hiccup with the food due to new staff members but it was very quickly resolved and in a more than adequate way. Food was piping hot, flavoursome, and filling. They've cut their drinks menu down, which is no bad thing as you could spend half an hour reading it. There's some air hockey tables to play and good low-level music playing. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a pit burger, and the wifey had a mac 'n' cheese burger.

Luvly bit of grub got the wrong sauce on me chicken wings but was still yummy the Mrs was fuming but this isn't her review!!! More for me!!! Drinks were a bit spenny compared to the exact same drinks in spoons but there weren't any crackheads so that's a plus. Cheers brewdawgs

Fantastic beers, food AND staff! Had a great time! Highly recommend it. Plenty of seating inside and out. Reds True BBQ menu is so yummy! Brewdogs are all dog friendly (and kid friendly up to certain times). Entrance via shopping centre or from outside. Loads of craft beer to choose from or cocktails and wine options if that’s your poison.

Went out for birthday treat £52 fior 2 drinks and 2 different burger meals with fries ..1st time been out for ages as hysband & wife bit piddly and sadly disappointing birthday meal 😢

Food and service were great. My only concern was some of the staff didn't know what they were serving which for a craft taproom, is kinda worrying. But they were super friendly and the food was spot on. Need new shuffleboard pucks though, the ones we used looked haggard.

Bought my son a coke the glass had lipstick on it and was generally filthy. Took it back 2 female staff really rude started openly looking at me and talking about me. Told them i clearly wasnt lying. Still continued to gossip about me. A guy with and tattoed arms served me in the end with no fuss.....really rude terrible customer service

My recent stop at Brew Dog in Hull before going to Connexin Live was a brilliant! Even though it was packed, the staff were cool about it. We'd booked, but they warned us about a wait. We explained we had a show to catch and they promised to hustle our order, suggesting we order quickly ahead of a big group that just arrived. They totally came through – our food showed up quick and was delicious! I went for the hotdog, and my husband devoured a burger, both with fries... and top-notch. Their beer and gin selection is massive too! But what really made it was the awesome service. Despite the packed bar, the staff were super friendly and on the ball. Looks like it's dog friendly too as our neighbours had a small pooch with them. If you're in Hull and need a bite and a brew, Brew Dog's the spot!

Bar service is so slow and then venue is very cold. I love brew dog beers which is why I am really annoyed with the way they operate the hull branch. You can regularly spend 5-10 minutes queuing but today the queue was 20 people plus with 1 barman (lots of extra staff lurking around). Whilst queuing 2 different groups of customers around me gave up. After 12 minutes my wife pulls me out to go to the many punks across the dock. Do the maths and ask the question!!

It good for a pizza and glass of wine..mains are far from spectacular. One sauce fits all..we found it very disappointing. I doubt if we would go back any time soon.

Fantastic food in a friendly relaxing environment. Staff very pleasant and service was quick. The only negative I would say is the table for two next to the staff cleaning/condiment station really does not work!! It's very close to all the busy staff going in and out of it and quite a distraction while we were eating and chatting it definitelyneeds to be moved. Other than that it's a fantastic place!!

We have held several family lunch parties here over the last 18 months. We always have good food and service. The menu also caters for the food allergies and intolerances within the family. On this occasion we pre-booked a Sunday family lunch for 9 (7 adults and 2 children) to celebrate my birthday. We ordered lots of different meals and drinks between us all from the main menu, children's menu and allergen menu. The guy serving us wrote nothing down but got everything right! My head was reeling! All the food (mostly pizza and pasta) was hot, fresh and tasty. Most of us didn't order a sweet as my son had brought a birthday cake and the staff kindly produced plates and a cake knife. Only the children and the ladies with food allergies ordered sweets (chocolate orange cake) which they declared was perfect. All in all it was a great meal, great service and we will be back.

Saturday evening pre theatre meal, sadly it was lacking and I don’t think the visit will be repeated. Ordered Pollo milanaise, the broccoli was luke warm and the sauce was lacking in flavour. A waste of money.

Waited in a relatively empty place for someone to come take my order, I went to the bar and was asked to find a table. Utterly rubbish.

After seeing the offer of a valentines three course meal last year, we opted to visit this year for valentines. We ordered the Butterfly King Prawns, Mushroom and truffle Calzone, Chicken Lecca Lecca, Beef Brisket Pappardelle and two chocolate brownies. I was rather disappointed in my starter as the prawns were like bullets with little flavour. The ciabatta underneath was delightful but I would never order the prawns again. The chicken Lecca Lecca was fine but aside from the garlic mayo being good, you can find better down the street at Mcdonalds for less. A theme emerged with the Calzone as the bread on it was really nice but the inside was just uninteresting and again lacking. My partner didn't particularly enjoy the beef brisket as it tasted odd and was generally unpleasant. Lastly the dessert, the chocolate brownie. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. I've had better tasting brownies and ice cream for less. Quite frankly it's disappointing when you can walk down Jameson street and hop into McDonalds and Greggs and come out with better tasting food. As for the drinks, we ordered a Passionfruit Martini, Citrus Spice and Valentines Martini. The Passionfruit Martini was underwhelming, I've had better in a can. The citrus spice was actually reasonably good with a refreshing taste. The valentines Martini is an insult to both chocolate and vodka. Tasteless and weak. Service was also incredibly lacking. This is likely due to how busy it was but we were left ignored aside from when our order was taken and when food or drinks were delivered . Nobody checked on us. We were served by at least five different people which felt rather impersonal and our food and drinks were quite slow to come out. Whilst I understand that it was busy, standards should be upheld. A major negative note which was somewhat remedied was towards the end of our meal when we made an order for a drink. One server came to ask if we were ready for our bill to which we informed we were waiting for a drink taken by another server. We then proceeded to sit there like idiots for over 30 minutes before someone finally noticed we were sat waiting. Apparently the drink went to another table who declined it and nobody decided to check on us during this whole time or chase up where that drink should have gone. We had a couple of drinks knocked off our bill and we left. An additional sour note is that whilst we were there, the kitchen wound up burning things twice which added a lovely burning smell to the dining room which triggered my partners Asthma. Really topped off the night. Quite frankly this is both mine and my partners worst dining experience.

This was a fantastic pub for a drink, situated suitably by the dockside! The layout is large and maintains a hip design, well lit later into the day especially at the counter. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed a classic Elvis Juice, sitting at a sleek table!

We had a fantastic meal at BrewDog Hull. The staff in the kitchen we chatted to were wonderful and helpful. They created some amazing food and fed us well! The reds feast on a bin lid (£45) was delicious and huge! Every bit of the food was fantastically well prepared and presented. A shame the venue has not made use of the app ordering as many BrewDog restaurants and bars do. This meant we ordered fewer drinks than we would have really!

Did the Quiz, which was a good laugh. The quizmaster does a really good job. Food was excellent. It was just a little cold inside the building. Bit apart from that, highly recommended.

They managed to put 5 of us on a small round table even though larger ones where available. the food itself was OK although the price for what actually turned up was underwelming. you would get a better pizza at a lower price from places like Kashmir Continental on Hessle road. While my daught likes Ask Italian (which was the reason for going -Birthday outing), it would never be my choice for a place to eat

Generally very poor all round. Booked in advance on daughters graduation day and asked for bottle of fizz to be on table, ( to purchase) nothing there on arrival, when asked said she checked the note 5 minutes before our arrival and they didn’t have any. No interaction from staff, no check back even on a very quiet lunch time and food very bland and average. £78 for one pizza, 2 bland pastas a salad and 4 cokes. Toilets filthy. Wish we had stuck with pizza express.

Went today with my Wife for her birthday and it was closed even though it stated on the door and on google it opened at 12???

Shockingly bad - out of stock of everything. I suspect closure soon. Don't waste your money.

We had a brilliant time on Wednesday night. Pop in for t to have a break from moving house. Can’t fault them at all. Food was amazing, we tried a couple of drinks but for me the Hazey Jane guava was the winner. Good value for money definitely recommend it. Staff were also really lovely. Only 2 lads on the bar and floor and they didn’t stop. Check backs right away and clearing tables fast. Very chatty and welcoming. Thank you for a good night.

Managed to squeeze in a table unbooked on a Friday night which we were pleased about. Food was nice and value was pretty good. A few service bits missing; forgotten wine, no offer of parmesan.black pepper and kids menu wait for the third course but was pretty busy so elements can be expected

Trendy for club night out, drinks expensive, but they're not the usual beers more bespoke. Nice staff. Not for us, but great for others Worth a try

2 very bland pizza with 1 small side salad 58 pounds rip off. Slow service. So you buy more drinks at prices a their would only charge wouldn't go again the local greasy kebab house has more flavour. Really plain and flavour less. Toilets was filthy too

Brewdog Hull is a great pub. They concentrate on what's important the beer. The excellent brew dog beers, which I often buy in bottles, are all available on draft. Elvis Juce, hazy Jane, and so many others. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's an impressive building overlooking Princess dock. With an outside seating area over the water. A great place for a drink in the summer. There is a very good food menu with some excellent burgers. It's not cheap, but then you get what you'll pay for. It's a good place to go after being to the vue cinema, definitely recommended.

Staff friendly and very polite, knowledgeable, and give off very good vibe. The mac and cheese is bloody amazing!!

Nice place but a little expensive

Honestly, this place has gone a little downhill. The barbecue menu that features on banner adverts and street signage is now disappointingly reduced compared to what it once was. Food and drink is quite expensive, especially considering the area and competing offerings - which I’d understand if it was a chain, but as a franchise instalment, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect it to compensate for this. On top of all that, they’re far behind on the norm for other brewery-managed equivalents - we couldn’t even use our clubcard vouchers, even though the scheme has been present for a month. Luckily, bar staff and customer service pick up where the offerings fall flat, but their effort and enthusiasm is rather overshadowed, by the decisions of a management that obviously stopped caring a while ago. It was also really cold inside, which might be understandable considering it was four degrees Celsius outside. This probably wasn’t helped by the furnishings, that give all the industrial grit of a reception area in an edge-obsessed student lettings office, with about the same amount of warmth and comfort. If you want an Ask Italian or Pizza Express kind of experience, but want to eat like you’re pulled over at the side of a main road in Brighton, you might enjoy this - but for anyone else, I’d recommend against it.

It was very busy but you didn't feel crowded. We felt very comfortable in our surroundings. My husband had a pasta dish and I had the Stromboli pizza. Delicious. For dessert we had Snowball Gnocchi. So yummy, wonderful. We loved this place.

A really enjoyable experience. My husband and I went for lunch prior to seeing a show at Connexin Arena. Staff were very welcoming. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, lovely surroundings. Drinks are expensive but was expected. Food did take a little longer to arrive than expected but was definitely worth the wait, absolutely lovely.

Great place been to a couple brewdog throughout the UK and this one one is definitely one to visit when in Hull.

£15 for butternut and goats cheese, no butternut, no pine nuts, no apology... didn't expect to leave more hungry with what was supposed to be a main meal but looked like a starter... Did I mention £15??

Food was ok, beer is good. You either like the brewdog beers or you dont... unfortunately service super slow - had to prompt and ask for everything. Also, its cashless. I didnt know this until I got there - I dont use social media and I didnt feel the need to hunt around to find if you are cashless or not.. The fact they wont accept cash to me is discriminatory - I wanted to pay cash. I wont be coming here again.

It's like weatherspoons for hipsters. I'm not complaining as they have all the tasty beers. Awesome staff, friendly, welcoming. This is what Brewdog is all about.

What a place to start The Boat Party! We’re treated like VIPs … and especially by Anna Wright … who looked after us like we were family! Big up to Docks Beers who came to tell us their story. If I’m ever in Grimsby - gonna hit you up guys!

Went for a meal with family prior to a visit to the fair. Food was lovely with a really nice view and staff are very welcoming and quick on their feet. Food reasonably priced, drinks very expensive. Nice walk over to the marina afterwards. Will be back at some point in the future

This was my go to place to eat when I visited Hull, wonderful local and craft drinks and lovely food. BUT the menu has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I loved their rib and wing combo...now no longer. There's burgers and hot dogs and other bits Please bring back your original menu....

Chips were the saltiest ones I’ve ever had. Way too much! Probably would’ve been nice without all the salt. Cheeseburger fries nice idea but the burger bits were cold. Hadn’t even eaten our food before someone else came over to ask if everything was okay. Friend paid for regular coke (so the sugar tax) and was given a Coke Zero so had to go up & change it.

Food always great here and the service is fantastic. Particular shout out to Dom who not only had a fantastic memory but was super attentive and made our visit a great experience.

Came for drinks and a few nibbles in the sun mid afternoon Food was excellent and so was the service until the male waiter decided to just come over and give us the bill without us asking for it or enquiring if we wanted anything else which we were just about to order as we still had drinks left Never felt so pressured to leave in my life or experienced such service I’ve never left a restaurant without paying a tip until today feel sorry for the rest of the staff if that is his level of customer service

A great bar, love the look, the staff are friendly, and of course its Brewdog, so whats not to like! Worst thing about it is having to choose which of the beers to drink (Hazy Jane & Black Heart are my favourite beers at the moment), every one of the wide choice available is a winner. Didnt eat but the food looked great!

Nice place with amazing beers and good food. The Elvis Juice is definitely a recommendation if you like fruity and strong IPA'S. Else the Planet Pale Ale is also recommended.

Meal.out before we come home. Always love ask Italian....starter of flat garlic bread with caramelised onions was so tasty and olives....tasty fruit de mar spaghetti was so so tasty with muscles. Clams . Prawns & squid ..really needs to be tried. & spicy calzone. Beers and a expresso martini...Great atmosphere and very professional and friendly staff. Will be back again on our next visit

We ordered I think it was two or three meat choices with a side of onion rings and chips. Food was cold when it arrived, onion rings where greasy and chips where nothing special. Also had barely any cocktails available when we went and on their website it says happy hour after 8pm any two cocktails for £12 and they didn’t have any available at that time. Would not recommend

Lovely meal at Ask. Staff friendly and efficient and we had the most decadent gorgeous dessert ever. Love Ask pizzas and never been let down.

This is my first visit to an Ask Italian for about a year, but my previous happy experience with this chain wasn't repeated on this visit. The serving staff were friendly and helpful and my complaint is not with them. However, my expensive pizza and companion's lasagne were significantly smaller than on previous visits (to a different branch) and there was very little topping on my pizza. Furthermore, the bottom of my pizza was covered in unpleasant tasting black soot, presumably from an uncleaned oven. Needless to say, we didn't order dessert and I won't be returning to Ask Italian anytime soon.

It wasn't my idea to come, and I won't be back. Firstly we were crammed into a stupid corner seat until I asked that we were moved, then I paid 7 quid for a bottle of Peroni that was so warm I had to ask for a glass of ice. The luganega pasta was tasty if overdone, the carbonara nothing that I couldn't have knocked up myself. Absolutely disgusting prices, I'll never set foot in one of these again.

This is card only but we booked it for a birthday.ihad to go and eat elsewhere on principle. The rest of our party are unlikely to book here again in the future as they felt really guilty that I could not join in.

Unfortunately the food here is awful. Dry, reheated…probably for days at a time. All came out cold, twice. I’ve never seen wings like it, looked like a dogs leg. A malnourished street dogs’ leg. Please don’t waste your money here it’s truly terrible. Served on a bin lid! Cut out the middle man and just turn the bin lid upside down where it belongs.

The over all experience was pretty poor from the start! Seated at a FILTHY table, was told to order through the QR code, then a waitress rocks up to take our order without even been given a chance to look at the menu, she then proceeded to sit down next to my partner which was unprofessional and extremely uncomfortable, felt pressured to order faster and her deadpan approach to waitering was just rude! The food was average to say the least! The chips and onion rings were nice, however all of the meat was cold! And for £25 for 3 meats you’d expect it all to be hot, waiter threw the food in the table no care towards asking for anything else he just walked away. Check back was done but was done at an unnecessary speed, we’d barely even touched the food before she did it. To also see so many of the staff drinking pints from the taps while on shift behind the bar is absolutely shocking, fair enough if you’re sampling a new draft but this was not the case this should be looked into. Will not be returning anytime soon

Enjoyed most of it apart from the brisket which had mostly fat and not much meet. Nice and helpful staff though.

When Brewdog is at it's best, I love it. But it's way too inconsistent for me, it really needs more reliable stout and sour options. The service here is usually good but again inconsistent. These things stop me choosing brewdog everytime when I want a drink.

Called in for dinner, overall ok though nothing special. Nicely presented interior to the old maritime building which creates a pleasant atmosphere for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Our drinks and starter to share both nice. Main course was slow, even though the restaurant only half full. We both had Sea Bass, good flavour to the fish though a puddle of watery sauce at the bottom of the bowls. We'd go there again.

Great place for craft beers and even better for BBQ food!

Lovely place to chill and have a cheeky beer along with alcohol free options, too. We didn't have the food as we arrived too late in the evening. There's an arcade machine or two and a couple of pub games.

Every time I’ve gone in with my girlfriend, it has been a great experience. The food is great, the staff are always helpful and friendly and the music is class. Always come back for a pint when I can!

We had an excellent three courses each with two different cocktails and a coffee and limoncello to finish with. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We were looked after by Lydia who was charming and attentive but not overly so. Thank you!

Amazing! Cannot fault the service, food or amazing drinks 🥰 highly recommend! So many different beers to try, however I could steer myself away from the raspberry slush and found myself ordering one after the other 🤣 The service was excellent and staff are so friendly

Went for a birthday and the staff were super helpful with setting up before we arrived and bringing out the cake at the end of the visit. Excellent service, food and drinks were delicious and such a great atmosphere. Everyone had such a great time and we can’t wait to come back. Only gripe is food can be relatively expensive as chips are not included with the burger (but are flipping delicious) and the sharer is for 2 people min meaning it’s £50 not the £25 on the menu (it does state 2 people minimum but I feel it is slightly misleading as it looks like it’s £25 and needs 2 people to eat it not it’s £25 each). However this aside I would absolutely recommend!

Great beer, vibes and food. Must visit if you’re into craft beer, staff more then happy to help with finding something you’ll like, great selection of cans to enjoy whilst your there too or take em out with you as a nice walking/road beer. Get down there xx

Can't speak to the food as we didn't order any, but the drinks and atmosphere were superb, and they were quite proud of their carbon negative status.

The pasta meal was shocking didn’t eat it sent it back. Management never came to the table to apologise or offer us a free drink. We also had a brusetta starter which was like a thin slice of white toasted bread and cold tomatoes on it.

BBQ basket is very good for the price. Beer is delightful, what else can I say?

I want to say thanks to the team at Hull for how great you were last Saturday 6th May. I booked a table for birthday celebrations and mentioned wanting to play shuffleboard. We had balloons and a shuffleboard kit waiting for us. Thanks for being so accommodating. Also great friendly service. Good vibes 😄

We were looking for an early evening meal before a concert but found several local places closed. We also have dietary restrictions but the menu at ASK was helpful and clear allowing us to select something suitable. The meals were just fine as were the drinks and deserts. The service was efficient and straight forward.I did find their speciality "frilly" pasta a bit heavy going but otherwise there were no issues. Not fine dining but not poor either. Just good for an simple meal out.

The sauce in the carbonara linguine tasted ready made. The flavour does not justify the price. Our glasses, my cup and the cutlery had a film on it. When I asked for a clean glas , I didn’t receive an apology

Went last night for grandsons 21 St as I use a walker and disabled staff where fantastic food good bit expensive atmosphere great welcoming will return chocolate and rum coke delicious thank you xx

Nice food, reasonable prices and good service - just what we needed. We had kids with us and the kids meal choices were perfect and reasonably priced. Kids also loved the little shot of lemonade at the beginning.
