Zizzi in Lincoln

Chose Zizzi for a Saturday evening out. We were impressed by the food -the lasagne did not disappoint as a classic Italian dish and my husband enjoyed the sea bass. Thanks to Will, for the excellent service.

Kerisha served us tonight, and we couldn’t have asked for a lovelier waitress! Efficient, friendly, and attentive. The food was amazing too and everything came quickly.

pasta was okay, small portions and expensive. If you would like exceptional pasta at a good price with large portions try PASTA GO. Only reason we ordered was because they were closed.

Seren was very helpful and her suggestions were very good after we chatted about my food preferences

The food was absolutely delicious and the service from mollie and mollie was outstanding such lovely girls. Will definitely come again.

Visited on a Saturday lunch time for a family Birthday, we were a party with children & adults. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but soon got busy. The staff were great but started to struggle as more people came in. There just wasn’t enough staff to cover such a busy lunch time! There were just 3 members of staff running around trying to run the bar, greet new customers, serve food, clear tables, it was all a bit chaotic! Our food arrived in a rushed way. The chefs were doing a good job preparing all the food but it was piling up waiting for it to be served. We waited ages for our plates to be cleared, We’d brought our own birthday cake & had to wait ages for it to be brought out. We had to ask for plates, we had to ask again for spoons for the children’s desserts. The staff just couldn’t cope! I think they did their best but our experience wasn’t great & we were glad to leave! You definitely need to look at getting more staff in at busy times & someone needs to be in charge of the running of the restaurant! Don’t think we will return.

After an awful experience at the Hull branch , we decided to go to zizzis tonight in lincoln as we've always had a fantastic experience here . Well this evening was elevated to a whole other level . From start to finish , our waitress Mollie was charming , knowledgeable , funny and made the whole experience a 10/10 ! The food was stunning and nothing was too much for Mollie ( even after putting up with my husbands numerous requests for parmesan cheese ) . Mollie said she has been with you for 6 months and i hope she is there for many more months to come as she is an amazing waitress and a great asset to your restaurant . Thank you for restoring our faith in what Zizzis should be !! We will be back !!

Mollie was most helpful and attentive with a lovely personality. Her demeanour alone was enough to make us want to come back.

Slow service, very little meat in the beef dish not up to the usual standard, disappointed.

The best service we have ever had at a restaurant - Kerisha was so attentive to my brother and I's allergies and really made us all feel welcome as well as having great knowledge about the best food choices. All of our food came out really quickly and the calamari and pizzas were particularly good. Altogether a great experience with the service being a clear highlight, we will definitely be returning - thank you!

Ate here today quite hot day. Was horrified by the size of the ice cubes they were not exactly 1" square. Came especially to see Shirley and Barry following their review but did not see them. Was delighted that i had more cheese on my pizza than Barry did. Did not take pictures of the staff who are all pleasant but did not offer me any parmesan. Not going to lidl for a pizza since there pizza is 1mm shorter than aldis pizza. Would we come again, if the price is more competitive and increase size of dough by a milimetre.

Thank you to Olly our lovely and very friendly waiter on Saturday evening (27th July 2024) a very courageous gentleman who you should be proud to have work for you. Additionally the chef made my grandsons night! He is just 4, and was thrilled to be involved with making his own pizza! How refreshing to see someone take time out of their work to show my grandson this and include him. Brilliant well done zizi ! 🤩

Best customer service in the world! The staff has an amazing vibe — super friendly, professional, and personable. I think everyone should try the chocolate melt dessert and their ice cream. Delicious! I mean it sincerely — this is the best place I've ever been to in Lincoln. I was served by Seren, Millie, and Mollie. You girls are stars! I even got a treat at the end, which was such a pleasant surprise. My husband and I are coming back for dinner next weekend. Their menu looks fantastic. I can't wait to return. Food was delicious and fresh! Had the pork belly and the chicken pasta with our free garlic bread for joining the rewards app! Hannah's service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and she was lovely, friendly and attentive!

As always, Zizzis was a brilliant experience. We were looked after by Will, and he made sure to cater to all of our odd requests with patience and kindness. Thank you for such an amazing experience and when we come back, I hope Will serves us again.

We had a lovely time! We sat outside and Will was very attentive and helpful. He brought hot water for the baby’s bottle which was great too. Great service, thanks Will!

Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Food was generally overpriced and under flavoured. Toilets were blocked.

I came around noon on a weekday and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the drinks light and refreshing, and the service was quick, while the waitstaff was extremely friendly.

The only good thing about our visit was the service, which was really good. Had a new carbonara meal which was not good!! Chewy pasta and not a great deal of flavour. It was also tepid in temperature.

they didn't have one of the items we ordered but instead of doing what most restaurants do which is just pretending they forgot to send it and telling us to go via just eat for a refund this restaurant called to apologise and asked what we would like instead and then sent that and an extra dessert as an apology. the food was lovely, nice size portions. we will be ordering again. We booked for 5:30 arrived 5:20 took 5 or more minutes to be seen too to get a seat. We sat for over 10 more minutes with no sight of being asked for a drink order etc, in this time we noticed a pigeon sat under the bench about 2 seats away. Not only unhygienic but also my partner is petrified of birds which is why we chose to book indoor. Very upsetting

I asked for my food all together then ended up coming 15-20 minutes apart the lasagna was enjoyable however me and my family all eat halal and we made sure we double checked for are dishes they they are halal turns out my cousins dish had wine in and they offered a replacement of mac and cheese which had chorizo!! Which my cousin had infact ate later finding out about the chorizo definitely won’t be coming back.

Server Will was an excellent. Could do with buying the chef a bell so he’s not shouting SERVICE every 2 minutes 😂

Will was fantastic, although the raspberry tiramisu was not even close to being a tiramisu, so that is why I had to take off one star from “Food”

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Zizzi Restaurant and I can only say that it was a wonderful experience. From the first moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff who immediately created a cozy atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding. From fresh and delicious pizzas to delicate desserts, each dish has been prepared with great attention to detail and exquisite taste. The service was simply excellent. The waiters were friendly, attentive and always ready to help and answer questions. Not only did they recommend great dishes, but they also made sure our dinner was smooth and enjoyable.

Food was excellent, really welcoming and friendly vibe. Molly was our server and she was engaging, helpful and really friendly.

Just had a lovely meal at Zizzi Lincoln. Despite only having two serving staff on, Will and Molly were absolutely lovely, attentive and helpful, apologising when there was no need. Both a credit to the restaurant, thank you both!!

Disappointed, hardly any bolangase sauce, such a small portion, didn't even fill the tub in came in, think child's portion would of been bigger, garlic bread was cold, hard and overdone in parts, food certainly wasn't worth the money.

I popped in a few days in a row and Seren was very helpful. She offered great service, with a smile, every time. Nothing was too much trouble. Consistently high customer service!! As for the food, my wife is gluten free and it's a stress free experience to eat out at Zizzi as you offer good options for GF 🙂

A decent idea poorly executed. We went for dinner for two of us already mostly knowing what we’d have. Not too busy and sat at a table quite quickly. However, we were told you can either order on the website or with a server, with a clear lean towards us using the website. We tried this but faced a lot of issues that had to be remedied by staff that didn’t seem to fully understand it themselves, when we gave up and wanted to go to classic service we tried to order a drink at the bar after asking about drinks available and was told that was not possible and to go back to the website. After eventually managing to order, the food was a little disappointing. The spaghetti portion was ridiculous, maybe one large scoop of pasta with a watery bland sauce. The wagyu meatball (not entirely sure how you can have wagyu in mince, which defeats the purpose of a beautiful marbled wagyu steak), was decent but the pasta was very underdone, this was a choice we discovered but without the usual server to explain to us we had no idea. If I’m using your app, struggling through it with nobody to ask about the food or drink, and then simply having it deposited on my table, it’s ridiculous to ask for a tip too. At that point just ring the bell and I’ll walk the 10ft to the pass and grab it off the chef myself, I might actually know what I’m getting that way!

Last time i visited zizzi was around 10years ago, after my visit today I remembered why I have never came back in years. Zizzi see you again in 15tears now.

Went here yesterday for my daughter 18th birthday meal. There was 20 of us in total. The staff were so friendly and helpful, food came out in good time and was so tasty. They catered for GF and the set menu price worked out good value for money. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Had a lovely dinner with my daughter here this afternoon. I can recommend a new dish; the Wagyu Meatball Arrabbiata & my daughter loved the Margarita Pizza & Garlic Bread. The staff were very friendly & efficient, even though they were very busy. 😊
