The Chilli Hut Indian Takeaway in Tonbridge and Malling

Not been for a while, had my usual chicken chilli masala, top draw, by far and away the best Indian food in Tonbridge, will definitely be back soon

I'm a Tonbridge resident and have been ordering from here for a long time. In my opinion, there has been a steady decline in quality from The Chilli Hut and to a point where now, I wont be ordering from here again. Ordered 2 chicken vindaloo's and the dish was 95% very watery sauce with some chicken thrown in. There were no potatoes in the dish and almost no flavour, heat or spice from the dish at all. I called Chilli Hut and to be fair, they apologised and offered to replace the order. I chose not to have it replaced. When I questioned about why there were no potatoes in the vindaloo, they said that they had complaints that the potatoes made the dish watery so they took them out.... I'd hate to see how watery the dish would have been if they had been included! The poppadoms were stale, soft and clearly not fresh. Probably left over from the weekend. It's a shame to have to write a review like this about a place that I have been using for a long time, but my last few takeaways I've had from here have been poor and there are far better options in the area that are comparable, if not better, in price.

Have used this takeaway for a number of years,the curries are excellent and good value,I consider this the best in Tonbridge.

Enjoy a takeaway from here each week and always return, Great consistency and friendly service. Keenly priced and tasty food, particularly the chicken and saag dhansak which is my current favourite and they make it as spicy as you want. Always on time when I collect, can't comment on their deliveries as I haven't used this service.

I am very fussy when it comes to curry having spent many years in Birmingham! I always find the chicken tasteless and dry and always disappointed with the sauce, but we have had three in the past two months from here and it is fantastic. My husband has had mixed grill and Lamb Madras and I have had Chicken and Mushroom curry, I know boring choice but I always start with it, end up disappointed and move on to Balti etc, but this has got so much flavour I have not tried a Balti yet. Last night we also had the Keema rice for a change and it was really good.

Absolutely amazing me and my family enjoyed a meal will definitely be coming again as very affordable than some places in town

Just had the most delicious takeaway from Chilli Hut. Hot, tasty and delivered by a poor guy on a motorbike, soaking wet. Luckily we gave a good tip. Meal was divine. Tandoori King Prawn and Lamb Pasanda mains with sides; matoor paneer, sag aloo, onion bhaji’s and rice/poppadoms. Can’t recommend this takeaway enough. Efficient service from ordering to delivery less than an hour later. Thank you Chilli Hut. Happy Christmas!

Really good food, and was ready very quickly - Lime Coriander Chicken was sooo tasty, Naga Chicken too (hot!) and great veggie sides. If I could change anything the popadoms could be bigger ;) Overall would definitely order again!

Food is really good. Personal favourite - the chicken pakoras are amazing with the saag paneer coming in at a close second.

Ordered a takeaway for 4 people, 3 meals turned up and were all good. The fourth came with just the rice and no main part to the dish. Phoned back up and was told they were taking no more orders so they wouldn’t do anything about it, but after persisting they said they would send it out in 30 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later, still no dinner had been delivered so I phoned back up and was told the driver had gone home and they weren’t doing anymore deliveries. I asked for a refund for the part of the meal they failed to deliver and was told they were absolutely not going to refund me, then hung up! Would pick up the phone after that. Disgraceful customer service.

Takeaway last night with friends. This is the only Indian food we will eat around Tonbridge. Better than any restaurant. Always great quality and value for money.

In a nut shell the food was fantastic and great quantity. Very kind staff to make custom dish at request. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic flavour.

We used to use this curry house a lot regular customers until they decided to increase their prices and the staff have attitude, was making a complaint about how we were spoken to over the phone and was told not to bring up the past RUDE! Will not be using again and the food has gone down hill the last month !

This take away was really good until I cut into my second tandoori chicken and realised it was raw , and I mean completely raw. The call into them was we will send you another one and wanted the chicken back which we were completely happy to give but know it is all to do with destroying the evidence ... we cut a side off that was raw and will send it off if we get ill .....

Had a takeaway tonite they served raw chicken actually flesh raw and then had to have the insult of being offered a £2 refund and a very rude delivery driver/chef/phone tendant all they were interested in were getting the raw chicken off us and getting rid of the evidence.

Reasonably priced, efficient delivery with food hot on arrival. Onion bhajis were delicious. Various curries ordered and fair value for money.

Having read all the 5star reviews thought i would try it. It was cheap. But very average. If cost is your main driver then its probably for you. for quality best look elsware.

Have tried this a couple of times after the Pepper Lounge closed. Impressed by quality and flavour of food and definitely our 'go to' for a curry night at home.

Tried several Indian takeaways in the area but always find something I don't like, not hot, small portions, bland flavour, but can't find fault with this one, lovely flavours, generous portions and turned up piping hot. We have been using the chilli hut for 2-3 years and never had a bad meal, staff always friendly and happy to taylor a dish to your requirements, food as good if not better than any restaurant and very reasonably priced.

I work all over the uk. Have done for 10 years and if I could I'd eat curry everyday of the week. Been here 6 nights and had a meal from them 4 of those nights. Best curry house in the uk. Ask for a chill garlic madras.

I often get a takeaway from the lovely team at the Chilli Hut and have never been disappointed. I especially recommend the Lamb Jalfrezi but I really don't think you can go wrong. Good work fellas.

ordered a take away from this place and the food was delivered very quickly. However the food was extremely oily to the point where I had to drain the oil before eating it. The food didn't taste very fresh either.

Polite staff took my order over the phone. They told me it would be with me within 30-40 mins, which it was! Steaming hot when it arrived. Great price and yummy food!

Ordered a Friday Night Take Away. Efficient service, was told 30mins and was 30mins! Good quality spiced food at reasonable prices. All the usual dishes you would expect on Indian Menu.

We ordered a takeaway a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. Portions were a good size and the quality of the food was fantastic. We ordered a couple of curry's, some sides, naans and rice and it cost just over £20. Was very happy with that. Definitely be going back soon.

Have been getting takeaways from here for a few years now and have introduced all our friends. They now know our weekly order! Best Indian food by far in the area. Used to go to Turneric Gold as it was close but then it went downhill. Chilli Hut beats any local Indian restaurant food hands down.

Clearly the best Indian takeaway in Tonbridge. The food is outstanding. I order every week, the staff are always friendly and polite and delivery is usually between 30-45mins. If your lucky the owner will deliver it himself and always has time for a chat. Perfection.

stumbled on the reviews for my favourite local takeaway while looking for something else! I can only add to the excellent reviews. Very good food and a very reliable service. Although by no means that frequent a user, the guys always know who I am. Having left my cheque book, they dropped it off at the house. Quality deters us from going out to eat in the town's other curry houses! Deserves the credit.

We have only had home deliveries from here but now it is the only one we use, have had a good few excellent meals from them, trying to work our way through the menu but still have a way to go. Every single one has been delicious, never had one complaint about anything and always prompt . Give them a try you will not be dissapointed.

The only Indian worth visiting in Tonbridge used over 50 times and every time had excellent service and food. Reasonable priced even discount for collection. Tried all the other restaurant in Tonbridge and nothing comes close

Weve been to chilli hut around 10-15 times over the past year and a half and everytime they've provided excellent food with with a very friendly service everytime, 10/10 cant fault them, highly recommended.

While visiting Tonbridge from Arizona in America, I discovered the Chilli Hut. It's very close to the Best Western Rose and Crown Hotel where I stayed. The food was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

I have pretty much worked my way through the menu now. It is a well selected menu so everything I have had has been good. The chef take real pride in his work. They take good care of their regular customers and are delighted to meet the soon to be ones. I recomend the chick pea aubergine cream as a side or a main.
