Bhaji's in Gloucester

Been using this takeaway for quite a few years but today was very disappointed we feel in the comments box to ask for no onions as it could kill my wife and also to make my dish milder was not sent through so ended up with food we could not eat would not eat here again

I ordered a takeaway delivery from Bahji's last night It arrived earlier than stated & hot. I just got to say WoW it was delicious, no fat residue around the food in the containers, you could tell it was freshly cooked & delivered. Also a big thank you for cooking it to my request..a 10/10 from me..I will be back.

Horrible. You'd get better flavour from a microwave meal. I've eaten bhunas for about 25 years, this was the worst I've ever had. The lamb tikka was not fresh and was rubbery. The chicken tikka bhuna went in the bin immediately. Terrible texture and flavour. Complete waste of time and money. Avoid.

I have ordered Chicken Tikka and Naan . Chicken Tikka is not authentic at all. It taste very bad. All in all the worst chicken tikka. Naan was nice and hot.

A friend of mine was eating a curry from this place and she suddenly had very hard chewy bit took out of her mouth and it was cigarette butt ! Felt very sick that this happened and that a food place could allow smoking !

Consistently excellent food..except for Naan which are usually undercooked or overcooked and PLEASE use paneer in the mattar paneer instead of cheddar.

Typing whilst still eating an amazing curry. Lamb Jalfrezi and a Passanda plus all the extras. Not oily, it was fresh and spicy and aromatic. Great delivery time considering peak time on a Saturday. Highly recommended. Great Bangladeshi food! Update: It’s the morning after now and I really wish I’d put a toilet roll in the fridge! 🥵🧻

Ordered food nothing complicated but took nearly 2hrs for this to be delivered, rang up and all I got was we are busy and food will be there when it's ready, terrible communication, when food arrived it was OK but nothing to write home about, will be trying somewhere else next time

Sauces for the curries seems thickened with cornflour, not reduced. Very paste-like in consistency which was disappointing & not pleasant to eat. Nan & rice good but curries not great.

Really awful. Ordered a take away. Poppadoms were in crumbs. Food was cold and the thinnest slice of chocolate fudge cake ever. Would not use again. Very dissappointed

Used to be our favourite takeaway but after two awful deliveries we won't be using these again. Our delivery of over £50 for a party of four ended up in the bin and we had to order from elsewhere. Such a shame.

I had a takeaway last night due to being poorly and not having any energy, I chose a prawn korma and sag paneer side dish. Sadly the korma was very bland, the most bland I have ever had, the spinach dish was ok but £3.50 delivery cost for 1 mile down the road, I wouldn't go again!

Previously it has been good. This time it was really bad. All the food tasted like it was made with mainly dry ingredients. The phall tasted like pure chilli powder, I searched and couldn't find a single chilli in it. It was awful The rest of the food, especially the saag aloo had the dry artificial taste of curry powder and was a negative experience. Would not try again.

Its not authentic Indian food. I ordered lamb curry, it was sweeter than a desert. I also ordered mutter paneer, there was no paneer in it. Not even a single one. Very bad experience.

As per usual fantastic food we have never had a better takeaway curry keep up the good work would recommend Bhajis to everyone

Lovely experience with lovely staff. Have ordered from here twice now. First time the delivery was prompt and the food came piping hot. Really enjoyed the butter chicken from here and the special fried rice. Went a second time for collection and staff again were really helpful. Ordered a chicken tikka buryani which I would highly recommend! Can't wait to order from here again

Ordered some food from them, was amazing and tasted very nice. The delivery time was amazing and the driver was polite which is a plus. Defo recommend.

Just had a pick a mix meal from Bhajis previously I had given this place a 5 star rating but after the last two meals I must say I've changed my mind and deleted my previous exceptional review and I'm replacing it with an updated version I'm totally amazed by how an eatery can change this place used to be great now it is poor very poor last two meals have been bloody awful my main was meant to have vegetables in it all there was,was peas and sweet corn and a slice of tomato not a single potato or anything that resembled veg . Just a pot of sauce worst vegetable dhansak I've had in my life so far, side dish was so salty it was like having a mouth full of sea water the only pleasant thing of the whole meal was the poppadom and nann bread everything else was poor its sad to say I've been going here for some time now seen it change management on quite a few occasions but alas I shall be looking for a new takeaway for my curries from now on .

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service and quality of service. Had to ring them to ask where our order was, 2 hours after it was ordered (1 hour - 1.5 hour estimate). The person on the phone told us it was on its way and that they'll include a free 1.5ltr bottle of coke. The coke was already included in the meal, as stated on their website. The food eventually arrived 2 hrs 45m after ordering and we didn't receive our full order. Rang them back again and was told they'd make the missing items for us but it will be at least an hour. When asked for a refund, was told to ring just eat as they don't deal with that. Thoroughly disappointed.

Awful experience. Having been a customer for over 7 years this place has really gone down hill!! Ordered my usual curry last week and was extremely disappointed, tasted like vinegar; had to throw the whole thing away. Phoned to complain and was promised a replacement for free next time I ordered. When the replacement arrived they attempted to charge me for the meal and lied about the free replacement. They were aggressive and the delivery driver attempted to enter my property. Disappointed, I have to find a new place now.

Been coming here for 10 years usually 1st customer. Travel from Malaysia to pick up a pick and mix 4 great value best curry for miles. Highly recommended.

Have been visiting this place since I can remember and they always underpromise and overdeliver (pun unintended)! The flavours, spices and aroma are second to none. Each dish is freshly prepared and cooked by the skilful kitchen staff. The service is exceptional and prices are extremely reasonable. Looking forward to my next visit.

Printed menu off website, said if you collect 10% off so we did! Our bill should have been £36 but went to pick up food and was £47 as old prices on website and no longer discount for collection!! Very disappointed ! Food was nice though !

Always polite and friendly over the phone and upon delivery. The food is always delicious, hot and is very reasonably priced. We don't eat anywhere else!!

I personally don't like to choose from the menu, so when I asked the chef to make me something specific to me, he obliged very kindly and it did not cost me anything more than standard menu prices. These guys really put love into their cooking..give them a try and you'll stick with them for a long time to come.

Always been our Indian takeaway of choice for over 3 years now. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Must try!
