Having read the reviews I just can't understand where the positives are coming from. I visited tonight with my partner, arriving around 6pm. We were quickly seated and given menus, but that's where the positives end. I was already surprised when I saw that a pint of Coca Cola was £4.50, but I ordered it regardless. I then saw the waitress at the bar pour a Coke and a Diet Coke from already open 2ltr bottles, meaning both drinks were totally flat. £4.50 for a pint of Coke out of a bottle opened the previous day is daylight robbery. We ordered food at the same time as drinks and after an hour and a half wait we walked out. Don't get me wrong, food was flying out the kitchen, all of which was for takeaway orders. What a terrible look for a restaurant leaving seated guests watching for over an hour as takeaway food flies out the door. Two other guests also questioned the wait and were told it's busy and food will be coming shortly. Interesting to see that their food arrived shortly after complaining. The restaurant is not busy, 6-7 tables is not a busy restaurant, but when you're more interested in fulfilling delivery orders I can see where the problems lie. Not once did one of the two waitresses apologise to me or anyone else for that matter, that only came when you questioned what on earth could be going on in that kitchen. Unfortunately I can't leave a review for the quality of food, but the service is absolutely appalling.

Our last night in Glasgow tonight: we've eaten American, Japanese, Italian, and independent cafes this week, saving Indian for tonight. This afternoon we discovered the Indian we were going to has closed so needed to find another. Oh my! That has to very some of the best food we've eaten, one of the best Indian meals we've had, AND the samosas just the best we've ever eaten! A quick mention for the lamb, so melt in the mouth along with chicken in tikka masala so very well cooked! Thank you! The restaurant surroundings have been very cleverly put together, the service the best (Matthew was just spot on with explaining the menu to us and waiting on, not one fault!) Service from start to finish was,....I'm running out of words....just the best! Thank you for finishing off our week in Glasgow so well!

We order from here most weeks as the food is so good. Couldn't find anywhere that matched this when we lived in Edinburgh. Fresh flavours, huge range of dishes, inexpensive and huge portions. The klfds love it too. Worth travelling to Peebles for.

Hi all went there today for a surprise wee lunch, and wasn't let down. Everything was just perfect, Many thanks for that guys. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact would anyone believe, who knows! So what to do is try it yourself and see if you agree.

A glorious open-plan dining area with glazed frontage set the atmosphere for what was to be a pleasurable and tasteful gastronomic evening. I was not familiar with Indian food. Iqbal suggested that he guide me. I am glad that I agreed as he produced a succession of first class palate-pleasing dishes. The sea bass was sublime partnered with a lovely bottle of Gavi wine. Iqbal remained attentive throughout. I whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant.

I am disabled which means I am almost completely blind and I also have some walking issues. However I am very independent and like to do things for myself. On the evening my husband and I visited the restaurant I went to the toilet by myself without any problem when I returned to the table one of the waiters came to our table and whispered in my ear as my husband was ordering some drinks “you madam may have one glass of wine with your dinner and no more, I’ve been watching you” we left straight away and I’m outraged and disgusted by this behaviour. Won’t ever return to this place. Very rud3 and ignorant
