Zizzi in Lincoln

Shame really, I’m away for work and I’ve been here once before which was so lovely but this time round was shocking. Nearly walked out after sitting 20 minuets for someone to come and take my order considering it was pretty quiet and there was three of them stood around polishing cutlery and chatting, at one point one of the girls went to check on a nearby table yet I was still ignored. I was then met with attitude. Food came out quick and was nice but the start of the experience has really put me off. Did not feel welcome at all which wasn’t very nice especially when dinning alone, I’m glad this isn’t my local.

Food was delicious (especially the Sticky Pig Pizza) and it was lovely to sit outside in the glorious sunshine! Our waitress, Hannah, did a brilliant job despite being on her own and the service she provided was excellent!

Anya was such a good waitress! Went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect service and really helped our table as we had a child who was upset and Anya was so accommodating to her! The food was 10/10 as well such good value for money. Will definitely be visiting again.

The problem is that when ordering drinks you would expect them to have some sort of carton of juice pr a fruit juice because when children are tryna drink they shouldn't be having to drink out of glasses as my 1 yr old wanted juice received it in a glass even after asking if they had a fruit juice or a carton of juice. It caused my 1 yr old to have a massive tantrum bc she usually holds the drink herself but obviously couldn't as it was a glass. So overall I think they need to be a little bit for accommodating for children

The place was really nice and so was the food and we really liked it when one of the chefs let my brother and cousin let them make a pizza.

Popped in after work for an early dinner without a reservation. Was not disappointed. The welcome was warm, service from Anya was spot on! the and food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the chorizo carbonara and a salad and would absolutely recommend either. Couldn't have asked for a better visit!

I’m allergic to gluten and they catered incredibly to my allergy!! we had Anya as our server both times we came in here and she and all the other staff were so approachable and sweet, not to mention the food was the best gluten free food (including dessert!) i’ve ever eaten and the cocktails were to die for! Incredible music and such fast and kind service. Best place for date night 💛

Went in as was recommended by a friend was met by friendly waitress hannah who service was exceptional. We have the lunch time 3 set menu course wow just wow food was amazing. Whole experience was highly positive will be visiting again in near future

If only they could get smaller cups for their coffee they could over charge even more.

We went here today after another eatery failed to show any presence when we entered. Mollie was are server and she was brilliant, ordered our food and it arrived very promptly. Absolutely delicious and filling, best pizza we've had in a long while. Would definitely recommend this restaurant in Lincoln any time.

Millie and Grace were lovely servers and actually added to how much we enjoyed the experience- they explained the new dishes and ensured we were really well looked after. The food was fab and we loved all the new additions to the drinks menu too! We’ll be back x

Terrible experience, food took a while to arrive and was tepid, it was fairly quiet so they couldn't blame it being busy.. overpriced , the soda in my lime and soda was flat... I didn't complain at the time as it was my granddaughters birthday meal.. I won't return..

Came in for an evening dinner off the cuff and they Were able to accommodate our party of 4. We had the calamari starter to come out with our rustica pizzas which were delicious. It’s a shame they didn’t have any mayonnaise for our chips. Staff were friendly and brought us a jug of water for the table when we asked. Very busy with it being a sunny day so the atmosphere was very good also.

Had a really lovely birthday meal...Anya was excellent, very attentive and friendly

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were attentive and polite. The food is nice but it’s way too expensive for what you get when there aren’t any deals on. I left feeling still hungry. We visited on Saturday 15th and they had a good valentines deal on which was a 3 course meal for £27. For my starter I got a chicken spiedini - which is literally just one chicken skewer. It’s a decent starter but it isn’t worth £8.45 that’s just daylight robbery. I can go to Wetherspoons and get a full meal and a drink for that price! It’s also very contradicting on your menu as well. How is one single chicken skewer nearly £10 but I can get a garlic bread or a bowl of meatballs which is 10x more portion sized for £7.25/95p? It makes no sense. It needs to be two skewers for that price or It should only be about £4/5. it’s just greediness from the business. The main I got was the roasted mushroom risotto, which on the original menu was £14.95. The portion size was absolutely tiny. I’d finished it in 6-7 mouthfuls after receiving it after 5 minutes, whilst my partner was still eating his main for another 10 / 15 mins . It was literally the size of what a starter should be when you visit other restaurants. I couldn’t believe it, if I hadn’t of been on the set menu where the value was decent, I would have got up and left without paying for it the second I saw it. It tasted really nice but the portion sizing is honestly diabolical and shameful. Same with the honeycomb dessert - very tasty but again £7.45 for a 3-4 spoonful dessert is diabolical. Should be £5 at the very max. The drinks were the only thing I thought were worth the money. The business really needs to rethink their pricing because it’s so stupid and daylight robbery. The stars are for the staff because they were attentive and polite. The food was nice however we will probably never visit any other venues again due to pricing without the deals. The only reason this review does have the stars it has is because of the staff and the valentines deal was worth the quality and quantity. If the deal hadn’t been on the rating would be a lot lower due to how much it would have actually cost. I calculated it and if I hadn’t of had the deal everything I got would have been about £40 which was not worth it considering the portion sizes. Pure greed from the higher ups of the business and I bet the staff are only paid minimum wage! Shocking really.

Got food delivered, food was really nice, only thing was is that it was missing 2 cokes, they delivered one of them but that was in the bag with the hot food so had to be stuck in the freezer for a bit to cool down as it had warmed up. Other than that it was great

Our small group popped in for an evening meal at the start of January. We were served by Grace, she was polite and friendly, very professional and efficient. Our meal was lovely and we were all very pleased. We shall be returning!

Millie and Grace our servers were incredible. It was a special occasion and they put up decorations for us, no questions asked. They really made the occasion special. Food was amazing as always.

Superb! Absolutely superb! My partner and I went for our 11th anniversary and the food and service was exquisite, timely and with wonderful service. In particular waitress Lauren was absolutely on fire with her timings on the table. She did not miss a beat. Our food was just fantastic full of incredible flavours and even the branding, art and choices on the menu really gave character and experience to this wonderful restaurant. It means a great deal to a couple who visited on our first year together at Zizzi's. Thank you Zizzi's, the chef's and the star waitress Lauren for making our experience one worth remembering.

Always loved Zizzis But this latest experience put me off for life!! Service so so slow need 2 hours in here at least took hour and half to get a pizza!! Music so so loud was like a disco so couldn't hear yourself talk! Desserts are 6 pound each and was like pure ice icecream so icy and no effort at all. Wont ever be returning to Lincoln zizzi again!

Booked on the website for dinner for a party of 5 (two adults and 3 kids). Seated in a booth near the open kitchen. Lovely atmosphere and the lady who served us was lovely. Attentive and engaging (sorry I didn’t get her name). Food came in good time and was delicious. We had a combination of calzone, pasta, lasagne and no complaints. Caramelised onion garlic bread was a great side dish. Used Tesco Clubcard vouchers for some money off the bill, but thought the cost was reasonable.
