Delicious authentic curry, nan bread was delicious and chicken tikka masala main was lovely! Good portion sizes would recommend Update: got a takeaway and LOVED the option for removing dietary so a no onion no garlic passanda came and was still delicious but fantastic choice online to have it suitable to dietary needs! Shame twice now they have delivered and forgotten parts of the order, could do better to not have people missing parts how can you enjoy the meal without all the dishes!

Went for the Sunday Buffet. Not cheap as it used to be but a very nice selection as it was when I last went before the pandemic. Worth a visit.

Okay, i ordered take away, so the atmosphere is n/a. We've eaten at Lalbagh in the distant past and can vouch for a really convivial atmosphere in the restaurant. I ordered takeaway on-line for the first time i think, and the process was very simple. Our order was delivered within the estimated time and the driver was lovely; courteous, friendly. Ive struggled to find a really good madras in Swindon recent years; there is a method with madras that can be achieved in a BIR, even with basic curry sauce, but only a few seem to be able to pull it off. Hand on heart, the chef that cooked my madras knows the method. This is the nicest madras ive tasted in years. I feel so happy, that ive found a good place for madras; so i will be ordering again. Thank you so much.

Been a while since we have been here, so always apprehensive as to if the quality has changed. Was no need to worry. Service was outstanding and food of the highest quality as always. Chicken Locknu is fantastic.

Just had a lovely evening at The Lalbagh Meal for two with the better half. Excellent food served by friendly and efficient staff, happy to discuss menu options and answer questions. I tried the Shaslic Masala for the first time and would recommend it! Smashing, and a really nice ice cream based desert for the wife. Thanks to all for looking after us and we’ll see you again soon.

As an Indian person, I can confirm that this isn't Indian cuisine. This is Bangladeshi cuisine..the food isn't that great..mushrooms were bland..chicken dishes had red coloring.. the staff was attentive, the ambience is good.. Im not sure why the name board as "Indian" cuisine.

The Lalbagh is one of the best if not THE BEST restaurant in Swindon, the food and service is excellent and the staff are brilliant! I could not recommend this place enough and would give it 10 stars if it was possible!

My husband and I ordered from here for the 1st time and we're so glad we did. The website is easy to use, menu extensive, only taking 40 mins to arrive, delivered with a smile and the food exceptionally tasty. We will be ordering again :-)

Lalbagh Indian restaurant is seriously good, probably the best Indian food in Swindon. The staff was super friendly, the ambience is top notch and the food sublime. A visit to Lalbagh will not disappoint. Many thanks for great food and wonderful service.

We regularly go to Lalbagh for takeaways and to dine in, but I have to say that this time dining in was up there with the best. We had the Mushroom Bhaji, Chicken Makhani Special, King Prawn Goan Green, Pilau Rice and Keema Naan. All we cooked to perfection with a beautiful mix of spices and just enough heat on the Goan Green.

Excellent food, highly recommend the Meat Thali. Abdul is super friendly & has remained for the 20 year's I've been going.

I ordered a chicken biryani but it did not taste like biryani was very horrible.

Authentic Bangladeshi curries prepared to individual requests. Every dish was cooked well and the flavours were three-dimensional (not just chili). Service was excellent, glasses of wine delivered well above the white portion line on the glass and a terrific atmosphere to reunite with friends. We will definitely return.

Have been here several times, both for a meal off the main menu and most recently for the Sunday afternoon buffet. For the price of just under £12, I was impressed. A choice of about 6 curries, one of which was vegetarian and the usual additions like rice, poppadoms, naan and mango chutney. All good.

Ordered a Goan fish curry which I have had in various other restaurants . It was described on the menu as a fish sauce coconut curry that was quite spicy hot- exactly how I would expect it. Sadly what I receive was nothing like this. 3 pieces of white fish in a green oily blend of green peppers and spinach. No flavour at all, no coconut, no spice, no more heat than a stew. This was not a curry, and was not nice. Would definitely not go there again.

The food was excellent well presented and didn't have to wait to long for the food but didn't feel rushed either, staff was friendly and very helpful.

Had a sweet chicken curry, with pashwari nan. Banging. Compliments to the chef! Good service too. Enjoyed the meal. Popodums dips were nice as well

Ordered for first time in awhile usually good however tikka starter had no taste of tikka it was like plain chicken keema naan was like a really thick fat ball of doh with tiny bit of keema inside not nice at all chilli masala had no taste at all and was full of juice and about 5 tiny peices of chicken tiny portions i eat out alot and i like to leave fair reveiws i spent £28 and honestly a 1 star today will be sticking to my regular from now on. TASTELESS! WASTE OF MONEY!
