The best restaurants serving Indian food in South East

Significant delay with delivery despite ordering over an hour in advance. Restaurant claimed delivery driver for Just Eat hadn't turned up yet even though even though the app said delivery driver was waiting at the restaurant. When I spoke to delivery driver, he said he hadn't been waiting long which confirmed the Just Eat app was not telling the truth. It doesn't help that Just Eat are not contactable.

Great place usually order to our home but today we enjoyed in house and was amazing highly recommend the service was great and the food as always is amazing

The best curry I have had in my life. The rice was beautiful too.

We decided to give this restaurant a go after being disappointed with our usual place. The takeaway was superb. Not overly oily, sensible portions and the best bhajis ever.

We have ordered takeaway food from here twice over the past month and both times the food has been superb. Lots of chicken, in a very fiery madras sauce and my wifes chicken tikka bhuna was excellent (she is very fussy so it must have been good). Onion bahji, bombay aloo and garlic naan were delicious.

It was rampacked, great atmosphere. Even with that the service was excellent and the food even better great night out.

Sadly, it’s temporarily closed due to a business issue - with a note on the front door. I was pleasantly impressed by the quality of this take away by Dhamaka. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and pilau rice. A very tasty and generous meal it was too. I’m happy to recommend this place for dining in or ordering a take away. It’s easy to find among the row of Bitterne Triangle shops. It has seats for about 40 people in all. Clean, tidy and comfortable seats with basic but tasteful decor. Staff are welcoming and service is provided on time.

Got a takeaway. Terrible food. Roti were rubbish and more like a Naan. ceylon chicken awful and alloo gobi also flavourless. Ate a few mouthfuls and threw it all in the bin. A microwave curry would have been more authentic.

Food is good. Service is a complete joke. Ordered 18:55 arrived at 20:47 called the restaurant twice “yeah yeah my guy is on the way 5 mins”, - further 30 mins later arrived luke warm, Nan bread was a soggy waste of £4. Really disappointing. Don’t seem to care about the service. If it arrives on time - great curry if it late you get what I got cold soggy naan bread, soggy onion bhaji total waste.
