The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Went for a men's curry night with 27 others from our church. Good food and a good time was had by all. Lots of choice available on the set menus. Will definitely be going back.

The worst curry I have ever tasted...I feel sorry for you southerners subjected to this overpriced tasteless crap...the chef should be ashamed of himself pretending to be able to cook...avoid at all costs or end up in a and e with poisoning...you won't get poisoned from the lamb as there was only 3 pieces in my curry.....just for the doubters I travel all over the UK and taste currys from everywhere and when I say this is the worst believe me I'm not wrong....

A little disappointed don’t get me wrong the food was nice but it was cold on arrival and the rice was watery at the bottom

We have loved this place ever since we lived in sharlston not only is the food great but the staff are better. We have moved to pontefract but will still drive over to just have their food can't recommend them enough brilliant people brilliant food 😀 👍

Best place for tasty food in London... let alone Honour Oak Park yum!

Went and picked up a takeaway which was ordered for 7pm, didn't walk out of there until 7.50! Left waiting for food for nearly an hour, barely an apology and when I requested to speak with management, no one called me as they had promised. Food was average at best (one dish was a chefs special) - hardly worth the wait and several items were cold such onion bhaji and rice. Won't be returning.

Noisy and crowded, several of my friends had upset stomach after. Called the restaurant but owner wanted nothing to do with it. Disgusting.

Fantastic evening at the Indian Masala. A great selection of starters and mains including their own speciality dishes. We were spoilt for choice. All food cooked to order and it was so delicious. Five star service. Thank you to all of the team. Our next visit is already booked so see you soon .

Terrible food. Have family that live in Shirley. When we visit we always stop off here and get the kids a curry. They always look forward to it. Decided we would eat in while they made the take away. Onion barge and chicken pakora starter. Both. not the best. Batter was soft and not crispy. Tandoori fish with salad main. Salad looked old and one of those ones out of a bag. Fish was no way tandoori as didn’t have the colour. Not good had a few mouthfuls and left the rest. King prawn rogan Josh. Not one king prawn in it! Complained to waiter. He said they cut up the king prawns! We said that’s so you don’t have to put so many in the dish. We ordered king prawn and paid for king prawn, so would expect whole king prawns. The bits of prawn that were in the sauce were tough and not nice. Left it as couldn’t eat it. Very poor quality food. They halved to price of the king prawn dish on the bill. We paid over £100 with the takeaway as well. Won’t ever eat there again and grandchildren will be having a takeaway from another Shirley curry place. They should be ashamed of the food they are letting their drunk again chef( waiters words,not mine)send out of the kitchen.

Very cozy restaurant, located on the high street with east parking outside. The place is kept very clean and tidy… even the toilets were very clean. They have lots to choose from in their menu, and even offer to tweak the menu to suit your preference. Your satisfaction as a customer means a lot too them… they will not be satisfied if the customer is not satisfied! The food was absolutely amazing, and the way they stayed on top of things to make sure you get the best possible service. From the greeting, right down to the goodbye, it was a pleasant visit!
