Visited after a day at the races for a takeaway- Bombay chips were amazing as was our curry! Shame we were only visiting Huclecote for 4 nights and we live at the other end of the country and 😊

We had a great experience this evening. As we went with our 6-month-old baby, we got a highchair for him. so we ate peasfully. The food was delicious. The chicken malai tikka was especially awesome. Quality and quantity both changed and upgraded. I personally love the steel dishes. It gives me home kinda vibes. I visited 7 months ago when the quantity of food was less. But today, it was really good. You can eat two people from one bowl of sabji. Thank you Indian Enroute for making our dinner memorable.

Ordered and never arrived after waiting 2 hours left my dad starving with no food

We ordered a takeaway last night. I was super impressed with the wide range of choices on the menu, many of the same choices that were on the menu at Dishooom. I ordered the mutter paneer which was absolutely delicious and I would say was better than the same dish I had in Dishoom. Really looking forward to trying other items on the menu

Thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway. Ordered online and very straightforward. Extensive menu and different to a lot of takeaways around the area. Everything was fresh, authentic and so tasty. Particularly enjoyed the bhajis. Good value for the quality. Will definitely be back.

I have been looking for an authentic Indian restaurant/takeaway in Gloucestershire for a long time. I normally have to travel to Birmingham or London, but no more! The food here is authenticly Indian, cooked by a qualified chef who trained at one of the top hotels in India. A lovely friendly family business. Well done guys.

Unique and authentic flavours, it was clear there were no shortcuts here, the sauces and spice blends have been painstakingly prepared from scratch. One of the best meals I’ve had this year!

Outstanding takeaway experience from this curry haven! The aroma hit me as soon as I opened the containers, and the taste exceeded my expectations. Each curry was packed with authentic flavors, and the portions were generous. Quick service and convenient packaging made it a top choice for a cozy night in. I'll be ordering again soon!

Really disappointed in the curries we received tonight. For £52 for three curries, three rice, four poppadoms, two naans it was an expensive take away. The chicken tikka and lamb korma had no taste but sour and a tomato puree taste, and didn't taste anything like these dishes are ment to taste. Both dishes had 4/5 pieces of meat in. Just seems abit of a rip off for how much was paid.

Giving a generous Two stars for the mixed grill the only item we could eat. The food we had yesterday can't be from the kitchen of the chef mentioned on their website for his experience and accomplishments. Chicken chettinad- Nothing like how it should taste, just tomato's and sour. Couldn't really taste anything other than too much tomato's. Railway lamb curry- Again total disaster, just tasted tomato puree and very sour. Both curries tasted nearly same- just sour, no flavours nothing. Really disappointed. I am failed to understand why they are rated this high.

Beautiful food, slightly more quirky menu than your average Indian takeaway and feels very authentic! Once you’ve tried their food I think you would find it difficult to find such a good comparison!! Simply delicious 😋

not good value - quite expensive per dish and hardly any meat in any of our dishes. Lamb rogan Josh had three small pieces of lamb, chicken korma only had 3 or 4 pieces in. The curries were very tasty but I can’t give more stars because of the lack of meat and high cost

This is by far the best Indian take away I’ve ever had. It’s exceptional. The food is always tasty, fresh and fragrant and I love the side chutneys etc they provide. There are some different options to try from the street food section of the menu too. Service is always friendly. I cannot recommend highly enough. Love it!!!

The chicken Biriyani was very spicy and chicken was stringy and overcooked.

It’s the second time I’ve ordered a collection. Very efficient. The food is amazing, had the samosa chaat for starter full of flavour, Bhuna and tikka had a good kick, can tell it’s freshly made, the homemade bhajis topped it off nicely will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends. Best traditional Indian food, cooked fresh. Not greasy at all and very tasty. We have recommended this place to friends and family and they now all order from here and wouldn't go anywhere else. The menu is not as extensive as some Indian takeaways because they only cook their local traditional Indian dishes but I think this means they can get the best flavour etc from the dished they have and there is enough choice so there is something for all tastes. Highly recommended 👌

Opted to dine-in at the wonderful Indian Enroure. The quality and taste of the food was excellent, the prices very reasonable and the service was brilliant. Could not fault anything and will definitely use to dine-in and have takeaways in future.

This is a small takeaway that catered to our impromptu request for 14 guests. Food wasn't great though which was a shame. The butter nan was burnt, chicken kolhapuri hardly had any chicken in it. Would give them the benefit of the doubt as we were a large party and gave them only 1 hour notice

Just had a takeaway from here, absolutely delicious, lots of lovely spices meat and veg cooked perfectly, will definitely be having one again.

The BEST Indian takeaway in Gloucester by far! Friendly owners and always tailor a special "hot" curry for my husband. Tasty, fresh and delicious.

Cold Mixed Grill Platter, stale popadoms and naan bread tasted like it was left over from last nite. Not Good.

I have ordered food from Indian Enroute many times and their food has always been delicious with a good mix of spices, not too oily and pretty authentic. I would definitely recommend their tandoori chicken/paneer and their breads are freshly made. I will definitely be ordering again in a few weeks.

This is my favourite takeaway. The chips and the mango dip are delicious but you can't go wrong with any of it. It's always well presented and tastes fresh, the chef is very inventive and the lady at the front of house is friendly and helpful. I really recommend this place.

Not bad considering it's new. A much needed *decent* curry takeaway in the area. Friendly service and reasonable prices, certainly cheaper than the other one up the road. Food was hot and tasty. Best Indian in Gloucester by far. I've tried almost everything on the menu and there's not a dud in the bunch. They've got some really unique choices, especially the street food and the vegetarian options are good (and well priced). I've got my family ordering from here now and have even managed to convert some of them who aren't normally into Indian food.

went here for the first time a few days ago with some family... Was served a watery sloppy mess of chicken with an unfair serving of chips (6 at most) They were uncooked in the middle anyways! Sorry to say this made its way to the bin

After reading various reviews, my friends & I decided to order from here instead of our usual Indian takeaway. We were certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely superb, the dishes we chose were full of flavour. The spices and heat were all at the right level. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this place to my family and friends.

Start with good bits Naan were spot on The spinach chicken was no way near how I like it. So won't be going again. Good guys there good customer service

Our family love Indian Enroute and have ordered regularly since they opened. I have ordered the roti lots of times and it has been (according to my 'authentic' Indian dad) just right, as were the samosa! Other family favourites are Pani Puri and aloo bhindi masala and chana masala! I love that they cater to us vegans too, definitely recommend.

The naan was completely burned, hard. We just had to throw it away; it was uneatable. Roti was too hard. Paneer had more veg and onions only 3 pieces of paneer in a portion. Only the curry was tasty. I doubt us ordering again. It’s just waste of money. Paying to get poor quality, burned food.

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday. Menu was authentic offering many dishes not seen in run of the mill restaurants.All reasonably priced too. Food was nicely presented and obviously freshly cooked. We were really impressed, it tasted great. I will definitely be going back again.

Me and my husband were visiting Gloucester . Both days that we stayed in Gloucester we went to Indian enroute for our dinner. Although they have takeaway service, we were allowed to sit and eat in the restaurant. Not only the food was good, but the couple who ran the business were very kind and friendly . I would certainly recommend this place if you enjoy Indian taste.

Awful. Overcooked food. We tried the enroute 55 amrithsa fish and bhel. The fish and chicken was rock hard. The bhel was like mash potatoes!! We tried the dark dhal. Undercooked spice full of sour tomato. The paneer was so sour and just full of raw onions. Will not order from here again. I complained and was not offered a refund because I booked online!!!

Having been to a lot of Indian restaurants and takeaways in Gloucester I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good this food was. We ordered Chicken Tikka Makhani with two vegetarian dishes and everything was cooked so fresh and the flavours were absolutely fantastic. The portions were big too and the prices were reasonable. One of the best Indian takeaways I've ever had in the UK to be honest, will definitely be returning

Had a few people round last night so made quite a large order including several of the Roadside Plates. Absolutely everything was fantastic and I can't recommend it enough, the chilli fish and black daal were favourites but I'd happily have all of it again. Definitely my new go-to Indian.

Excellent curries and a little different to the normal, with a bit of Asian fusion. Can't beat neat handwriting on the containers either, no arguing over what's inside and getting meals mixed up when dishing up!

I’ve been ordering every week from this restaurant since it opened and the food has been on point every single time. I think a lot of attention has been put into everything even down to the packaging. The couple who run the restaurant are friendly and always cater to special requests . I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some authentic tasty Indian

This is our first time ordering food after looking at reviews. We are happy that we found this new place which is serving great delicious food. Everything we ordered was great, very tasty and delicious. Samosa chat after a long long time I ate a tasty chat in u.k, even kathie roll was very tasty. Both Chicken and Lamb dum biryani were great, flavourful , not overly spicy. It was amazing food. Thank you Chef's. We will see you again shortly. All the best to you, I am hoping for pandemic to end and for you to get more and more deserved share of recognition.

Ordered food for the first and the last time from this restaurant. They forgot to include the main curry dish! When I called up the restaurant to point out the error, the lady on the phone wasn't very keen to re-send the missing dish as they don't have any drivers of their own apparently. Had to settle for a refund instead which again the lady said would be processed a day later as she was 'too busy tonight'. That's not good customer service in my books. Dal makhani tasted average. Chicken Biryani was ok. All in all, not a pleasant experience. Never ordering from this place again. Edit: The restaurant left me a voicemail with apology today. Hence I have decided to give it 3 stars instead of one.

Indian enroute, saldy more like detour... 60 min wait turned to 90+ and not even a sorry for the wait. The portion sizes are slim, a few small bits of chicken in the dishes and some old poppadoms did not go well... Will not be looking to use these again

Cannot rate this new takeaway highly enough. Reasonably priced yet the food is in a different league to others. Everything tasted so fresh and you could tell the effort that had gone into making it. Nice to see varied veggie options thats not just loads of onion in a sauce like your standard takeaways. Your business deserves to do really well and we will be back for sure!!

Food was like home cooked Indian,very tasty, not much choice on the menu as other take aways.Given it was semi lockdown food was half hr late but understandable, dishes only half full. Felt hungry after 2 hours

Authentic North Indian Delight, just what you need when u think of a proper Indian takeaway. It's run by a lovely couple(from Chandigarh,IND) who has a strong background and experience in what they do. So my take is you should definitely try this place. And yes they do the lunch menu till 4pm. They got plenty of parking space to order, wait and to collect. So no hassles guys. Land mark just opposite to huccelcort library. Most of all they come at a reasonable price.
