Visting friends in the area, we went here for our evening meal. Could not fault the food at all. Id even go as far as to say this is the best curry experience I have ever had.! We asked for a few chef recomendations as random dishes and were presented with some astonishing food. Great balance of flavours, very friendly. Could not fault it at all.

It's me and my girlfriend's favourite place for curry. We like to try a different one every time and it never fails. The restaurant is a bit cold but that's the only thing I can fault, better than being too hot I suppose.

Major plus is it's quite cheap but other than that fairly bland and mediocre curry. Service pleasant enough but not good enough overall to return.

We booked a family meal here fairly last minute and didn't know what to expect as not visited before. It was quiet and we were the last guests for the evening, but were made to feel really welcome. We had a lovely chat with the staff and they couldn't have been nicer. The food was amazing, probably some of the best curry I've ever had. Starters and main courses were really tasty and pretty large portions. Prices were fair and if we end up returning to this part of Cornwall we will definitely be back.

I came from London and wanted to explore the local restaurants. Went with family. It was horrible experience. Food was under cooked. he was owner’s son or owner, start arguing and he literally start harassing us. His voice was so high and even he didn’t want you to talk.I told him food is not properly cooked, Even didn’t ask him to take it back. Very bad customer services. Please avoid this restaurant especially don’t take your family there. No respect for customers. He doesn’t hesitate to argue with female. No manners

Nowadays, it is so hard to find authentic Indian restaurants in the UK. We came in to the restaurant without high expectation. The guy who took our order, happens to be the son of the owner of the restaurant, is super kind, polite and friendly. We enjoyed our food; starter, curry, tandoori and chicken and chips. The owner of the restaurant was also there and he was kind , poliite and friendly as well. Father and son have great hospitality.

I had a garlic chicken curry with rice and naan, the garlic curry tasted bland and watery and not much flavour to the curry! Chicken pieces were under cooked, but the rice and naan tasted very nice. Overall expensive, especially with the food isn't great.

Visiting the area. Rang at 8:45pm placing an order for delivery. Arrived at our resort 20 mins earlier than estimated. Food absolutely amazing and delivery driver great too. Highly recommend.

Very Friendly welcome, We’ve been to most of the Indian restaurants in Cornwall, this was by far the tastiest curry I’ve had , also the chicken was lovely and moist not the usual generic dry chunks, great little find , and you can take your own Alcohol

Our favourite place for indian cuisine, food always tastes fresh and nice. They can also adapt alot of their non meat dishes to be vegan. We've only ever had takeaways but will probably eat in sometime soon.

Very polite, checked everything was as we wanted. Were asked if we wanted glasses and they were brought in promptly. The food was superb, really nice and good portions. Great place, would recommend it.

Just visited for a boxing day family meal. The service was brilliant and the recommendation of a suitable meal after learning one of party was allergic to nuts was fabulous. The food portions were good and the quality was excellent. Truly one of the tastiest Indian meals we have had. It had been a while since our last visit but I am encouraged to revisit soon. Thankyou.

Booking was easy!!! Sanitiser on the counter on entry. Smiling face and big welcome as you are led to your table. The waitress was kept busy but managed very well to keep the orders coming out swiftly. Very polite and attentive young lady. The food was amazing, it came out lovely and hot. The presentation 👌. The flavours were delicious. My visiting family were really impressed with the meal. Have had takeaways from here before and they are also great, but eating in is a definite must. By far the best.

We’ve visited twice this week on a little post lockdown mini break. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff (even though they were clearly very busy) and reasonable prices. Add to that a smart, fresh decor and all in all, it was an extremely enjoyable experience. Would most definitely recommend.

5*****! The food here is so packed full of flavour and dishes aren't bulked out with huge chunks of onion or pepper.

I have eaten the food from the Bengal Balti before, and it is by far the best for miles around. Right from ordering, which was easy and done over the phone The lady who answered was friendly, and polite. Delivery was quick and the food hot. The food was so tasty, multiple layers of flavour and the Lamb was so tender. Portions were spot on. Definitely my go to take away, if the calibre of food was that good, can't wait to have a sit down in the restaurant. Highly recommend 👌 it.

Very tasty had a few visits in the last week. Friendly lady on the front desk who is very cheerful and I enjoyed chatting with her when waiting. Nice poppadoms and garlic naan : ) kitchen were very quick and cooked it fresh while I waited. Will return again soon 5*

Just had our first meal takeaway from Bengal Balti. Wow great meal, plenty to eat, and a great taste. I will certainly be ordering again, I highly recommend Bengal Balti.

After my last visit where I opted for their local competitor, I was very pleased with this restaurant. Food was perfect. Consistency, taste, spiciness.. all spot on. Service was great too, both on the phone and at delivery. Price was also better. I could get a main, rice, naan and side all for a little less than just main rice and naan at the comptetor. I will be back. Thank you.

Everytime I order the food is absolutely perfect 👌 would highly recommend eating from here.

Mixed kebab starter was 3 dried out pieces of inedible leather. Soggy poppadoms so not fresh at all. The rest was just completely tasteless, no flavour, no fresh herbs or spices just expensive slop. Akso please never ever save their rice to do again as it is 100% already recooked. Aweful

I had a phall and it was delicious I recommend give it a try. I saw a revue that said they don't have a liquor licence but when they are open for sit down meals they let you bring your own alcohol so you can drink what you want at super market prices

Food delivered within timescales, all piping hot. Delicious starters & mains and reasonably priced. Glad Bengal balti are surviving this Covid crises.

It was awful ,food not hot ,despite an empty restaurant on a saturday night . Wont be returning .

two and a half hours wait for food which arrived wrong! Very poor ordered a garlic chilli tawa no garlic two chillies. Lamb chilli balti no chilli very bland. Place was not very bust just very under staffed

Ordered lamb byriani was very watery with no taste and 2 tiny bits of lamb will not be returning.used to taste lovely

Just picked up a takeaway I ordered Garlic chilli chicken, well I don't know what they gave me bland no taste awful only good thing was the popadoms won't be back

Ordered 2 Balti dishes but received a couple of trays of what can generously be described as bland blended baby food with some chicken thrown in. No taste, no body, no spice and nothing like a balti we’ve had elsewhere. Rang the restaurant and was told it was a new chef, and that they would drop some replacements dishes down ASAP. On arrival of new dishes, we checked them whilst the delivery girl was here, only to find we had been delivered the same sub standard mush with a little extra spice. Asked for a refund but was told by the owner that unless all dishes including the pilau rice was returned, he would not give a refund. The original 2 dishes containers were in the bin and we had poured what was left into the one dish. This was not acceptable and the owner insisted on the return of all 4 containers. Dreadful food, appalling customer service and would no longer recommend. AVOID!!!!!!!

Ordered 3 main meals, a few sides and naan breads. Everything was edible, but no element was nice. Every single dish was terribly bland and watery. Meal came out 15 minutes after the agreed collection time with no explanation. Returned home 2 minutes later to find everything was cold. Not for me.

The WORST. Watery curry. Zero flavours in all dishes. Go elsewhere - pure disappointment. Microwave style samosas. Frozen vegetables. Bad cuts of chicken.

Meal took an hour to be served, was nice when it arrived. Waitresses didn't seem to know what was being served so we ended up swapping meals ! Managers attitude was horrendous through out. We WILL NOT BE GOING BACK OR RECOMMENDING .

The tikka masala we got was very flavourless. We didn’t even finish 1/2 of one between us. My husband’s chicken was cold (like fridge temperature) on the inside and has been sick since he had it.

Went to our usual wonderful The Thai in Town to discover it was closed for holidays. Went instead to the Bengal Balti across the road. They have lost their licence so only drinks available are coke or diet coke. Ordered a take away. The prawn puri starters were quite acceptable. The mains were dire.Prawn Madras and Prawn Rogon Josh were virtually identical. Both had a thickened VERY sweet sauce (diabetics beware) mixed with some very small brown shrimp sized prawns. The Madras had the addition of half a teaspoon of chilli powder. The side dishes consisted of a Bombay Aloo consisting of six par-boiled potatoes but no sauce. The Bhindi Bhaji had a fair amout of Bhindi but no sauce. A desperate meal. Diners beware!

Poor service and not welcoming seems to really only cater for locals.

My vegetable curry had a nice flavour but mainly consisted of onions. Choice of 2 soft drinks and no desserts available.

Highly recommendable take away to get food from fast service, high quality food and service also the delivery is always on time.

My partner and I came here to get a take out over the bank holiday weekend. The worst Bengalese food we have EVER tasted. An off the shelf cook in sauce would’ve tasted better! Very very bland, no distinctive flavour or spice to speak of, tasted like a watered down sauce, hardly any meat, which was tough as old boots and no vegetables, as described on the menu. Very disappointing as visitors to this area and cost about £25.00 for the bad experience too. Complete rip off.

5 of us went in as a family, we are quiet and very polite. Went to this restaurant as the reviews seem good. Went in no staff around and no sign saying wait to be seated. Took a seat near the front door to be greeted by one of the staff member who rudely and loudly said ' your supposed to wait to be seated and not just take a seat ' safe to say every customer in the room heard. I have worked in many restaurants and visited even more and never known customer service to be this poor! Safe to say we walked out! Food may be good but we will never know.

Super impressive service, always kind and welcoming with really good food. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, you can literally walk in and sit wherever you want with no problems, we had a great time!

Just had a tasty chicken madras and a starter. Not many customers in tonight and the service was quick and it didn't take long for the food to be served. I would call in again next time I'm in the area.

Well we had a takeaway from this Restaurant and the food was wonderful.

Not sure if indicitive of a typical night but only one front of house staff luckily we turned up as a table of 6 had just finished and just on other regular customer. Once we had ordered the food was very nice and would recommend visiting. However, they don't have a liquor license so don't serve alcohol.

We ate here last night and felt like the food was rushed because of closing time. No flavour or spice in any of the Currys or dall. Ordered a Keenan naan and got plain.

One person serving. Long wait to be seated Long wait to order Long wait for drinks Poppadum’s were burnt and soft...not your usual crisp Onion Bhajis tasteless. Both Korma and Passanda were very good however...extremely flavoursome! All in all, not one I’ll travel back too!

Visited many times and the food and service always very good. Bring your own wine is an added bonus.

Great food friendly staff what more do you need

Have regualrly eaten here and have yet to have a bad experience or poor food. We rang last minute on Saturday and were accommodated despite the restaurant being full. Friendly staff, good service and great food. Bring your own alcohol, which suits me.

Stayed in Camborne for the weekend with friends and as is usual we like to finish the Saturday night with an Indian meal.

My Wife and I took our 14 year old Daughter and her best friend here for Her Birthday treat. Booked table over the phone so got seated straight away. Little bit cramped as seated right by Kitchen door but comfy enough. Restaurant is BYO so saved money on drinks. Order taken by very friendly member of staff and did not have to wait too long for starters. Main course was next to arrive and glad to say every meal was spot on, plentiful and very tasty. Over all dining here was a very pleasant experience and will differently be repeated.

The food was spot on,delivery was late, the young boy on the other end of the phone was very rude and unprofessional, when questioning how long my food was going to be as it was in the end 25 mins late,a total of 1hour and 25 mins for delivery from phone order

Ordered our take away after a long day travelling and had to wait 45 minutes for the order, which was fine as we were told this from the start and were told all orders were freshly cooked. However, when we sat down to the meal later at home, we could not believe just how awful it was. The tarka dahl was bland and watery; the saag bahjee was swimming in oil and that's all it tasted of: the 2 mains - a madras and a rogan were both tasteless, under spiced, with very little meat at all and both swimming in greasy sauce. The best bit was the naan. If you are looking for good quality, freshly cooked, tasty Indian cuisine, I would suggest you try somewhere else. This was disappointment from start to finish, it ended up in the bin.
