had our first takeaway here a few days ago food quality amazing price very happy with staff very friendly will be using you as our regular takeaway from now on guys

This restaurant are robbing criminals I accidentally ordered online thinking this was my local Voujon all the way down in bury St Edmunds Suffolk on 20th July 2020 phoned them as soon as possible as soon as I realised and they informed me that would have to get my refund datman ltd who preceded the card payments after various phone calls And weeks of putting me off and sending me back and forth to each other Datman informed me they will not give me my money back because I took a little longer than 10 minutes to phone them Grrrrr This world is full of money grabbers, my bill was only £32.02 and they won’t even give that back to me disgusting attitude and I hope the place go down the pan

Ordered takeaway from this restaurant, I haven’t been here before either for a sit down meal or takeaway. I will be back, the food was delicious, hot and delivered promptly. Really pleased to have found a decent Indian takeaway close by.

We went tonight for my husbands birthday meal. The welcome we got was so warm & friendly. We booked online. Requested a quiet table. We got what we requested. Quick service. Lots of smiles and politeness. We got combo platter starter. My husband always gets chicken tikka starter. He said the chicken was perfect. Not over cooked. The whole starter was just perfect. Nicely presented. Not just thrown onto the plate . Our main was mixed grill. The waitress dished the meat off a hot platter onto our plates for us. Which usually they just put it to yr side. The smell was lush ! So hot, fresh and good quality meat. Plenty of it too. The rice was served in a scoop shape. Not just stuck in a bowl. The main was just amazing! We were so impressed. We both love our currys. And we've been to many Indian Restaurants all over. I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant weve ever been to. The prices are good. My son recommended we came here. He has been a few times with his friends. And we wouldn't go anywhere else now. Waiter shook my husbands hand as we left. We felt our custom was appreciated. U wont regret going there for a meal. They also do takeaways too. We always get discount offers sent to us for takeaway service. As we live local to there. Dont know why we never went there sooner.

Saw positive reviews on trip advisor and decided to try Voujon...We ordered a takeaway using Justeat, the food was 15 mins late although this didn’t bother us particularly, we hadn’t even noticed until just before it arrived and the driver apologised on arrival. The first thing I noticed was that some of the food was piping hot and some of it was just tepid. I ordered mixed starters and a Voujon Special, my wife ordered a vegetarian meal for one which comes with onion bhajis, a veg bhuna, rice, naan and popadoms. My starters were cold, it was a mixture of tandoori meat, samosa and a bhaji. The bhaji was dry and cold, the samosa was ok but lacked much flavour and the meat was ok. The Voujon special was watery and lacked flavour, there was plenty of meat which was nice however the sauce was really plain which really let it down. My wife’s curry was clearly just pre packed frozen veg in a watery sauce with no flavour. Considering there’s no meat in it I think it’s really poor to use crap frozen veg! Most veg curries that we’ve had from other places include potatoes, cauliflower, mushrooms etc but this was peas, sweet corn, carrots and green beans. The veg was mushy and over-boiled. I’ve had better sauces out of a jar from the supermarket. The naan bread was soggy and cold. Overall quite disappointed and won’t be ordering food again from them.

Have had several take away meals from Voujon, including tonight- always same great quality and never disappoints- highly recommended. 🙂

This was my second visit to this restaurant, this time I took my brother for his birthday. The food and service were first class everything we ordered was perfect. I think we'll be regular visitors in the future, even though it isn't that local for us.

I have been coming to this Restaurant since the day it opened, The food is Delicious , They cook it to your taste and perfection , The staff are so very welcoming and polite in every way , I would highly recommend this restaurant and Takeaway ,, If its your first time , give it a try as you will definitely come back again as its the best. Never eaten in the restaurant, but had take away several times, including tonight. Top quality food, always excellent, can't fault it at all, same great standard each and every time. Staff always friendly and welcoming when you go in to pick food up. Excellent!!

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night as a group of 8.All the food was fresh, hot and tasty and served promptly.The naan breads in particular were gorgeous! I’d definitely recommend this place for an Indian and may start using it as my take away in place of my usual.The staff were really friendly and helpful too and the toilets were spotless. It’s also BYOB which always makes it cheaper!

We have been once to dine in and once for a takeaway in a space of 4 weeks , great service and the Dall is amazing

It's a very small restaurant, we hadn't booked but they found us a table. it got a bit noisy but, I put that down mainly to the ignorance of others, after a drink they think everybody should hear their conversation. It was annoying but not enough to put us off enjoying our evening. The staff were very friendly and the service was second to non. We eat Indian food quite often and locally it is all pretty average, here the food was excellent, you could taste the flavours and the portions were good. Very nice baaji's, the peshwari naan was really good and the coffee was hot, a bugbear of ours... we don't like lukewarm drinks. Overall it was a really good experience and we will definitely visit again soon.

Having read the reviews we thought we would give it a try and ordered 3 meals for takeaway, service was good but meals lacked flavour and lamb was tough won’t be going back. Don’t know how they got all the good reviews as we thought it was possibly the worst Indian we have had £25 down the drain

Visited Voujon with friends after having favourable reports from other friends, my word we were not disappointed. I chose the Sea Bass, it was fantastic, the way it was cooked and spiced, my friend had a fish bhuna which was as tasty as the Sea Bass.

We visited this restaurant whilst visiting friends in the area and we are so glad we went.

We visited Voujon a couple of weeks ago as we only live up the road and had heard good things about it. On our arrival , we were greeted by the waiter who showed us to our table and gave us some menus. Shortly after, a lovely lady introduced herself and told us she was the Manager and the chefs wife. She was very friendly and warming, asked what our names were and if we needed anything to just ask. There was no rush to take our order which we liked as we wanted to take our time and the staff respected that. When we ordered, the lady went through the dishes and when my partner asked if he could have a keema bhuna (which wasn’t on the menu) she said that was completely fine. The food arrived and it was delicious ! We couldn’t fault it at all. So tasty with lots of flavour. A big bonus was take your own alcohol which saves you a lot of money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and definitely be coming back !

It’s the 4th time we have visited this restaurant and each time we have been very impressed. The staff are very attentive and very friendly.

I have been back to Voujon a few times for both eat in, and takeaway meals and I have been delighted with my experiences every time. The service is very welcoming, accommodating and friendly and the food is cooked to the spice level you would prefer which the chefs will alter upon request. I would say this is the best indian food I have ever had and would definitely recommend to anyone.

We ordered takeaway on a Saturday night, after being told it would 30 minutes (which was fine), I arrived to collect the food and told it would be another 15 minutes. When we got the food home, we were a bit disappointed in the lamb balti as the meat was very sinewy. The chicken tikka masala was ok, but we won't be rushing back.

I have visited Voujon on several occasions and regularly order from the take away menu. We have never been disappointed, the food is fantastic and the staff are always very welcoming, helpful and attentive. On Saturday it was a friends special birthday and I booked a table for 8, telling the staff that it was for a special occasion. We arrived a little before the birthday girl to put up some balloons and to our delight found that the restaurant had already put up banners and balloons, this was an extra special touch, unexpected but greatly appreciated. We had a lovely night and as usual the food was fantastic, delivered without a long wait even though we were in a large party. Being able to take your own drinks is an added bonus. Thankyou to the staff and owners of Voujon, we will definitely be visiting again.

Visited here tonight with our work curry club. One of our favourites so far. Food was excellent and so was the service. Will be returning.

First time here tonight. Ordered a takeaway King Prawn Balti and Chicken Jalfrezi. Food was absolutely delicious really high quality ingredients and flavour. Best Indian we've had in a very long time. Would definately highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY gorgeous food. Can't wait to go again, Little bebington diamond. Taking your own drinks also a bonus

This restaurant was recommended to us by my sister. We usually go to Wirral Tandoori but decided to give Voujon a try and we were not disappointed at all. What a lovely restaurant.

My family and I have been now for the last two Saturdays. I wouldn’t go elsewhere now for a curry.

Visited to celebrate our anniversary. This restaurant has a lovely relaxed feel and the staff are very helpful. Our meals was just as delicious as our last visit, definitely worth a visit, look forward to returning soon

This was our first take away from Voujon. We havent found a good one nearby yet! Food came hot abd freshly cooked, it was tasty authentic and not greasy! I had the chicken shashlik which was lovely. We will definately being ordering again and maybe a trip to the restaurant too!

We visited last night and had a gorgeous meal, the combo platter is my very favourite and my husband loves the lamb chops. Not only was the food outstanding but the service is what I can only describe as more than. I am shocked to read the previous review which absolutely must be a misunderstanding on the part of the customer as I'm not sure you would find more friendly and accommodating hosts. Beware though last night was absolutely bursting at the seams, testament no doubt to the terrific food and service. Keep up the great work Voujon.

Ordered a take away on a Saturday evening, easy to order online, it was very busy due to England match but food delivered well within the time frame given. Fresh ingredients very well cooked and tasted delicious. Ordered for 3 people but could easily of fed 4/5, with the generous portions. Very competitive prices. Will definitely use again. Maybe next time will book for the restaurant. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Our first time here and highly recommended. Loved the food and service. The lady at front of house is absolutely lovely. She is very beautiful and has perfect personality for the role. Food is fresh, tasty and well priced. Fantastic curry, famtastic rice, fantastic bread, fantastic hospitality. I highly recommend everyone to visit. We will be back for sure.

Saturday night - table for two.

Tried this place recently and was very pleasantly surprised. A small restaurant/takeaway, spotlessly clean with friendly staff , excellent food and reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We visited on a Sunday evening just as the restaurant was opening. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We started with onion bhajis and samosa which were delicious. The curries were excellent and there was plenty of it. We will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Had a lovely evening with friends enjoyed the great atmosphere of the restaurant the staff are very attentive and patient (talking too much to look at the menu) the food was well presented and tasty had some mixed starters and some balti Koran and Biryani. You can bring your own alcohol this makes it great value for money. Will be returning. Good takeaway menu available.

Our 4 th visit to the Voujon we are lucky that it is in walking distance from our house a nice stroll back home after a lovely meal served by very friendly and attentive staff.Would definitely recommend this restaurant food is excellent clean and friendly atmosphere and it's spotlessly clean.

This was our first visit to Voujon and won’t be our last went on the recommendation of a friend we took our own wine and beer the food was well presented and very tasty we were greeted by the owners wife who was really friendly and attentive and couldn’t of been more helpful it’s nice to have another place to have a decent meal give it a go you won’t be disappointed

Visited the restaurant on a Friday night, it is a small restaurant and felt very welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive and the manager visited all the tables to introduce herself and say a little about the restaurant which was really nice and highlighted the care that goes into this family business. The menu had a good range of dishes, including some more unusual chef specials. We both went for these so can't compare directly to other restaurants but found both of the dishes incredibly tasty, the ingredients worked well to produce a great flavour and it avoided the stodginess I find at some Indian restaurants. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol which makes for a cheap evening (there is a cooperative a few doors down as well so it's easy to buy some drinks nearby) but even without this it was very reasonably priced and we were very pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. Overall a very nice restaurant we will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend.

The Voujon is a recently opened restaurant that has grown out of the Imran Balti takeaway. I've just had a New Year's Eve dinner there and can report that both the food and the service are excellent. Ambience is a little lacking due to the plain white walls, but talking to the owners I understand that this will be addressed before too long - the business is very much a work in progress, but well worth a visit.

I have eagerly waited the opening of this restaurant as we have been struggling for a good Indian restaurant nearby.
