Spice Of India in Ashford

Found PLASTIC inside the meat in the keema naan. Yes plastic. Got photos and videos to prove. Such a shame considering they were my favourite Indian takeout.

Chicken tikka masala not as good as normal, like it was lacking whatever makes it ‘rich’ otherwise was ok

Prompt delivery, but one of the dishes had leaked all in the bag. Sauces were watery, chicken inedible (hard and rubber like). Threw it in the bin, along with the Bhaji's. Had a 35% offer on, but wouldn't order again

Portion was a bit small but still ok.

We had a fantastic takeaway delivered to the lodge from Spice of India! The curries were absolutely delicious, rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The order arrived incredibly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise, and everything was piping hot and fresh. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. Incredible value for money. You can really taste the care that goes into their cooking. Spice of India is a real restaurant amongst the many fast food "restaurants" in Ashford, highly recommended.

Waited 2 hours for food to come on a Thursday. Lied to by the restaurant as to when it was arriving. When it arrived the the boxes were split.

Terrible service, contacted restaurant who were rude. Almost 3 hours since ordered and still not arrived.

Food arrived late. Spoke with a grumpy delivery driver who refused to deliver food to the flat.

Biryani didnt taste that good plus so much turmeric that i still have stain on my hand after washing.

The food arrived unexpectedly 30 min earlier than ordered. Our guests hadn’t arrived so it couldn’t be eaten straight away. As it was unexpected I didn’t have time to heat the oven to keep it warm , so it was somewhat spoiled and disappointing.

Not there usual standard the chicken pieces where very small in the chicken tikka masala and sauce was quite watery

This is our takeaway we order matar paneer but get cheese matar you can see in pic very disappointing for us and naan like rota 🤣 and we order real samosa not frozen... All over very bad quality very disappointing...

Samosa starter was frozen and seemed to be bought from a store and was very low quality. Matar paneer had no cottage cheese rather we found normal cheese which doesn't make sense and was very sweet in test. No where close to original dish. Naan also seems to be bought from a outside store rather than made from scratch. Over all very poor quality of food and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Chicken tikka rogan just tasted like tomatoes, no spices or curry flavouring, very bland. Otherwise an ok meal, chicken cooked well and arrived on time.

really nice meal. Came well packaged. Smelt and tasted amazing. The shop forgot my poppadoms so I called and The person on the phone apologised and gave me my options so they can rectify it. popped on a Film and ate a good Indian. what more do you want for a Friday night.

The vindaloo wasn’t as good as last time,no Bombay potato in it this time which I thought always came inside a vindaloo and the meat wasn’t as soft this time unfortunately,rice and naan bread was good tho

Ordered food for 18.30 and still waiting at 19.30. Nobody answers the phone for an update. Food maybe amazing but the lack of communication is shocking!

Ordered when restaurant had just opened but chicken pakoras are inedible. Rubbery batter and gave off a smell to indicate they were old and heated in the microwave, for chicken and the price it’s just unacceptable. We were regular customers but won’t order again from here now.

We're taking a short holiday to England and staying overnight in Ashford. We arrived late on Sunday evening and came here spontaneously via Google. We enjoyed it very much, the service was super friendly and the price/performance ratio was good. Thank you for the pleasant evening!

We've been ordering food from here for the past 3 years. The food is always incredible, bang on every single time. We've never had an issue with delivery and the owner is fantastic. My personal faves: Lamb biryani Lamb aubergine curry This is our go-to date night Indian curry! 100% worth the money.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice of India, and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold and complex, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The service was also impeccable. The staff was attentive and friendly, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it was the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends. I would especially like to commend Manager Sayem and the two owners, Sebul and Sekhrul, for their excellent hospitality. They made sure that we had a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend Spice of India to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal.

The driver was so polite, asking how I was, if I lived 'here', do I have children, do I work, am I living here alone, is there no one to help me... when I mentioned my partner was upstairs he ran off saying thank you, goodnight! make what you will of that guys! be careful!

The restaurant is small (will approx 15 people )The food was nice and the service was excellent. Called and confirmed they was serving Halal meat and poultry. 3 people. We ordered, Poppadom x3 Starter: prawn and puri x3 Main: 1 x chicken,1 x lamb dhansak (come with rice )and 1 xprawn curry. 1 X rice 1 x keema naan Drinks 1 x cola 2 x tango Total bill £55

Hardly any meat in the food. We had to cook ourselves some dinner afterwards. I'm 42, and this was possibly the most disappointing takeaway I've ever had. Chicken was dry and the sauce tasted very bland. bad bad bad.

Only down mark was atmosphere but only because was early evening on a Monday. We had a good range of really hot tasty food. Poppadoms with four traditional dips. A keema naan and peshwari naan. Both were HUGE and really good. 1/2 spiced chicken on sizzling onions. Chicken dhansak with huge soft juicy chunks of chicken. Lamb madras with tender succulent lamb. And a piping hot crunchy vegetarian samosa. Nothing could be faulted including the service and cleanliness. We are on an overnight trip so probably won't be back,but, you all should go. Service with a smile at a good value price for piles of food
