The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Ordered via the web page. It came within the hour and the man delivering was absolutely delightful. Really lovely and friendly. Talked to me about my car. I wanted to invite him in!! When we unpacked the meal we realised the rice was missing so I called them. They apologised and came back inside ten minutes with the rice and a bottle of beer! Just can’t fault them for their customer service and friendliness. The food was quite delicious as well. Will definitely be ordering again.

First time tried, Authentic Nepalese food, fresh ingredients and unique flavour, really enjoyed the take away meal, definitely visit again, Strongly recommend this place to try.

Went here on Saturday night …food is great the service was dreadful…I think they were understaffed or maybe too busy, went with family for first time so really disappointed

I was at 3 Three's Coffee Lounge a few days ago (I go there a lot) with a friend and we were the last customers to leave as they were closing up. I left my purse (my bad) which I had down the side of me on the sofa the whole time and didn't realise I hadn't put it back in my bag until my bank called me to say there had been 4 suspect withdrawals on my card, up to a £100 within the hour after me leaving. So a staff member at this cafe, after serving me with a smile, stole my purse and attempted to spend my money. I had cards in it with my name and number on! So if you do go in there, be extra vigilant with your valuables. When I posted this on my facebook page another friend said she'd been hearing a lot of negative things about this cafe, I'm now not surprised. I have given them to chance to respond and heard nothing. I will not be going there again.

Lively place, good food served very quickly, interesting menu with new/different dishes, friendly staff. Byob policy is great.

I have tried many curry’s from Bilash and never been dissatisfied, great service as always. Delivery always prompt and the food is full of flavour!

This restaurant is the best by far for miles around. I have been coming here for some years, and the quality of the food has never changed from being excellent. Likewise for the hospitality of the staff. It is excellent value for money and a chance to eat here should not be missed.

Our first visit and we will definitely go back. We went for my husband’s birthday. He decided that rather than a curry, he wanted a variety of starters. Absolutely no problem. The food was gorgeous and we both agreed it was the best Indian food we’d eaten for a long time. We ordered eight different dishes, poppadoms, pickles, chapattis and four pints of Lal Toofan. The bill came to £64 ( we expected it to be more!) The portions of curry going to other tables were enormous and looked delicious. We didn’t think we would have to book at 5.30 pm on a Thursday night but will do next time as they were busy and expecting a couple of big parties. Luckily they found us a table. A big thank you to the staff. They were all very friendly and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. I would give it more stars if I could.

Impressive service, delicious food and upbeat atmosphere. Very reasonably priced; we had drinks, starters, mains and pudding for under £30 a head.

The Raj Poot is always welcoming. Lovely food and great choice. Nice extras such as a baileys to end the meal. Great atmosphere

Not only is the food delicious but the staff are friendly and kind! I got the chicken wrap and it was fresh, tasty and flavourful. The staff were very nice and even held up a paper for me to use as a background when he noticed I was taking a picture of my food. Thank you!!

Buena comida. Originalmente teníamos la intención de comer como lo hicimos hace un par de meses, pero pensamos que habíamos dejado demasiado tarde para reservar así que ordenó una comida para llevar. Should have known this wasn't going to be a good experience when we booked. Booked for 9.30 but asked to be earlier as they closed at 10.30am. Strange as it's advertised 11am. Arrived at 9.10 . Ordered and the food arrived. Dry, tasteless and king prawn masala sauce was sickly. Afterwards waiter wiped the table down while we sat there. Another came to take payment but was interrupted by the manager about something else. Everyone who left had the door held open but not us. I booked after reading reviews never again for us. I been to many Indian restaurants across the country and the is the worst one by far. Never again.
