The best restaurants serving Indian food in Tonbridge and Malling South East

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic meal here Friday 19th July. The menu is extensive with good beer and wine too. We enjoyed excellent hot food, very friendly and chatty staff, and authentic Indian music in the background. Buffet night on the Wednesday was recommended by the staff, 3 courses for £14.95p which sounds very reasonable! We will be definitely trying that out. 5 stars!

A great pub. Really good selection of cask ales. Steak pie was excellent with loads of gravy 😋. Will be going back.

Good food and service. Very busy but staff still looked after us. It's a treasure for Kingshill, West Malling.

Have been getting takeaways for the last couple of years from Yasmins and recently been in the restaurant a few times to eat in, always very good and consistent not like plenty of other Indian restaurants where they start off good then start using bland cheap ingredients or a gambling if it’s going to be good or bad! I can honestly say I’ve never had a disappointing meal from here! Also well priced and friendly staff.

Food was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Great service. Definitely worth a visit. We will certainly go there again.

Don't go we booked in for new years eve paid our deposit in November got there and they had given our table away was told we could stand at the bar and eat no thank you won't be going back

Gran almuerzo con novias. El personal era muy servicial, ya que uno de nosotros tenía una alergia alimentaria. Buen ambiente y elección de comida. Todos fuimos por el menú de almuerzo de dos platos que era excelente relación calidad-precio.

When there for a lovly night out with family introduced by a rude arrogant staff member I order food out the lovly pictures in the menu. The food came out totally not what was in the picture and was discusting when I quiestion the waiter I was told it was a wrong picture and laughed at me. I was then told if I didn’t like it I could p off and go somewhere else I think the waiter and the manager was having a bad day. I would not recommend this place at all was then bullied out of the place by multiple kitchen staff

Not been for a while, had my usual chicken chilli masala, top draw, by far and away the best Indian food in Tonbridge, will definitely be back soon

Have used this takeaway before but 1st time picking my order.. Service was very good and the food was excellent.. it was hot still when I got home and still had lots left over for lunch the next day...

food was excellent, would of been 4star however service sadly let down was over a hour wait. I have reduced this rating as I was shocked to find on my bill, one glass of house wine was almost £11?!!! plus service charge of nearly £6, all in all from my last visit about couple of months a go when ordering the same as before the price had risen to over £11 more in a short space of time. Food is still nice but prices are extremely steep . Prices around the same

Curry was nice until I discovered a thick black hair floating in the sauce😭 All other times I have been here have been ok but I think you need to wear beard/hair nets as I can’t be the only one this has happened to

Went to the raj last night and it was exactly what we wanted. The welcome was friendly. The staff were attentive but not rushing to get you out. In fact we probably sat chatting for too long after the meal but weren’t made to feel like it mattered. The food was fresh, looked good and tasted better. I chatted to several other groups in the restaurant and they all loved the raj.

We were regulars at the Alishan and so thought we’d give this a go now it’s had a name change and, I think, new management. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. We were early in (6:30pm) but did not get our meal for over an hour (7:45pm). The food was ok, nothing great and definitely not as good as before. Upon leaving, the place was almost full but lots of tables waiting for food.
