3 Three's Coffee Lounge in Birmingham

I was at 3 Three's Coffee Lounge a few days ago (I go there a lot) with a friend and we were the last customers to leave as they were closing up. I left my purse (my bad) which I had down the side of me on the sofa the whole time and didn't realise I hadn't put it back in my bag until my bank called me to say there had been 4 suspect withdrawals on my card, up to a £100 within the hour after me leaving. So a staff member at this cafe, after serving me with a smile, stole my purse and attempted to spend my money. I had cards in it with my name and number on! So if you do go in there, be extra vigilant with your valuables. When I posted this on my facebook page another friend said she'd been hearing a lot of negative things about this cafe, I'm now not surprised. I have given them to chance to respond and heard nothing. I will not be going there again.

Out for a stroll and came across Three's Coffee Lounge... A very cosy and warm ambiance with gorgeous interiors. Absolutely delicious food... all made bybhand, freshly on site. The owner of the cafe was very attentive, polite and friendly. Will definitely make Three's Coffee Lounge a regular stop 😊

I had heard of 3 threes from my daughter but hadn’t got round to visiting. Last week my daughter contacted me in a panic it was her partners 21st the following day and with it being a few days after Christmas, the not knowing whether we’d be in another lockdown and trying to arrange other things for the birthday she hadn’t got round to arranging a birthday cake. With them being vegan it limited the availability of finding a special birthday cake at such short notice. We were in Birmingham at the time and just on the off chance went into the shop in the centre, I noticed they had some lovely cakes but only in slices so I asked if they had a whole cake available, well to cut the long story short I was only talking to the cake maker himself and when I explained my predicament he offered to make a cake and decorate it to our requirements this was at 2pm and by 5:30pm my daughter was able to pick the cake up, it was more than enough for the 8 people and leftovers for the next couple of days, it looked beautiful and tasted lovely. The cake maker and everyone in the shop went above and beyond to accommodate us, I would highly recommend and will be visiting again the next time I’m in the area.

Never had vegan food before but came here with my son, I had a stacked hot dog and my son had nachos. The food was tasty and served in a timely manner. We had hot drinks all reasonably priced. Lovely decor and clean throughout. I would come again.

We came here when visiting Birmingham for an overnight stay. We had a teapot (free refils) and a bagel each. Both bagels were great and they had a great range of sandwiches for lunch and I wished I'd been staying longer so I could try them. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Bormongham.

I always try and find an excuse to come to 3 threes when I'm in town :) it's so nice being able to have pretty much anything in store and it still be safe for vegans, even ice cream and lots and lots of bakery products! And there's always bars of vego on the counter if I want to take some home. Standard of the food is really high. The main (and probably only) thing I dislike is I often order hot chocolate but it often isn't quite steamed hot enough. It is more expensive than a "normal" coffee shop but a) it's not a chain and b) they make a lot of products themselves. I'm happy to pay a little extra for the convenience of not having to bake my own vegan treats for once :)

We were thrilled to find an all-vegan coffee shop. We did find that it was quite pricey and the service was unbelievably disengaged. The woman at the till was on her phone the whole time and was busy on it before microwaving our sandwiches and making our drinks. It made us feel like even though there were few customers while we were there, our custom didn't matter at all. So unfortunately we wouldn't go back despite our initial excitement. Also, it was cash-only, which is crazy in covid times.

Picked up a few treats from here to complement my lunch one day and was pleased that I did. As someone with a mild lactose intolerance, it's always exciting to try new vegan things and this place did not disappoint.

We discovered this cafe through Chance & Counters in Digbeth, as they stock their cakes. I loved them so much that I went to the actual cafe and wasn't disappointed! The atmosphere was quaint and cute and they had a good variety of cold and hot food and drinks. As someone who isn't vegan (my partner is) i have to say, the food was great. I tried one of the hotdogs which was good, didn't change my life but it was tasty. I also had the red velvet cake, which was INCREDIBLE - i absolutely 100& rate the cakes from here!! Also had an oat milk hot chocolate which was very frothy and hit the spot. The only slight downside was the service - we unfortunately came at a busy time. They seemed quite stressed and rushed us a little, but they weren't rude.

Visited today to pick up some cakes for my partner. The cakes and brownies are wonderful - really great vegan treats - but unfortunately I can’t shout about the service in a positive manner, which is a shame. Two women working who I had to ask for help and their responses were blunt and rude, which was disappointing and not what I’d expect from people working customer service. Would return for the treats though!

This cafe is a little bit off the main beaten path in the city centre, but is 100% worth finding, if you are vegan/vegetarian/flexitarian. Amazing range of sandwiches, toasties, cakes, and so many different coffee options. A couple of GF options available too, if required.

Decided to try this place out as my sister is a vegetarian and absolutely loves it! I wasn't very adventurous, sticking to a 'chicken' and mayo sandwich which was tasty and also a chocolate brownie. Very tasty, great for a coffee and a catch up.
