Gandhi Indian Take Away in Swindon

Tried Gandhi for the first time tonight. Absolutely amazing food ! And speedy delivery ! Thank you. Will definitely be ordering again.

Ordered here a few times and was less than impressed. Late and cold plus the driver didn't have any change so had to come back with change half way though eating an already cold meal. Last time I order from this place again.

Although the food was early,and delicious. It was quite cold..Again.

First time eating from Gandhi Tandoori and my wife and I are very pleased. We will definitely eat here again, the food was delivered hot, the food was plentiful, very tasty and we tried different meals than we would normally to our delight.

Alright food, I ordered a chicken tika massala as have never ordered from them. The mushroom rice was great and had good flavour and the poppadoms were fresh. My only slight criticism is the tika massage sauce wasn't balanced perfectly and was a little sweet for my taste

When ordering the food the wait time was advised to be 30-50 minutes. However it came just short of 2 hours. The food was nice and warm but disappointing to wait for that long.

Delivery was 30mins later than id requested it for. Although the food was lovely (as always) it was not hot,and needed to be reheated,and every tub and bag in the bag was covered in oil..

We were so impressed with our last meal from Gandhi Tandoori, we just had to order again. We were not disappointed with the service, delivery or the quality and quantity of the food this time either.

First time ordering and i was not disapointed food was hot and really tasty! Only one Thing the Nans were alittle bit over done and cripsy still nice though will definatly order again :)

The best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had! We don’t order Indian food very often because we’ve struggled to find one we liked, but the food from Ghandi Tandoori was delicious, hot and good quality. We got the set meal for 2 which is amazing value for money. We’ll be refunding!

Food weren’t as tasty than normal and with all the dishes being cold on arrival. Rice’s were so cold it were clump together.

Food not cooked properly... When I opened the chicken breast, I saw its not cooked throughly.

My partner enjoyed her meal much more than I did mine. Having said that my meal was perfectly acceptable, although the sauce was a little too runny for my particular taste. The container that one of the meals was transported in also had leaked a little into the paper bag. Subsequently we were rather disappointed by the mess that this created.

I had the chicken tikka balti which tasted great. You could really taste the spices running through it. Spot on! I also had 2 sides; the peshwari naan and brinjol bhaji which again tasted amazing. Good job gandhi tandoori!

This was my first time ordering from here. Food arrived about 15 minutes early which is great, was very disappointed with the food itself. It was only just warm and hot, in fact after a few mouthfuls we had to put it in the microwave to heat it up. Which defeats the whole point of having a takeaway. Because of this we didn't enjoy our meal, so disappointing!

My order was delivered extremely quickly, but I did not think the food was of as high a standard as usual. I felt the curry lacked flavour, the chicken was dry and the rice was only luke warm.

Nice flavours, well cooked lamb, great price (2 curries, 1 rice, 2 poppadoms and a naan for £23). Would be happy to re-order

Food was not as good as I had previously ordered. Maybe it has changed hands. Prices and delivery very good, food arrived early, hot and with a smile, just the food not being as good as I have had from them before.

Madras was a little different to normal and the patia apparently was abit too hot. But part from that all ok xx

Food not as hot as normal Nan bread under cooked

Dry chewy chicken, the onion bhajis fell apart and sauces just very greasy. There are better takeaways in Swindon.

Hardly any meat in my chicken bhuna. Won't order from here again. I expect more for £12.

Was late but in fairness I did order on a bank holiday weekend and the driver did ring to keep me updated food was really good quality and the meal deal for 2 works out really good value so would order again.

Lovely food as always. The only issue I have is the baby onion bargies. They used to be the size of tennis balls. Crispy on the outside and all soft and unctuous in the middle. I would pay extra to have them,

Food is usually very good. Had missing items from order. Called restaurant directly to sort missing items. Person answering the phone answered, heard half of what I said then told me to hold on and answered phone to another customer and took their order. Completely ignored that I was on the other phone then after about 10 mins told me to phone back in 10-15 mins. So I am supposed to serve up half a meal or wait for the food to go cold. Have reported directly to just eat but terrible customer service.

Chicken Korma was awful. Every piece was gritty, tough, watery and full of bones.

Food took well over and hour from order I didn’t realise it would take so long and could not cancel. I have had quicker deliveries. Food arrived and it was luke warm and not very tasty. Will not order from here again 👎🏼 disappointed

They were good with food allergy however delivery time was extended, over 1hr30 total wait and then everything was cold not a great first experience.

Food and flavours were really good and tasty. However, received a message that the food was out for delivery at 19:40 and food didn’t arrive until 20:10 - it is only a 10 min drive from the restaurant to my house. When the food finally arrived it had to be reheated in the microwave as was cold.

Items were missing. (Rice) amongst other things I called the restaurant and waited a further 20 minutes and still not received the missing items. I called back and they finally sent out the missing items, however by the time it arrived the rest of the food was stone cold so inedible… wasn’t a happy costumer at all and will not be ordering from here no more.

Tasted good but could have been warmer

The food may be beautiful but service appalling. Staff answering phone don’t check order then half an hour later they phone you to say it was your error. You then get an abusive phone call from the manager/owner shouting at you claiming you are trying to get free food! Had to put phone down in the end. Disgusted!!!!
