The best restaurants serving Indian food in South West

Stopping in Newent for weekend. Ordered take out curry. What'a menu. Fabulous selection. Walked in - lovely spicy aromas. People eating in looked happy. Only disappointment was food should have been ready for collection at 8.50 and didn't come out of kitchen until 9.15 and I was ravenous. Anyhow the food was well prepared, very tasty and worth the wait.... Recommend if you're in the town......

Stumbled across this gem. Really good food, reasonably priced. If ever back in the area will certainly visit again. And the staff were polite and friendly.

Staying at St Mellion golf resort for the second year running and got a take away as the one we had last year was first of class. Was not disappointed once again. Great service, reasonably priced and excellent quality food with an extensive menu. Hope to see you again next year if not before.

Estaba realmente emocionado de saber que Bandook estaba listo para abrir la publicación de Covid y me recomendó hacer una reserva para evitar decepciones. Llamé la noche anterior para reservar una mesa. Cuando llegamos, fuimos recibidos por una camarera que no estaba al tanto de ninguna reserva y simplemente se encogió de hombros repetidamente y nos señaló abruptamente una mesa vacía. Luego nos dijeron que el menú era `` limitado y que muchos artículos no estaban disponibles '' (no nos dijeron al hacer la reserva que el menú sería limitado) Terminamos yendo ya que solo había un puñado de artículos disponibles y ninguno estaba apropiado ya que mi pareja es celiaca. Realmente decepcionado con la falta de servicio al cliente y la comunicación del restaurante a los clientes que regresan. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, lo cual es una pena, ya que teníamos muchas ganas de hacerlo.

Awful…. Delivery driver was rude as he couldn’t find address (yet have plenty of other things delivered and no problems finding me!) Chips were cold, hard and could not eat and we ordered a kebab and a wrap… hardly any meat, again freezing cold and tasted awful! Will never order again

Had a takeaway Friday night and have to say it's got to be the best around. Would definitely recommend it.

We came to town simply hoping to enjoy a quiet weekend together, marking a year since we unexpectedly lost our dad. Longleat had always been on his list of places to revisit with Mum when they retired, so it felt like the right place to go. What we didn’t expect was how much warmth and joy we’d find — not just in the lovely village, which had a really peaceful charm to it, but especially in this little restaurant. Every single member of staff was incredibly welcoming, genuinely funny, and created such a comforting atmosphere that completely lifted our family’s spirits. The food was phenomenal — a selection of beautifully cooked, flavour-packed curries made from scratch that kept us full and smiling all evening. We’re a family of three (with one more hopefully joining soon — if all goes to plan!), and this place gave us a moment of peace and happiness we didn’t know we needed. Thank you for helping turn a difficult anniversary into a memory we’ll now treasure for much brighter reasons.

First time having a takeaway and it didn't disappoint. The food was very tasty and flavoursome and I didn't have to wait long for my order. I will definitely be coming back.

The worst Biryani i have ever had, just rice, a hard boiled egg and thin strips of chicken tikka - where was the veg to call this a special biryani and charge me extra for it, was, audacious and untrue. The last 3 curries ordered from this establishment were poor and certainly lacking in substance and flavour - very low standards. Sack the cook and employ one who has knowledge of authentic indian cooking

I recently ordered from Foysals and couldn't be more impressed with the meal. The mixed grill was an absolute delight—perfectly grilled with a wonderful blend of spices. Each piece was cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The keema naan with cheese was the star of the show! The naan was soft and pillowy, filled generously with tender keema and melted cheese that took every bite to another level. The service was prompt, and everything arrived hot and fresh. Foysals has become my go-to for Indian takeaway! Highly recommend!
