Can't recommend enough! We placed a rather large order and it was delivered exactly when they said it would be. It was piping hot. Every item was there plus a few kind extras! And it was delicious... Not one single thing we would change. It was a huge hit with all our guests. Thank you so much to all the staff. This place goes to the top of our takeaway list.

I have eaten many Vindaloos over the years and this was inedible. No flavour yet brutally hot. Waiter was unfriendly. Not a great experience

Hands down the best Indian food in Ashford!!! The chicken tikka massala is my go to dish and would highly recommend. Great service with friendly staff and the owner is very welcoming. Don't bother going anywhere else, you will not be disappointed! 10/10 from me!

Went here this evening for a meal. On a Wednesday they do a buffet night. The staff were attentive and lovely, the food was fabulous and fresh and the buffet was really good value for money. Thankyou for looking after us.

Came with my family to celebrate my birthday, had a beautiful meal, everything tasted so fresh, good size portions and great food also good options for vegetarians, onion Bharjs are to die for. The service was friendly attentive and helpful. Really enjoyed the meal and will definitely return.

Service was excellent for the takeaway and was offered a beer whilst I waited. Food was very nice and big portion size and good value for money.

First time take away, superb! I like a Keema naan and always worry it'll be sub standard whenever I go somewhere new, but the whole meal was great and reasonably priced. My partner is also fussy with her Korma, and enjoyed her meal too. Staff very welcoming (I collected) and well presented. Will be returning.

Went on Thursday. Haven't been for a while and was disappointed overall with the place. No atmosphere!!! No music playing all we could hear were the waiters chatting amongst themselves. Had a starter bit disappointed as the samosa had no flavour. When the mains arrived my passander looked as if it had been sitting for a while as was very dry sauce and extremely thick. The bombay potatoes were virtually the same and both needed more seasoning. The roti was like cardboard so did not enjoy at all. Very disappointed as have had 1st class meals there before and on home deliveries.

The staff at Little Raj were fantastic. I have a very restrictive diet and can’t have many of the typical ingredients in traditional Indian cuisine, however, the restaurant went above and beyond to cater for me. They noted everything I couldn’t have and suggested how to adapt their menu for me. (For context, gluten, garlic and onion being the main offenders). What they produced was fresh and delicious! They were so understanding and made what is usually an extremely difficult task simple. Outstanding food and service, thank you!

There was an error in our last order, which we decided to keep instead of a replacement, and were promised they'd sort it next time.I have just mentioned this on my order and they've rung me straight back to ask what we would like!! Just collected and ate a takeaway order, food was superb, prep time was minimal considering it was a fairly large order, staff fantastic and attentive. Forced to drink the obligatory pint of complementary Cobra whilst I waited. I am new to the area and will definitely put this restaurant on my list of places to eat. Thank you

Booked before we visited so we wouldn't be disappointed as it was a Friday night. Excellent service on arrival, very polite, friendly staff. Plenty of chose on the menu, all you would expect from a decent restaurant. The food we ordered arrived all together, it was freshly cooked and hot. We loved all the dishes we ordered. We have never been disappointed at this restaurant, whether it is the food or service, the staff have always been excellent. On this occasion they had a couple of young waiters who were learning the trade. Although they were a bit nervous they did a fabulous job.

Took family for a birthday meal on Wednesday buffet night, it was spectacular. Meat Sag was the star for me, absolutely stunning meal with an excellent range of starters, meat samosa, onion, cauliflower and mushroom bhaji dishes with rice and freshly cooked naan. They had prawn dupiaza, meat Sag, chicken tikka masala and chicken balti on offer. Drinks were a touch expensive (as they would be) and puddings were served with candles and birthday song delivered. We had the creamy coffees (a must have) The waiters were an actual giggle, real humour and a lot of fun, service was impeccable. We will definitely be back, no rushing or waiting around us to finish. A nice chilled evening! We will be back!!! (full on meal with starters, few drinks, coffees and puddings and that service worked out at £32 a head) for a birthday meal, we were super impressed!

I agree with the above August review by Mark from Maidstone, the food we always enjoy but one of the male staff has, on previous occasions, been a tad too familiar with my partner and we left feeling a little uncomfortable, although this time it was not so obvious so perhaps he has been told; very unprofessional as well and it puts one off returning

I have been to lots of Indian restaurants over the years and the Little Raj never disappoints. The food is fantastic! We usually have chicken dishes and the chicken is really tender. The service is always great and really make you feel very welcome. If you’re ever passing through Ashford and you fancy a curry then Little Raj should be your port if call! You won’t be disappointed 👍 I’ll be back soon for another great meal thanks Rashied and the team great job 👏

Had a meal here whilst on business in Ashford. The food was amazing and the meat wasn't overcooked and dry and the waiting staff very friendly and attentive. Little Raj is now my go to place when visiting Ashford on business!

These people are or were real Brummies. Authentic Balti comes from Birmingham, Ladypool Road to be precise, where in the EARLY 90s 92 or 93 I believe I was introduced to a man who gave me a recipe. The secret ingredient to which is?????

Quality of food has gone down hill recently. It’s become obvious that cost cutting has become a priority over quality. Food no longer taste fresh, it’s as if it’s warmed to order NOT cooked! Will no longer be ordering here.

Beautiful restaurant, deco and the atmosphere was really nice me and my husband had a great time. Food was delicious. Especially Naga chicken if you like bit of spice.

Food seemed like microwaved meals, Madras was more like a gravy not even madras sauce, Saag Paneer got told the ingredients were "Cheese & Spinach" yet its pure coconut can't even taste anything else. Cheap food and not even worth that price, let's hope we don't get sick! Unfortunately our usual wasn't open tonight so we decided to try here, not again. At least the Naan was nice.

Absolutely useless delivered the wrong meal twice and I opened both of the so someone is getting a 2nd hand meal got my money back and ordered from tandoori nights won't b using the again stay clear or check your delivery I never ordered chips in the first place or the poperdoms not my fault if you can't get a order right is it I won't b using you again and as for keeping the first meal why would I need 2 dinners I repeat you need to sort yourself out and if I could have given you 0 stars I would have as for saying no to free food if I'd had wanted chips I would have ordered a kebab or fish and chips as for the extra portion you driver must b fast as he only took 2 minutes to get back to me so you either send your drivers out with random portions of chips or your lying you choose and what about your poor customers who is now left waiting for there food if you want to discuss this in person I'm more than willing to come down to your poorly managed restaurant

So I have visited this restaurant tonight and the food was excellent but I have to say the male staff were far too familiar with my girlfriend and this isn’t the first time this has happened . I won’t eat here again because of this .

Our go to restaurant when overnight in Ashford. Very friendly service. Only a small restaurant so booking recommended. Interesting menu with quite a few variations as well as the classics. Spices stand out in their dishes rather than being masked by chilli though hot dishes or extra heat can be added if you wish. Thoroughly recommend.

A perfect stop off on the way home from the tunnel. Uber friendly staff, super fast service, lovely with the kids and tasty food at great price. Love to say I'd go back but I'm 8 hours away. Highly recommended.

Always love the food at Little Raj. You’ll never go wrong with a takeaway but also worth a visit to their restaurant as somehow it always tastes even better. The restaurant is clean and although not a huge venue, they’ve made it feel more intimate than too hemmed in. Service is consistently good and attentive but not too much or to the point of being interruptive if enjoying a conversation with friends. I’ve never been there during the day but seen it regularly used at lunchtime and would definitely consider using the restaurant for working lunches or entertaining clients. It’s not a huge restaurant so guess they may struggle with very large groups (but I reckon they’d try to accommodate). Prices are reasonable and I saw there were various special deals on specific days during the week. Also a discount if you’re having a evening takeaway and willing to collect it yourself. I’ve never had a problem with takeaways in terms of delivery time, hotness of the food or missing items. Obviously you’ll need order in advance during expected busy times (sporting events, New Years Eve etc.) but if in doubt, I sometimes opt to collect. There’s on street parking with a few spaces plus a large multi story car park around the corner (but check what time it closes if you’re going in the evening). There are plenty of other nearby parking options too. Verdict: If you fancy a takeaway or eating in the restaurant with friends then you’ll never be disappointed with food from Little Raj!

The curry I ordered with the naan was too bland and tasteless, the Briyani was not bad; highly doubt if it's an Indian cuisine as described. I'm not sure about their signature dishes as we didn't order them. The staff who served were quite friendly but the lady at the front desk had way more attitude and not even a smile on her face while we came in or whenever she passed by customers. Would not recommend this place.

Excellent service and food. There were four of us and we ordered poppadoms, starters and mains all washed down with a couple of rounds of drinks. Bill came to less than £120. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Nice food and nice people. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in Ashford. Found the food to be tasty, well cooked and not swimming in oil like you sometimes find from other places. Would definitely use them again when in the area.

Just had a lovely meal at the Little Raj. We had the £15 buffet which was very tasty apart from the spring rolls which were too spicy (for me). Everything else - the food, the ambiance, the service was all good!

Visited early on a Friday evening. We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we entered the restaurant and shown to a table. There was plenty of staff on hand throughout our visit. Having ordered our drinks and food we didn't have to wait long before the drinks and popadom's/dips arrived. When we were ready the mains/sides etc were with us. All of the food we ordered was cooked well, good sized portions and very tasty, particularly the Chicken Korai. The overall service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. We were very pleased to have visited for an enjoyable meal and evening. The restaurant couldn't have done any more to improve on our visit. We will definitely visit again.

We were just in ashford for a couple of nights, fancied and Indian and a couple who were in the hotel we stayed at recommended this place. I'm pleased they did because my mouth is watering just writing this review. The food is absolutely delicious, the lamb so juicy with no fat, and decent size portions. Peshawari nan amazing. If I'm ever back in Ashford, I'll definitely return

Fantastic food great prices the best Indian in Ashford by far

As a very long and loyal customer who has ordered many takeaways and recommended this restaurant to many others my latest takeaway was a surprise. The surprise was the size of the naan bread which are usually a normal naan bread size, however this time they had been severely reduced in size at least by 50%. As one of the best parts of the meal we always look forward to the naan with our takeaway. With no reduction in price for the half size naan , I would ask whether this is a cost saving exercise , a new chef or just a mistake . With a full size naan this would have been a 5 star review so please try to sort out this issue asap before you lose valuable loyal customers

All 4 of us couldn’t fault any of the many dishes we ordered, every dish was cooked to perfection. We will be back with friends in between the take outs we order. The tandoori mixed grill and korai are favourites and I tried the chilli rice for the first time and will definitely be having that again as it isn’t too hot (the chilli’s are cut into tiny slices) and I’d expect it will go beautifully with a mild dish like Korma.

The ambiance is great and welcoming the king prawn dhansak, the cheese naans are stuffed with lots of cheese delicious

The taste of their curry dishes is unmatched in Ashford and their staff are always friendly. Delivery is usually about an hour but they will even drive to local villages and won't decline an order. Drivers are polite and know the area well. I would highly recommend eating in as well because the service is excellent.

Collected Takeaway food was excellent and red hot. Staff were very friendly and also offered us a free drink while we waited for our order. Highly recommended.

My favourite Curry house in Ashford. Delicious food both in the restaurant and take away. Great selection, cater for dietary requirements. Books up in advance, so it's worth reserving a table.

Another great meal and service from all at the Little Raj. All four mains were delicious. Must come and try the buffet again as haven’t since pre Covid. Hand sanitiser on all tables, crisp white tablecloths and napkins, new menus. Everything is very clean. Keep up the great work.

I came here for a friend's birthday meal and both of us really enjoyed the food, everything we had was very nice, but we felt quite rushed by the service staff. From awkward waiters who'd stand next to the table grinning without saying anything, lots of rushed garbled speaking, and being asked three times very quickly how our meals were, it rather spoilt the atmosphere. If the food is as good as a takeaway, I'd recommend that over dining in the restaurant.

Food was just about OK, nothing special and quite bland, but I explained I was coeliac and couldn't have anything with gluten in it when I entered and the waiter then offered me all the standard beers and didn't know which dishes were gluten free, he even offered me naan bread. If you're recently diagnosed coeliac, it's important that the restaurant understand the importance of being gluten free, it should not just be the customer that is aware. Really unacceptable for somebody serving food in this day and age.

Eat there last night food was very bland not much taste. found a black hair in starter which put me off told the waiter put nothing was done about it not even an apology. The diet coke i had was flat and warm and cost about £3 for the glass tasted like plastic bottled coke which had been left out all night with the lid off. Defo won't be going back there.

Tonight 14.05.22 food it was alful, tasteless, chilli garlic chicken, bombay potatoes unusual flavour and onion barjis very dry and burnt, order 1818 arrived by 1835 shocking leftovers maybe from lunch.
