Stopping just outside Lincoln and did a search for a climbing wall for a couple of hours fun. Great atmosphere felt very friendly. You can hire equipment if you do not have yours with you, prices are very reasonable. If you have not climbed there before I would recommend filling out the registration forms online before going, just makes the paperwork quicker when you get there.

Its a good space with a cafe in the forest snd lots of function rooms

An excellent venue for business meetings.

Had an amazing time climbing with the LGBT group I was with, the instructor- Billy was perfect! He made us all feel safe on the wall and we had a great time.

As conference facility, the Showrooms appear a superb option in Lincoln. The location is easily found and accessible on the very edge of the city, with ample parking and services. The venue is clean and tidy, and generally well presented. It is a good size with adaptable spaces with good AV options. The café serves a good choice of drinks, with dairy alternatives, and a few cakes and snacks. All in all, a well appointed conference centre.

Lovely conference and event centre. Over the years have seen this place evolve and grow. Now complete with bar and stokes coffee a great spot for meetings, events, presentations as well as activities for team builds etc

Unfortunately this is a review of the bouldering space/room/cave/container, on my visit over-crowded and due to its limited size, virtually unusable. Dirty and unloved with routes poorly identified, the area must qualify as one of the worst around, this visiting solitary climber of age finding himself having to find problems in the midst of what appeared to be a late afternoon unfriendly, egoistic, non-inclusive student group. I tolerated 25 minutes and having had enough, left, never to return. If you plan to visit for the bouldering, don't, as you're better off doing some climbing on real rock at the nearby Roche Abbey or alternatively travelling to Sheffield and Awesome Walls.

It's a great gym, lovely people, not too expensive either. Only problem is the lack of bouldering area.

Absolutely superb espresso coffee served in the cafe, and lovely food too. Really friendly staff, I highly recommend the cafe here!

Clean, spacious venue with ample parking. I attended a conference where there was easily over 100 people. The catering was terrible though, our choices today were chicken and tarragon sandwiches, cheese and pickle (veg option) or egg mayo with added shell. Then small (50p) sized overcooked quiche and the same sized samosa. Plus a small fairy cake. I went hungry after hearing numerous complaints of how bad it all tasted. Dread to think how much was paid per head for it. Air conditioning also poor concentrating on only one area of the room and the rest was baking. I recommend taking a cardigan and some lunch to have a good day.

Went here to donate blood. Nice venue with plenty of bicycle racks outside to lock your bike up. Inside was spacious and well organised.

Very accessable as I'm in a wheelchair, facilities are very accessible and bar if need to but overall the facilities are very enabling.

The climbing centre is fantastic, and the intro course even better ! Very informative, incredibly friendly environment - I would recommend all around

Great place to experience climbing for the first time or take on a real challenge as a veteran. Ample parking, friendly helpful staff, great music playlist, equipment and shoe hire and a small bouldering room too. Fantastic place.

We hired a meeting room at the Showroom for an informal meeting - and truly could not be more pleased. The welcome was warm and friendly, the venue was amazingly presented and equipped, and the staff on duty went more than the "extra mile" to make sure everything was perfect. In summary then, an amazing venue (excellent parking facilities), kind and extremely helpful staff - just the perfect meeting venue! I would highly recommend the Showroom to anyone in business, or who just needs a relaxed, well equiped meeting venue.

My 10 year old came for a parkour holiday club and absolutely loved it and had since signed up for more workshops. The staff are brilliant with the kids and today they were challenged with a faulty fire alarm which they dealt with really well. Highly recommended!

I enjoy bringing my children every week, they love coming here. Some staff are extremely friendly, some staff seem to not be so. First week had a member of staff shout at the children for making noise before speaking to the parents. Another time they mentioned that they were not happy with us eating our food on the premises, bearing in mind that the children were in between workshops and needed to eat, there was nowhere local and they did not have the facilities to offer us proper good. Seemed odd to me.

I only went here to give blood, but the place looks very nice and well cared for. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is very large and plenty of room.

Awesome local climbing gym, really make the best out of what they have available. Fun and interesting route setting with some challenging problems. Lucky to have this place in Lincoln.

Gave blood. Hope they don't charge the NHS. Seems a good place and we'll laid out. Ample parking. Heard alot of good things pre lockdown, hope it comes out the otherside.

Great venue and brilliant staff!

Very dissapointed. The facilities of the bouldering room are inadequate, the holds have no set screws and aren't even fastened securely. During my time at the centre I personally could twist a large majority of the holds under the pressure of one hand. Due to this the climbing facility is of the poorest of standards, and this is a result of pure negligence as it is an easy and in expensive to make these changes. For your money I would not advise you to come to this centre. Your money for bouldering is much better spent on a better and safer facility like rock city or Louth Ascention climbing gym. After discussing the issues with the routsetters for the bouldering room they do not seem to be bothered by the possibility of danger and refuse it is an issue although I have raised this issue. Go somewhere else. Its not worth it.

Great place to spend an hr or two giving the kids some exercise. Children love the climbing and it's not too expensive. Great sunday afternoon treat for them.

Compact venue with good varied routes

It may well be a safe place for kids but disabled access is appalling! If you are going to keep. The main doors locked, MOVE THE THE DISABLED BAYS!! I'm sick and tired of not being able to get in when I park in a disabled bay. The disabled toilet door is on the wrong way round. 2 years on & the access hasn't improved there are 2 amazing disabled toilets but they are awkward to get to & behind fob access! Then there's the parking! I'm sorry but you can not park the YMCA's minibus in a disabled space if there no blue badge. I have mobility problems, I can not walk far. Hogging a disabled space when you don't need it is unacceptable!

I've been here for the climbing wall and it's great. There's a set of auto belay walls as well as manual belay top rope walls, which get the holds changed every now and then

As a regular at the showroom I have to say the food is excellent and never had a problem, I go for Breakfast with the veterans club and everything is no problem for the staff who could not be more friendly and the coffee is excellent. We had a Christmas meal and once again the food was superb.

Had a brilliant one hour climbing session with my two sons and husband with Matt the instructor! His telephone manner and instructing skills were extremely polite, welcoming humorous and inspiring. (even though he was the only one working on a quiet 29th of December, he welcomed everybody by name as they entered the centre) He is an asset to the YMCA and the climbing area. We will be booking again. Thank you Matt!

nice but my bike got stolen, it was double locked in the centre of the car park, no cameras are active there apparently
