The best restaurants serving Indian food in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

We went to the Grameen for a friends birthday cerebration The food was very disappointing. All the curries we had tasted the same. They were not spicy at all Would not go again. Waiters were quite rude.

Stayed in Penzance for a break and ordered take away from here. Very friendly staff and lots of vegan options. The food was delicious. So good we ordered here twice. Highly recommended.

Staying at St Mellion golf resort for the second year running and got a take away as the one we had last year was first of class. Was not disappointed once again. Great service, reasonably priced and excellent quality food with an extensive menu. Hope to see you again next year if not before.

First time having a takeaway and it didn't disappoint. The food was very tasty and flavoursome and I didn't have to wait long for my order. I will definitely be coming back.

Not a warm welcome. Felt like we were intruding on a staff meeting. The waiter referred to my party as guys when clearly 2 of us were ladies. I asked the waiter not to address us in that manor. 3/4 of an hour later when the food came he did it again. Other restaurants are available locally.

Very bad quality of produce and customer service. Bombay potato was ordered as a takeaway, all the potatoes were black, and I mean very black, as if rotten. I was surprised as I have ordered from this takeaway numerous times over the years, but I’ve moved address now so my orders probably aren’t on the same file. Called the restaurant respectfully, the member of staff on the phone was polite and I communicated that I knew it wasn’t his fault personally. But it was obvious he was under instructions . Was offered “extra Bombay potato” next time I order. Firstly after I said the potatoes were black he implied that it was too spicy. I asked for a refund of just that dish (others were fine) and I could not have that. Asked to speak to a supervisor and apparently he was outside so couldn’t help. But I knew the supervisor was there because he asked for advice from him on the phone which I could hear in the background. Such a shame. This was my favourite place by far. Never again.

All in all just great! There's nothing wrong with it. Being able to bring your own alcoholic drinks is a great solution! We'll definitely be back when we're in St Ives. Thank you for everything!

Expected better. Had a takeaway for 5 so whilst I waited had a pint of Lal Tufan. Flat and bland. Sadly, the food wasn't anymore inspired. Salty and plain. I hope others had a better experience. I'm aware they have a £15 buffet deal but it's cash only. Whilst we waited they were content for a couple to leave because like the rest of us, they don't carry cash with them anymore. Strange business logic in clearly trying times.

Ordered a takeaway while on holiday and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike most places, they differentiate between vegetarian and vegan items on the menu which is so helpful. The food was fantastic and each dish was full of flavour. Felt more authentic than most Indian restaurants in the UK. My wife commented “this doesn’t feel like it was made for English people” 😂 Would highly recommend. We’ll be back again!

This is the second time we have visited this excellent restaurant. As the first time, service and food was excellent. Staff very friendly, made to feel like a local on our holiday. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Bude later in the year.

Ordered veg tawa special and only got red color veggies floating in oil. Onion bhajjis were not crispy and dribbling oil. Not recommended if you have ever had eaten indian food before.
