The best restaurants serving Indian food in Gloucester South West

My partner and I went to India Zones for the first time tonight and we thought it was absolutely excellent! From the warm welcome, to recommendations, beautiful presentation and outstanding flavours, it was all flawless and so delicious! Cannot wait to return and try more dishes.

Food was cold and it literally came from a very short distance. I asked for mild and it was hot. No sauce just rice and veg....

Was impressed with this place when I first started going here but the tenderness of the meat recently has been disappointing. The lamb and chicken is not as tender as it should be. I feel like the meat should be falling apart. The chicken always seems tough, as if it's been cooked too quickly. Always a turn off for me.

Wow!!!! Absolutely gorgeous takeaway tonight. We were warned when we ordered of the wait time. Sadly, it was even longer BUT... We rang to check all was well. It then arrived five minutes later with a very apologetic driver who explained how busy they were. Then, whilst we were eating, had a follow-up call to check it had arrived - again, very apologetic, admitting they were busy but that this was below their own standards. Makes such a difference... And the food was stunning. Cannot fault at all. For no particular reason, we've not had a takeaway for a while but we will so definitely be back...soon!!!!

We have had indian takeaway deliveries from all over gloucester, can honestly say this is the worst ever

everything about this place is just unreal. staff are so nice. food is unreal. i go here often but decided to write a review as they deserve it. banging!

We have been using this takeaway since early 80 s tried other Indian takeaways sorry no a patch on this takeaway we've lost the best Chinese takeaway in Gloucester I really hope we don't lose this takeaway cos I think if we do I'm maybe going to have to stop having takeaways cos nothing compares to city Indian and parkend Chinese

Waited 1 hour 30mins when only suppose to be an hour. Food arrived cold and items missing when I rang they said I hadn't ordered missing item yet they charged me for it. Wouldn't use them again and won't be recommending them to anyone else either

Been using this takeaway for quite a few years but today was very disappointed we feel in the comments box to ask for no onions as it could kill my wife and also to make my dish milder was not sent through so ended up with food we could not eat would not eat here again

We recently moved near by and haven’t found a good place for a curry. This was the first time trying Indian memories and it was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. Amazing food and amazing service

What an amazing shop... Really friendly staff... Jane and Katie were so helpful and the shop looks great. So much choice, hats, scarfs, hand bags and shoes .... they also have a huge range of baby and toddler clothing 👶🏻🍼 with enough bows and fashion jewellery for every occasion. The ladies here really looked after us today... A big thank you 😊

WOW BASIC....Sheek Kebab no dips just plain no sauces no popadoms

I have been coming to this Indian for years. We ordered tonight because it’s my birthday and we had £17 off the stamp on just eat. Taste of India immediately cancelled my order. I ordered again, they cancelled again. The reason they cancelled is because they do not want us to have the £17 off which we rightly deserve. They are rude on the phone and are liars. I am actually gobsmacked that after all these years of going to them they actually treat us like this. On speaking to just eat they said that they never reject orders it’s the takeaways that do. Avoid at all costs!

Chicken was raw!! Food was cold. Never again.
