Indi18 in Tonbridge and Malling

Had a takeaway shockingly bad ! Not sure how it’s got good reviews I’ve had better tasting microwave meals This is a honest review

Really excellent food. Top class.

Down from Scotland on family business my wife and I ate in indi18 the staff were extremely welcoming , the food was extremely good, I will be going back for another meal when I am back down.

Have had takeout before but decided to eat in. Made welcome and accessible for mobility difficulties with quad stick. Good selection on menu but not overwhelmed with too much choice. Everything clear and cater for gluten free. Good sized starters and mains. Service was good and everyone polite and pleased to help with requests made.

Visited with my friend who now lives in Tonbridge and the food was great. I ordered a chicken curry that has mango in and this was on the recommendation of the waiter. He asked me if I enjoyed and I said that I would have preferred a Korma rather than his recommendation but I enjoyed it but he arranged for me to take a free Chicken Korma away as a gesture of good will. This was a very generous of him but we were going on for a pub crawl so I politely declined his offer. A lovely restaurant and I would certainly visit again.

We went in for a late Friday night curry and the staff were very accommodating. We asked our server to surprise us with a few of the dishes and they were all fantastic! We will definitely be coming back

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Indi18 on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing! We had just under 30 people and there is plenty of space to eat and move around, take pictures... Plenty of delicious food to choose from, beautiful atmosphere, easy to get to as I had some quests coming from London on the train. The owner Hassan is a superstar! Our thanks to Hassan and the team for making my special day extra special and looking after us really well! If you are in the area, you must visit this restaurant!

We had a takeaway from here tonight an got to say it tasteless compared to what we're used to, the chicken pathia was sweet with no spice what so ever an the chicken korma was Bland an the mushroom rices were only half full so felt a little like no one cares about the way it was all cooked either an couldn't taste any mushrooms within the rice an no flavour either, sorry but won't be ordering from you again

First time in this place, food was great. Place was a little quiet which wasn't a bad thing. Always a good sign when an Indian family came in for dinner. Manager was very helpful. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and really enjoyed my meal. Will definitely be going back to try more dishes

Celebrated a 50th here. Could not fault it, the food was amazing and the service was extremely friendly and polite. Highly recommended

Worse Indian in Tonbridge my chicken madras was watery no spice to it the Bombay aloo potatoes were hard and undercooked onion barges were over cooked and could not been eaten, I got a refund never going there again I was so embarrassed to take my family for such a terrible meal

Always a great experience at Indi18. We came again for my sister's birthday on the 10th and the food was brilliant. They also brought out a cheesecake for my sister as a surprise.

I like to try different meals rather than always having the same dishes, so this time I went for the Muglai meat balls, but was very disappointed with the dish, whilst the sauce was full of flavour, the meat balls we're very bland, made with processed meat they had no flavour at all, I was expecting the meat balls to be full of flavour.

Can't comment on atmosphere as we have only had takeaway from here but never been disappointed

Went here for New Years Eve with family and the whole experience was great. Staff were all really friendly and when I asked for a dish that was not on the menu, not only were they happy to do it, they cooked it to perfection. Can't recommend highly enough!

Super tasty food and they were amenable to making dishes fullly vegan which was appreciated. Great sauce to popadom ratio!

Frequent visitor to this Indian restaurant. Service, food and experiance is excellent every time. Cannot fault this place and would highly recommend you try, you will not be dissapointed.

For the last year or so, we've been ordering a takeaway from here about once a month. The food has always been excellent and delivery has been on time. Never eaten in, but been to collect a few times and staff are always welcoming.

Very disappointed with the last 2 times we've ordered from here. Used to be our go-to indian takeout, but now the main dishes are bland. Bhajis were dry and hard, inedible. Papadums were really soft, naan very rubbery. The last 2 orders we've had were almost as if they had been left to sit and wait to be delivered, but also very disappointed that the flavour in the mains was so lacking. Must be under new ownership as this used to a fantastic local restaurant. Such a shame.

The food tastes amazing, the service is 100%, the owner is very nice and friendly. The prices are low, the food portions are very large. Everything was amazing.

Fabulous food....so authentic and flavoursome. Best place for a delicious Indian meal in Tonbridge. Spoilt for choice with "chef recommends" dishes but also all your well known favourites are on the menu. Lovely staff and the owner is so passionate about his restaurant and loves suggesting dishes based on your particular tastes. A total gem in my home town...lucky me! 😊

Had a fabulous meal at Indi18 last night - beyond expectation. It was clear that the ingredients were top quality and the kitchen team know what they're doing. Afterwards, the proprietor took the time to visit our table and we had a lovely chat - a nice touch to round off our visit. I like to support businesses with good ethical values and this is one such. Looking forward to the day when you open here in Sevenoaks : )

Very good curries . We ordered 4 different ones & every one was superb . Mixed starter for 2 is well worth having . Nicely cooked rice & the Chilli Nan was heaving with chillis Will be visiting again definitely

First time at the restaurant. Good food, would recommend. 100% will be going back again. The time slot booking could be tight, but you can see how quickly it fills up. It is a very popular place and now we know why.

Lamb was lovely and tender, but the sauce was not very flavoursome , my husband's chicken was a bit dry, maybe we chose the wrong dishes as I have heard that it's a very popular restaurant, service was fantastic

I ordered 4 main dishes (chicken korma, chicken curry, prawn dish and tandoori chicken). I have to say all the dishes were unsatisfactory - the sauces were without flavour and taste. This was particularly surprising given how positive the reviews are online - reading them again they/language seem VERY EXAGGERATED. I would NEVER order anything from this restaurant again. Simply the WORST curry I have ever had.

Birthday dinner with friends. Service was a bit over the top/eager.Hadn't finished poppadoms before starter came out. Was asked 3 times within the space of 10 mins by a different member of staff each time if our starter was OK. Starter itself was quite nice especially the bhajis and lamb chops. Mains were OK, dhansak was very spicey (I was warned, I did ask if it madras hot which is my usual tolerance level but I guess that's subjective). Other mains were ok (two kormas and a bhuna). Overall just a little underwhelming based off of the fantastic reviews I had seen on here. I think the price point does inflate the reviews as it is certainly a reasonable price for the evening out and drinks.

So far, possibly the best Indian restaurant I've found in Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells. The food is good and they accommodate people like me with a higher spice tolerance! The Chaat is good, as is the Naga. Definitely give those a try!

Had a great meal, helpful staff great atmosphere. We all tried something different to our usual meals and were not disappointed.

This place was absolutely exceptional. From the pre-customer service communications, to the food itself, this place was great. The owner was extremely welcoming and help and was happy to give advice to what dishes complemented each other. I had their Indi18 Seabass and it was delicious. They accommodated a group of 13 with ease and made us feel extremely welcome. Would definitely recommend this to all.

The food was tasty and the menu had plenty of options. I attended this restaurant with our esteemed curry club. It scored in the middle of our charts which is about right. Nothing special. There was no real atmosphere and the service was average, it felt like we were a burden on their establishment. Very unusual as the other curry houses in a 10 mile radius have excellent service. It's a shame as I really wanted to like this place.

We took 18 of our staff here for a meal yesterday and every one of them said how great the food was. The service was also excellent and cost was reasonable. I am sure that our experience will result in many recommendations to our customers and we will definitely be back again too👍

We booked with Indi18 after a number of recommendations from friends of the club. Getting a large group together is always tricky, and our numbers fluctuated, but Indi18 did everything they could to keep our large party together. In the end, we have 20 people who went and were able to be on one long table. The service was attentive, with drinks and food coming in good time. The restaurant was busy and there was a really nice atmosphere to it. Our party enjoyed the food, with not much being left! We will definitely be back.

Such a busy popular place that we felt privileged to manage to get a booking. The food was fantastic, the service was so great. Everyone was so kind and professional.
