We stumbled across this by accident and were totally delighted. The keema Pandora was delicious and the haggis pakora was very good, both huge portions. The staff lamb curry was one of the best I have had and my wife raved about the chicken tikka masala. Plenty leftovers to take home. The owner popped over for a chat and was a great guy. My only criticism is that at 7:30 the kitchen seemed to be concentrating on take aways but we will definitely be back and use it for deliveries.

We eat in this restaurant often and it doesn't let us down, food is so fresh and delicious. We had a nice surprise tonight our favourite waiter is back. He is so knowledgeable with the menu I think his name is Jamie he is an absolute star.

The lunch menu had a good variety of options not just restricted to 2 or 3 choices like some set price lunch menus and was reasonably priced. I chose vegetable pakora which was hot, light and crisp, very tasty and my chicken Jalandhar was delicious, just the right amount of spices. The naan bread was perfect. Jamie our waiter was very friendly and efficient too, nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a very pleasant experience and look forward to returning soon.

We live in the United States and have waited 4.5 years to get back to Scotland and have a good Indian meal. Regent Brasserie did not disappoint. It was amazing. Not to mention the owner went out his wat to make a mango lassi (he didnt even have mangos when i asked but came through ...so work that one out). All in all an experience appreciated and worth wiating for. Highly recommended.

Ordered takeaway Chicken Tikka and Lamb Tikka Starter. Charged £7.50 for Starter as the price of Lamb had gone up due to the weakness of the Pound, says Meeki. £5.75 on Takeaway menu. Chicken Tikka was ok, the £7.50 Lamb Starter was tough even although Meeki said i would not be disappointed as it would be very juicy. Arrived home to find there was no salad with the Lamb Starter. Gave him a phone and told he would look one out for me. I said just FORGET IT. Back to my usual Indian Restaurant.

Gave the brasserie another chance after many years. I’m afraid it has not improved. Ordered home delivery. Rice and pakora were ok but main course of Chicken breast Jaipuri Had hard leg meat mixed with scrappy bits of breast meat and was dry and lacking sauce. Chicken poori used to be excellent. Now very bland and lacking the sweetness of old. Altogether a disappointment. Come on Meeki, your home delivery needs to uphold the quality. I’ll be sticking to the Rasoi in Lenzie as the quality is far superior.

The Regent Brasserie were amazing when it came to helping me organising my mum’s 60th birthday last month. From booking a date that was appropriate for over 20 people 3 weeks in advance to providing absolutely impeccable service to people who have dietary and allergy requirements - everything was perfect. There was a particular young member of staff who was exceedingly helpful and went above and beyond to help us at every possible juncture. Thank you :)

Fantastic place, the meals we had were the best I have had in a long time,,the service was quick and all the food came hot and on hot plates. The staff were brilliant and efficient and a credit to the restaurant

The food was amazing -- some of the best Indian food I've ever had - and was brilliantly served by the knowledgable and interesting Jamie. He did a fabulous job, his recommendations were spot on and even spoke a little slower for this American trying hard to understand the accent :-). We even had a chance to chat about the history of the restaurant, his family history and his interesting great-grandfather. Be sure to check out the display case with artifacts that are best served with a full explanation. Can't go wrong! Cheers Jamie!

We have never had a bad experience coming here! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always take the time out accommodate any dietary preferences/allergies. The restaurant is always spotless, cosy and atmospheric. This is the perfect place for a family meal, a date or even just a place for a catchup with friends. The curries are always spot on and full of flavour. We never have to wait too long for our food to be served and its our favourite place to go for a nice relaxing evening. Would definitely recommend!
