Yasmin in Tonbridge and Malling

Have been getting takeaways for the last couple of years from Yasmins and recently been in the restaurant a few times to eat in, always very good and consistent not like plenty of other Indian restaurants where they start off good then start using bland cheap ingredients or a gambling if it’s going to be good or bad! I can honestly say I’ve never had a disappointing meal from here! Also well priced and friendly staff.

First time that we have visited this restaurant. It was very quiet but then it was a Tuesday evening. Attentive service, warm plates and good food. We would have felt more comfortable if the waiter had worn a mask. However, if we were in the area again, would eat here.

Visited twice this week, on both occasions, food was fabulous. Service fantastic and the price was amazing given what we had to eat. They even came out with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Recommend to everyone. Maria Ashbridge

• the owner Ali welcomed us in and was welcoming and quicker found us a lovely table next to the fan •shortly after the food was delivered to our table and the meal was ‘to die for’ In conclusion i’d fully recommend to get either a take away or eat in as there’s lovely food and exceptional service.

Just had a takeaway from Yasmin’s. We usually go to one of the other Indian restaurants in the village, thought we would have a change. Must say, really impressed with both the food and the service. Will be going back.

Have twice recently had a takeaway from Yasmin & loved it. The portions were very generous too. Will be going back & would thoroughly recommend if you like Indian food.

Really cannot recommend Yasmin's enough, great food, lovely staff and incredible value as you take your own alcohol. Three supermarkets in walking distance to pick up your wine/beer etc and have stunning freshly made indian food for the price of a take away. Everyone we have taken there loves the food, the company and the prices.

Ignore that ONE bad review! I’m not even convinced it wasn’t a competitor writing it! Best Indian food we’ve ever had. Not greasy at all. Really lovely service. Thank you!

Have visited this restaurant many times and the food is amazing. Service is always tip top and we are always welcomed warmly . Just had an outstanding take away that was delivered quickly and was piping hot . Eat in or take away we have never been disappointed .

We had a wonderful family meal at Yasmin. Our 10 year old son has allergies to dairy and wheat. He was catered for and thought it was delicious. I had the tandoori mixed grill. It was very tasty. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends.

I was sceptical about another Indian opening in Borough Green! I was a very loyal customer of the Raj, but I was intrigued after the positive feedback on Facebook. I was amazed at just how good it was! I am now a weekly customer of theirs and their standards have never dropped!

I didn't have a menu and couldn't find it online. I rang through and popped in on my way home. They have me an in-house menu and mentioned free home delivery which I didn't know about but was glad to hear as parking is awkward....

Lovely evening celebrating my mum’s 74th birthday. The staff went out of there way to make the evening special. The food was lovely and the service outstanding. BYO drink was great as we could bring what we wanted without a hefty bill.

We have had a take away and eaten in the restaurant and both times the food has been excellent. Great service from friendly staff, and ability to bring your own alcohol a bonus! Definitely worth a visit.

delivery driver completely at fault. Definitely needs to be able to get an updated sat nav or be able to use google maps. no other restaurant or taxi has had problems finding us. one hour later than expected delivery. Food was cold. when eventually arrived

3 times in a row ive ordered pilau rice and recieved plain rice, possibly an error within the app??

all toppings on pizza was stuck to the top of the box therefor leaving cardboard in amongst the cheese. cheese was also quite rubbery. food wasn’t too bad though

Ordered 2 hours ago then had to phone to find out where my order was only to be told the driver couldnt find my house complete rubbish as had them before. So told then to forget it so will defo not be ordering from these again complete rubbish

Ordered a portion of chips which we didn't receive.

Order come to £25.90 on the phone appeared and wanted £26.40 so paid with £20&£10 no bother - greasy and not like a normal greasy takeaway swimming in it. Delivered 10 minutes late then delivery driver asked if we wanted our change 🤔

Top notch great service and great quality food

The pizza was good but it arrived with extra sweetcorn instead of onions and there was no salad with the calzone. We have used Yazmin many times previously and have been completely satisfied but this time they were a bit careless.... perhaps they were particularly busy. Would still definately recommend.

Roast chicken ain't no roast chicken. It's a tikka leg and doesn't come with chips and salad as stated. Same with cirrus say served with rice and salad doesn't not come with

Food wasn't very hot, chicken pakora was rubbery and the contents was thrown into the bag and some was spilt out. It's a shame as it's usually very good here

Brilliant food, arrived early, everything I asked for and even some wee freebies too. Will order again.

Always order from here as the food is usually good. Sometimes can be off depending on good or bad days but always return. They always forget something I.e spice onions last week and today chips and curry. Previously have forgotten juice etc but will re-deliver but never in time for you to have your meal while it's hot. Tonight I found an insect in my salad from Pakora and management refused to refund even though we couldn't eat the food as it severly put us off. The manager offered nothing but to pick up the box with insect in. I've taken photos and a video and this will be sent to hygiene department.

Food was great, very nice curries. Although we had no poppadoms delivered despite being in our order. Also we were charged an additional amount of money at the door on top of the initial delivery charge.

I am actually really disapointed, I ordered the food to be delivered at 9.30pm because my husband wasn't going to be back until then but the food came at 9pm so food was cold for my hubby. I asked for salad and mayo but there was hardly any salad and no mayo that we could see. There was only around 5 pieces of chicken on each naan. It was actually really expensive for what we got. I would not buy there again.

The meals arrived 20 minutes early. the were just hot enough to eat& no more. they we’re enjoyable but the curry could have been spicier this is personal preference tho.

Horrendous, 2.5 hours to deliver, after two phone calls, food arrived like warm with 3 wrong items, absolutely terrible

Food very delayed- phoned to check they were not lost, they lied to me and said it had just left. They then called me and tried to get me to pay an additional delivery charge to the charge I had already paid through just eat. They then admitted the food had only just left- 20 minutes after me first speaking to them when they said it had just left. They just walked away from the phone and left it off the hook so they weren't speaking to us, but also we couldn't call back. I would never use these again, and would give 0 stars if i could!!! Delivery driver just argued with us!

Poppadums were soft, food was tasteless and 20 minutes late.

Haven't been here for a while and sorry to say will not be back. Kids burgers were over cooked, mushroom pakora was hard and dried up salad was brown and the mixed nan kebab was awful 7 pieces of meat and the salad was 2slivers of tomato and a few strands of lettuce covered in a sugar sweet sauce. The lot was binned. Into the car and went to Mcdonalds. Disgusting and barley warm.

Delivery driver was extremely rude, I was due £3.50 change which he had (visible to the eye) but decided he would kindly give me his 1/2/5ps in change..... also made me grab the food out the bag that he dumped on my hallway floor. Delivery charge was an extra £6.50 (£10 all in) and was it worth it.. no. Will not be ordering again. Rude service.

Spent almost £30 and it went in the bin Got a 16" munch box which was HUGE and was initially impressed. However, the various pakora were very rubbery and were obviously reheats from last night. The kabab meat was OK but nothing special. The pakora sauce was like a mango chutney, not remotely what I would expect and although OK... Again was nothing great. We also got a 10" pizza which looked good but the topping looked as if it had been put on and scraped off again it was so thin. Overall very disappointed and would have been better just given them the money.

Excellent food, great quality and bang on estimated time. Will order from them again.

pre-ordered the following- Chicken Pakora/ Chicken Tikka Masala/ Lamb Balti/Keema Rice/Keema Naan/ Lamb Naan Kebab/ Chips/Poppadom. it arrived at 5pm (15minutes early). Delivery driver was really polite and helpful. the food was amazing. everything was cooked amazingly and tasted great. nothing arrived cold. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are reasonable!

Had to pay another 4 quid delivery charge on top of the £3.50 already paid by card and thp 50 pence service charge! Used Just Eat app a few times and no other takeaway has ever charged me £7.50 for delivery!! Won't use thus take away anymore.

Driver could not find our address even though it is clearly marked on Google maps & every taxi and delivery driver we’ve had before has found address with ease. Driver called me for directions but did not speak or understand English very well. In the end, I had to come out in my own car to find the driver. So paid for delivery but still had to drive out to get my food!?! The king prawns were small, the Jalfrezi & Pathia was not that good to be honest. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a special kebab which was meant to include bbq chicken tikka chicken tikka lamb and donner there was 1 piece of bbq chicken 2 pieces of chicken tikka 2 piece of tikka lamb and loads of donner meat encased within a burnt and rock solid naan bread. I rang up to complain o was assured that they put 6 chicken 4 lamb in it and I assured them back that this was jot the case I was then asked what I wanted done about it to which I replied I would like a fresh kebab delivering or my money back. The manager had said he would sort me out next time with loads I said there would not be a next time so he hung the phone up on me. I called back and spoke with another man and he was telling me that I was n9t getting anything else as I was the only person try g to complain and they had told me that I must have lost part of my kebab. I then said all I done was open it in my house and then they told me it must be my children. They said I was getting nothing and they passed the phone to the poor guy in charge of the phone he has then tried to sort by calling just eat to try sort out refund as i have not been able to eat it. Please avoid at all costs they are shocking food place and would not recommend to my worst enemy. Unfortunately I have had to write this review, I am a chef myself and would not like this sort of feedback.

Can’t comment on the food as it’s still not arrived after placing the order around two hours ago. Said it would be delivered at 18:50, received a call at 18:50 to say it would be double delivery charge and would arrive in 15/20 minutes, 19:59 and still no sign of it. Already preparing the microwave to heat it as will no doubt be colder than a snowman’s dangly bits.

Ordered two curries, a Bhuna & a Dopiaza. Both looked & tasted exactly the same, just salt.. Chips were chalky, seemed reheated not at all crispy. For £26 was a big disappointment.

I am not so bothered the order was 10 minutes late because it was a large order and the food more than made up for it. Food was hot and tasty and probably the best dansak I’ve ever eaten.

we were informed by messages that food was en-route but after 20mins we contacted the restaurant and was told it hadn’t left yet. once it arrived after being 30 mins late, the order was wrong. The meal that arrived was lovely but would have been much better had it been what we ordered.
