Missing some of my items phoned up and told them manager was really rude and disrespectful on the phone basically saying I’m lying! So rude!

Manger had go at me all cause missing chips saying I’m lying over chips even tho like your food ect for that giving you 0 stars disrespect to your customers maybe you should forget customer stuff be warm don’t order from here manger think always right and never miss anything u get blamed for it

Best to avoid this place, waited 2 1/2 hours for a takeaway which arrived cold and missing dishes, what we did receive was foul and uneducable. We called to complain and was promised a refund a number of times. We have not received this refund and they blocked our number which just shows they are liars and couldn’t care less. Plenty of other genuine Indian takeaways to spend your hard earned cash at. AVOID THIS ONE

Do not order from here - left hungry and devastated as food took 3 hours to arrive and missing my main dish (only ordered 3 mains!) after discussing with the owner and coming to the agreement of a full refund, this was never granted despite constant calls asking for my money back. This place is run by scammers. Please order elsewhere if you want to be satisfied. ps the food which did arrive was stone cold and barely edible.

Ordered a takeaway and had to chase 90mins later. Food arrived luke warm. Lamb, Pesando heavily salted, onion bhaji raw inside. Called to complain and a child answered the phone - same as when I had previously chased the order. Chucked the lot in the bin. Waste of money and time waiting for it. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again which is shame as they used to be really good.

Robbers ordered food through deliveroo and then they called us saying the lights went out so they can’t do our order and told us we will get our refund the next day. The next day came no refund then the day later we called them and told them to give the refund they said no the boss is busy at the time then we called them the next next day they said sorry we can’t giv e you the refund. They are really desperate for money poor guys

When I first moved here in may my orders were here within 30minutes. We also had extra side dishes thrown in which was lovely. As we continued to order, the waiting time became ridiculous (over an hour and 40 minutes ). And no extra free sides. I understand restaurants get busy but… if you went to a restaurant and sat at a table for an hour and 40 minutes waiting for your food you would leave and not go back ! After tonight waiting over an hour and and fourth minutes being told they are busy I shall not be ordering from them again. Especially when the waiting time was estimated to be an hour. The quality of the food is also no where near as good as the first time we ordered. I won’t be a returning customer.

Food was a little slow to arrive as they were busy, rang the restaurant and the gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant very apologetic and gave me a time frame. Delivery driver turned up with the time frame and again was very pleasant. Food was extremely good and we will definitely be ordering again.

We decided to go to Abys as we have a Taste Card. As usual it says you need to ring before going which I tried to do, numerous times over the course of two afternoons but was unable to get through. Then I tried to book online, but got an email through saying that if our booking was within 24 hours we needed to ring. So I tried again several times to no avail. Because the hotel we were staying at wasn't too far from the restaurant we decided to drive there on our way back from where we were visiting for the day to make a reservation for that night. First impressions were not great. Half the restaurant resembled more of a warehouse than a restaurant with boxes etc strewn around. But I asked for a menu anyway and then mentioned my Taste card. The man I spoke to didn't have a clue what I was talking about even when I showed them my Taste Card app with their restaurant on it. He went out the back and had a conversation with someone in the kitchen and returned a minute or so later saying no Taste card with no apology. At this point I gave up and left. If they can't be bothered to answer the phone, can't tidy their restaurant and can't honour their Taste card commitment then I can't be bothered with them!

Send completely wrong order. Phone up to sort it out, get sent more I didn't ask for. Just kept saying next order we will give discount. Try phoning again, line constantly busy. Wouldn't recommend for take away, go elsewhere.

Abys Indian we ordered food for delivery and they mislaid our order accidently we phoned to chase up our order . The food arrived rather late they apologised profusely, when the food arrived it was amazing well worth the wait and this is my new Indian takeaway of choice. Highly recommend them to everyone .

Worst curry ever. Food arrived late it was cold and completely flavourless, naan breads overcooked. When phoning the store to complain they didn’t care, used the excuse they were busy yesterday. Gone completely downhill since change of ownership.

Booked via the website for a takeaway at 6:55pm We then received an email confirming the order and it would take around an hour. Tried called an hour and a half later 12 times on and off. Someone finally answered to say they cancelled the order as we lived too far away. We had no call or confirmation and money still pending from my account. Terrible service

Lovey tasting food and their delivery took about an hour. They definitely skimped out on the chicken in the Naga curry there were only 4 small pieces of chicken. And their chicken tikka starter was not much better they had more onions than chicken. And the mint sauce dip they sent with the onion salad was glowing in the dark bright green I know energy prices are through the roof but they must be using a nuclear reactor to power their kitchen. The naan bread was like a piece of shoe leather.

I wish I could post no stars - food was awful, delivered late, missing items. I sent the whole lot back but didn't get a refund. Do not order from here. Chicken wasn't chicken - god know what it was, shami kebabs were vile - both dishes covered in red onions and sauce was red, dahl was swimming in ghee and sweet, the poppadums were stale. It was completely disgusting - I sent the whole lot back but didn't get a refund.

My wife called to ask if everything was OK with the order and a man answered, extremely rude, shouted and said "It's on route and we're to busy to deal with calls" Food eventually arrived cold. Don't order, there are far better places in Swindon with vastly better customer service.

I wonder how come this place serves such horrible food. If anyone wants to waste their money then should go for this place. My birthday dinner was spoilt and would never order or recommend this place to anyone. No wonder not many people are seen sitting in this restaurant. Ordered butter chicken, delivered half greese filled coconut curry. When i called them they said this is how they make for english people. Its sad how they cheat their customers and get away with it like this. Absolute scammers.

Worse chicken tikka byrani I have had the rice was salty .Vegetable consisted of what look like frozen baby carrots a clump of broccoli couple of peas and what looked some type of bean .Chicken tikka was nice but sparce in quatity S

Went there on the 30th for my birthday bank holiday Monday, and the place was like a ghost town, no other customer were in there for nearly two hours we were in there. The food was ok to a degree that why the star, but the short man behind the counter serving the drinks where very rude towards us. Wouldn’t go there again

Avoid! Happily takes your money but does not let you take leftovers home that you have paid for. Portions are two persons so my advice is to order 1 starter, 1 main & rice to share. Place was extremely quiet so assume the staff eat the leftover meal hence not being allowed to take it home.

Wouldn't honer the mearkat code as we hadn't told them we would use it. He said if we know you are using it we alter the portion sizes... So you don't really get a discount as they alter the portion size anyway.... How tight.

Just now had worst Samosa's of my life, Thanks to Abby's kitchen. Just to warn people it's not what you call samosa if you have it there 'neither by the look nor taste'. THUGS

Ordered lamb bhuna and the meat was tough and it tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. Took two bites and the rest went in the bin. Girlfriend’s veg jalfrezi was overly salty and had a funny taste. That too went in the bin. What a waste of £25!

Good staff but I didn't enjoy my selection. Too much red puree tasting like sugar. You need to know what you are ordering. Didn't find it good value.

The fold tasted lovely. Hot to order. Cane very quickly probably within 25 minutes. There is a big selection to choose from. We went for the chicken roshini which was lovely and the tikka masala although it tasted more like a korma it was very nice.. And it's very reasonably priced.. Especially as they have neerkat 2 for 1 but make sure you tell them when you phone up and book a table I didn't tell them because it just says you have to book online and they tried to tell me that it wasn't valid... They did do it in the end but just a heads up! Other than that, everything was great!!

A fab curry from Aby's. Seeing the number of mixed or negative reviews, I just thought I'd add that having tried a number of curry houses around Swindon, we've been ordering takeaways from here for *years* and it's always been good - variable at times granted - but always at least good.

Ordered yesterday on Christmas day. Fantastic curry, good service, 45 min delivery, food nice and hot, loved the roti and small samosas. Best lamb curry we have had in ages.

Ok first, ambience was nice..apart from that, I ordered regular coke, which was not not cold enough, also it lacked the soda in it, possibly using a Coke having lost his fizz...then I asked about tandoori chicken starter size, as I was not sure which chicken they would be using(small or normal British one) to which he quizzed me like I am eating chicken for the first time.ok then we ordered chicken biryani, to which rice was good, but chicken was literally rubber peices...and to add mattar paneer, in which some pieces were really stale and some pieces were fresh.so in all, not a good food..or might be they have some food which would be good..overall, try to have Indian food somewhere else.

So, this is a tale of two halves. Firstly, my lamb bhuna was delicious, my partner's meal on the other hand looked like it had way too much red food dye, and as such wasn't particularly nice. The restaurant was quite cold, so take a jumper, and the toilets need attention and a good clean. Would I go back, probably not...

This company took my money out of my account and then messaged me to reject my order and then said id have to wait 48 hrs for my refund....No food....£20 short and a very unsympathetic worker from Abys. Im fuming! No apologies at all from them. Rubbish customer services. Will NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!

First time I order butter chicken and I had never seen butter chicken with coconut gravy with sweet flavour and white colour. Hope chef knows wat he is cooking that’s worst Indian experience restaurant I ordered.not recommended

Food is always good there, staff are really friendly. Usually a destination for a birthday, anniversary, celebration, or just for an excuse for a curry.

I NEARLY DIE THERE‼️PLASTIC SHARP OBJECT IN MY DISH‼️ This is not funny joke,when I consume biryani dish I did feel in my mouth strange thing did took out and how you see on picture that been huge pice of hard sharp plastic,If me swallowed that I'm not alive anymore,no chance. I went to waiter give him object he pas to manager and both went to kitchen. Only waiter came back and quietly said sorry🤣🤣🤣 Thats it!!! Realy no one doesn't care more,in my opinion manager should jump in to situation and try resolve this huge issue.

In Biryani dish when I eaten did feel something strange in my mouth.That was sharp hard pice of plastic,me just went very quiet to waiter he pas this object to manager and both they went to kitchen.Only waiter did came back,he said very quiet under his nose sorry and that's it‼️‼️‼️NO Maneger or owner,no one didint talk with us,I try to pay for soft drinks as diner was already from voucher,waiter said bill on US and that's absolutely it‼️I been soo close from swallow this object,if I did no chance to rescue me, to sharp and hard.Im strongly disappointed with management

Worst tasting curry I have ever had. Not just an okay taste, but actually BAD. I had to bin the jeera mushroom starter, just not edible. The lamb curry had a smell like it's gone off. The tikka starter had loads of red food colouring with NO flavour. I'm a brown person and know my curry and this was absolutely horrible. Sorry but won't be reordering.

Ordered a delivery i have never tasted such awful food i ate some of it and I'm paying for it now never felt so ill on a positive note ive eaten in the restaurant although a long time ago and it was very nice but I think I will give this one a miss from now on.

Great service, food and good on pricing

Great location, decent interiors, but it's all downhill from there on. I ordered parathas and received something which resembled a fried pizza base. I ordered a saag curry which didn't have any saag/spinach in it, but was instead made up of parsley and broccoli. The dal was probably the only semi decent thing that I had. Won't visit again and the three stars are for the decent service and the fact that the food seemed freshly prepared.

Just had a home delivery from Aby”s, simply the worst meal ever!!Butter Chicken was in the Chef Recommends section of the Menu! All I can say is thank the lord I didn’t order from any other section!!Horrible is being generous, Sweet, cloying and full of coconut? I have never had murgh makhani with any coconut in it, anywhere!Never, ever ordering from them again!!!

Curry place very close to Town Centre with lot of curry options. The rates are quite reasonable. Didn’t really love the taste and wouldn’t go again.
