Great food. Staff were accommodating, especially Gio, who seated 14 of us promptly by merging tables, was courteous, and listened to specific requests for our orders. Chicken Romana was especially tasty.

I ordered from this pizza express and my pizza was still raw, when I phoned up and said I’ve just ordered from youse and my Pizza is still wrong and the guy on the phone turned around and said “and” with a pause what do you want me to do about it? I was looking at the pizza, I was watching the pizza cook if you want it longer, then I can make another one for you, but it would have to be from just eat. It’s the way he replied and what do you want me to do for you rather than be apologetic, I’ll be like oh sorry this happened. Let’s see if we can sort this out for you.

This past Saturday, we dined at Pizza Express, and as always, it was a great experience. It’s one of our favorite spots, and every visit feels just as enjoyable as the last. We usually go for the classic Margherita pizza, and it never disappoints—simple, fresh, and full of flavor. As vegetarians, we also appreciate the variety of meat-free options on the menu, making it easy to find something we love. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was friendly, and everything came together for a lovely meal out. Pizza Express continues to be one of our go-to places, and we’ll definitely be back again soon!

Kush ( waiter) at Pizza Express, Barrett Street, was very efficient and helpful.

The pizza was luke warm at best. The waiter wouldn't accept he was wrong when the picture of the pizza showed un-melted goats cheese. He said it had melted on a cold pizza!! His manner was not ideal. Cold plates too. Unsatisfactory visit. Also that app is way to complicated for old people.

Kush has been very very helpful and the food service was fantastic and deserves recognition from Floreta

I recently dined at Pizza Express, and it was an overall satisfying experience. The location had a modern yet inviting vibe, with clean lines and plenty of natural light, making it a comfortable place for both casual and slightly more formal outings. The service was friendly, and the staff “kafayet ullah were knowledgeable about the menu, offering good recommendations. For starters, I tried the Garlic Bread with Mozzarella, which was warm, perfectly crispy on the edges, and loaded with gooey cheese. It was a great way to kick off the meal. As for the main, I opted for their classic Pollo ad Astra pizza. The thin crust was perfectly baked, and the combination of spicy chicken, peppers, and the subtle smokiness from the BBQ sauce made every bite flavorful. I did wish the pizza had a bit more of a kick, but it was still delicious overall. One of the highlights was their extensive drink menu, which offered some great Italian wines and unique cocktails. The Peach Bellini was refreshing and paired well with the meal. My only minor critique was that the pizza could have been a little hotter when it arrived at the table, and the wait time was a tad longer than expected, but nothing that detracted too much from the overall experience. For dessert, I went with the Chocolate Fudge Cake, and it was the perfect way to end the meal—rich, decadent, and the right balance of sweetness. I left satisfied and would definitely return for another pizza night, especially given the reliable quality and variety on the menu. Pizza Express delivers on consistent flavors and a pleasant dining experience, making it a solid choice for pizza lovers.

Straightforward but well done. Staff were attentive, Piero especially and food and drinks, as ever, were fine. Nice little respite from the tedium of Oxford Street.

We have been to many PE restaurants with the group I was with today and separately. While this restaurant may appear smaller this is by far my favourite. Food best I’ve eaten (always order the same so feel able to compare) and the staff were ALL on top form. Felt like VIPS. The standards of our waiter were even greater than ours (and I’m fussy+++) e.g. apologising for delay because they weren't happy with the cook of the pizza. PE staff are always average - good but the guy we had today was the best I’ve had serve us/me. I specifically asked his name to report his brilliance. So thank you Kafayet for making our ‘time to breathe’ amongst the busyness of London so easy to achieve.

Had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express! The food was delicious, but what made our visit truly stand out was our server, Pedro. He was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this location, and Pedro's service was top-notch! Looking forward to coming back!

Horrible food, unbelievably slow service and rude staff. Avoid this place Came here the other day as it’s a good kids friendly restaurant. Ordered our food, kids starter arrived. Another twenty minutes before adult main course arrives - before the kids. Kids dinner arrives late, and waiter never takes order for kids dessert. After waiting half an hour to order the dessert we ask the waiter if we can have the dessert and the bill straight away so we can leave as soon as possible (by this point we’ve already been there an hour and a half). Five minutes after dessert arrives the manager comes over and asks us to hurry up because they have bookings waiting. I was so shocked that he could be so oblivious to the terrible service and have the audacity to ask us (a three year old who’s only just gotten his plate) to hurry up. If you want a quicker turn around try running a more efficient service!!! Also our pasta was overcooked - literally blackened and burnt. Tasted absolutely horrible no flavour

We came as a family of four to Barrett Street Pizza Express and were seated quickly at a very busy time. We were looked after by Bilal throughout who was an excellent waiter. Could not be faulted.

The food was tasty and the pizza had great flavour. We had two waiters, Kush was very polite and had a lot of patience, which i very much appreciated because we are foreigners and aren't very fluent in English, and other guy, which seemed to be in a hurry all the time, which had us worried. Overall nice experience, but the -1 floor was very crowded and noisy.

Located in a very nice place, 8 of us entered Pizza Express and they immediately seated us, even though the restaurant was full, they only made us wait 5 minutes and then served us inside. The waiter who served us was called Babu and he was very kind and friendly from the first moment. We really enjoyed the calamari and the Florentine pizza was a pleasant discovery! Very friendly staff and very fast service! Definitely recommended!

We came for a walk in table for three on the 23/11 and were told it would be a 10-20 minute wait. When we went to wait outside the group of three who came barely a minute or two before us had been told it would be a 45 minute wait. The only difference between our two groups was the colour of our skin; our group was white and they weren’t. This is blatant racial discrimination and in 2024 is wholly unacceptable.

1).Near Empty restaurant but we had to wait 10mins for tables to be cleared. 2). Anchovy Bruschetta had 3 slivers of Anchovy & a find the Onions game-on-a-plate/Originale Bruschetta - no better. 3). Classic menu pizzas were good but starters were disappointing last time around

No check back until the end of the meal, no allergies asked, served beer on a hot glass and on top of that replies “ beer is cold “ when I’ve only asked for another glass. Staff all laughing and chilling by the kitchen Couldn’t get the attention of anyone and waited long for the bill despite the restaurant being nearly empty Pizza is great!

What a service! We were a group larger than the existing table layout allowed, but there were no issues pulling the tables together to accommodate us. Furthermore, some of us had specific dietary requirements, which were met to a T (gluten-free and diary-free pizza, anyone? No problem!). Our server was Pedro, who provided top quality customer service, professional, but with a smile, a jest and a gesture (he offered to take a photo of our party, which we gladly availed of). Thanks for a lovely afternoon, Pedro, we had a great time and the food was delicious.

Visit with a large work group and we had brilliant service. Very attentive. The food and drink was great as ever from Pizza Express. I tried the new pesto pizza which was amazing. The tables are really crammed in so it does make the place quite noisy.

We came for a last minute diner and we have been assisted by Pedro ! He was absolutely amazing, welcoming and nice ! Service was irreprochable even with Pedro running around to satisfy everyone ! Thanks again to him for a beautiful evening ! We will be coming back !

Oh Dios. Estuviste en la mayoría de los restaurantes de pizza express en Londres esto tiene que ser lo peor. No es de extrañar que todos los restaurantes de la zona están ocupados pero este. Comida de gambas chili. ¿Qué es esto? No puedo resolverlo £ 8. 95 para Lucas gambas calientes en aceite insípido con tomates fríos y cebollas en la parte superior. . vil. Las pizzas llegaron con muy pocos ingredientes. ¿Están haciendo recortes? Lo mejor fueron los refrescos y son un precio ridículo. Comida cara. No recomendaría y restaurante también huele a pedos.

Kush is a shift manager there NOT the general manager! He has zero customer service skills and does not care about customers so argumentative and rude no people skills what so ever!! I told him i was diabetic and he did not even care! The order came out 50 mins later and freezing cold. All the staff were giving different reasons! They took it back after us complaining and still no pizza it was beyond a joke. Kush said he owns the restaurant when pizza express does! He was so argumentative

Kush el "gerente de turno" NO el gerente general tome nota, ya que le dirá que es su restaurante cuando no lo es! No cálida bienvenida cuando entró explicó cáncer , paciente diabético que no cuidó o reconocimiento esperó 50 minutos para lasaña y leggare pizza y se le dijo que tarda 50 minutos en hacer que es incorrecto a hacen lasaña en la mañana y calentar. Soy un cliente de oro y se le trató como algo en el piso no disculpa nada. pizza tomó 1 . 5 horas la calle 1 después de 50 minutos estaba helado frío. Tiene cero modales, cero respeto, cero habilidades de servicio al cliente. Definitivamente no debería ser un gerente y no debería estar en un trabajo de personas, ya que no tiene las habilidades o la personalidad para tratar con los clientes, es discutidor y simplemente no le importa y luego amenaza por sus errores. ¡No vayas a esta sucursal con él ya que es una experiencia vil 3 veces más! ¡La amabilidad no cuesta nada! Diego un camarero que estaba cubriendo allí fue amable y se disculpó por el comportamiento de Kushs

Fab pizza, hated the pizza express in Stoke-on-Trent but here it was Great

Good for a quick lunch. Staff were friendly but just like the London Bridge branch, there were issues with putting through changes to the pizza base which should be fairly straight forward. Staff were reasonable to remove the additional pizza that was not ordered by us but again, a really annoying experience from another Pizza Express chain. Some pizzas come with a cutter and some didn't which was also frustrating. On the positive, prices are reasonable and we were able to take advantage of the £1 pizza promotion. Food is simple and tasty, restaurant is good for groups and takes reservations online, but won't be rushing back.

The food and atmosphere here is absolutely lovely and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Really recommend going here with a group of friends for amazing food and just a good experience.
