Food was amazing, Staff were friendly and hard working. Good atmosphere, clean premises. Definitely go again.

My partner and I went here for my birthday and I couldn't be more happier the staff were so welcoming and helpful with any enquires we had. The food was so tasty definitely been recommending this places to friends and family

Thought I would try something different from my favourite Indian restaurant. Had Naga chilli chicken wow absolutely fantastic, can’t rate this place enough always good service , spot on food , and a bloody great price as well , need I say more ?

Have used this restaurant for a take away in the past, has been good. So ordered a takeaway on Thursday evening with confidence, unfortunately the quality has plummeted. Lamb was tough and dry, my husband could not eat it. The poppadoms were stale and soft, literally tasted 'old' revolting, the chilli naan the same, stale, tough and dry. I would give one star but my prawns were OK. It's such a shame as I now won't be using tge Blue Garlic again, just feel ripped off. No-one wants stale food thank you, very poor.

Oh my word if you haven’t tried this place shame on you shame on you lol , had another great takeaway from here tonight, a must try 10 out of 10

Had another great meal from the blue garlic last night , the Nan was really fluffy and light , the Bombay potatoes where outstanding, the rice was fluffy as you like excellent, and the Chicken Madras was absolutely delicious, like any place you could possibly find the smallest of fault but that would absolutely pathetic to do so , this place is brilliant for food never had a bad meal always cooked ( in my mind ) to perfection, and most of all a bloody good price

Ordered from here after placing an order elsewhere and hearing nothing for 2hrs just to be told by someone who went to the restaurant they were no longer sending out their deliveries and were not bothering to tell customers, i was not impressed and STARVING. placed the order with Blue Garlic not expecting anything quick with it being late NYE but we had our food within the hour!! amazing time considering how busy it was and the food was amazing the Korma was a little cold but nothing we couldn't fix and all the rest of the food was hot and DELITIOUS!! Really happy and now have a new go to for Indian! 10/10 recommend

I’m extremely fussy when it comes to Indian food especially and the food here is delicious, we no longer live in Tidworth but make the 40 min round trip as I know I won’t be disappointed. I have various food intolerances and the blue garlic staff are very accommodating and take the time to check various ingredients. Great vegetarian selection too. Definitely 5 star food!

This is the second time I have been here since the first lockdown, and I can honestly say both times have been outstanding, outstanding to the point that there has been hardly any food left on my plate , would I recommended this place , Will I be going there again , well does a bear go in the woods to true I will be on both , one thing as well I am no tech wiz kid but the App is so so easy to use , to the staff there keep up the good work I will be ordering again shortly

It was my first visit to Blue Garlic and the would was lovely. The restaurant was clean and well presented. Service was a little slow. The food was tasty and good value forMoney. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back for another visit very soon.

As a family, we have been long term customers of the Blue Garlic Restaurant in Tidworth. My youngest son and I visited the restaurant again this evening. Both my son and I had Tandoori Chicken as our starter. This is the tastiest, tenderest and most flavoursome starter I have ever tasted in an Indian restaurant. I had chicken karai with pilau rice for my main course and it was out of this world. The Blue Garlic is, in my opinion, an outstanding Indian Restaurant. Every member of staff is welcoming, very friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. There is a free car park within a two minute walk from the restaurant. I am delighted to recommend the Blue Garlic as ‘must visit’ restaurant.

Had an evening meal. Restaurant was clean. Well presented. I liked the decor. Minimalist. Staff were attentive and menu was great, food even better. Highly recommend.

Visited the restaurant to celebrate grandson Callum's birthday.There were about 15 of us in total, all arriving at differing times prior to the meal. Each arriving group were kindly welcomed by the staff and shown to our booked table.The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The meals that we all ordered were excellent and the food came out mainly all together, this was very good considering the number of us. Throughout the evening, the waiters were very attentive.They were only too pleased to bring out the birthday cake, with candles alight and singing Happy Birthday, plates and forks were also provided without asking. As I was staying at a local B and B, I thought I would collect a takeaway from this delightful Indian restaurant and I was not disappointed.Parking available opposite or on the main road, delightful deco inside(I didn't dine inside because of needing to drive back to the B and B), very friendly welcome and very good service.Excellent menu, 15% off my food, spending over £15 and an excellent all round meal washed down with a few beers at the B and B.The lamb Tikki Biryani, a side of chana Masala and a stuffed Paratha, delicious and very good value for money.

Great food, good sized portions and very tasty food. I thought it was very reasonably priced and very good quality. Minor criticism would be that my chickpea curry was a little greasy so I had to use kitchen towel to absorb some of the oil but that was it. Everything else was perfect. The naan was soft and fluffy, chicken tikka masala was delicious and the pilau rice was delicately flavoured.

Really good Indian food with a wide selection of options we had a really nice time. We will definitely be back. Only suggestion would be to put more waiters on and give them sections, service was quite slow with about a 40 minute wait for mains & sides to arrive (it was busy but only two waiters and the manager on) it was difficult to get anyone’s attention to get more dips for popadoms or drinks, we were a group of 7 so we’re spending quite a bit of money.

2 be meal in as many weeks absolutely outstanding. Had delivery both times and spot on times as they said it would be. I don't like coriander and both meals have been without it as I asked for. Stunning meals.

This was my first time visiting the Blue Garlic. I must say I wasn't expecting such a nice looking restaurant. The decor is very modern and the staff are friendly and polite. They managed to seat our large party with relative ease. My only criticism would be that service was quite slow. When the food came out I found it to be hot and tasty. Overall I would definitely pay another visit.

A decent curry although not the best I've ever had but certainly worth a visit if you are in the area and want a curry. Mid-week is buffet night, the food is nice but the service was slow, the restaurant was not busy however we waited almost an hour from ordering to actually having the food.

Took over 45mins to take our groups order. Still no food after 1hr and a half. Only 2 other tables at the restaurant. Ridiculous delays in replenishing drinks. How is this place so highly regarded? I will never come here again. I would rather eat off the street!

We use Blue Garlic all the time, eating in and deliveries. Food always great. Service always attentive. Would highly reccommend. Wednesday banquet night is excellent value for money.

We are regulars at the Blue Garlic. My wife, sons and I visited the Blue Garlic this evening and if anything the quality of the food, the warm welcome and friendly staff were all better than ever. Anyone interested in a ‘hot’ Indian meal should try the Nagga Chicken - truly outstanding! Well worth a visit!

popped in for a quick meal..the silent reataurant was dominated by a water feature..food ok but could have had a tesco takaway and no difference

We had travelled from Yorkshire to Swindon, and wanted to meet my son who lives in Southampton. We found the Blue Garlic on the internet, and being about half way thought we'd try it.

Went with a few friends for one of Blue Garlic’s banquet nights and was quite impressed, the restaurant was clean, staff helpful and friendly and food was lovely with a great choice. Happy to go again.

use this restaurant a lot, have been to other Indian restaurants in bigger towns and the food is never as good. Highly recommended

Our local Indian is always a pleasant place to visit. Staff are always polite and helpful, restaurant is clean and bright with modern waterfall wall feature. Menu is not vast but all classic dishes you could ever need, all tasty and ample portions. always enjoy going here as a relaxed good meal at a reasonable price.

Ordered a takeaway in the restaurant on a Friday evening. Dreaded the waiting time due to a very busy restaurant and a queue of already waiting takeaways. Pleasantly surprised by how quick our food arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed it plenty of flavour and very nice portions will definitely be ordering again

My sons and I visited the Blue Garlic on Friday 16th June 2017 and had a wonderful meal. The service, quality of the food and ambiance were all outstanding. I recommend the Blue Garlic to all true Indian food lovers!

I went for dinner with a friend last night, her suggestion was the blue garlic . It was one of the best curry restaurants I have been too. Excellent service , very friendly staff. The food was lovely would highly recommend.

Firstly like to say how helpful the staff are , my wife has a diet that can be well very difficult to deal with but with the kind staff it was easy to choose a meal for her , the food was lovely ( we have had good food from here before ) as usual, would definitely be going back as it is good food and at a very fair price , worth a visit folks

Love this place, food good, staff good and efficient - come here often with my family.We tend to eat early due to our son being only 7. Given the option of where to eat, he will usually say here or the Chalkhill Blue in Andover. He loves a curry and they accommodate him for his pallet. I tend to have the king prawn or chicken shashlick with a sag dhal and a few extras between us. Best sag dhal around.

Been here a few times. Good food, but you do pay for it - no bargains here. In terms of Indian restaurants, it's clean, comfy and tastefully furnished, but to be honest...I think it's a little over-priced and the menu isn't that brilliant (for me). Personally I'd rather go to the Ministry of Spice and get food just as good, if not better at a much more conservative price.

We were here for a birthday meal. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant soon started to fill up with Takeaways doing a good trade too. The waiters were friendly and attentive, our drinks were soon served. I had a Balti meal and my partner had a Bhuna, both tasted really nice. We were full up after this.

So I eat from here regularly and the food is very tasty and generally to a high standard. The service is friendly and prices are good. Areas for improvement are, always put a jug of ice water on the tables as gratis...customers like things for free..who doesn't and hey it's only water. Also attention to detail, where are the hot towels after eating to freshen up and the little mint chocs with the bill? Other than that, it's a little gem in Tidworth

We hadn't booked, but were made to feel welcome. The blue Garlic is very comfortable and has a modern feel. The food was up there with the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Excellent quality, good portion size, and the service was like lightening.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times with friends, and it has always had very friendly and efficient service, and the food is always plentiful and great quality. There is lots of choice on the menu, the decor is modern and I am always surprised it's not more busy than it is!

Had a takeaway from here Saturday night! Was amazing! Had two curries, rice, nan bread and popadoms for under £20! Staff were really pleasant. Will Deffo be returning when I move down to tidworth next summer! :)

Not what you would expect to find in a sleepy parade of shops but this restaurant is a great find but one we would not have discovered but for friends suggesting we meet them there. Smart and clean with a good variety of dishes on the menu it is surprising it isn't or wasn't more popular but nevertheless well worth the visit and we will certainly recommend it to others. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we whiled away over two hours without realising it. The choices were good and the portion sizes just right and if you are in any doubt as to what to order then the staff will be only too pleased to assist.Easy parking just across the street and not difficult to find - well done Blue Garlic.

My sons and I had dinner at the Blue Garlic, Tidworth. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is really excellent. The restaurant is modern, airy, roomy and very comfortable. One of the very best Indian restaurants in the area. Well worth a visit. I can recommend the Tandoori Chicken starter and Chicken Madras main course. The chicken was tasty, extremely well cooked, succulent and very Morrish! An excellent Indian restaurant.

We always use to go to minstry of spice but as it closed we tried blue garlic which were plesantly surprised by the food was lovely the staff were very friendly and accomodating as we had a pushchair

I love it here, we normally get a take away and the staff are really friendly. Good value for money I think. Especially when there isn't a lot around to chose from.

Got a takeaway for the first time as a weekend treat, usually go to the Goa but thought we'd try elsewhere for a change- wrong move. They were obviously very busy so our food was delayed and when we got home the bag was dripping as there was so much grease from the curries, you could see the oil separate from the sauce on our plates, quite off-putting! Mushroom rice didn't taste great, curries were just okay. Unfortunately won't be returning.

We meet friends here two of three times a year. It's always excellent, clean and with cheerful staff. The food is good quality Indian cuisine and my wife is hooked on the tandoori salmon, raves about it every time.Try not to sit too close to the door, there is a lot of carry out business and in winter there's a rare old draught!Eat with confidence, it's very good food

I first visited this resteraunt about 2 years ago with family and found the service slow and the food cold and never returned. So when friends suggested going to the Blue Garlic for a get together, I thought things might have changed. How wrong could I have been. Service was slow and the food (vegetable byriani) arrived Luke warm minus the vegetable curry. Needles to say it was returned. When it came back, with the curry it was piping hot, however the curry itself looked and tasted like frozen mixed vegetables. It was not nice at all. So it was left untouched. Three Coffees were ordered at 21.20 by 21.45 they arrived and yes they were Luke warm too. I feel that this establishment cannot cope with large parties of people ours was 12, not large but obviously too much for them to cope with. I will not be returning! And suggest anyone reading this think twice before booking. Go elsewhere.....

Great restaurant I went 4/5 as I still prefer the pink olive, it's sister indian. I think namely because this restaurant appears to get a lot more take out orders, therefore the i restaurant speed, service is not quite as good. Still excellent though, don't get me wrong. Good food at a fair price.

Had this as a birthday meal, collected. Lovely environment to wait in and still hot by the time I get home. Very tasty food will always order from here.

THE BLUE GARLIC STATION ROAD TIDWORTH. We had a party of 4 0n the 29/11/2015. We went there for the buffet the choice was dreadful. 3 choices only very poor. The Poppadoms were extra as were the chutneys etc. The whole experience was not very pleasant. Please avoid the Buffet there.( Ie) we are aware they also own the PINK OLIVE IN WEYHILL. ALSO THE INDIAN/THAI RESTAURANT IN ANDOVER.

Have eaten here a few times over the past few months. We have always had very good service and what ever we have selected from the extensive menu has been very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant.

Good indian food, been back numerous times. Always tasty, good staff, hot fresh food. They do take out, good for couples, friends or parties. They often (randomly) have an Elvis night which i've never been able to get tickets for as it.s so blooming popular.

The staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our table. The decor is modern and colourful. We had a bottle of wine and some poppadums with the normal starter. Then the main staters came along. They were really nice. Next followed the main course - again, this was really well cooked.

The restaurant is very modern with its mood lighting in a water wall feature. Their is a good selection on the menu and on the drinks menu too.The staff could be a little more cheeful, though all in all a good experience.I have also had a take away from here, both delivered and pick up and the service has been great. If you wait to pick up your meal, you are able to sit back and enjoy a drink whilst you wait and you get a friendly service if you have your order delivered.

We usually go to the Pink Olive, which as I understand is under the same ownership and always superb.However, this evenings meal was even better. The prawns were HUGE and the food fresh and flavoursome. Good sized portions and good service.

The food was 5 star all 6 of us will definitely return. The staff were excellent very helpful. Drinks were reasonable great night was had by all. Next time we will book before as this restaurant was very busy and we had to waite about 10 minutes befor getting seated.

We have been to the blue garlic a few times and I have never been disappointed.The decor is very modern and stylish and service is great.As for the food I think that it's very decent sized portions.,all cooked fresh and presented nicely to you.The deserts are really lovely and the prices are very reasonable.Defiantly would recommend you won't be disappointed

A relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu is broad enough to offer choice but not so large that individual dishes aren't given due care and attention. Easily the best Indian in the area, prices are fair with a massive 20% discount if you pick up an order.

We were visiting the area and happened to come across this Indian Restaurant by chance last Sunday Lunchtime. It was offering a £7.95 buffet lunch so we decided to give it a go.The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was nicely decorated. The buffet turned out to me more of a set menu as the order was freshly cooked . A starter, curry, rice and nan bread was available for the price. I had a main course of Chicken Korma whilst my wife had Chicken Tika Marsala. The Korma was very mild and creamy in fact the mildest curry I have ever had. I do not like strong curry but even I would probably go for the Tika Marsala if I visited again. All in all the food was good and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Last night Thursday 19th March I was invited to join some friends to see Elvis and eat curry. Truthfully I was very doubtful about it being something I would enjoy... How wrong could I be! From the minute I walked into the bright decor of the resturant I could tell I was going to have a fun evening. We settled into our bright blue, curved booth and a smart, smiling waiter was ready to take our drink order. The glasses on the table were sparkling clean, the cutlery spotless and there was a big table with a whiter than white tablecloth. (Very important later on, as we had so many dishes and breads and there was lots of room)The resturant was completely full, the atmosphere was light hearted and fun with my co-diners mostly in groups of four or more. We had the choice of three different set menus with prices to fit most budgets. We chose the most expensive one that was about £60 for two including a very drinkable bottle of wine. There was lots of choice on all courses and the vegitarian in our group was spolt for choice. The naan breads were soft and spicy and my prawn curry spicy, not silly hot with huge juicy prawns, it would be crazy not to mention the soft fluffy rice which was perfect.The main event of course was Elvis... he made his first appearence dressed in black leather with a walk perfected to make you feel like Elvis had indeed entered the building. He had an excellent voice, with an Elvis look about him rather than being a look alike. The real appeal being he was just naughty enough without causing embarrassment. As he crooned and walked around the resturant he flirted and danced with many but was also respectful to those who were just happy to watch. The wine and beer flowed (expensive beer) the food munched and we swayed our arms and even got up and danced to wonderful Elvis classic's (I should mention I am not normally an Elvis fan). I was rather sad when his first set finished but it was great just to have a converstaion with my fellow diners and enjoy the happy atmosphere. The King returned a little later dressed in white and gold he went on to sing and dance his way ammoungst the tables with everyone joining in. I even had my turn dancing with the legend. During the madness that was going on the waiters remained attentive and happy, we never waited very long for plates to be cleared or glasses to be refilled.The evening ended with a delicious coffee and an encore from Elvis that had the entire resurant dancing to the Bollywood/Elvis mega mix (that sounds wrong on so many levels but it really was brilliant.Elvis finally left the building at 10.45pm after several hours of brilliant entertainment.I have already been online today to find out when I can experience this evening again. Ohh yes....... something that sounds so tacky was delivered with real class and style. It was quite a heady mix. Try it, I dare you!

The menu is really standard UK Indian, but it is well produced, well served by friendly, smart and efficient staff. We are regular visitors here, and will continue to be so.

We had a horrible experience and the service was so bad. When we told them that the service was bad the manager didn't care and was unfazed. He didn't even apologise for the staff being so inattentive. They didn't clear the plates and didn't get the food on time. Overall really bad experience would never recommend going there at least not until the staff changes.

We go here regularly and think the food is great. The staff know us and always look after us. The lamb tikka starter is one of the best we have had anywhere. Will definitely be back.

The welcome was friendly, the food very good and plentiful.The only downside was the continued prowling of one over attentive staff member but this maybe due to our party being the only customers at the time.

Poor service and over-priced. The only time the waiter smiled was when taking the order and as soon as he had the business the attitude quickly deteriorated.Food was of a decent standard though but was definitely let down by the other aspects.

We've been going to - & getting takeaways from - Blue Garlic for a few years now & have always recommended them in the past (see previous reviews). But I'm afraid we ate there last week (four of us) & were so disappointed. As I've said in previous reviews, I'm such a huge fan of Indian food & am quite fussy - I've always rated Blue Garlic as well above average. But our meal last week was distinctly ordinary - everything was tasteless & some things verging on not very pleasant.I think we'll try other places for a while now, sadly.
