Bella Italia St Martin's Lane in City of London, Westminster

After 2 long hours looking for where to eat, poor us ended up in this devil's den. My friend ordered a calzone and they put an aberrant dough filled with a mixture of meats that would make a crocodile vomit. As soon as he took the first bite, he had to go urgently to the bathroom, not even all the bleach in the world will clean it. I tried a meatball from my friend's calzone because "How can a meatball be bad? That's IMPOSSIBLE" and the feeling was indescribable. As I put it in my mouth, refluxes ran through my body that made the food come out again from where it entered in a reflex act, before the astonished gaze of the waiter. The next time I want a meatball from this place I'll better eat detergent.

Lovely dinner tonight, served by Sujoy, he was attentive, gentle and fast. The food arrived in 10min and it was tasty and fresh :) They also accepted the Tesco voucher that we got. Recommended

We were served today by Sujoy and Mate, who were both lovely and friendly, and upon seating us and asking about allergies, Mate was very knowledgable and helpful with (what I’ve learned from many past experiences at restaurants) is a rather rare food allergy that staff don’t seem to be trained on, so before the food even came we were impressed by the team. As soon as the food came, Suboy was very attentive and friendly, and kept checking back to see if we needed anything or if he could help us, and mate was very swift at clearing our empty plates and bringing out mains over. Both mains and both starters were boiling hot and straight from the kitchen, which was lovely, too. We will definitely be back in the future, as your staff and the service they provided were impeccable. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

Service was good and the restaurant, food awful! £20 for spaghetti bolognese that was practically all spaghetti with a couple of tablespoons of meat mixed in. Garlic bread was wafer thin and hard, could snap it in half. First and last time at Bella Italia, for the price of a packet of spaghetti this was well overcharged.absolutely tasteless!

Been to a rant of Bella Italias and out of all the staff seen, Sujoy had the most energy and enthusiasm not just to serving us but also other tables too. My dish was the carbonara. Found it slightly bland and call it 'okay'

We order to go two times and everything was amazing. They were quick, flexible and very nice. There is a lot of variety and very tasty! Both times we were welcomed very nice but the second time Sujoy was the best! We were a little early to go fetch our food and while we wait we were offered water and he was checking on our food constantly! Sujoy was very kind and polite and great small talk while we wait! Had a lovely late night meal in Bella italia. Food was exquisite. I had carbonara and my partner had bolognese. Both tasted delicious. Our server Tereza was lovely. So helpful and friendly and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back here.

Teresa was lovely and we had a very nice meal. The restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday night, but atmosphere was great and food was nice and arrived promptly.
