Al-Madina Tandoori in Tonbridge and Malling

Family ordered the usual curries (king pawn korma, lamb dansak, prawn madras, naga chilli chicken masala, and lamb biryani) and accompaniments and, as always, all were very tasty. I never get my Indian takeaway from anywhere else. If you like the spice (heat) and want flavour I’d recommend the naga chilli chicken masala - it’s my favourite. It’s also good value for money.

We thought we’d try a new Indian…. — food looked good, packed heat, naan was massive. Finished eating, turned to my partner, and we both said said, “Yeah we’d order from here again.” Ten minutes later? We weren’t ordering—we were evacuating. Spent the night playing Squid Game: Bathroom Edition, and spoiler alert—we both lost. I’ve had hot curries before, but this one set off a full-scale biohazard response. Would I order again? I’d rather drink from the Thames. 0/10.

Eaten from here a couple of times and has been nice. This time the seemed to have a puddle of water under my food when dished up and the sauce turned more into a paste so couldn’t dip the naan in as the sauce wouldn’t stay on.

Food was nearly 90 minutes late. Restaurant claim to have attempted delivery but could.locate address and had complete incorrect phone number attached. Phoned to find location of food was treated poorly by a rude customer service person called Ali

Mr Ali runs a great takeaway in Ditton- our local go to despite competition in the area its here where we keep coming back to.... Moved here a decade ago, tried others but its here where continue to order from. Nothing is too much trouble, great customer service- never had a problem with food quality or anything else for that matter. Thank you!

What a disappointment, takeaway was for a second time not great will not be using again! Avoid at all costs save your money and go elsewhere.

Always great food, deliver on time but often early. We are a little out of their way and still gets delivered early. Our go to for Indian takeaway.

This order took about two and half hours to arrive. The resturant called me at 20:30 apologising for the delay. After I called at 21:35 to get an update I was told the driver was on their way and they arrived about 21:50 this. The food was not great. The chicken korma didn't seem cooked enough, we received an incorrect dish and there were only 2 samosas in a bag that we paid about £4.50 for. Disappointing takeaway.

We've ordered from these lovely people for years and have always been impressed by their good quality and service. Such amazing dishes! They now serve the food, colouring free, which means some of the dishes appear different but I can assure you, the taste is just the same. Aesthetically, the dishes may look different but they taste great and it's lovely to know we're eating food without the colourings.

When ordering the delivery time was between 30 to 50mins which was fine. Once ordered and payment taken it changed within seconds to 1hr30mins. After waiting for nearly 2hrs we called the resturant to ask what was happening and where our food was.

Outstanding food. Lamb was tender, flavour was amazing, quick service, food steaming hot when it arrived. I haven’t had an Indian takeaway this excellent in ages. Reasonably priced and great portion sizes. I will only be ordering from here moving forward.

I ordered it at 1814 with an hours delivery time. It then went to 1915 to 1935 arrival time. I got a text saying the driver didn't leave until 1930. I had to leave for work at 2000 hours. I even left for work late. I requested for my money back via the button, and the restaurant refused it.

They've stopped providing sauces for the poppadoms. I don't mind, but they should have warned me.

Today, we embarked on a journey to India, for our chosen takeaway. We decided, that we would go to our usually okay curry house, to order tonight. This experience, has been ridiculous. We rang around 8.15pm, and waited patiently, given a 45 - 60 minute wait. Brilliant, we excitedly hurried around getting bowls and cutlery, and sat down to watch the tele. An hour and 15 minutes later, we had no sign of the food, and were rather hungry. I was almost to attempt eating my shoes, as waiting for dinner is difficult. So, we decided we'd give them a ring, and see how much longer we'd have to endure. A friendly voice answers, I ask the question, and he doesn't know what we're talking about. He asks, "are you sure you called?", as if I had fabricated the whole event, of reading out our chosen menu. "Yes", I said, "we have paid already too". So he fumbles around in the till, and asks us for the name on the order, to which we gladly hand over, hoping he would tell us the food was on its way. He panicked, and went to the kitchen to check if they'd cooked the food, and low and behold, the doorbell rings! Fantastic! Food is coming! Exciting! We sit down, and rifle through the bag, and the phone stopped, as it had cut out. "Nevermind", we said, "we have the food!" We soon realised, an item was missing. No big deal I suppose, slightly disappointed but it a Saturday night after all. So we call back, and ask for a refund for that one item. The friendly answerer of the phone offers a choice, of having the item delivered, or next time, to have a free one. Well Sir, I may not come back to this curry house, and I am sure it won't be remembered, I'll have it now please. "Could we have it delivered now please?" A few moments later, we start eating whilst waiting for the item. We ordered lemon rice, which had big chunks of lemon skin, and was bitter and nasty. We ordered a vegetarian pathia, and was not vindaloo hot, as requested, and had absolutely no flavour. Disappointing. We ordered a lamb achari, which was also bitter from too much lemon. We ordered onion bahjis that were chewy, and slightly cold. We ordered a saag paneer, which they sent saag aloo instead. After lamenting at our misfortune, the doorbell rings again. Hurrah! The missing item. It was a naan, that was stone cold. I am very unhappy, disappointed, and I cannot overcome the loss of £50 of food, that was almost inedible. Order from somewhere else!

As always the food was great and the delivery excellent, only issue was they mixed up my Order by sending the wrong nan bread, however this has been credited to my account.

As much as it tasted nice both main meals, lamb tikka bhuna and lamb tikka jalfrezi only had 4-5 slivers (thin slices about 4mm x 20mm) of meat which is very disappointing :( both meals were mostly onion and sauce .. this is our third order and unfortunately, our last.

I normally love this place, but they were a little late, which i wouldn't mind, but they left out a few items this time. No salad for my starter, and no pickles or raita for my poppadoms. Tried to pursue this through Just Eat, but the complaints section of the app doesn't allow you to resolve specific details. Shame.
