Wildwood in Lincoln

Éramos una fiesta de 26 celebrando un nuevo trabajo de colegas Pedimos por adelantado del menú del grupo, varios días antes. Sin embargo, era más de 1. 5 horas después de sentarse que nos sirvieron, con el personal declarando que estaban ocupados! No es genial. Entonces nos aseguraron que nuestra red eléctrica seguiría rápidamente después, sin embargo, esto tampoco sucedió.

Mejor con una cálida bienvenida de Kamila que también nos sirvió. El menú fue explicado y las elecciones hechas. La comida deliciosa se presentó bien y Kamila lo hizo una experiencia positiva.

Lovely meal with my son for my birthday. Waitress was super Told us about upstairs cinema and let us have a look.

Very busy but the staff worked really hard to maintain a decent service. Big shout out to Emily who was our waitress. Really enjoyed our meals and would come back again. Great menu also!

Una vez sentado esperó más de 20 minutos para ser hablado. Esperó 15 minutos para recibir una bebida y orden tomada. Esperó más de 25 minutos para que un pan de ajo se compartiera como entrada. Platos y cubiertos sucios pedimos que se cambiaran. Esperábamos casi una hora después del arranque a que se sirviera la red y cuando interrogamos a la gerente entró en una actitud muy defensiva diciendo que estaba ocupado y ella estaba al tanto de la espera, sin embargo si habías pedido una salida parecías estar bien con eso, la comida estaba volando fuera de la cocina en bolsas marrones 🤷🏻‍♀️. Desde el momento en que habíamos interrogado al gerente el servicio empeoró aún más, no muy profesional en absoluto. Nos dejaron sentados con platos sucios durante más de 30 minutos después de la red, nadie preguntó si nos gustaría más bebidas en toda la noche. Finalmente pedimos postres y continuamos esperando. Considerando que cuando reservas dice que tienes la mesa para 2 horas, más de 3 horas después todavía estábamos esperando la factura. Tuvimos que pedir dos veces la factura, ya que nos ignoraron y cuando finalmente llegó pedimos que se quitara el cargo por servicio (no pague por mal servicio) la joven se dirigió a la mesa de pago riéndose y se lo dijo a otro miembro del personal que miró a nuestra mesa y comenzó a reírse. Nunca en 59 años había visto un servicio al cliente tan terrible y un gerente que parece pensar que esto es aceptable, un comportamiento repugnante. Para colmo, rellené los comentarios de los clientes y solicité a alguien que se pusiera en contacto conmigo desde la oficina central, lo que también ha sido ignorado, parece que esta es una práctica común para este lugar, ya que hay muchas más quejas de servicio al cliente Hay muchos restaurantes en Lincoln, yo elegiría uno diferente

Our party of 4 had the philly cheese steak which for £17 odd was well under sized ,the steak was very thin and sloppy ! and bland in taste and my chips were too crispy. Staff were very good and polite,the atmosphere was very loud

Luego pedimos y de nuevo nos sorprendió la velocidad de nuestra llegada de alimentos, ya que estaba muy ocupado. Arrancadores terminados nos despejaron y la red de entrada poco después con más líquido proporcionado para lavar. La calidad y el sabor en general fue excelente y todos disfrutaron de su comida. Nuestro servidor era muy servicial, pero algunos otros comensales parecían decepcionados por los suyos, o alternativamente podría haber tenido suficiente de las multitudes de Navidad! La factura no era irrazonable para 6 adultos que comían 3 platos y 2 bebidas cada uno ( 2 tenían 3 ) todavía entrando por debajo de £ 200 . Volveremos de nuevo y lo he hecho y lo recomendaré a los amigos.

I’ve been here plenty of times throughout the years however, I went on New Year’s Day and have to say… the food is very mediocre for the price!! None of us felt like the food was worth the amount of money that we paid. Also, it’s great that they have a children’s play area but I have to say, it was filthy. I was not comfortable with my child playing in there as everything just looked dirty but I gave it the benefit of the doubt… low and behold, I now have a sick child and we’ve not been anywhere else. Staff were fine, the food area seemed nice and clean. Play area and pricing needs work.

The Tuscan sausage pasta dish was very good, spicy without being overpowering and a very good portion. I'd highly recommend this dish. Restaurant was spacious, dinner was very good and restrooms were clean.

The piri piri pasta had a great flavor, and the chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy and not dry at all. However, there were only four small pieces of chicken, which felt a bit stingy considering the price. Also, the dish could have been served hotter to enhance the experience. Overall, tasty, but more generous portions and better temperature would make it excellent.

Waited over an hour for main course but when it arrived was very nice.

Food is lovely, great play area for the kids but the service is so weird. We pre-booked a big table, and were told to preorder our food 3 weeks in advance which was fine, but some of us didn't manage to do it. So ordering was a total nightmare. It really needs some work.

Went here yesterday for a family Christmas get together. The place is nice but the food is overpriced and not good value for money. The service was rubbish, food orders wrong, drinks orders missed. The kids meals were dependant on who served you. My kids got half of pizza, the table next to us got a full mini pizza. It could be so much better IMO. My advice would be good somewhere else. They had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to the the bill. I don't think so.

I recently went here for a meal with my family and I must say the staff were ace, Rosie who was serving us was so good and welcoming definitely the best service I’ve ever received would recommend this establishment to everyone.

Tuvimos una maravillosa visita a Wildwood hoy, ninguno de nosotros había estado antes y tuvimos una gran experiencia aquí. Fuimos para un almuerzo familiar y experiencia de cine, había un montón de otras familias allí con niños de edades similares y hay una sala de juegos en la parte trasera para los niños, que realmente era genial para cuando se pusieron un poco inquietos. Las sillas eran cómodas. El restaurante estaba limpio, tiene un ambiente encantador y decorado muy bien para Navidad. Nuestra camarera era muy amable y servicial y la comida era un buen estándar, nuestros hijos comieron todas sus comidas. Sin duda volveríamos aquí y fue un buen toque ir a ver una película aquí después. 5 * de nosotros!

I always look forward to visiting a Wildwood restaurant and never had a bad experience yet. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious with plenty of room. The food is out of this world. 10/10 all round

Had really lovely food today, not a long wait either despite it being quite busy. Good service from our waitress Rosie who was very friendly and polite. Had a lovely time.

Went here for our outdoor girls groups Christmas party and it was fabulous! Good package which including wine/prosecco and 3 course meal. The location was great, plenty of space for all of us, nice waiting area where we had a drink to wait for people to arrive. The waitresses were brilliant, very good service and such a laugh for putting up with our group and it's unorganised ways. The food was delicious as well, I'm annoyed I forgot to photograph the pudding as that was very tasty 😋 but it was all very well done. Facilties were very nice and clean, it's Lincoln central area so no parking but plenty of buses or car parks nearby. Would like to return to do their cinema packages! Looks great.

We had a brilliant waitress called Tess! She checked in regularly with us and was so friendly and personable. Her kindness made our experience 1000 times better and we will return for our annual trip to Lincoln!

Absolutely fantastic! Booked for 24 of us (adults & children) for my sister in laws birthday from America, service was excellent even with new staff members serving. Food delicious and cooked well. Will definitely return and recommend. Thank you

Amazing food, I had the oven roasted chicken and mushroom penne and my partner had the lasagna, came piping hot and tasting amazing.

We came here to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. We had all booked and pre ordered all our meals. My partner and myself have never been here before and I can honestly say we will never return!. We arrived early and were seated.. Amongst used disguarded tissues and large amounts of spilt/ dropped food stuffs on the floor and stuck onto table legs.. I asked the waitress to please sweep up the distgusting remnants of the previous diners. ( which obviously should have been dealt with before our party arrived). Our meal was booked for 20.00 and after two attempts of getting our pre ordered food..we were finally served at 21.02!! My 6/ tiger prawns were served in a bowl full of chilli ,chilli and more chilli! With some stale bread as an accompliment! My main of seafood linguine consisted of 3 king prawns..one piece of calamari and 7 mussels ( of which 3 were not open)! However if you enjoy tomatoes you are in luck as I removed at least 10 half cherry tomatoes from the dish! The only saving grace is that when I went to pay and voiced my opinion..I was told it was on the house. Thankyou. First time here but unfortunately the last!

A great place with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was amazing, the team were very accommodating to the allergies in the group and very well informed. Really happy and would totally recommend!

Had a steak and cheese pizza it was lovely but could have a bit more steak on it , but apart from that it was very tasty. Will come back again 👍👍👍

I was seated quickly, at 1743. No one spoke to me, at 1800 I got up and left. Not a good experience. The hostess was very nice, sadly, the wait staff failed to follow thru. I won’t go again.

Terrible servicio! El restaurante estaba lejos de estar lleno y el personal se preguntaba alrededor mientras nos sentamos a esperar. Estuvimos en el restaurante más de 90 minutos y acabamos de tener entrantes. La comida era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Incluso esperar a pagar era doloroso. Nos levantamos al final y fuimos a la camarera, había un cargo por servicio añadido a la cuenta, éramos demasiado educados para pedirles que lo quitaran. ¡Mi pregunta sería ‘qué servicio’!

Visited here for the first time with friends last night, and we were not impressed. We all ordered the Fiorentina pizza, which should have come with a chisel, as it was so tough to cut. The service is dire, as once we had finished eating, it took nearly an hour for the staff to notice we had finished and wanted the bill, who then had the cheek to ask for a service charge. Will not be visiting here again.

I came here with a friend, we enjoyed the pizza, drinks and atmosphere. The food came out quick however we were the only ones in at the time. It would be a 5* however I don't agree with adding a tip onto the bill without request.

We chose this restaurant on High Street after seeing the menu, offering GF and vegetarian/vegan options. Very pleasant inside. Good food (Pizza, Sea Bass and Pasta). Very enjoyable!

We went here after having a bad experience at TGI Fridays down the road on Monday and it was the best decision we made that day, a lovely lady served us, I’ve been a few times over the years and every time all the staff have been friendly and attentive, this time we brought our little girl with us and the kids meal was amazing, she ate the lot and couldn’t even fit in a dessert, my daughter tipped over a drink and the lady was lovely about it, adults meal was delicious as well, the even have a little play area for the kids. sadly you can’t tip when paying by card so we left what change we had on us, will definitely be returning again!! Wildwood is the only restaurant I’d recommend in Lincoln 👌🏼 it never disappoints ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

La comida era muy buena, pero el servicio no tanto ... estábamos esperando mucho tiempo para nuestras bebidas, no conseguimos que nos revisaran la mesa, entonces después tengo que encontrar a alguien a quien pedir factura ...

I appreciated that it wasn't overly bright in here which is why I went in. Not artificially noisy with music etc where I was seated either (I'm both noise and sound sensitive so this makes a huge difference to me). I had the classic lasagne because I don't make this dish at home and it was delicious, really tasty and the cheese was perfect! Also noted the friendly staff who checked on me just often enough to make sure everything was okay but not be intrusive.

Excellent.... Had the Super Food Salad & to be honest a very large portion, I brought the rest home for tea, so amazing value or easily could share with 2 people. I had the Smoked Mackerel with it. Nice to find somewhere that caters for people calorie counting & wanting healthy food.

I had previously had 2 bad experiences with Wildwood so i was reluctant to try again, but it seems that the third time is the charm! We were a group of 7 and were sat immediately. The servers were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious.

Lovely food, had the zucchini fritti followed with the Caesar salad, really enjoyed it. Great idea with the kids play area too ! Get them from under your feet whilst waiting for food to come makes the experience even better ! Didn't realise they had a cinema either, will definitely be back to try that! Decent prices ! Thanks for a great meal

Más 10% de cargo por servicio que pedimos que se eliminaran ya que eran agresivos y nos sentimos apresurados. Cargo extra de queso que supongo que fue porque solo tenían una alternativa al tomar nuestro pedido. A escondidas. Experiencia decepcionante.

We Came here for a birthday meal last night. The food I and my daughter had was lovely and the staff were really polite and attentive. The only problem I had was the children's play area.. It was really dirty and there were no actual toys for the children to play with apart for some dirty,large stuffed animals, cars broken/with missing parts and a few building blocks. In the corner stood a toy kitchen but with no pots or pans or toy food to play with? Such a shame,it used to be great when it first opened and an absolute go to with small children.

Had an on the spur birthday meal here this evening and was impressed with everything. Food was delicious, service was polite and attentive. Price was good to. Will be back at some point. Well worth the try.

Second visit to a Wildwood and again was great. The pizzas are always good here and the service is very friendly.

I had the chicken buttermilk burger and fries with a salad. It was tasty, the chicken was well cooked. I had 2 strawberry daiquiris which went down really well. The Tiramisu was lovely. We turned up early but were shown to a table promptly. By the time we left it was getting quite busy.

The pizza and pasta are both pretty good and there is room for improvement. The steak is only served as a side dish without salad or special sauce. The lack of customers on Tuesday affects the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This is the third pasta restaurant I have tried in Lincoln. A plate of pasta costs an average of ￡15/￡16. In addition, this restaurant charges 10% plus 10% service charge. This is the first time I have encountered such a service charge in Lincoln. The first restaurant that costs more and more expensive. The food tastes delicious, and the penne noodles are also good. After paying the bill, scan the bar code on the order and do a survey, and you will have the opportunity to get a free starter or dessert for your next patronage.

Food was a little cold on arrival but was not anyone's fault. Driver got a little lost! Delicious food. Proper pizza dough. £80 for 4 of us, not too bad for takeaways nowadays. Thanks wildwood!

Terrible. Lasagna was bland and a tiny portion for £15 and in the little bit I got had next to no meat in it. Who salts sweet potato fries? Overpriced trash. Driver called me and said he was there and sat in his car when I answered the door on his phone so I shut the door and waited a while for him to knock. I'm not being funny but delivery doesn't mean come out in the rain and get it yourself does it?

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish! I appreciate it was Mother's Day Sunday, however, it was a very long wait just to get drinks and the bill at the end. The food is very mediocre and the atmosphere was like at the school canteen. Asked for a bill, and wanted 15 minutes for it, that was after we asked twice. I would not recommend it and not a chance of coming back.

We were visiting Lincoln for the day (3/3/2024) the weather wasn't great but we had a great time nevertheless. We stopped at WildWood to have lunch. We noticed that there was a small queue in the main entrance. As we get closer to the staff that gives you a seat table, we were told we had to wait 20 minutes so we decided to sit in the waiting area where sofas are provided. The couple behind us also waited where we sat. By the look of the restaurant, there were plenty available seats and tables so I thought why did we have to wait 20 mins. The couple seated next to us in the waiting area went to the staff and led them to be seated. I was flabbergasted why on earth would they give a table for the couple that stood behind us on the queue but we had to wait 20 mins. This is absolutely ridiculous customer service! We're glad we decided to go elsewhere.

Lead to table waited 25 minutes before getting up to go to bar to order drinks and complain . Staff standing around drinking and chatting instead of attending to paying customers . When we got up to leave the lady manager I assume she was laughed at the fact we waited so long before walking out . The management seriously need to have a word with her about her attitude and rudeness

A lovely day out in Lincoln so we popped in for a meal I ordered burger bun & chips £15 and had to pay an extra £2 for cheese My partner ordered caesar salad £15 & had to pay an extra £3 for chicken pieces in it otherwise it was lettuce half an egg cut up & two anchovies On paying we embarrassing asked if we wanted to pay a service charge of £3.01

Had the garlic prawn starter which was absolutely delicious. For main had the seafood linguine which was also lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was served in good time and piping hot. The menus is very varied with plenty of choice for everyone. Will definitely visit again

Went for the valentines 2 course deal. The pizza was so cute in a heart shape and delicious. I was so happy. The sharing dessert was amazing! Perfect portion due two and not too sickly. All in all I loved it

First time visiting here with my (picky eater) grandson. We had a wonderful time. My grandson took full advantage of the playroom whilst the food was being prepared. He had sausage & chips closely followed by chocolate ice-cream, I was so happy to see him chomp the lot. I had a steak & salad, it was delicious. My son had a rack of ribs, my DiL had lasagne - we couldn't fault it. I totally recommend coming here.

Wildwood is our favourite venue we have booked for business/community get together. Hiring both the screen and meals for thirty people, the Wildwood team was incredibly helpful and supportive, with both the food and space being of high quality. We already look forward to our next booking.

Service okay, starter okay but not good for the price. Ordered a Calzone pizza main and it was the worst calzone I've ever had anywhere. Supposed to be chicken chorizo, nice flavour but very very little of it. Others on table had steaks. Meat okay but small and very variable on cook, rare ,med rare etc. A few swapped thinking they were served wrongly. They thought over priced for a steak. We won't be going back. Far too many better places to eat. Very disappointing and expensive too!

Food was pretty good even if a little overpriced. No real atmosphere but the staff are great. Was a little disappointed that service charge was added. Maybe I am old school but that should discretionary.

Ordered rib eye steaks, cooked exactly as requested but quality of meat was poor. Also served on cold plates which is easy to get right!! Hot every time please!

Nice food, reasonable prices and good atmosphere. Service started good but got progressively worse, servers were so task focused that they weren’t noticing that we wanted or taking and that we had no food or drink in front of us.

We've been to Wildwood on numerous occasions over the years, and maybe it's just when we visit (usually mid week Lunchtimes), but I can never understand why it's so quiet! It's a lovely venue, the menu, although similar to other venues in the city, is good value for money. On this particular visit, we had the lasagne and the goat's cheese and pesto pasta - It's just good, honest food - no frills, no fluff, what you see is what you get and it's tasty.

We were a table of 10 celebrating 3 birthdays and needed somewhere that had an area for children to play so booked here. The food was absolutely fantastic , steaks cooked exactly as requested, pizza, pastas etc were superb and everyone was very impressed with the food they recieved. There wasn't much of an atmosphere as it was far from busy but that didn't really matter as there were a lot of us. We did however ask for the service charge to be removed from the bill as the service was shocking. The waitress was unfriendly and grumpy, we got the impression she didn't want to be there and couldnt be bothered. She plonked the plates down and made us feel uncomfortable. We were left with the plates on the table after everyone had finished for about half an hour and we repeatedly asked if we could see the desert menu. When I paid the bill and asked for the service charge to be removed I thought they might ask why but they didn't so perhaps they knew 🤔. Perhaps some staff training would help but maybe she was just having an off day. Compliments to the chef though as couldnt fault the food at all x
