Me encanta esta comida y siempre la compro los sábados. Las samosas son perfectas y relativamente grandes, y nunca me ha decepcionado este puesto. Los precios son razonables y la comida es muy fresca, no me puedo quejar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here the other night - it was all very fresh and the spices were very well balanced. Delicious paneer options and we were very impressed with the naan. By comparison to others, this is perhaps the closest in taste to the authentic flavours of India and Nepal. Glad to have this as our local and we'll be back in a heartbeat. Good value and great service. Thank you.

Superb restaurant, the menu is really interesting and if you want it the kitchen will cook things hotter or milder in spice. The staff are very good and service is prompt. It gets busy, especially on a Saturday night so it's advisable to book rather than just rock up. Recommended!!

I visited Zaika on a Wednesday evening with a group of friends. The food was lovely and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. At the end of the evening we received the bill with a £9 service charge, which when splitting the bill this was rounded UP!! Also we asked for water which cost us £3.50, you have to specify tap water!. Drinks were also highly priced 4.95 for a coke. We had a lovely meal, but will look elsewhere next time

In a lovely setting with some shade on a hot day. The gliders add interest and the Meze plate was very good. Limited choice on the menu but this was our second visit and we will definately be back if we are in the area.

Fantastic quality and brilliant service. I am stopping in Stonehouse for a few weeks and I really wanted a nice curry. I see the place by luck really and went in - some gorgeous authentic dishes with Murg Jal being my dishes - a slightly warm strength with an amazing sourness with a very fresh pillau price all for a tenner! I really would urge anyone try it

We have used Saffron for a few years and it has been super tasty. Unfortunately, the last couple of times just haven't been the same. The bread has suddenly become very dense, thick and almost undercooked. Today my chicken tikka didn't come with the usual salad or yogurt dressing. I love these parts and I really missed them. It was really disappointing as they are an integral part to the dish. I think we're going to try somewhere else now. Such a shame.

Had the most delicious, tangy curry from the fantastic India Palace yesterday (a Lamb Khyber - highly recommend!) This local restaurant is invaluable for our community. Thank you to all the team and look forward to our next visit.

Another delicious meal at The Pavillion. We usually dine-in as we like to make an occasion of eating such delicious food. I particularly appreciate the table linen, it makes the whole dining experience so special. Last evening we ordered Chicken Tikka, Vegetale Curry, Plain Boiled Rice, Jeera Gost, Pilau Rice, Garlic and Corriander Naan and Popodoms with dips to start, all freshly cooked and couteously served. We have been dining at The Pavillion since it opened in this location after moving from above The Old Neighbourhood Inn. Relatives of ours who have travelled the world and lived and worked in many eastern countries say it is one of the best places for a curry that they have experienced. Brimscombe, Stroud is so fortunate to have such a good Indian Restaurant and Takeaway.

I used to visit the Rajdoot when I lived in Stroud over 20 years ago and the service & food were excellent then. In the last year I have been visiting again with my 11 year old son and he describes it as his favourite place in the world to eat! To my surprise there are still some of the same familiar faces there and they could not be more welcoming to us. They have converted my son from being unsure about curry to him wanting to go as many times as we can! He really enjoys how welcome everyone makes him feel and he runs into the restaurant in front of me to shake everyone's hand. The food is excellent, and unlike some other places we have tried, you can tell it is made from fresh ingredients and not simply warming up a standard set of pre-made basic sauces with a few additions. If the restaurant is busy you may have to wait longer for food but I would always be happy to choose this over warmed up options. The staff are always keen to make sure popadoms, drinks and starters are served quickly while you wait for main dishes to be prepared. This is without doubt our favourite place to eat and I can see my son coming back here in 20 years time just like I have.

Had Lamb Shatkora this evening and it was AMAZING! The rice portions were great, not too small and my mate had a Garlic Veg Balti which was superb. The mango lassi was excellent too. Thank you and see you again soon.

Waited ages from the point of ordering to find all of our curries were completely lacking in flavour - possibly the most bland, utterly tasteless 'curry' we have ever had ever. The Lamb Rogan Josh tasted like school dinners lamb casserole with chewy lumps of fat we had to repeatedly spit out, and the chicken pasanda was plain unmarried lumps of plain chicken just tossed in red colouring in a sickly a non-descript 'sauce' that we just couldn't eat. Popodums were given to us in broken bits with just one tub of watered down plain yoghurt (no mint). The only nice bit was the Peshawari Nann which was quite acceptable. The bill was on the pricey side, so for the meal to be of such grossly disappointing quality we really feel quite ripped off and upset. Absolutely will not ever be returning. I only wish I had looked at the other reviews before going as so many people saying the same thing. Just avoid.
