The best restaurants serving Indian food in South West

We had an amazing experience at Imperial Spice. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Lamb Biryani, Dhaal, Saag Paneer, Mushroom Rice, onion bhaaji, chicken tikka, and the service was top-notch! Wonderful all round 👏

Another delicious meal at The Pavillion. We usually dine-in as we like to make an occasion of eating such delicious food. I particularly appreciate the table linen, it makes the whole dining experience so special. Last evening we ordered Chicken Tikka, Vegetale Curry, Plain Boiled Rice, Jeera Gost, Pilau Rice, Garlic and Corriander Naan and Popodoms with dips to start, all freshly cooked and couteously served. We have been dining at The Pavillion since it opened in this location after moving from above The Old Neighbourhood Inn. Relatives of ours who have travelled the world and lived and worked in many eastern countries say it is one of the best places for a curry that they have experienced. Brimscombe, Stroud is so fortunate to have such a good Indian Restaurant and Takeaway.

Food was amazing, Staff were friendly and hard working. Good atmosphere, clean premises. Definitely go again.

This is by far the worst Indian Meal I have ever had ! AND NOT CHEAP ! I ordered a takeaway meal consisting of Naan Bread, Chicken Shashlik, Chicken Madras, Rice and Sag Paneer + Onion Bahji. All dishes without exception were awful, too salty, un- spicy little chicken in the Madras, in the case of the Shashlik burnt ! Naan bread was like rubber and was thrown in the bin along with the over cooked inedible Bahji's, the Paneer was watery and tasteless with more Sag than Paneer. Two years ago we ordered our Christmas dinner from here and the food was delicious, and have been back several times. Although not as brilliant it was at least edible ! I understand there has been a recent change of " Ownership " ? The interior seemed run down and unkempt, dirty mirror and glasses behind the counter and dirty carpets. This place has certainly gone downhill very quickly, I will not be visiting again !!

We have just come back from a meal and it was amazing it was all cooked from fresh and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and I would highly recommend them to anyone

If I could give it six, I would. Superb food; I had chicken tikka biryani and it was a delight. Full of flavour and the rice was perfectly cooked. My wife had king prawn korma and loved it. We shared sag aloo and loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a delightful experience.

We had a take away curry for the third time from here on New Year’s Day night . We were out in town with friends and rang and ordered to pick up . My friend wanted something which was not on the menu and they rang back to confirm with her exactly what she wanted . The food was delicious and the portions really good . This was our third time getting a take away from here , we normally visit Brixham a couple of times a year & will be ordering again next time we come , we have had deliveries the other times which have also been quick and delivered by friendly drivers . It was our friends first curry from here and they wii also definitely order when they are in Brixham again . We also asked a member of staff in one of the bars and they said they would recommend Bombay Mix over any other Indian . Could not fault it .

I ordered the Tandoori garlic chili chicken, which was delicious. Spicy though, be warned :p On the phone we mentioned we’d like a certain dish to be prepared vegan. Which in turn was executed well bij the restaurant. I’d recommend this place, definitely will be trying out more from their menu.

Popped into Tintagel as a quick drop off and with the town only having two chip shops, we stopped at the one closest to our car park. Two separate orders given at the same time and a loooong wait. Two fish and chips, 40 mins from order to being ready then another 15/ 20 min wait for the second order in addition. Nearly a whole hour wait from order to being able to leave and eat. Covid being the excuse given for waiting and if you order and don’t want to wait, then tough. Because of Covid no refunds. The locals know this and phone their orders through way beforehand and we had a number of collections occur before our delivery was ready. Portions though were of a good size and at around £7 for fish and chips, I would say that quantity was done for the sake of quality.

Food arrived very hot, very tasty. A lot of flavour, and in a reasonable time. Had a take away here many times and consistently good!

Estaba realmente emocionado de saber que Bandook estaba listo para abrir la publicación de Covid y me recomendó hacer una reserva para evitar decepciones. Llamé la noche anterior para reservar una mesa. Cuando llegamos, fuimos recibidos por una camarera que no estaba al tanto de ninguna reserva y simplemente se encogió de hombros repetidamente y nos señaló abruptamente una mesa vacía. Luego nos dijeron que el menú era `` limitado y que muchos artículos no estaban disponibles '' (no nos dijeron al hacer la reserva que el menú sería limitado) Terminamos yendo ya que solo había un puñado de artículos disponibles y ninguno estaba apropiado ya que mi pareja es celiaca. Realmente decepcionado con la falta de servicio al cliente y la comunicación del restaurante a los clientes que regresan. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, lo cual es una pena, ya que teníamos muchas ganas de hacerlo.

Awful…. Delivery driver was rude as he couldn’t find address (yet have plenty of other things delivered and no problems finding me!) Chips were cold, hard and could not eat and we ordered a kebab and a wrap… hardly any meat, again freezing cold and tasted awful! Will never order again

Tasty curry but over 45 mins late with delivery for a small order (despite the original delivery time being *an hour* from ordering, so took 1hr 45mins to reach me), granted it was a weekend, but an order placed before 6pm should not take this long. If they know delivery will take this long then they should be up-front about that when the order is placed. Would recommend this place only if you can travel to collect yourself.

Been here three times and been been excellent every time. Nicely kept beer + brilliant freshly cooked food + fast attentive service. Best around here.

Use Zinga quite regularly.Ordered Bank holiday Sunday. Food always good ,but this meal was exceptional. Meat samosa,onion bhaji.....Chicken biryani,veg curry, chicken madras, mushroom bhaji and delivered in an hour by a very nice driver.
